i love mrs adams bro. i get there yesterday and in line before we went into her room she came to look for me and introduced herself. and then as we all went into her room she told me where to sit and then a bunch of kids (one from my 5th grade class who immediately told everyone my deadname) and a few from last years ELA and two new kids all started to loudly debate my gender (also what’s with saying “SIR? SIR? MAAM??” like huh??? they don’t do that to anyone else) she told them to either go in the hall or be quiet. she moved two of them.

and then while i was reading bc i haven’t finished coraline yet she came over and gave me a note that said she just asked administration why i had to be moved and that she is an ally and wrote those kids up because it would NOT be tolerated. and said i was always welcome to come sit in her room at lunch. like?? omg bro?? i love you??

she did something about it as soon as she could and gave me freedom to choose my own seating. like woah i love her so much

I joke around a lot and write a lot of shit off because if you don’t laugh it’ll drive you insane.

I have my own personal views on certain topics but one thing I can say that I haven’t felt before today is -

I am so worried for me and my partners future and what that looks like for them. I’ve never been the kind of person to care how people saw or identified me you know? But my partner was raised in a different and way way way wayyyy less supportive environment than I was and turning 18 was the finish line. Real true unbiased and respected gender identity is what my partner had been looking forward too since they were 12.. and to watch one man rip away their future and to hear the hope shatter is something I never thought I’d ever have to go through.

To do it unprovoked is what gets me the most.

America has so many other problems he should be handling with the stoke of his pen and killing futures and disregarding trans people and their sacrifices instantly.. within minutes.. something they’ve worked and fought for their whole life is so fucking crazy to me.

Uprooting everyday lives and destroying the future and taking away what they already have should never have been part of the damn agenda.

I try to sound as nonchalant as I can so my partner can feel like okay maybe they’re right maybe I should just wipe off and continue to live my truth, because regardless of what the law says I’m not going to just go away or change who I am (that’s what I want to happen but due to us being raised different they haven’t quite mastered the whole I’m gonna be me and that’s final demeanor yet because due to their circumstances if they choose to go through with surgery if it’s even still an option will come with a very heartbreaking decision involving their family and that isn’t fair.) It isn’t fair to my partner that went against everything and knew the consequences but still came out to their parents….. and had to fight so be able to dress how they want and be themselves, finally reached a point where they were accepted to a point as in things were sort of looking up.. kind of in their own way, just for trump to do this idk it’s a HUGE slap in the face. This shit has me so bothered and beyond pissed off.

&& baby if you ever see this please know I will fight with you and beside you no matter how long it takes. Until you can walk this stolen land freely and safely and have the human right to be who you want to be and have it honored and respected without question.
