When you have to employ slave labor to fight the fires because you diverted the firefighting money towards the police so they could increase the number of slave laborers.

Then those police are overwhelmed because all the money you spent on them means there's nothing for social programs and capitalism being what it is creates this huge class of people living off of scraps.

Please, I don’t think I have a lot of people on here, but my aunt recently lost her home in the Eaton Fire in SoCal. I go outside, and there’s ashes in the air and I know it’s all parts of the neighborhood I used to walk around in. I would go from friend’s house to friend’s house and I can’t stop thinking about how their parents used to feed me and take care of me just because Altadena has that small town feel.

The images coming from California are beyond apocalypic... This was the sunrise over Los Angeles today. Every single video that you are seeing is tragic beyond words.

The fire has become a great equalizer between the rich and the poor and the results are just about impossible for the brain to fathom.

We are switching our support focus over to Tiltify. Originally, it was Americares because...at the time in early January...it was the only fucking campaign I could find. Deadass, I went onto the LAFD website and they told me to go there lol.

But the Tiltify LA fire relief fund is being promoted by several content creators and it's much more efficient to reach our goals if we all focus on the same issue, so we'll be turning our efforts towards them.

Other thing that pisses me off about LA fire news (along with the fact that because Cali failed to ban prison slavery so we once again essentially have slaves saving lives) is that fuck all people talk about the eaton fire even though it is also massive and imo it is purely cause it is a poorer, less famous area of L.A. Like that's no really on some rando on tumblr who doesn't know any better but it absolutely is the fault of news stations who care more if fuckin... Billy Crystal's house burned down than about anything else
