so this boy has taken over my brain. fuck it, he's coming on as a muse.

name: kyrras rawbewesfv age: 28 sex: male height: 6ft

he was raised in a rather small, remote village hidden up in the snowy mountains up until he was around 9 years old, which was when an older male of his people took him on as a ward. this was a bit early, but it let him see a little more of the world - at least until the accident.

while out travelling he and his master were ambushed by a group of mercenaries, and since kyrras wasn't quite that good with combat yet there was little he could do.

males from his race, being extremely rare, are thus very coveted by both the different settlements and, unfortunately, slave traders. his master, being considerably older, was killed, while kyrras was captured and sold, though in the fight was almost blinded in his left eye, which now has reduced vision.

after all of this, he tends to be rather withdrawn, not wanting to risk making potential bonds only to have everything turned around on him. his trust is hard to earn, but once you have it, he's the type that would gladly do anything to keep you safe from harm.

Kyrra (Keer-Rah)  Kyrra (sometimes Jyrra) are bird-like Kii and Tii that resemble the Greek Harpies. Unlike Harpies, they can be good as well. Said to have a humanoid head and torso but from the hips down the lower half of a bird. Originally, the Kyrra were all good natured and were messengers of Brand and the other gods but the god Mano corrupted some and turned them to be as malicious as himself. Bad Kyrra are often responsible for missing items and malfunctions in the home and life.  Good or bad, they are seen in small bird size. Someone who is having a bad swing of misfortune us referred to as "Being scratched by a Kyrra." Waking up with a scratch is an ill omen that one has been scratched by a Kyrra and bad times are coming. At the same time finding a random feather in your home is a sign of great fortune. "Kyrra Blessed."
