favorite thing about them Kyburi is full of hate and like, that's her whole character and I love that about her. normally such a one-dimensional character could fall flat or bother me but like, her entire character is that she's Agura's female counterpart and she is full of spite. she cares for nothing and no on except maybe Krytus, send tweet also, goes without saying the the energy-draining claws are pretty cool

least favorite thing about them I guess that her car is pretty much an exact replica of the Tangler? Adding two more wheels does not make it a new car @ screenwriters for BF5. Obviously they have to be counterparts and it makes for some killer fight scenes but I feel like they could have put a little more effort into it. they did a decent job making unique counterpart vehicles for the rest of the RS5 (except maybe Krylox). but to be fair, the fangs and stealth mode are pretty cool, like can we get this for our girl Agura pls and thnx

favorite line she calls Tezz "electric boy" in "Found! and Lost" and that absolutely kills me. also, anytime she calls her teammates fools. this woman has no chill and even less patience and I love her for it

brOTP IMO Kyburi is way too volatile of a person to have a brOTP. You're either someone she would kill for, or you serve a functional purpose in her life and she deems that acceptable but will give zero fucks if you live or die (@ kytren, krylox & kyrosys, sorry boys) Like, there are no brOTPs in Kyburi's life; you're either her ride or die or it's her world and you're just living in it and she'll allow that for now™

OTP Krytus/Kyburi (Krytburi). See the random headcannon section for a whole explainer on this as I wrote an entire fic around how these two get together, but like, Krytus and Kyburi definitely fuck. nOTP Kyburi/Krylox for no reason other than Krylox is a himbo and Kyburi cannot put up with that energy, like she would drain Krylox in t-minus .5 seconds if they were ever stuck in the same room together (I did not intend this to be a Krylox hate post but whoops it turned into one)

random headcanon bad news for anyone who thought they were getting into a short post because I have a whole fic written around this! It's called Eternity & you can find it here but here are some bullet points from it -Kyburi grew up on the streets of Modulon 5 as an orphan, right as tension between the Reds and Blues was getting to an all-time high -She has a little sister named Kiry who she'd literally do anything to protect but she hates just about everyone else -When their parents died, Sage's parents took in Kyburi's Blue twin. (Kiry's Blue twin didn't survive childbirth, which is also what killed their mother). But they didn't take in Kyburi or Kiry because sentiment against Reds was so bad at the time, so Kyburi was left to fend for herself and her baby sister, which is why she hates Blues so much. she has major trust issues and a LOT of them stem from this incident -Krytus eventually finds her when she's living on the streets of Modulon 5; they fall in love and move to the Red Sentient planet to join the revolution. Krytus essentially saves her and from that moment on it's her and Krytus against the world -Red Sentients still have pretty traditional gender roles, so the men fight in the revolution while she starts working in the hospital and is tasked with healing Kytren, who's addicted to a Red Sentient street drug (hence the fragmented speech). this gives her a soft spot for Kytren but there will always be a part of her that thinks he's weak because they went through similar traumas and she overcame hers while he turned to drugs. she has slightly more patience with him than the rest of her teammates but only a smidge because again, she's Kyburi and she hates, I repeat, everything

unpopular opinion I don't think I have one unless there's someone out there who disagrees with the fact that Kyburi is a certified one-dimensional bad bitch

(WARNING: Swearing, Angst)

"This feels....strange...." Vert said. Well, more like Krytus said it. He took over Vert's body during a mission on the red sentient home world. A mind control device that he has invented, so that it will allow him to control one of the BF5 members so that he could be sent directly to Sage. Krytus looked at himself. He was amused by how tender his skin felt. He pinched himself because he wanted to feel what flesh felt like. "OW!" The pain was intense. "I guess being a human is.... Complicated...." He said. He looked around the hub. He know this place. He saw it while Sage was being mind controlled by him. Well, a part of the hub. Not entirely. He studied every part of it when he arrived there. A grin came up on his face. Now he can finally eliminate his sister....

Sage was standing right in front of him, back facing him as she was working on her quantum computer. Krytus kept staring at her, jaw tightening and hands clenching. "I must eliminate her...." Krytus mumbled under his breath. He took a step forward and when he was near Sage, he got stopped by Zoom.

"What are you doing dude?" It was Zoom. Krytus looked at Zoom angrily. Sage turned around. "Vert? I'm sorry. I didn't see you." Sage apologized. "You okay?" Zoom asked. Krytus then realized that he should act like Vert. Otherwise they would be suspicious. "I-i'm fine hu--- I mean... I'm fine! Just a little... T-tired..." Krytus said. "Be calm Krytus..." He heard a voice inside his head. It was kyburi. "I will..." Krytus said. "If you are tired then you should go to sleep." Zoom said, with a small smile. "Okay." That's when Krytus realized, he didn't know where Vert's room was. He started to panic. He felt warm liquid on his forehead, dripping down to his cheeks. "Want me to take you to your room? You look like you are sick!" Zoom said as he came to hold Vert's hand. "Y-yes....thank you..." Krytus said, nervously. "It's been eons since you said that word to anyone other than the reds, Krytus..." Kyburi said. "I know Kyburi...". "Vert, we're here..." Zoom said. Krytus looked at the door to Vert's room. He smiled....odd of him. "Thank you." He said as he got inside his room. "Anytime dude!" Zoom said and walks away.

Krytus looked around Vert's room. There were posters of cars on each of the walls and there was a picture of him and his parents on his nightstand. A white bed, a computer and a TV was seen on his room. He sat on the bed and smiled. "Rest Krytus" kyburi said. Krytus laid down and made himself comfortable. He closed his eyes and drifted off to sleep.

"GET OUT OF MY HEAD!!!" He heard someone shout in the distance. Krytus was standing in middle of a dark place. There was nothing but void and the echo of the man shouting "NO!" Krytus shouted back. "NOT AFTER I ELIMINATE MY SISTER!"

"MY TEAM WILL FIND OUT ABOUT YOU CONTROLLING ME YOU SICK F***" This time, he saw Vert coming out of the shadows. He was filled with anger and hate. He lunged towards Krytus and grabbed him by the throat. "GET OFF OF ME!" Krytus shouted, pushing him off. Vert stumbled backwards. He lunged at him again, throwing multiple kicks and punches. Krytus defended himself by blocking him with his arms. He pushed him down and pinned him on the ground. "GET THE F*** OUT OF MY HEAD!!!" Vert shouted. Krytus looked at him silently. Vert was shaking in fear and anger. He was fearing about Sage's death. He would lose all of the sentients minds stored in her head. He realized he was in fear and gripped on Vert's arm even more, causing him to wince in pain. "GET AWAY FROM ME!" Vert shouted. Krytus' face softened. It was the first time he felt sorry for someone. Vert is now vulnerable at anything. Krytus immediately kissed him on the lips passionately. The kiss was filled with lust. It went on for minutes and Krytus wanted more, but not this time. He pulled away from him and saw Vert shocked about what just happened. "I'm sorry...." Krytus said before fading away.

Hot Wheels: BF5: Netflix Anime AU Fanfic

Yeah I'm gonna try this. Basically, if I were to make BF5 into a Netflix Anime AU/Reboot of itself, like I posted about before. Lots of little dumb ideas.

Dunno if anything will come of it but here are my thoughts:

Morally grey Sage from get-go. She genuinely advocates for killing the Vandals, Zemerik, and Zug if they can because it's the fastest way to end the war and protect Earth and the Sentients. She remembers the reds but never says anything about them and doesn't remember how they'd be awoken anyway.

Genderqueer Stanford + Trans Spinner. I love. Trans rep.

Vert/Zoom, because I will go fucking down with this ship

Tezz/AJ, because grumpy/sunshine is the best trope and you cannot stop me

and Sherman/Agura/Stanford because polyamory is great and if you watch Cold as Ice and Mag Wheels and Blue Tide back to back you will understand why I ship it.

Grace becomes a secret keeper in season one. The gang are shitty liars and people are only so dumb. She puts together that something is going on and tells Vert to either explain it, or she's going to Johnson with her theory of "it's a fucking cult". So he shows her the basement. She gets a watch but no vehicle (until late season 2/early season 3)

Zoom ends up in a pretty entertaining situation where Sheriff Johnson likes him and no one else on the team because Zoom grew up in a monastery, and when he tells Johnson, that reminds Johnson of all the samurai and samurai-cowboy movies he loves and he gets really curious about Zoom's skills and wants to get him a cowboy hat

Krytus and the reds stay scary way longer. Like, skin of their teeth, Sage even post-fuser is scrambling for more weapons, scary.

Everybody's a little neurodivergent~ As a treat~

Spinner and Zemerik boink at one point. There's a long running consequence of that being that Zemerik goes easy on the Buster in battle zones and helps them out a lot more willingly against fellow enemies. Their eventual friendship as a result of the kidnapping and boinking is what leads Zemerik to aligning himself fully with Sage

Everybody's a little bit horny~ As a treat~ And Vert and Stanford definitely roll into bed together a few times because. They're horny dudes with no standards. And they share a bedroom wall. Easy math.

WORLDBUILDING AND LORE AND HISTORY AND LORE and the actual explanation for Stanford's ancestry, Sherman's super strength, the Blue Flame, the Crimson One, and so much more. Also a fuckton of Sentient war history.

How did Tezz survive? And shouldn't he have needed to recover? Yes to both.

War. Criminal. Sage. The gang actually has to grapple with the fact that they're actively taking orders from a war criminal and whether or not Sage was justified in what she did and if she had any other option

There's gonna be a whole arc centered on Agura's hunting ability and its importance to the team's survival in dangerous situations

Zoom almost accidentally becomes Vandal Warlord because he almost kills Kalus when he's trying to save Vert's life. Kalus becomes very invested in Zoom after this.

Which is all to say that by the end of season one, Zemerik is more interested in the brothers than Vert and Kalus is more interested in Zoom than Vert, and Vert makes a joke that he's feeling a little neglected and wishes he had the spotlight again... about an hour before we meet Krytus. Who is fucking obsessed with Vert.

Kalus has a husband. He's a black panther named Xunsu.

Zeke also has a husband. And is Jewish.

The slow spiral of grey morality, battle zone exhaustion, and fear that the war is never going to end

Oh, in season one they are in a battle zone where they encounter one of the red cryo pods but when they describe it to Sage she tells them it's nothing to worry about. Needless to say, when it gets cracked open and fucking Kyburi walks out of it in season two, they're a little P.O.'d with Sage.

Soooo, how was Avel made exactly? Cuz I don't think a Human/Red Sentient hybrid would be made naturally

And you'd be right! Avel was indeed made through artificial means. I know that I made a bio of this guy before, but that's outdated as I have decided to change how he & the rest of my next-gen OCs were made.

The process of his creation involves a certain AU of mine, wherein the Ancient Ones are way more eldritch like and aren't dealt with in a single movie. Long story short, they decided to try an experiment in creating soldiers to help in their fight against BF5 & The entire Sentient race. They ended kidnapping and using BF5 (The founding members) and RS5 (Who were freed from their ice prison to help out with the battle against the Ancient Ones, but are heavily monitored and kept on a leash) to make these soldiers, along with potentially humiliating them and breaking their spirits due to being a massive thorn on their sides. It, wasn't great time to say the least for both parties. They do eventually get rescued, but the deed has already been done and the soldiers that the Ancient Ones wanted were made.

I'm still working on the rest of the Fuseshipping kids. I'll most likely draw Agura's/Kyburi's kid up next, since she's the one (besides Avel) that is sufficiently developed.

BF5 Headcanons: Reacting to/what they’d do if their SO was kidnapped (Vandals, Sark, Reds)

-Their SO came along to watch the team train, and somehow their SO was kidnapped.

Agura Ibaden -

   -Vandals:

Isn’t too worried, since she has managed to trap them all at once

Is still mad, and makes sure to trap them for longer this time

The Vandals won’t be getting out anytime soon, and Hatch is definitely going to be paranoid for a while

   -Sark:

Is worried, she knows how easy it could be for Zemerick to keep her SO locked away, or harm her SO

Makes a plan with the others, and tries to keep her cool

Doesn’t want to waste anytime, and can be a little reckless...but Vert and Stanford calm her down

   -Reds:

Is absolutely livid, especially when she finds out Kyburi took her SO

Doesn’t tell the others, and gets a battle key...and immediately regrets it

She can take Kyburi, but they are evenly matched, and she lets her anger cloud her judgement

She goes back for help, and she eventually wins, of course with the team’s help

She starts crying because she is so happy her SO is safe and back with her again

AJ Dalton -

   -Vandals:

He wasn’t really worried about the Vandals...or at least he didn’t show it

They were big, but it wasn’t anything he couldn’t handle...it would be sort of like football practice and pushing around practice dummies

He was obviously still worried about his SO, but he knew he would be able to keep them safe

   -Sark:

He was a little more worried, but the Sark were nothing the GearSlammer couldn’t take out...if he took Vert with they would be fine

He would definitely scoop up his SO, and punch Zemerick (kind of like that scene in Hercules)

As soon as he got to his SO he made sure they were unharmed, and might teach them some self defense, especially if he wasn’t around...it help him feel better

   -Reds:

You know how AJ is usually happy and bubbly...well he’s not...and it’s honestly terrifying...this dude is smart and cunning when need be

He wouldn’t even think of telling anyone, not even Vert, and would race off to find his SO...if there was even a bump on his SO, there was no telling what would happen. Krytus would probably nervously laugh whenever he saw AJ again

Lots of snuggling and hugging his SO, and probably wouldn’t let them out of his sight for awhile...he hates worrying and just wants his SO to be safe and happy

Sherman Cortez -

   -Vandals:

Not too worried. He’s seen them up close, and dealt with them...been one of them

They’re just big animals, and honestly not very smart. This would be an easy rescue mission...Dude can lift a tank...he could and would punch their lights out to get his SO back

Would just make sure his SO is safe and unharmed, maybe give them tips on how to deal with the Vandals on their own

   -Sark:

So remember the time the Sark took Spinner? Yeah, he’d react like that...but worse 

Can’t focus on anything and is really angry. He might get -a little- a lot reckless and the team will often have to hold him back...which takes a lot

He just wants to get his SO back, and can’t stand to lose anyone he cares about...lots of hugging and would probably set up some kind of panic button

   -Reds:

I would start running, because this softie is literally about to burn something down...think the Gladiators episode where he was about to run over Zoom

Angry crying, no thinking, and all action, and usually Spinner can talk some sense into him but not this time...the Buster would be completely banged up and the Reds would be a bit nervous around him

Eventually gets his SO back and breaks down crying, doesn’t let his SO out of his arms for a while and just wants to make sure his SO knows he will always protect them

Spinner Cortez -

   -Vandals: 

Quite honestly, for once he wouldn’t freak out and would go in with a clear head

The Vandals aren’t that bright and he would set a lot of traps...getting his SO back would be more like a game

The Vandals would be a little freaked out

   -Sark:

Worries a lot, and is paranoid...he just doesn’t want his SO to be hurt

But, he knows he’ll be able to coax Zugg into handing his SO over...maybe

If all else fails he can easily hack into their mainframe, he’s not an amature in the slightest, and nothing is too much for his SO

   -Reds:

Would probably freak out a lot and then drag Sherman along with him, he just wants to make sure he can be there for his SO in every way possible

Will hack anything and everything so he has an advantage over the Reds, he’s paranoid and cautious and would take every advantage he can get

Lots of crying and hugging once his SO is back in his arms, might program something into their phone like a panic button 

Stanford Issac Rhodes -

   -Vandals:

He absolutely hates Vandal, but he would do absolutely anything to get his SO back...even go to vandal, that's how much he cares for his SO

Would have the Reverb completely set up and would try to be as quick and efficient as possible...lot’s of screaming if a bug comes near him

As soon as his SO is safely at the hub he’d make sure they are unharmed before he checks himself for anything

   -Sark:

First tries to reason with Zugg to give his SO back, but if that doesn’t work he’d definitely go in with the Reverb ready to go

There’d be a lot of Damage to the Sark and the Reverb, the job was messy but he got his SO back...just barely

Checks his SO for any marks, scratches, scrapes, or bumps...would hug them and tell them to be more careful, but that he’ll always be there for his SO

   -Reds:

Remember when Simon stole his car, or when Simon was around in general? Yeah he has that energy but amplified...this Brit is absolutely livid, and there is a lot of screaming and creative swears

Would probably steal the Splitwire honestly, he needs as much fire power as possible, and he is not taking any chances on his SO’s safety...the Red’s are horrible, but not scared, more so shocked

As soon as his SO is back at the hub safely there’d be a lot of hugging and aftercare, he’d make his SO as comfortable as possible and assure them he’d do absolutely anything for them...but that they should be more careful

Tezz Volitov -

   -Vandals:

Isn’t worried at all

Easily gets his SO back from the Vandals, and doesn’t really show mercy

Tells his SO to be more careful and aware when they come on missions

   -Sark:

He’s obviously worried, but doesn’t show it or tell the others...would definitely speed off without a word

Would have an advantage over the Sark and didn’t come in without a plan...there’s definitely a wake of damage and no mercy for any of the Sark

Would probably put up a perimeter of security around the hub, that way he can keep his SO safe as well as the others...he may not show it but he really does care

   -Reds:

He is absolutely furious, like his glove is no longer set to stun...if Krytus has his SO he will not go down without permanently destroying Krytus

Has a plan to destroy the Reds for good...again there is no mercy from him and quite honestly it’s enough to stun Krytus (if Krytus stops to actually think you know this emo boy really left his mark)

Makes sure his SO is safe and unharmed, he’s usually not big on touch, but he will hug and maybe hold his SO’s hands for a while...he just needs to know they are safe and he’ll be there always

Vert Wheeler -

   -Vandals:

Like always Vert is worried about his SO, but he doesn’t show it

He easily comes up with a plan...it’s the Vandals who took his SO, it won’t be tough to get them back

He’s cool and collected, and would obviously make sure his SO is okay, before telling them to be careful

   -Sark:

A little weary and isn’t sure why Zemerick would want his SO, but he has to get them back

A little more worried than with the Vandals, but will keep his cool...as long as he has a plan he can get his SO back, but the Sark will have to wait a couple months before their next attack

Makes sure his SO is unharmed and might give them a small dagger similar to his sword...he wants them to be safe

   -Reds:

If the Reds are ever involved he definitely loses his cool, especially since they took his SO...all hell breaks loose and Vert would stop at nothing...he’d fight Krytus after every respawn

I imagine the others would come with, and Sage would give them a boost...no matter what the Reds would definitely have to replan their strategies

Vert would probably be very clinging, and want to make sure his SO is safe and unharmed...would probably give them lessons for self defense or have them stay at the hub (at least until he figures out how to keep his SO safe)

Zoom Takazumi -

   -Vandals:

He isn’t too worried, but he is mad

Fists of fury...he’d do anything to get his SO back...and the Vandals are going to feel it the next day

Would hug his SO a lot and make sure they didn’t get hurt...much like Vert would probably offer to give them self defense lessons

   -Sark:

He keeps his cool and would either bring Vert or Spinner with him, he knows he can get his SO back with a plan

The Sark definitely are surprised and will need repairs...please don’t make Zoom mad, he may look cute but he’s strong and is dangerous

Lots of hugs and snuggles for his SO, even if they insist they are ok

   -Reds:

Kytren...buddy...bad idea

Zoom would be absolutely livid and there is no mercy for any of the Reds...they would be rattled and would definitely rethink what they thought about Zoom...he’s definitely dangerous

He’d make sure his SO was safe, and if they had any cuts or bruises he’d immediately take care of them...he would still be angry a few days later but eventually he would calm down

All of you are weak!!!" Krytus shouted. He kicked Vert in the stomach all of a sudden, causing him to fall down. He looked up and saw Krytus, ready to kill him by raising his sword. He was aiming at Vert's neck. "STOP!!!" Someone shouted from the distance. Vert and Krytus look at the side. They saw you coming in between them. You blasted Krytus with your electric powers. You saw him hit his back against the wall of a giant rock. A smirk came up on your face. "(Y/N)!!! What are you doing here?! Get inside the mobi" Vert said. "What am I doing here?! You nearly got yourself killed! I'm here to save you!" You said, as you held out your arm for him to get up. "I don't care if I die! I want you to be safe! He's after you (Y/N)! (Y/N), you're full of energy. So delicious!" Kyburi said. You and Vert fell down. You saw Krytus coming towards you. "How dare you!" He said as he picked you up by your shirt, slapping you harshly against the face. "(Y-Y/N)!" Vert tried to grab your hand, but Krytus pushed him away. Vert gasped in horror when he saw Krytus beating you up. You were weak as Kyburi drained all of your energy. Blood came out of your nose, mouth and several bruises were formed. Krytus, with all his strength, threw you as if you were a stone. Your back, hitting against the same giant rock Krytus was thrown against. "(Y/N)!!!!! NOOO!!!!" Vert shouted. Both Kyburi and Krytus laughed. "See? You all are weak!" Krytus said. "You.....You'll pay for what you have done!!!" Vert said, with pure hate. Krytus grinned. "I don't think so..." Krytus said as he grabbed Vert by his throat. He struggled to breathe, until Stanford blasted him. Vert gasped for air. Agura fought off Kyburi and Stanford picked you up, placing you on the Reverb. He drove to the Earth portal. Tezz helped Vert get up. "Are you okay Vert?" He asked. "Y-yes... But (Y/N) isn't...." Vert said. "Stanford took her to the hub. Get inside the Saber. We are getting out of here!" Tezz said. They both got inside their vehicles. The whole team went to the portal and inside the hub, leaving Krytus and Kyburi alone.

Sage patched Vert's minor injuries. (Y/N) sat the infirmary bed. An oxygen mask, a drip and several other things were attached to your body. Your bruises were deep purple and blue. Vert looked at you sadly. "Is (Y/N) okay?" Vert asked. Sage sighed. The whole team stood beside Vert, concerned for both him and (Y/N). "She.... She's in a coma...." Sage said, sadly. Everyone gasped. Vert started to cry. He sat at the chair beside the bed you laying on, grabbed your arm. Crying onto it. Agura placed her hand on his back. "She'll wake up soon Vert..." Agura said in a soft tone. "When?" Vert asked. Agura stood there silently. "What if she doesn't wake up?" Vert asked. "I'm positive of her waking up! It'll be soon, I promise!" Zoom said, running upto Vert and hugging him. "Let's head to bed Vert. It's late and you need rest...." AJ said. "No. I'm staying here with (Y/N)!!!" Vert said. Everyone frowned. "Very well..." Sage said. "You can sleep on the extra bed over there. Good Night Vert." Sage said. They all left the room, and Vert kept on crying until he fell asleep. Sage checked up on him after each hour. He never slept on his bed the entire night. He was still sitting on his chair. He made himself comfortable the whole night, while still holding (Y/N)'s hand.

The next day and the days afterwards, he was rough and strict towards the team. He doesn't want his friends ending up like (Y/N). He can't handle anything like that anymore. Everynight, when everyone goes to bed, Sage hears Vert inside the infirmary room, crying. Sage and the team made sure Vert is fine and healthy. He has skipped meals for weeks, and Agura had to drag him to the kitchen. Vert really misses (Y/N). Vert wants her to wake up as soon as possible because...

He was planning to propose to her on her birthday, which was a few days after the day she ended up in a coma.
