I SAW THIS ON TWT BUT q!étoiles I think said to q!phil when he returned from the birdcage (this is roughly btw) that without him (q!phil) he was nothing and he would instantly die. And the day q!étoiles went to fight the codes, q!phil wasn't awake and guess what happened, HE DIED.

It’s weird re-watching DS9 after reading the Terok Nor books because I keep… sort of forgetting the books were written DECADES after the show was made, and aren’t technically even canon? My wife and I are watching “The Collaborator” which I remember exactly ZERO details from the first time I saw it anyway, but now I feel like I have all this insight into who these characters are and what really happened. But I don’t really, do I? But it feels like I do so I keep flailing at my wife about it… and of course more than half the time she’s like “I know, they explain that later.”

Anyway, when Kubus Oak showed up on the station I lost my fucking SKIN. And the episode just kind of forgets about him half way through??? I have to go check Memory Alpha now and make sure someone removed his organs for him or something because fuck THAT guy in particular.
