Had a lot of fun with this one. I'm particularly proud of Newman, and he was the fastest one to caricaturize. Only took about ten minutes.

Just me doin' the dumb things I gotta do. I know this is a joke that will pretty much ONLY land hard with people, and mostly other cartoonists, over a certain age. But I'm pushing frickin' 50, and it's MY comic, so if I want to reference a mostly forgotten 80s sitcom that I loved for one reason, then this is the way. There. The kids will get THAT reference, right?

halfway through drawing this i got a BSOD that corrupted the file and my life flashed before my eyes because this was like the one axl drawing that i Liked. it was a whole struggle to get it back i went through control panel i almost did a whole system restore i went through error logs and turns out it was perfectly preserved in the firealpaca backups folder. so that was fun! anyways i hate axl's character so if these seem out of character that's On Purpose.

I always tell myself to not get too emotionally attached to old series and shows from the 60s, 70s and 80s cause eventually that will make me feel old, sad and terribly nostalgic (especially when I'm 40+ years late!) but I really cannot help it.

Sometimes I just wish I had experienced them when they came out, with the rest of the world.
