I’ve got the complete set now. Found a new orange and white boy at the shelter and named him Shen Yuan and brought him home to keep baby Binghe company. Little Yuan’er is still adjusting, but just in a few hours he’s gone from hissing and growling every time Binghe tried to pounce on him to playing back calmly. These two are gonna be best mates I can tell! Binghe for his part is EXTREMELY happy to have a friend, although his version of making friends was “pounce and bite hard!” which Yuan quickly discouraged.
Now chilling in the couch with son while Binghe sleeps on my chest and Yuan’er sleeps beside son. After a hectic afternoon, all is calm and peaceful in the house.
They play often and have a grand old time but I've been under the weather all week so I'm thrilled they found one they can share instead of racing through the house.
So happy Donati and Junko get along. They are growing so fast.
Today’s kitten content! Roommate sent me this while I was at work and I just got so happy! They’re so adorable, and are already good buddies. Yuan-er still complains a lot when they play, but he keeps diving in for more so I’m concluding that’s just his personality. He also sat at the end of my bed this morning while I got dressed and complained about…something. Not sure what. I gave him pets but that wasn’t enough. Meanwhile Binghe is a confirmed snuggle bug. And also starting to be a good stealer. Yesterday I was laying in bed eating a yogurt and he came up and tried to drag it out of my hand. Then he tried to pull the spoon out of my hand. Last night he got up in my lap while I was eating Taco Bell and pulled my container of cheese sauce onto the floor before I could stop him. He is an absolute menace and also my precious boy.
