It was the coronation day in the Briar Village. Coronation of their future king, Malleus Draconia.

Many authorities, and royal families were invited to this historical event. He gazed at every of the partying nobles from his throne, above them all. His most loyal retainers, Lilia Vanrouge, Silver, and Sebek Zigvolt, standing at his sides for his protection, even though he could overpower them all in a matter of seconds.

This event was also greatly feared by humans from all across the world, which made all the fae's even more proud. The view of humans shaking in their boots gave them a sick satisfaction.

Even the newly crowned Fae King had to admit, that seeing humans shaking in fear at his power also gave him the same sick sense of satisfaction, and he greatly enjoyed it.

Especially that one human in the corner, who was fiddling with their fingers. He was watching them for quite some time now, his eyes unable to leave their smaller form. Since coming here, they never raised their gaze, not even once, and the King found himself being drawn to this human.

With a few of his words, he already saw his advisor, Lilia, walking towards you. He smirked slightly and smugly at the sight, and yet even when his retainer talked to you, you still haven't lifted your gaze.

When Lilia finally took you before the throne, before Malleus, only then you decided to lift your head and look at him. The dragon fae, becoming awestruck, not being able to utter a single word.

It was you.

You, the person from his dreams. The person who was always with him, whom he was sure he would never meet. The very person he cherished, even if there was a chance that you didn't exist in the same world, till now that is.

He immediately stood from his throne, alarming many, guests, staff and the guards. Moving so fast that, you couldn't understand nor see what was going on, you found yourself in his embrace, straddling him.

You instantly flushed at the King's bold action, as everyone was watching you two now. To avoid having to see everyone staring, you hid your face in the crook of his neck. Which gave you even more attention, as the man you're straddling responded with a low pleased growl.

Everyone was extremely shocked at the happenings before them, but when Malleus exchanged a look with Lilia, who immediately got the message, started to stop the crowd from staring at the two of you. Everyone instantly lowered their gazes, just like you did before, scared to look up again.

'Look at me again' A deep voice echoed in your ears, a command, as you slowly looked up with the help of his 2 fingers under your jaw. When your eyes met you got crushed by the feelings his gaze held. An intense longing, with an enormous amount of love and devotion.

He finally has you in his grasp, and he won't let you go. He supposes he can spare that family of yours that was hiding you all this time, but only if you're gonna beg for it. After all, he is merciful enough, doing everything for your sake.

But one thing is for sure, this dragon wasn't so happy in a long time.

I'm gonna say it again BUT writing for Malleus is so satisfying. I wrote a fic way longer than intended but oh my, it came out so good. I'm so proud of this one 🦚

Livia: *Sits in her knees trembling*

Sebek: Livia?

Livia: *Looks over, a small dragon in her arms, tears falling down her cheeks* M-Mal Mal...

Malleus: Beastie...

Livia: *Hugs the small dragon, her hair curtaining her face* I've stayed in this room since Aura passed and asked me to take care of everything....

Sebek: *Kneels down beside Livia, placing a hand on her back*

Livia: *Smiles, the baby dragon staring up at her* Adia....Adia Draconia..

Malleus: *Walks over, placing a hand on Livia's shoulder*

Livia: *Wails, hugging Adia, her hair turning a faint shade of blue* AURA! SHE'S HERE!

Aura(Spirit): *Sits on her knees in front of Livia, smiling tearfully*

Livia: *Cradles Adia, trembling* My baby...my new baby..your my baby say it to..me...

Adia: *Yawns and falls asleep, cuddling close to Livia*

Livia: Nobody...will touch Aura's daughter....not on my watch...

So I was doing some math, and I THINK Skully is almost as tall as Malleus without his horns

I think the main reference to his height is Epel being surprised they're the same age because he's taller than Sebek, yes? which I find interesting, considering Jade and Malleus -- two of the tallest guys in the main cast -- are also there. and, since I've never been one to not think waaaay too much about the absolute stupidest minutiae about fictional characters, I see two possibilities:

one is that Epel is extremely good at eyeballing heights (I actually do feel like he could be? like. I'd believe he can estimate someone's height fairly accurately by calculating based on the life stages of an apple tree, or how many apples tall they are, or something else apple-related like that.) and Scully does, perhaps, fall into that narrow margin between Sebek and Jade in height.

OR two, out of the three certified Tall Guys there, Sebek is Epel's main frame of reference because he's the only one he's had any real interaction with for, let's be fair, pretty obvious reasons.

SO in conclusion, we still have no concrete answers and will probably have to wait until next year when we get his card profile, alas alas. 😔

washroom reveals

Ayo… I think we’re going to see the washrooms for ALL the dorms eventually??? 👀

First we saw Heartslabyul’s, now we have Savanaclaw’s! The colors and patterns very much suit the dorm. djshsjwnwk I like how you can see water running in the back; I wonder if it runs into a (lounge) pool that people bathe in?? There’s also a lot of broad-leafed plants around—on the ceilings, on the wall, decorating the room. It all reminds me of the lush location where Simba grew up.

There seems to be both sinks and washing machines features in both of the washrooms we’ve seen so far. The sinks in Savanavlaw are an interesting shape and color; they make me think about the ends of bones, which are more bulbous and knobby… but I doubt the sinks are actual bone; more likely, it’s probably some kind of white stone.

Can’t wait to see the other washrooms 👀 We didn’t see Scarabia’s in Jamil’s Relaxing in Room card, so we’ll likely see in Kalim’s card allllllll the way in the summer.

I can already see it now… Diasomnia’s washroom looking like a medieval torture chamber to the average onlooker 😭

Vampire Malleus that sees you trembling through the ruins outside his territory. A shaky hand holding onto a heavy flashlight and the other wrapped tightly around your midriff. A pathetic form of protection, he muses.

Mortals tend to steer clear from his area. He wasn’t even sure when was the last time he saw one. Surely by your indecent way of dress, it's been quite a long time. Ah, how time flies when you're a creature of the night.

Vampire Malleus that follows you throughout the night. Always stepping out of sight everytime you squeak and flash your light in his direction. He could see the tiny tears pricking at your glossy eyes. Throughout his years, he’s seen fear plastered across the face of many and yet, something about yours has his dead heart thrumming in his cold chest. Maybe it’s your eyes, big and shaky, or your trembling lips that squeaks like a little mouse. Or perhaps, it's because you're just so pathetically human that it lights up his curiosity.

Faintly he could hear the sounds of other humans approaching the area. And suddenly, your fear has disappeared into relief. And Malleus’ serene smile twitches. His fun is over and soon you’ll disappear beyond his reach. It can’t be helped, Malleus sighs. For as fleeting as you were, you sure were entertaining.

And yet as your voice met your friends and you turned to face them, your foot slipped and you came tumbling down. Yelping as jagged rock embedded itself into your palms and exposed knees. You hissed in pain as you examined the blood that began to leak out your poor cuts, dripping and collecting into a puddle down below.

And just like that the smell of your blood has awoken the beast.

The moment your friends made it up the hill they fell down wordlessly. It didn’t even click in your brain what had happened. Eyes couldn’t even follow the large black blurr that seemingly flew down from the sky and picked off your friends one by one. Leaving them not a second for them to scream, not a second for them to feel an ounce of fear.

Shakely you called out for them. No response came, just the sway of the wind. Fear mounted you to your spot. You couldn’t see anything, couldn’t hear anything and the smell of blood, thick and metallic clung to your nose.

And that smell only became more apparent as a pair of sharp slender pale hands reached for you from the darkness. Twisting your head from the lifeless bodies of your friends to the glowing red eyes of a beast. Domineering, lustful. The beast gazed down at you with such ferocity, you were sure you were about to pass. Those hands, stained with the blood of your friends, trailed down to your bloodied hand and lifted it up to its mouth.

A forked tongue slithered from its mouth and slid across your open wound. And just like that, its eyes rolled back and closed, and it visibly shivered. Disgust thick with fear coated your throat at its reaction and your body fought to move. And yet, it’s hold on your wrist turned harsh, knife-like nails digging into the delicate skin of your wrist and you stilled.

Its eyes opened into narrowed slits. Lips parting into a pleased smirk, allowing you to see its long, sharp teeth. And with a voice, deep and smooth and seemingly human, it purred.

“What an interesting find…”

King Leona: They're fighting over your counterpart, dear. *kisses them on the cheek*

Dragon fae MC: Is that so?

Sebek: WHY DON'T THEY STOP THEM?!!

Idia: Ortho, what are the chances that Malleus will win?

Ortho: ...

Ortho: 45%, brother. And it's decreasing every minute.

Ace: Are you saying that crazy Malleus is stronger than Malleus-senpai?!

Idia: It could be possible. At this rate, we have to bail them out before things get worse.

Sebek: THAT IS AN OPTION ALL ALONG?!!

Idia: Wh-What? I only said that it would be better for Malleus to save the Prefect because he's the most OP among us.

Riddle: If it has been a choice, what are we still waiting for?

Kalim: Yes! We should go now!

Azul: Wait a moment. We need a plan.

Dragon fae MC: Hm. How disappointing. I was ready to see some blood.

King Leona: Now, now. You don't have to be disappointed about this.

Grim: D-Does that mean my hench-human can go home with us?

King Leona: Ah. That saint will decide.

Dragon fae MC: Yes. Dear, it's time for us to leave.

King Leona: I thought we would be staying until the wedding ends. Guess not.

*both of them disappear*

Grim: Mryah?

Saint Rook: Now, how should we decide about this? Hm? Hm?

Saint Rook: You two would be lovely grooms!

Malleus: G-Groom?

Yandere Malleus: Hunt, what are you trying to suggest?

Saint Rook: *smiles* I think you already know.

*Meanwhile*

MC: That Rook-

MC: HE SAID HE WAS GOING TO LET ME OUT OF HERE!

FD Vil: Patience. I'm still here.

MC: ...

MC: But you're not helping me to leave this cage.

FD Vil: Rook asked me to keep you company. Not to help you escape.

MC: *sad frowns*

MC: I'm hungry.

FD Vil: ...

FD Vil: I'll whip something up for you. Wait here.

MC: You're coming back, right?

FD Vil: Yes, yes.

MC: *whines* Vil...

FD Vil: Yes, I'm coming back with food.

Thoughts of Malleus towering over and leaning on a table while drafting his blueprints has me insane. 😩

He has to roll up his sleeves so he wouldn't leave pencil lead tracks all over his drafts. He has to tie up his hair because they'd get in the way otherwise. He's got to be serious because that's architecture we're talking about. Him drawing precise lines vertically, horizontally, without even needing a ruler... Chewing on his lower lip when he hits a snag on a particular detail.

And then glancing up because he hears the door opening; taking a moment to recognize you, before cracking a lopsided grin.

"Hey. Come, take a seat beside me while I finish this up quickly."

"Take your time. I like watching you work."

"Hmm. Then, what do you think of this building facade? I've been designing some structures that I think would complement this particular gargoyle rather nicely. Here are some sketches of them..."
