I was trying to decide who to vote for between you and @wereh0gz, but the decision is proving to be difficult. Would you kindly tell me more about your Freaks AU? Anything and everything you feel comfortable sharing about your impeccable story! And if you want some more specific questions I would like to ask these questions and I apologize in advance for the amount of them, your AU is just very intriguing. Feel free to take your time answering all of these:

Are all Echidnas Wood Nymphs / Dryads / Drus or is it just Knuckles? If it’s just Knuckles how did he get like that?

Did the Knuckles Clan still invoke the wrath of Chaos leaving Knuckles as the sole survivor?

Are characters like Omega, and Cream in the Freaks AU?

Are the Chaotix still detectives? If not, what do they do?

What are Zombies like? Do they eat brains like most Zombies in stories do or do they eat something else?

Is Silver also a Vegan Vampire?

Can Vampires also be satiated by Animal Blood or is it only Mobian / Tree Blood?

What are the pros and cons of drinking Mobian Blood vs Tree Blood?

1- Yes, all echidnas - from Knuckles' tribe - were Wood Nymphs.

2- Yes, and Knuckles still guards the Master Emerald at Angel Island.

3- Cream is in the AU!!! I just have yet to draw her, and shes a mundane. Not sure ig Omega will appear just yet.

4- The Chaotix are still detectives, think Kemono Jihen: they take care of supernatural incidents, sorta like vigilantes(is that the correct term? ^^") They're also family, Vector is the single dad of these two. lol

5- You got flesh-eating zombies... and then you have Gadget, who personally loves pastries. XD

6- Silver is learning about 'vampire veganism' with Espio.

7/8- Sort of, a sentiment's blood not only make them stronger but they're also well fed. Vegan vampires are weaker since they don't consume live blood.

9- Yes vampires are weak to sunlight, but it's mostly based on their diet. Those who drink live blood might get hurt real badly, and those who are vegan usually have way higher tolerance to sunlight just getting itchy.

10- Still reworking/revamping The Order

11- Demons are either sinners or born-demons. Demons can be summoned by mundanes, sinners cannot.

12- Surge and Kit are born demons, they got summoned by Starline.

13- Gaia is a single entity like a God, Iblis and Solaris do not exist in this story.

14- You don't need to kill the previous High Howler to become one, you can earn the title, it's not well known how to do so, but you must not have killed innocent people in order to earn it. Or you could be a High Howler's Heir and inherit the 'throne' when they die.

15- Still working on fairies, but they're mostly chill, being able to change between fairy form (tiny) and mobian form. Fairies have powers related to the elements/nature.

16- Fairies are supernaturals, Sticks just never took fairy form/'unlocked' her powers so she never figured out she was a fairy herself! XD

17- Morning Glory is currently trying to track down Mimic, since he's going around causing mayhem n all.

18- Amy's pack got 7 members, 2 of which are demons (Surge and Kitsunami). Eric is an omega, he's on his own, and Ashe is a mobian, he didn't get turned.

19- I shall talk about that soon... 👁️👁️

20- The person who ate it would probably die... or vomit it out. XD

You sat there completely bored, as you eyed your people all lined up millions lined up to give you gifts on the day you were born into this world.

It was a special day, yes, you were not fond of being dotted on, you couldn't stand it, you wanted to rip out your insides at the idea of being an icon and a trophy. They didn't think of you as some sort of actual being with feelings did they?

You don't know and you don't think that you ever will.

“Thank you for your protection Kemono of the Divine Beasts!”

“Thank you for your blessing!”

“Thank you!”

“Thank you!”

Many people lined up and said Thank you and left a gift over and over.

The gift giving was soon to an and you were quick to stand up from your divine throne.

Blonde hair was met in the corner of your eyes already knowing whom it is.

“Yes Dain what is it?”

“My lady sorry to intrude on your special day but there seems to be a mild intruder.”

Intruder?

That makes your ears perk up and your tail sway with curiosity and excitement.

“We will take care of-”

“Nonsense I'll do it, it will only be a minute.”

His face widened as he persisted.

“Nonsense my lady, someone of your caliber doesn't need to trivialize herself with such petty matters.”

You smiled at him causing him to easily get flustered.

“It is fine, please watch over everything until my return, yes?”

He quickly nodded his head, returning back stoic.

You took a step and your light strides and the soft pats of your feet echoed in the long halls of your castle.

Your long creamy white transparent train of your dress flowed down dragging on the floor as your top barely could hold your breasts together barely leaving any coverage.

The golden earrings and necklace and waist jewelry twinkling and jingling with each step.

Your bottom not leaving to any imagination either and they rose up along your plush thighs.

Your hair long and luxurious flowed due to the immense amount of power you were resonating.

Along with the fluffy pairs of ears and the thick long tail coming out from your body only made you stand out.

The hair pen you wore stood out making you fit for your title the goddess of the Divine Beasts.

You don't see anything nor sense anything either.

Your land took place high above in the sky all islands connect were floating ones so intruders were damn near impossible for any ordinary person.

Unless…

You heard a rumbling near some bushes.

Your ears perk up as you tilted your face up slightly to intake a few breaths of sniffs.

You walk steadily towards the noise, you peel the leaves back fast to spot nothing?

“Looking for me?”

Your eyes widen as you turn your head around in one swift motion.

Your brows furrowed as you took in what you were seeing.

A young man on the lean side with big bright turquoise eyes and his hair in two braids you noticed the hue blending in with the natural color of his hair.

He had a white Hoodie with huge wings protruding from his back.

You stepped back a bit observing his features and wondering what the next move should be.

“What do you think you're doing your trespassing?”

You said calm and firm.

But the boy seemed unphased by your statements

“Oh? I parton me it's just I've heard do much the rumors said a majestic beautiful being lived and ruled up here I couldn't help but look as the curious fellow I am.”

“And the rumors were right indeed.”

You scoffed.

“Listen I don't know where you came from but your little jests don't work on me now get before I'll have to move you myself.”

You stood your ground.

He walked closer to you, now having a better look he was maybe 2 inches shorter than you he didn't even seem like he was scared of you.

Most people would take one look and haul ass it probably takes less!

“Who are you?”

He smirked.

“Barbatos.”

The contents of these regions go as follows: 

Central.

At the bottom of the main island, Park Central can be described as an equivalent to Japan's Kanto Region, whereas its identically named capital stands as an answer to Tokyo. The region is known for its green, forested scenery, while the capital resembles a huge circular theme park surrounded by a large wall. With rides like Ferris wheels, structures like the Kemono Hospital, and attractions like the Japari Park Pavilion and vast Kemono Castle. This castle was once occupied by the original mobile game's antagonist, the Cellien Queen, resulting in destruction lasting until Kemono Friends 3.

According to the fan-site Japari Library, by the time of Kemono Friends 2, around Park Central was the Azura Park bamboo grove, the cruise-able coastal aquatic Marine Life Park, densely tree-covered Jungle Park with a nearby research lab, the scorching cactus-strewn tropical savanna South Maerica Park, and the whale-shaped Japari Hotel, all connected to the Japari Line monorail service, still under construction around early Kemono Friends 3.

Sankai Region.

Occasionally described as the Desert Area, Sankai is a part of the main island to the left of Park Central, acting as an equivalent to Japan's Kansai Region. The region is home to various sprawling caves and known for its harsh deserts. Notable locations include Oasis No. 1, the region's primary water source, and an expansive underground shopping mall called the Odyssey, where despair fell upon in Kemono Friends 3. during Kemono Friends 3. There was also a Japari Museum, which served as a warehouse.

Nakabe Region.

Occasionally described as the Waterfront, Nakabe is part of the main island above Park Central, acting as an equivalent to Japan's Chubu Region. The region is known for its swamped browns and greens. Notable locations include the renowned Amatatsu Waterfall and the nearby mechanized "Undine" water treatment plant in Serenity Jungle. It is most known for the extensive concert venue located inside the region.

Rikuhoku Region.

Little is known about the Rikuhoku Region, aside from being a part of the main island. On the map, Rikuhoku is located near green mountains.

An'in Region.

Occasionally described as the Jungle or Forest Area, An'in is the farthest left of the main island, acting as an equivalent to Japan's San-in Region. The region is known for its sometimes mountainous, other times densely forested, and infrequently open green jungle scenery. Notable locations include the vital An'in Ferry Terminal and the Japari Park Security and Research Team headquarters. In Season 3 of Kemono Friends 3, the ferry terminal is notable for being the site of the first long-term guest to Japari Park, Hikari.

Anyo Region.

Little is known about the Rikuhoku Region, aside from being a part of the main island. On the map, Anyo is located near An'in.

Hōtoku Region.

Occasionally described as the Sky Area, Hōtoku is the farthest right of the main island, acting as an equivalent to Japan's Tohoku Region. The region is known for its often cloudy, broad, and green high mountains. Notable locations include sites for holding sky races. It is frequently known as the Sea of Clouds by inhabitants and visitors alike.

Gokoku Region.

Gokoku is one of the closest of the smaller islands. It is located to the left of the mainland shores of the An'in Region, acting as an equivalent to Japan's Shikoku region. The region is known for its varied climates, sometimes mountainous, occasionally cavernous, and largely green scenery, with lush forests that were the most common in Kemono Friends 3. Notable locations include sites for art festivals, sites for producing independent films, and the presumed headquarters of the Japari Park Guard Team. Due to the archipelago's positioning, in Chapter 4 of Cellval's Campaign in Kemono Friends 3, it is presumably the site of the Chinatown-Esque Japari Night Market.

Kyōshū Region.

Directly below the island of Gokoku and the left mainland shores of the An'in Region, Kyōshū can be described as an equivalent to Japan's Kyūshū Region. During the time of the original mobile game, Kyōshū was well known for being a collection of mild grasslands. But by the time of the anime, Sandstar had morphed and split the region into at least ten to eleven or more distinct climates to surround the colossal Sandstar Volcano. Notable splits include the Savanna Area, Jungle Area, High Mountain Area, Desert Area, Waterfront, Plains Area, Forest Area, Snowy Mountains, Ocean Area, Tropics Area, and volcano outskirts.

Notable locations include the Savanna Area Mountaintop Watering Hole, Savanna Area Gate to the Jungle Area, Jungle Area Tour Walkaway, Jungle Area An'in Bridge, High Mountain Area Mountaintop Japari Café, Desert Area Underground Roadside Tunnel, Desert Area Underground Labyrinth, Waterfront Lake Shore, Plains Area Castle, and Dojo, Forest Area Japari Library, Waterfront Concert Venue, Snowy Mountain Hot Springs, the on the way from the Snowy Mountains Hinode Port Lodge, far-off Amusement Park, and finally the volcano itself. In Gen 2, a High Mountain Japari Cabin stood before the anime's Japari Café. The location of the original mobile game's is currently not recorded.

Akushima Region.

Directly to the right of the island region of Kyōshū and below the in-between of Park Central and the Sankai Region, not much is known about the Akushima Region. On the map, Akushima is the smallest island and has green scenery. In the original mobile game, there were some forests with large trees, a few mountains, and an open shore.

Riukiu Region.

To the lower left of the island of the Akushima Region and below the mainland shores of Park Central, the Riukiu Region can be described as an equivalent to Japan's Ryukyu Region. The region is known for its palm tree full climate and tropical sandy scenery. Notable locations include Riukiu Aquarium, the Starry Sky Data Library, a Japari Café, and the Shiserval Dojo. By at least Kemono Friends Festival, similar to Kyōshū, Riukiu is home to splits of its own. These eight are a Tropics Area, beach-filled Ocean Area, shipwreck scattered droughted Desert Area, Jungle Area, High Mountain Area, Lake Shore, Snowy Mountains Area, and Savanna Area.

Hokkai Region.

Occasionally described as the Snowfield Area, Hokkai is one of the closest of the smaller islands. To the right mainland shores of the Hōtoku Region, the Hokkai Region can be described as an equivalent to Japan's Hokkaido Region. The region is known for its harsh tundra climates with frozen-over huddles of water, scattered hot springs, and mountain scenery. Notable locations include the Tsubekuri Snowfield, various cabins, and one significant Hot Spring near a Sandstar Volcano.

"Yamato's right," said Deku. "I don't have a Devil Fruit, or Haki either."

Malice's eyes widened. He stared at Deku, straight into his eyes; doubled-over as he was. There was not a hint of fear, or of doubt. Not like before.

"Those hits from before were at thirty percent. Just to see what you were capable of. Right now, I'm hovering around... eighty percent."

Eighty... percent of his strength?!

And those eyes. They weren't innocent any more. Not the innocent eyes that had tormented him so. They were the eyes of a warrior, eyes that matched his form. They were eyes that had seen battle, and won through.

But for all that, all that power, he didn't have Haki. Not a hint of it. Not once did he sense it in his blows.

A cold, dark dread coursed through Malice's soul, his eyes widening in fear.

'If he... if he learns Haki...'

He saw it in his mind's eye. This green haired machine... flying up, charging towards the strongest creature in the heavens. Lord Kaido in his magnificent and awe-inspiring dragon form, a green thunderous hailstorm towards the azure dragon king.

'He... he could be a threat... to Lord Kaido!'

His anger flared again, rising to join his fear. He roared, his entire body coating itself in Haki, a dark emerald sheen. Full Body Armament! No holding back!

"I WON'T LET YOU WIN!" he shrieked. "YOU WON'T LEAVE THIS ISLAND ALIVE!"

He had to die! He could not be allowed to threaten Lord Kaido! If he did, it would all have been for nothing!

"Seimei Kikan! Bakuha! Full Armament! Tekkai Kemono Kenpo!"

His wounded body bulged, his fangs growing back, as his full power erupted.

"No, we'll be leaving this island together. All of us," replied Deku. "You included!"

Deku's body glowed. For a moment Malice was bewildered. What kind of dumb thing was that to say?

No! He was going to take him prisoner! Give him back to the Marines! Return him to the fate from which the Beast Pirates had accidentally rescued him!

The world was spinning, but Malice could only see one thing. Deku, hovering there, the man he had to kill.

"DIE!" he roared. "KAITEN!"

"Let me teach you something, Malice," replied Deku, with perfect calm. He reared back his hand, glowing with emerald light. "Let these words be seared into your memory forever! Villain!"

"SHINGEKIBIIIII!" Malice roared, and the blonde haired dinoman swung his tail as hard as he could.

With a yell, Deku backhanded him with his free hand. Malice fell back off balance, his body a mass of pain, his heart falling into the depths.

That was everything he had. He had split galleons in half with that power, smashed cliff faces, snapped Marine battleships like twigs!

And he had been backhanded…by that brat.

And Deku's glow grew brighter, blinding him a shining green star.

"Go further beyond!" Deku grasped his right hand, reared it back, gritting his teeth and stepping forward. "PLUS!"

And he struck him, right in the stomach.

"ULTRAAAAAAAAAAA!"

Malice was beyond pain. He could only feel himself moving, flying backwards, out and away, over the waters, soaring into the clouds.

And he knew no more.

Oricon Entry Position

“Sono Saki e” made it to #14 on its first day in the Daily Oricon Charts. That’s honestly lower than I expected, really not the best entry position (especially compared to Keiko who managed to reach #8 on the first day). This doesn’t bode well for the overall performance.

We get another longer interview with some interesting insight regarding “Sono Saki e”. Here are some of the highlights┗(•ˇ_ˇ•)―→

With this album, Wakana wants to provide solace for people who are in a dark place right now. Music should always bring light into your world.

Both “Asu wo Yume Mite Utau” as well as “Flag” contain the image of looking towards the future and hoping for a brighter tomorrow. Even though those songs were written long before her and Takebe came up with the final album concept, they fit perfectly into it. 

The album contains a transition between a strong sense of loneliness and slowly gaining hope, realising that you are not alone.

It was actually Takebe who suggested to add some darker elements to “Butterfly Dream”. It turned into a dark fantasy. Hidden withing the cute melody, there’s a muddy desire to possess something that is important to you. The point of view is quite delusional, borderline crazy

Wakana loves the “folk” and rock-ish sound of “Rapa Nui” and she had a blast singing in the language of Easter Island even though she wasn’t really sure how to pronounce most of the words. She tried to listen to more recent recordings of the language but it was still difficult to figure out the best way to sing those lines. The song is about facing your own weaknesses. It’s not always a bad thing to be by yourself. You can find strength in being alone.

“Shirushi” has a strong message of knowing that you always have someone by your side even if they are not physically there with you. Your very existence is proof that someone else has been there and touched your life. Just this thought can be reassurance enough. 

“Kibou” and “Kara” are both about finding light and hope within a dark world. You can be sure that the sun will rise again no matter what. 

Wakana would like us to compare “Tsubasa” and “Kara” since “Kara” is pretty much a sequel. It tell a story of how time has passed between those two songs. She talked with the lyricist about being afraid to trust people. The song is about having been betrayed and hurt in the past which makes you want to hide away and not interact with people anymore. You start to feel like you are completely alone but there comes a time when you realise that no, you are not in fact alone. You always have your friends and family by your side. With their support you have the strength to move forward. 

“KEMONO” is about not being afraid to be different in today’s world and to live your truth with pride. Wakana enjoys the jazzy feel of the piano, she thinks her singing and the piano playing almost sounds like an elaborate game of ping-pong.

“Sono Saki e” actually has the same message as “Ato Hitotsu”, just a little more profound. Finding joy in the small things in our daily lives

So for those not in the know, Disney's Party was a 2003 party game for the GameCube, developed by Neverland (known mainly for Lufia and Rune Factory) and published by EA. I sought this game out for ages after I saw it being advertised at Innoventions at Tomorrowland. The core premise is that Scrooge McDuck has opened a massive theme park across an archipelago of six themed islands, and the classic Disney cast are visiting and enjoying the park. The core gameplay loop is out of scope for this post, but it's meant to capture the experience of going around a theme park together with your family, visiting attractions (the mini-games) and buying souvenirs. The game's kinda mid from what I recall (my GameCube games are currently buried rn), but it has its charms.

The six playable characters are the classic Disney roster: Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisy, Goofy, and... Billy.

Since, y'know, Pluto's a (non-kemono) dog, so he can't really participate like that. So they made up a new character that's Mickey's friend that's a ghost living in a cardboard box to protect him from sunlight.

I always played as Billy since he's the orange character.

Last week I had a Dream about Aziraphale and Crowley having sex. Let me describe it. Where can I begin?? Well, they ware actual Aziraphale and Crowley, but more similar to Michael Sheen and David Tennant. They both were switches. And that was like feeling about "Summer Wars" and "Kemono no ko"... maybe more like "Paprika"... and like "Utena - the revolutionary girl". Yes, I am anime lover. So, what am I trying to tell?? There was not actual sex. That was more like total synchronicity and aether. It's like meditative orgasm that actually not about physical but it feels like also physical.

Aziraphale and Crowley were not naked. They were out of physical bodies. And it feels like so overwhelming happiness and weightless.

Example from "Utena". During the duel the swords were taken from chests of companions. Only companions can donate the swords for duelling characters and only dueling groups can step in the arena. Actually arena can be seeing only by people that were there. The "pure" and "naive" can't see it. I definitely love this metaphor of sex. Because everything feels like duel on the arena first finding right people. Also there is description of Love in "Utena" - loneliness and hundreds of Swords in total silence. But when Love is consensual - everything is changing and makes characters being free.

Okay, okay, watch it. Just do it. Manga is also awesome. Oh, my... I am supposed to talk about the Dream.

Well...

Let's take it from the cut off scene. Literally exists image of floating island with only bookshop (aka "Castle in the Sky"). And Crowley (I confess here, I never watched "Doctor Who", but I watched "Quantum Jump") appearing on the entrance of the bookshop from some kind of lightning door. Aziraphale is too emotional and trying to explain something. Crowley literally in pain and roaring to the wall.

Aziraphale: F@€k me!! You never listening!! The last time also.

Crowley: I am all ears now.

Aziraphale: "You are going too fast" and "What can I do for you in return"??

Crowley looks clueless.

Aziraphale: Really?? Oh my goodness!! Let me be straight... as much as I could be...

Crowley: You couldn't be straight. 'cause you aren't. I kissed you and your tongue "accidentally" fell in my mouth.

Aziraphale [the Marvelous mode]: That's why I am called Mr. Fell.

Crowley, taking off sunglasses, giggling: Wh??

Aziraphale, definitely happy: At least that makes you laugh.

Crowley looks like small monkey, pretty much confused and disconnected.

Aziraphale [already laying over Crowley and violently kissing]: "Now" means NOW!!

From this point the Dream becomes less physical. Probably because Aziraphale and Crowley are not humans. Because I remember to feel them both as the Energies. So limitless and out of comprehension. They were there, on that small floating island, and in the same Time they were the actual Beginning. Not alpha and omega. They were ALL possible Knowledge.

Crowley was crying at the end. Crying hysterically. Overloud of Emotions. Aziraphale was less loud, probably because their face was on the Crowley's chest.

Then everything was falling down. I was (probably) in another Dream.

The Moonlit Beast (月夜の獣,, Tsukiyo no kemono) gives Atsushi the ability to transform into a lifesize white tiger plush when hit by moonlight. This gives him tiger-like senses, he can also summon tiger-plush ears and a tail. It also gives him extreme restoration, he is even shown cutting of his own human limbs to restore them into tiger-plush limbs. Unlike Atsushi Nakajima, who has a similar ability, he retains control when transformed, however, he still doesn't retain memories from that state.

Blaire (Soul Eater). Decided against her because, while I like her, she's far more mainstream. I need to bring awareness to the more obscure Soul Eater characters

Zoologist (Terraria). Decided against her because… I'm NOT looking her up on Google for images (and I suggest you don't either, the internet LOVES her)

Island Fox (Kemono Friends). Decided against her because we already have a Kemono Friends RPer in this circle, and I don't want confusion with that

Senko (The Helpful Fox Senko-san). Decided against her because she's someone's muse in this circle. You know who you are, and you have good taste

Noëla (Drugstore in Another World: The Slow Life of a Cheat Pharmacist). She may be the favourite ever, but... and this is going to sound weird... I didn't use her because the manga isn't fully translated yet. Yeah, that's right.

Why the hell did I pick Kana? She... doesn't have many expressions that I'd need to screenshot. Less effort for me. Also, she's my favourite character from Soul Eater NOT!, and she's so obscure that I doubt anyone has her as a mun faceclaim.

Wild Hearts Update Adds Flaming Ape, Buffs Weapons, Dates Next Monster

The first major Wild Hearts update brings with it a blazing new Kemono and a corresponding talisman that grants players another addition to their roster of skills. The new patch for the monster hunting RPG game also includes some handy improvements to crafting and modification, along with a wide range of bug fixes and some balance changes including buffs for a number of Wild Hearts weapons. The new addition to the roster of Wild Hearts monsters is the terrifying Hellfire Laharback. This giant, flaming, ape-like beast looks like it might be a relative of the Lavaback family, and it’s currently terrifying the Natsukodachi Isle. If you’re able to take down this mighty beast, a new Infernal Blow talisman can be yours that increases the chance of setting your foes ablaze, as well as boosting the power of attacks against monsters that are on fire. There’s numerous weapon buffs included in the patch as well, with the Bladed Wagasa, the Maul, the Bow, the Nodachi, the Claw Blade, and the Karakuri Katana among those that see the most tangible improvements. The Karakuri Staff, however, has been dialled back a bit due to its iframes being too plentiful. In addition to this, you’ll now be able to look at your character’s full list of skills for all parts during armour creation, weapon creation, and armour modification, making it much easier to keep track of the build you’re putting together. Key bug fixes and tweaks include a fix for an issue that was preventing rewards from correctly being granted after certain fights against giant Kemono, and the removal of Karakuri that can contain food during a battle in Minato to ensure they aren’t accidentally destroyed. There’s also a whole wealth of individual bug fixes, so if you’ve been running into trouble be sure to check the full patch notes to see if it’s been addressed. The team also notes in an accompanying blog post that it’s “dedicated to Wild Hearts and we’ll be consistently working on making the gameplay experience better throughout this year.” It notes that the second Wild Hearts content update is due on March 23, when Grimstalker will arrive in Azuma along with new armour and weapons to be made after the fight.
