My body kicks its own ass everyday. I have arthritis, psoriasis patches, skin rashes, muscle decay, fatigue and I’m loosing my hair, eyebrows and eyelashes. All at the age of 26. I have no clue the damage it’s doing to my internal organs as I don’t have insurance. Kawasaki Disease hit my family in 2012. I thought the Dr. was joking! Kawasaki? And how did my baby get such a thing??? But it was real and he had it! My infant son fever was so high, his tongue was getting blisters*. His smooth brown skin quickly changed with red stains that caused him to cry with the slightest touch. Especially since it was the most active he would be. That was by far the 2nd scariest time of my life. To this day I still remember writing in my journal," Lord, don't take this child too!" On the morning of the Dr appointment. They didn't know what was happening. But they wanted to run more test at the hospital ASAP because his temperature was so high. As we traveled to the hospital to get checked in they were making plans for my baby as if we had no brains. At no time did they ask our opinion on anything. They were preparing for a blood transfusion, steroids and other experimental treatments on my then 18 month old baby. But here's the plot twist! Just when they thought our baby was going away for surgery, we stopped them and refused their treatment. We made space for our own research and our own treatment. Our oldest son and neice went to the local market to buy the anti-inflammatory produce and we had everything else in the room that we needed to heal our son over the next 36* hours in his hospital room. Of course the Dr didn't like it. But that wasn't his child. And I rather offend them than loose another child anyday. In the end, my message to you parents that may come in contact with this disease (or any other catastrophe regarding your child) . Educate yourself and do what makes the best sense for your child. πŸ’ž #kawasakidisease #kawasaki #Mamashealing #covid19 #bromelain #water #healthyself (at Charlotte, North Carolina) https://www.instagram.com/p/CAbsqpUBd2U/?igshid=1sp0h1vtzet09

Eight-Month-Old Baby Dies of Coronavirus-Linked Kawasaki Disease
A baby aged eight months has been the youngest confirmed target of Kawasaki Disease in Britain, the unusual infancy disease related to coronavirus. After coming down with a rash that looked like sunburn, high fever and swollen lymph nodes, Alexander Parsons died in his mom's arms. He went on to experience extreme sickness and turned red in his hands and foot soles. His parents suspect that his illness may be linked with the coronavirus pandemic, with thousands of other children in the UK developing a similar inflammatory disease. Alex was admitted to Derriford Hospital in Plymouth on April 6, and the day after he was diagnosed with Kawasaki disease. He was taken to Bristol Royal Hospital for Children where a scan revealed coronary aneurysms, fluid, and enlarged arteries, as his situation became more severe. He died on April 26. Kathryn Rowlands, 29, Alex's mum told: 'I cannot believe I have been holding him for longer than he has been alive. I do not want to be whole again. 'The doctors and nurses who fought to save Alex were amazing-but if they knew more about the Covid-Kawasaki connection, they might have done more. 'The government needs to investigate the Covid-Kawasaki link to get the facts out there, instead of keeping it secret. 'The fact on June 1 that they want kids back in schools is nuts. A JustGiving page set up to raise funds for the family including a memorial to Alex has raised nearly Β£10,000 so far. It states Alex tested negative on Covid-19 when he was given swabs. And in children infected with the coronavirus pandemic, physicians have expressed questions of an inflammatory illness. A Kawasaki-like disease related to coronavirus is believed to have infected up to 100 children in the UK. Professor Russell Viner, president of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health, said there were '75 to 100β€² cases around the country on Thursday. A 14-year-old boy who is treated at Evelina London Children's Hospital with no underlying health conditions is thought to be the first British child to die of the syndrome. Prof Viner told the Today program of BBC Radio 4 that it tends to occur after a child has been infected with Covid-19 and is the 'immune system of the body' that overreacts to coronavirus.' He said parents should be aware of the disease but they need not worry. β€˜We can count the number of children that have died with coronavirus on the fingers of two hands, compared to over 30,000 in adults. And that tells us most of what we need to know,’ he said.
Tumblr media
β€˜This is a new syndrome. It appears to be happening mostly after coronavirus infection, we believe it’s where the body’s immune system overreacts to coronavirus.’ The key symptoms of the disease are a high and persistent fever and a rash, although some children may suffer stomach pain and gastrointestinal issues, according to Prof Viner. He said that although some patients needed intensive care, others responded to treatment and are improving and beginning to go home. The condition is said to be similar to Kawasaki disease, with symptoms including high fever, rashes, swelling, and a toxic shock reaction. Prof Viner noted that cases appear to 'decline' as the number of Covid-19 infections in adults decreases. Three children die in New York for suspicious symptoms linked with COVID
Tumblr media
In New York, Three children have been died on Saturday due to Kawasaki diseases. At least 73 children in New York have affected with similar symptoms to Kawasaki diseases. The Kawasaki disease symptoms are fever and rashes and red-eye and red lips. It is one of the most common vascular diseases of childhood. Three children die in New York for suspicious symptoms of COVID-19. The reason a number of people have been talking about Kawasaki disease and associating it with COVID-19 because in the past week children all have spread the disease among them. Kawasaki was named after Dr. Thomas Kawasaki who first described the illness in 1967.
What is Kawasaki disease?
Kawasaki disease is an inflammatory vascular disease of unknown origin that occurs primarily to the children and can affect the heart vessel. However, the scientist wasn’t able to find the exact cause for Kawasaki disease, it is still unknown. Usually, the disease is more affected by the ages of 2-5 years old. For taking immediate action of the positive cases, Hospitals in New York are now reporting any cases to the state’s health department. The Governor of New York said that from now none of the parents will take comfort in the knowledge that their children are safe from the virus. Children in New York City, Los Angeles, Chicago and areas of New Jersey are coming down with a symptoms that look like Kawasaki disease. https://t.co/F2DzN4m5l9β€” USA TODAY (@USATODAY) May 8, 2020
What are the Symptoms?
Three children die in New York for suspicious symptoms linked with COVID. The Kawasaki symptoms syndrome is connected with fever, skin rashes, swelling of glands. The most dangerous is the inflammation of the arteries of the heart.
How Kawasaki symptoms different from Corona virus symptoms?
There are some slight changes in both of the symptoms. Both have swollen lips and tongue goes red, as well as fever and rashes. The corona patients additionally have kidney inflammation, abdominal pain, and diarrhea. Three children die in New York for suspicious symptoms.
Is Kawasaki disease contagious?
Besides Coronavirus, Kawasaki is not a contagious disease, which is a great sigh of relief in some cases. But there’s no test found by the doctor till now.
Can adults get Kawasaki disease?
According to the US Department of Health and Human Services, older children and adults can get the disease but, the more risk is for children younger than 5. All the cases of Kawasaki had come from early this week and mostly there are children between the ages of 2 and 15 who have found symptoms similar to Kawasaki Disease which include toxic shock syndrome, including a persistent fever, rash, abdominal pain, vomiting or diarrhea. The world is fighting the coronavirus, China is undergoing new moves, heavy pressure has been put on small countries When the world is fighting the global epidemic of coronavirus, China is putting pressure on small countries. According to media reports, China has increased its patrolling in the South China Sea. They have deployed military forces on the South China Sea. Except for a few countries, little has said about the aggression of the Chinese military. A report said that Vietnam is close to negotiating an international arbitration case and the South China Sea dispute. Last year, Vietnam's Diplomatic Academy hosted a conference on South China Sea. The Deputy Foreign Minister of Vietnam raised the issue of an international case for the first time in nearly five years. However since then, Vietnam has been getting along with China. Recently, China announced a ban on fishing in the South China Sea by August. However, Vietnam refused to accept that decision, citing China's order as one-sided. Indonesia also stands with China. After three Indonesian sailors killed, Indonesia summoned the Chinese ambassador. This has come to the fore when he mistreated and exploited by the people of China. On the other hand, Taiwan, considered a weak province in the eyes of China, has repeatedly told about the epidemic response to Beijing. Coronavirus has revealed a lack of leadership on the global stage. China is trying to make its way to the center of the world order. When the G20 summit took place, world leaders had a chance to oust China, but they did not do so. Read the full article

Experts on Alert for Cases of Kawasaki Disease in Australian Children
Tumblr media
A pediatric infectious diseases specialist has warned Australia is likely to see cases of inflammatory disease - Kawasaki Disease - in some COVID-19 children following reports of rising numbers of cases overseas. The disease, called PIMS-TS and identical to the rare Kawasaki disease, was reported in 73 children and teens in the U.S. state of New York, and resulted in three deaths. It is also reported in kids in the UK. Pediatric infectious disease expert Professor Robert Booy of Sydney University said he believes that Australia may have cases of this new syndrome. "We will see them in my new opinion but in small numbers," he stated. Leaked minutes from an Australia's leading medical expert panel meeting, seen by The Sydney Morning Herald and The Age, Chief Medical Officer Brendan Murphy sought advice from pediatric specialists on Kawasaki disease ahead of Friday's national cabinet meeting. The Australian Health Protection Principal Committee minutes also outlined concerns from chief health officers that the society is now reducing social distancing policies beyond what is acceptable. "Have to keep messaging that personal responsibility is key," the minutes stated. Speaking at the COVID-19 senate inquiry on Wednesday morning, Professor Murphy said he does not believe that the PIMS-TS disease was going to become a concern here. β€œBecause it's so rare it's unlikely to be seen in Australia, but obviously we've got alerts on us and we're clearly watching it,” he stated. Professor Murphy said high numbers in New York would possibly be a reflection of the fact that COVID-19 had several thousand children there. By contrast there were almost 7000 cases of COVID-19 in Australia, and fewer than 100 in children under 10 years of age.
Tumblr media
Deputy Chief Medical Officer Professor Paul Kelly said the latest PIMS-TS has been identified with large numbers of COVID-19 cases in other countries but has not yet occurred in Australia. "So far there's been no known increase in Kawasaki in Australia, and no cases of this PIMS-TS," he said on Wednesday afternoon. Dr. Kerry Chant, NSW Chief Health Officer, said the pediatric hospitals in the country were working together and set up a monitoring program to search for possible disease cases. There has been no cause for alarm so far, she said. Professor Booy said scientists were trying to find out whether the disease was related to COVID-19-or if it was related to coronavirus at all. β€œThis may be an inflammatory reaction that occurs after you recover from COVID - your body sets up this inflammation where it causes rashes, heart blood vessel damage and the like,” he stated. He stated another possible explanation is the new illness is β€œnothing to do with COVID”. Although it is uncertain if the current extreme immune response syndrome is classic or a different version of Kawasaki disease, Professor Booy said there is an existing successful treatment that includes providing intravenous antibodies to children. "It works against Kawasaki, I suspect it will work for this too," he stated. Do not forget leaving your valuable comment on this piece of writing and sharing with your near and dear ones.
