It looks so good! All the details. *_* I think the library might be my favorite, but it's hard to choose! And I'm also interested in how you plan to handle the university thing.

Thank you both! This fake uni system really isn't that interesting haha, but here's how it's supposed to work.

The lot for one is uh more or less literally hidden:

This corner of the world needed a gas station anyway.

It's a residential lot where I'll move any sims that go to the university. They'll live here for one whole season, during which they'll be absent from the main hood.

(It'll actually be a little more than one season as I'll move them right at the end of playing their household, so from the other household's perspective they'll be away for the remaining season too, and then the next one in full – dunno if this explanation makes sense.)

While they're on this lot, I'll give them a trait or a token that stops them from showing up as walkbys or on community lots. I think there's a mod for the loner trait already that works like that.

And then I just play this lot normally as a part of the rotation, only not documenting it and focusing on skill building. So they get some benefit out of it, in addition to being able to choose careers that need a degree in the future.

I have been absolutely blown away by the response to this post. While I post my Sims pics to give others a glimpse in to my game, it is awesome to get such great feedback.

And @anachronisims- Yes, these 'hoods are mostly boulders. the regular Maxis sized ones, plus larger and smaller ones, and Sophie-David's Neighborhood Volcanoes. There is a bunch of other deco used, but I went a bit wild with the rocks. I wanted there to be consistency with the neighborhoods, like you know they are from the same world, but all have individual seasonal patterns, biomes, races and flora/fauna.

Would you be interested in making over the university neighbourhoods? Or at least, safely populating Katatty's makeovers with the original Sims?

Not to makeover (I have been deeply involved in modding a different game lately) but I will look at Katatty's and see what putting the original Sims in would involve. I think it should be easy but you never know with Sims!

Before we'll start the next round I just wanted to let you guys know that I revised my Downloads folder. I threw a lot of stuff out (and added a ton as well. 😅) The Sims and houses won't look any different, don't worry. I also integrated the TS3 Traits Project for TS2 into my game. Now, as we go round, I'll add traits to the different Uberhood Sims. Thank you so much for commenting, liking and sharing your thoughts with me. It means a lot to me and yeah, just thanks. 😊

My Nekojima sims are for some reason autonomously flirting with each other (and no, I don't have any mods that allows it). Saiun Watanabe flirted with Kunisada Utagawa while at work, and Lin Mori flirted with Yuki Okido while Yoshiku Utagawa is unrequitedly in love with her (and they aren't even friends in my game, so she usually rejects his advances). Yoshitoshi got mad at her when she saw her flirting with Yuki! I usually don't like when my sims go against the story I have planned for them, but hey, this adds spiciness! Oh, and Lin's late husband's spirit keeps haunting their house.

You know, I always describe Nekojima as a dating simulator when I talk to people about it (a well-appointed universe that you can keep making new, casual playthrough saves for) and I'm positive those vibes are somehow infecting your game. I'm so sorry, but it does sounds like the fun kind of chaos.

Did I spend my entire COVID quarantine rebuilding and mapping out my BACC town instead of resting? Yes, yes I did and I'm pretty satisfied with how it turned out. 🥰

Got inspired (though it'll never be at the level of her hood) by watching @katatty's Spruceburg Prosperity Challenge on YouTube. (Which you absolutely need to watch here! x)

I know it's an old post but I just had to say! This looks really stunning! <3

It’s finished, kind of! (I actually didn’t finish decorating the campsite & there’s space for a small farm, but shhhh.) I spent the entire weekend on this damn hood, barely eating or sleeping. My wrist is killing me from placing trees, but I’m really happy with the result :D

Now I just have to build the lots… :(
