I have a new radio show on humboldthotair.org every Friday from 9-10am, tune in to “When You Can’t Find a Friend” live or on the archive, I’m so glad to be able to introduce y’all to some new old friends. The first several weeks I’ll be sharing some faves/essential/signature mixes, before expanding out into lots of new playlists that have been coming together while digging through my old itunes archive that explore a variety of themes and concepts I’m very excited to put out there. All human curation, zero alg0, sounds of lots of landscapes around the world in between. Thanks to @humboldt_hot_air for giving me a slot. “When You Can't Find a Friend is a weekly mixtape that delves into an archive of new and old favorites, exploring different themes and new connections across musical time and space. Discover a magpie mix of diverse genres and eras, including Americana roots and folksy singer songwriters, old school swing and classic rhythm and blues, indie rock and alternative pop, along with beloved local artists, the "unclassifiable," and the sounds of our natural world. Tune in on Friday mornings from 9-10am and get to know some new old friends, because when you can't find a friend, you still got the radio.” RIP KHSU, long live humboldthotair.org! 📻💖

[TASK 150: HAITI]
In celebration of Caribbean American Heritage Month, here’s a masterlist below compiled of over 640+ Haitian faceclaims categorised by gender with their occupation and ethnicity denoted if there was a reliable source. If you want an extra challenge use random.org to pick a random number! Of course everything listed below are just suggestions and you can pick whichever faceclaim or whichever project you desire.
Any questions can be sent here and all tutorials have been linked below the cut for ease of access! REMEMBER to tag your resources with #TASKSWEEKLY and we will reblog them onto the main! This task can be tagged with whatever you want but if you want us to see it please be sure that our tag is the first five tags, @ mention us or send us a messaging linking us to your post!
THE TASK - scroll down for FC’s!
STEP 1: Decide on a FC you wish to create resources for! You can always do more than one but who are you starting with? There are links to masterlists you can use in order to find them and if you want help, just send us a message and we can pick one for you at random!
STEP 2: Pick what you want to create! You can obviously do more than one thing, but what do you want to start off with? Screencaps, RP icons, GIF packs, masterlists, PNG’s, fancasts, alternative FC’s - LITERALLY anything you desire!
STEP 3: Look back on tasks that we have created previously for tutorials on the thing you are creating unless you have whatever it is you are doing mastered - then of course feel free to just get on and do it. :)
STEP 4: Upload and tag with #TASKSWEEKLY! If you didn’t use your own screencaps/images make sure to credit where you got them from as we will not reblog packs which do not credit caps or original gifs from the original maker.
THINGS YOU CAN MAKE FOR THIS TASK - examples are linked!
Stumped for ideas? Maybe make a masterlist or graphic of your favourite faceclaims. A masterlist of names. Plot ideas or screencaps from a music video preformed by an artist. Masterlist of quotes and lyrics that can be used for starters, thread titles or tags. Guides on culture and customs.
Screencaps
RP icons [of all sizes]
Gif Pack [maybe gif icons if you wish]

MEN-TEL /20

Texte 310 - An International Artist DNA
So you like Moonshine, m’avait-il dit. What is this? What you drink! It is a Vietnamese Moonshine. You! So cute! Oh! La! La! Oh Yes! You love your mum, isn’t it? I deposited skin fat! Beurk! Oh! But it is my DNA! An international Artist DNA! Sera-t-elle basée à New York? Los Angeles? Londres? Paris? Adieu. RIP.

'Indiana Jones 5' delayed again, until 2021
LOS ANGELES (Reuters) – Harrison Ford’s big screen return as adventurer Indiana Jones has been pushed back until 2021, Walt Disney Co announced on Tuesday, two years after the fifth movie in the action franchise was first scheduled to be released.
FILE PHOTO: Photographers are reflected in the glasses of cast member Harrison Ford during a photocall for the film “Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull” by U.S. director Steven Spielberg at the 61st Cannes Film Festival in Cannes, France, May 18, 2008. REUTERS/Eric Gaillard/File Photo
The film was originally scheduled for release in 2019 but that date was later pushed back to 2020. The new delay follows reports last week in Hollywood industry publications that the script had not been finished and that a new writer was being brought in to polish it. Disney did not immediately return a request for comment on Tuesday on the delay.
The film will reunite Ford with director Stephen Spielberg in the “Indiana Jones” franchise created by filmmaker George Lucas, that has grossed nearly $2 billion at the world box office with four films and amassed a global fan base. Disney said in 2016 that it was going ahead with a fifth installment.
The delay means Ford will be 79 when he appears as the Fedora-wearing archeologist in theaters. His age has been a running theme in the films since an often-quoted exchange in the first movie, “Raiders of the Lost Ark” in 1981.
Karen Allen, playing Jones’s love interest Marion, says “You’re not the man I knew 10 years ago” and Ford responds with a line that has since become famous: “It’s not the years, honey, it’s the mileage.”
Spielberg also has a slate of other projects he is currently working on, including a remake of musical “West Side Story” and religion drama “The Kidnapping of Edgardo Mortara.”
The as yet untitled fifth “Indiana Jones” film will come 13 years after “Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull,” in which Ford’s Jones reunited with his former love Marion, again played by Allen, and discovered he had a grown son, Mutt Williams (Shia LaBeouf). The film received mixed reviews.
Ford’s most recent movie appearances were in last year’s “Blade Runner 2049” and “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” when he reprised his role as swash-buckling adventurer Han Solo. The 2015 film went on to take more than $2 billion at the global box office and become the third biggest release of all time.

Nadal eases into Barcelona quarters, Dimitrov edges Jaziri
BARCELONA (Reuters) – World number one Rafael Nadal eased into the Barcelona Open quarter-finals after dispatching compatriot Guillermo Garcia-Lopez 6-1 6-3 and winning a record-extending 40th consecutive set on clay.
FILE PHOTO: Tennis – ATP – Monte Carlo Masters – Monte-Carlo Country Club, Monte Carlo, Monaco – April 22, 2018 Spain’s Rafael Nadal in action during the final match against Japan’s Kei Nishikori REUTERS/Eric Gaillard
The top seed, who has won the tournament 10 times, will meet Slovak Martin Klizan, who had dumped Novak Djokovic out in the second round, on Friday after powering past Garcia-Lopez in a quick-fire first set.
He raced into a 4-1 lead in the second but was slowed down when he surrendered his serve, although he soon broke back to finish off his opponent.
“When I was 4-1 a set up I lost a little intensity but in general I played well,” Nadal told a news conference.
“I felt good from the start, playing with more intensity than yesterday and playing with more ease and comfort in every sense.”
Second seed Grigor Dimitrov survived an almighty scare against outsider Malek Jaziri to edge into the last eight, beating the Tunisian 7-5 3-6 7-6(8) following a nail-biting tiebreak.
Jaziri, ranked 88th in the world, hit back after surrendering the first set to comfortably take the second and he looked poised to cause the latest high-profile exit in Barcelona after Djokovic’s defeat and Kei Nishikori’s withdrawal through injury when he went 4-2 up against the second seed in the third.
FILE PHOTO: Tennis – ATP – Monte Carlo Masters – Monte-Carlo Country Club, Monte Carlo, Monaco – April 21, 2018 Bulgaria’s Grigor Dimitrov in action during his semi-final match against Spain’s Rafael Nadal REUTERS/Eric Gaillard
Bulgarian Dimitrov came back to level at 5-5 but was under pressure in the 12th game, before holding on to force the tiebreak.
He finally ended Jaziri’s resistance on his fourth match point when the Tunisian found the net to end a match lasting two hours 49 minutes.
Dimitrov will meet Spaniard Pablo Carreno Busta, who beat Frenchman Adrian Mannarino 6-2 4-6 7-6 (8-6) in an another thrilling three-setter that had fans on the Rafael Nadal court watching the world number one turning their heads towards the action unfolding on the adjacent Court One.
Carreno Busta is ranked 11th in the world to Mannarino’s 27th but after blitzing the first set he succumbed in the second and survived a match point to take a delicately-poised tiebreak.
Klizan beat Spaniard Feliciano Lopez 6-1 6-4 to set up his meeting with Nadal while last year’s runner-up Dominic Thiem also made the last eight, beating Jozef Kovalik of Slovakia 7-6 6-2.
Thiem will meet Greek Stefanos Tsitsipas, who knocked out Spaniard Albert Ramos Vinolas 6-4 7-5.
Belgian David Goffin beat Russian Karen Khachanov 6-2 7-6(2) 6-0 to set up a clash with Spaniard Roberto Bautista Agut, who beat compatriot Pablo Andujar 6-4 6-1.
