I saw Sammy has heart worm which…is bad. If you have any vet colleges near by, you can sometimes get discounted meds to have students learn how to properly prescribe, and dose the meds. Or local animal shelters for finance options. You can also ask your vet if they can help with payment plans.

Over counter doesn’t usually work for treatment, only prevention sadly. Keeping him fairly calm is best to keep him healthier for now. The worms are causing issues, and while dogs can survive chronic heart worms, they will have to be calmer, less running and rough play.

Though I do suggest you go hard on hookworms as they can cause many issues! Dehydration, and weight loss is the worst, as well as red blood cell loss. The problem is the meds only kill ADULT worms, so you have to redose every few days to truly get rid of them.

I wish the best for Sammy! I know he is loved, and cared for, and that’s all a vet can ask for for their patient. Give him a pat for me!

Thank you so much for telling me this! The meds they offered were either OTC or a few months of tests and treatments, and it wasn't cheap either way, but I don't trust OTC meds for something as serious as this. He's been resting! Just chewing on his treats and slopping around sleeping! So It's good to know to keep him low activity for a while until this is all figured out! Im a little (a lot) torn up about it all. I rescued him on my own three years ago and he's been such a big help to me, and I couldn't even be well enough off to provide for him like he needed. I know it isn't my fault, heart worms are carried by mosquitos and such, but I still wish I had more resources back then to keep him healthy. Good news is, he's being cared for now! I'm just worried about costs and the jobs not calling back, as well as his condition getting worse. But I have more hope! I know this is all a ramble, sorry, (yall know me by now, certified yapper) TL;DR thank you, this helped me with some worry keeping me up the past few days, and I have hope Sammy will get better quick and is gonna be ok!

I have a question for anyone who’s been to a ritual and made kandi to hand out— I’m doing it for the first time and it’s also my first ritual— how do I give them out? :0

I know I’ve seen videos of people doing it at festivals but I’m not sure if it’s the same for rituals. I’m a little anxious about not knowing, and would appreciate any advice or tips on interacting with others and handing them out.

(Also do you randomly just hand them out? Or do you see someone and ‘go oooo I think this person is cool’, and then ask them if they want one?)

❗️ Actor Jes Jespipat was announced as the replacement for Build Jakapan in the upcoming Be On Cloud BL 4 Minutes. B. previously withdrew from the project after a defamation lawsuit involving him and his ex girlfriend in 2023. The project is now in production and will likely air towards the end of the year.

❗️ Actor Maiake Kandis announced his withdrawal from the upcoming BL Red Peafowl. He was originally cast as one of the leads, being paired with Dollar Patchara. He later came forward saying his statement was fake news and that he is in fact not withdrawing. He also said he does not know if or when the production will start.

❗️ Former GMMTV actor Fluke Pusit (The Shipper, The Warp Effect) was announced as the lead actor in the upcoming BL Your Dear Daddy. He will star alongside Poonpun Jitaboon, an air date is unknown.

❗️ Domundi actors TutorYim (Cutie Pie, Middlemans Love) were announced as the leads in the upcoming BL Battle of the Writers. The show will be produced by Hydroindus Entertainment and is based on the Chinese novel "The Great Battle of Games". The full cast was announced on March 9th; an airdate as well as further information on the show is unknown.

❗️ Lay Talay and Perth Nakhun (My Engineer) reunited for a mini series called Your Tie is Crooked, consisting of 3 episodes à 2 minutes. It was released on the Japanese streaming platform TVer on March 11th.

❗️ The premiere of the upcoming BL Wuju Bakery has been postponed to September. It was originally scheduled to air in March, though due to an increase of the episode length and general production upscaling, the original air date is no longer realizable, according to the production.

❗️ Actor Yoon Phusanu revealed that he has left his management under Y Entertainment, following a dispute about his appearance in the 2023 Thai BL For Him. Main actors Dew N. and Tor A. later disclosed that they also encountered the issue of not receiving payment for their work from the company, along with accusations of se*ual assault from members of the production team. In an official statement Y Entertainment clarified they would transfer the actor's salaries as soon as possible.

some fun therian stuff to do

journaling or scrapbooking about your thoughts, feelings, and experiences as a therian. lmk if you want me to make a post going more in depth abt this

yarn tails!! their are many ways to do this, i like to look for tutorials on pinterest

decorate old clothing you don't use anymore with stuff that reminds you of your kin type. ex: i like to distress old clothes and use fabric paint or markers to add stuff such as pawprints, sketches resembling canines, canine puns, etc. i can also go more in depth if you want

make arm warmers with toe beans! there are plenty of tutorials for arm warmers made from socks and sweater sleeves, i suggest following those. for the toe beans you could simply draw them on or paint them using fabric markers or paint. a sharpie might work too. or!! you could use stuffing and some extra fabric to make 3d toe beans. also foam! lmk if you want more ideas for the toe beans or a tutorial on how i do it

decorate your collars! add pins, patches, charms, etc

decorate your food bowl using paint

sew simple fabric ears or clip on ears to a hoodie

go for walks in areas that remind you of your element and identify the plants and creatures around. i like to use books and apps for this

make nature potions! get mason jars and just have fun adding various stuff such as grass, rocks, mud, etc.

make embroidery bracelets or kandi bracelets! add little charms or lettering to them centered around therian stuff. i have some kandi bracelets that say stuff such as "woof" on them :) i also make embroidery bracelets with colors reminding me of my kintypes and element

make a kandi collar!!

decorate a simple backpack with markers!! add some fabric ears at the top or add a little yarn tail. i also love to make patches and pins :) charms are fun as well. just go ham!

paint or sketch pictures of your kintype(s). how you imagine yourself looking, etc.
