#Kakashi is a badass

Okay, a few more things now that I’ve sat down and ATTEMPTED to watch Boruto. Is it just me, or does that show have terrible writing? I mean, it’s pretty bad and I guess another failing point for it in my own opinion is that Kakashi is barely in it. Boruto himself is also way more annoying to me than even Naruto.

I have nothing against the guy but honestly, I think Shikamaru’s supposed intelligence is largely overhyped. I know they have other characters, including Kakashi himself who is toted as a once in a generation Genius, state that he’s smarter than everyone, etc etc, but I haven’t really seen anything that Shikamaru can do in terms of genius that cannot be easily replicated by other smart people like say Kakashi or even Sasuke. I don’t think making him the Eighth Hokage either was the right call but… what do I know. Yes, he was Naruto’s right hand, 2nd in command and was probably the only choice but that’s just my opinion. It also continues the trend of current Hokage connected to previous Hokages because his teacher was the son of the Third.

Back to Kakashi, it is super nice to know that I was apparently wrong during my last rant. It is established by words, but not shown, that he is currently even stronger now than he was during the fourth Shinobi war.

I can see why Kishimoto had to take away the Sharingan after the final battle because with it at that point, DMS Kakashi was WAY overpowered. He was effectively more powerful than almost every other character in the verse. Understandable about the loss but it still sucks. Kakashi also doesn’t get acknowledged for this feat either, with so many people gushing over ‘how powerful Obito should have been’ instead. Uhhhh… not really. Obito doesn’t have Kakashi’s abilities or power either, which would have been needed to reach the level that DMS Kakashi had. This was pretty much them together.

People are so quick to discredit Kakashi, even stating that he should not have even been made Hokage. What? He was one of the stronger Hokages in my opinion, and did a LOT for Konoha during his tenure, the least of is establishing peace and managing to hold it, actually fulfilling what the First wanted, even preventing an attempt to start another war, until Naruto takes the mantle(of which then the peace fails of course because Naruto must be a war-time Kage). “Kakashi didn’t establish peace, Naruto did!” Yes and no. There were three people(kinda four if one counts Sakura) involved in that battle. NOT just Naruto.

Rant Number …… who knows

Another unpopular opinion here, I’m assuming.

So I recently got back on the Naruto train again after my latest break as I have done several times over the years. And as an adult, a few things jumped at me more than when I enjoyed this in my younger years and refused to be silenced.

1.) Naruto is very pointlessly OVERpowered to a STUPID degree. I mean, I get it, he’s the protagonist but with him around, everyone else just needs to retire from/not even train to become a Shinobi because he’s there. Oh, “at least they took away his God-Mode after the war”. Well, yeah. The least they could do. Him being the protagonist also sucks for me because I find a lot of his mannerisms really annoying. “Talk-no-Jutsu” is stupid too, like did NO ONE else ever consider that? No? It only works because it’s the protagonist, got it. Do NOT get me started on the fact that during Part 1, Naruto is basically between 12 and 13 years old and he had already created a jutsu that turns him into a sexy naked girl. God, I don’t even want to know why he thought of that. Even if it’s possibly Jiraiya’s influence, that’s almost even more disturbing.

2.) I don’t get everyone being so terrified of Itachi. He’s one of my favourite characters, not gonna lie, but people clearly more powerful than him are scared of him. Why? Seems the most consistent reason is the creators have a hard-on for either the Uchiha Clan or just Itachi in general. He definitely is a highly ranked ninja, no doubt but come on.

3.) Kakashi was nerfed at the end to to a large degree. And he’s my #1 favourite character so this annoyed the ever-loving hell out of me. I’d think losing the Sharingan like that should have actually AMPLIFIED his chakra reserves now that this almost parasitical thing isn’t constantly draining him anymore but nope! Can’t have him be MORE cooler and badass than the story’s central character! Even though he already is, let’s get real. I mean, his father was confirmed to be on the same level(if not higher than) the ‘legendary’ Sannin in terms of power so why stunt Kakashi like this? To make the new generation look better and more powerful than they are. (Same deal with Gai, honestly. At least he got to go out by handing Madara his own hind quarters.) Skipping over the 10-15 years Kakashi served as Hokage just so they could rush into Naruto’s bugged me too. Who else wishes we got a FULL series of Kakashi Gaiden? So many missed opportunities.

4.) Apparently any kid who has dreams of becoming the Hokage but doesn’t have a link to or is related to previous Hokages can just forget it. I noticed this before but Imma post it for old time’s sake. I mean seriously…

First/Second: Brothers

Third: trained by the previous

Fourth: Student of the Third’s student and only because said student didn’t want the position

Fifth: Descended from First and trained by Third

Sixth: trained by Fourth

Seventh: Son of Fourth, ‘distantly related’ to Fifth(overpowered much) and trained by Sixth

And now it seems people are of the opinion that the eighth Kage could be Sarutobi’s grandson, Naruto’s kid or Sasuke/Sakura’s kid with a few others tossed in. I wonder why every kid in the Academy isn’t fighting tooth and nail to get onto any possible “Team 7” since that seems to be the lucky one if you want to progress in Shinobi politics.

no because the prophecy child/great evil as minato’s reason for sealing the kyuubi into his newborn is so much more boring compared to the other reason he gave which is that it was his duty. kushina begged him to let it die with her because she didn’t want to inflict her life on her son but minato was acting as a hokage before a father because it was (as he knows it) his duty as much as the jinchuriki’s to guard the kyuubi and if he has to sacrifice his son and martyr himself to do it then so be it.

It also did occur to me that Sakumo always looked so tired whenever we see him, because little Kakashi was probably a menace, especially when he figured out/learned all the ninjitsu stuff. 😄 Kakashi’s sass was all from Sakumo though, and no one can convince me otherwise.

Looking for a female naruto Madanaru dimension travel book

Soo sai gave sakura a book for her birthday with her and sasuke as the male and female lead and naruto/naruko (don't remember if they changer her name) as the villainess. Sakura wanted to have to see from for real so naruto created a seal so they could both go in the book but naruto didn't read the book so assumed her role as the villainess was to marry the king (madara) and become the insane queen with itachi shisui and obito help she proceeds to seduce madara in hilarious ways eventually they fall in love getting married. Than sakura finishish the book rejecking sasuke and they both go back to the real world. There are 2 ending 1 where naruto goes back to the book world after the end and another where the uchihas come to the naruto world.
