Yes. And also! These people who give you info arent online! And when they give you proof they show it to you on their phone ! They never share you photos that you can screenshot or download!! This is what you guys don't understand. And after getting their trust and building a relationship with them if you're not sitting with them face to face in a Fanmeet or a fan café event or a concert after building a friendship, when you ask them for news they video call you for some tea and show you photos or videos from their phone in a video call and tell you "If you take a screenshot or record the screen we will never talk to you again and you will pay" , most of them are scary and rude and very much stronger than you think! They can hack you and ruin you. And they did that a lot to Sasaengs such as Sehun's famous Sasaeng "Iridescent boy" and Suho's sasaeng "Rion " and Baekhyun's "Polar Light" ExoL ruined them and hacked their accounts and got them suspended on Twitter and insta and even hacked their bank accounts and their phones and threatened them to expose their photos and take their money and they even Beated "Polar Light"and "Rion" and threatened them that if they ever come to any Exo event or concert they would beat them again to bleeding. To the level that Both Rion and Polar light had massive plastic surgery to change their features completely and they hid their faces with masks and glasses and changed their style completely to be able to attend a concert or fansign without being recognized by the ExoL Mafia! But unfortunately they recognized Rion again and beated the shit out of her until she bled and they sent her back to Japan and told her to never come back again.

So who wants to deal with all of that? Why would I risk all this to give you a photo of Kadi that you will not even appreciate and you might spread to the internet and expose them and me and ruin the both of us? Why would I lose my sources'trust ? Why would I do this sacrifice for you? If you wanna believe then believe it if you don't , DON'T.

i’d also like to mention that the dynamics within exo seem to have changed as more members are done with service. obviously i don’t know these people & we only see what’s on camera but it seems like a lot of the ships/pairings aren’t as close as they used to be while other pairings seem to have gotten closer. like sehun even admitted in recent japan content that he doesn’t have all that much in common with junmyeon, and chanyeol saying he likes post-military junmyeon more. i don’t wanna say i think some members are growing apart per se, but with so many different personalities in one group, i think it could be just a case of them doing their own thing i.e solo stuff. sukai’s been getting a lot of love this year, though. i’ll never forget the story of junmyeon promising jongin’s parents that he would take care of him :((( and they have really good chemistry despite being polar opposites lol and i’ve always thought subaek had chemistry, too, but i’m just rambling now lol. sorry!

i love that we're seeing more of sesoo and of soochen, too! it's so lovely to see kyungsoo be so openly affectionate with his members, he would have never done that to that extent before. he is very open to receiving affection now. same goes with chansoo; they've always been close but i think it was super obvious how much they missed each other in hindsight. my heart twists inside my chest when i think about how much chanyeol and kyungsoo love and cherish each other, and how that respect seems to only have grown in the past 3 years. i feel like their bond has gotten stronger; maybe absence really makes the heart grow fonder?

sehun and junmyeon... oh, good god. the funniest thing is how they were GLUED to each other during junmyeon's enlistment, and how sehun actually moved back into the dorm last year to stay with junmyeon, lol. i love their back and forth, it seems like they are a little less codependent these days, and that also comes with maturity. i think it was probably also a conscious decision, considering sehun's enlistment. this guy has been spoiled rotten by the exos for 12 years, he needs a break.

what i love is jongin and jongdae!! it is so sad that we can't see more of them; i feel like sm pairing them together for events after jongdae's discharge was such a good choice to create a safe space, and jonginis so, so supportive of jongday and vice versa. back in the day, it was way more cbx-focused, i feel. it's cute to see jongdae with the maknaes in general, you can totally tell he is a dad.

junmyeon and baekhyun always had TONS of chemistry, they just rarely hung out, or we rarely saw them together. i actually talked about that with ana a lot. it's an average taurus/gemini relationship tho, they naturally just get along really well with each other. (also, how cute are suyeol!!!!!!!!! chanyeol respects junmyeon SO much, chanyeol in general is desperately needed in exo. not only as a mood maker but also because he is naturally affectionate.)

(i don't care about chanbaek whatsover lmao and neither do i care about kaisoo... i feel like people got too crazy and keep interpreting things that are definitely NON-EXISTENT in these relationships. it's like with the popular svt ships, lol. makes me think of verkwan.)

This episode is in commemoration of Kyungsoo’s second mini album, pre released track, titled ‘I Do’. we will be looking at a fic I believe is very appropriate. This story we will be looking at today, illustrates and has the essence of the song.

My experience reading the fic, and connecting parts of the narrative to the lovely song we have received from our dear Kyungsoo.

Without further ado, let us dive into the fic of the day.

The fic i will be going through today… is laced with so much love, and even more love to be desired upon after reading this short thousand word fic. 

In the Clouds With You by at1stsoo is the fic we will be looking at today. Set in this universe where kaisoo is the way we see them now, but of course laced with fiction. This work is part of the Waxing & Waning series. I will not get into what Waxing & Waning is today, because that series needs a few episodes by itself. But going back to the fic of the day. General tags of In the Clouds With You by at1stsoo includes Fluff, Romance Wedding ish, and because it is a non au, it has also been tagged as canon compliant. 

The premise of the fic, reading from the authors summary: The location is heavenly, and Jongin envisions something other than a press conference taking place. (Kyungsoo does, too.)

The setting for this fic comes after the Waxing & Waning series, so kaisoo is already in an established relationship. It is a non au, so it is inspired by real life events. Here, the event that sparked this beautiful thousand word fic was The War press conference back in July 2017.

Everytime i read this fic, it is quite a fast read, well again it's about a thousand words, and wow does it give me the giddy feeling of love. The first few paragraphs of the fic, we have a scene where kaisoo are in their immaculate suits, written so painfully like them getting ready for a wedding ceremony in the venue. Sorry not A wedding, THEIR wedding.

The giddy feeling of love and hope and knowing their love is perfect. TO ME. Their love is perfect to me.

His eyes well up a little, and he meets Kyungsoo’s gaze with a *hitch* slight hitch in his breath.

Jongin nods, his joy evident despite the tear that trickles down his cheek. “I do, I do.” Kyungsoo smiles back at him, a little glassy-eyed himself, and reaches into his navy pants’ pocket, pulling out a matching silver ring. Jongin marvels at it for a moment. “So we were only missing an officiant today?”

“Pretty much,” Kyungsoo says, giving him a light peck on the nose, cheek, and lastly lips. “You like it here? Or someplace like this?

“Name the time. Name the place. I’m yours.”

To fuel this kaisooism even more, Kyungsoo says in ‘I Do’: I know you and you know me like we are one, between us we share countless, identical memories.

I think enough has been said. The thing is, as a kaisooist who takes references from at1stsoo’s fics, it is as if the song was inspired by this moment. Their moment of innocent intimacy, their promises of lifelong commitment, and the confidence that they would be able to prevail all that limits their bond of love. 

Just an anecdote of what happened on the day of the pre released track, as i was listening to the song, i DMed at1stsoo. She mentioned upon listening to the latest release, that she had to edit the fic to have Jongin say I do, I do, to Kyungsoo’s sweet proposal.

Onto the next segment where we introduce a bit on the author: at1stsoo is, as we all know, a writer. A kaisoo historian and won the best kaisooist a few years ago. Works on ao3 amount to about 50 fics and counting. All on EXO.

at1stsoo has been in this fandom since 2013, that's about 10 years. The pull factor that got her into this fandom was when EXO released Growl. She heard the song and loved the start of the second verse. When she watched the music video for Growl and saw Kyungsoo sing the start of the 2nd verse, her bias was solidified. Back during The Moon promotions, at1stsoo obsession was on all of Kyungsoo’s stage greetings for The Moon and the confidence he is showing in interacting with fans. The meaning behind her user pseudo name is: when she fell in love with Kyungsoo at first listen and at first sight.

My question for at1stsoo was, what was your thought process when you saw kaisoo in the war press conference? What was the first thing that came to mind, and how did everything come to place in the end to birth this beautiful one shot?

At1stsoo response was that she immediately thought the boys looked like they were ready to be in a wedding, esp Kyungsoo and Jongin, and the venue for the presscon was soooo different from the usual? outdoors? greenery? it felt like such an outdoor wedding, so she thought - ok today's the day Kaisoo gets married in the Waxing & Waning series.

at1stsoo continued that of course, a proposal made a lot more sense than an actual wedding, so she ran with that. at1stsoo had always loved their secretive whispers right in front of fans on stage so she thought a secretive proposal in front of the press was kinda fitting.

“That darn Blitzen!” Kyungsoo snatches his beard from his face and slams it on his candy cane desk. “I should have known that she would do something like this, that sneaky and fast deer.”

Kyungsoo postures a thoughtful look, searching for a remedy to get more reindeer treats. All of them were gobbled up by the greedy Blitzen who’s a total glutton for her favorite food. It’s a dilemma brought on by the baker elves who left the oatmeal with sugar cookie sprinkles out on the window sill to cool.

Now, he doesn’t have anything to give Rudolph for energy to guide his sleigh. And he knows it’s Blitzen due to the black residue marks from a lightning strike on the window frame.

Should I call Olive and have her go instead?

Scratching his head, Kyungsoo calls, “Baekhyun!”

“Yes, Santa?” The helper elf instantly materializes beside him, the top of his pointy green hat reaching Kyungsoo’s shoulder.

“I need you to tell Junmyeon to quickly make the treats again and pay attention to hide them from Blitzen. She’s very clever. And have Sehun take the reindeers out to play a few reindeer games as a distraction. Don’t let them exclude Rudolph again.”

“Aye aye, Santa.” Baekhyun chirps, eyes glistening like dark chocolate candies. Soft cherub cheeks stretch into a smile as he skips away to complete his task.

Kyungsoo plumps into his gingerbread chair, tosses on his circle rimmed glasses and studies the list on his desk. The list unfurls, rolling across the floor until reaching the door. Kyungsoo notes that it's rather long, however, not as long as the lists in the past two years. Doable, and perhaps he could get done quickly and be back by the time his in-laws come.

Everything is planned meticulously and not one stop can be delayed. He will start his journey in Kiribati and make his way to the later zones, going the opposite way of the Earth’s rotation. But he needs his reindeer prepared and full of energy before even thinking about leaving.

That darn Blitzen! He could almost kick her out the lineup. Alas, he needs all nine of them, otherwise his sleigh would get nowhere.

Why couldn’t she be more sweet and caring like Cupid? She's such a loving deer, willing to give up her share if needed. He’ll commend her later.

As Kyungsoo runs over the list, he begins to take a sip from his mug of hot chocolate until something taps him on the shoulder.

Kyungsoo startles. When he looks left, no one is there. There’s another tap to his right shoulder and once again, he sees nothing.

“Jongdae, now’s not the time. What is it?”

The silly elf steps to his left and giggles. “Santa, I’ve called you a dozen times. We have a problem.” Kyungsoo gestures for him to go on. “The shrinking device is broken.” He says with an air of nonchalance as though that isn’t a major thing that Kyungsoo needs to know!

Kyungsoo scrambles out his chair. “To the workshop! We have to fix it or else there will be no Christmas!”

They dash out of Santa’s house and it takes less than five minutes to get to his row of workshops. He immediately notices the elves in distress, running all over the buildings, trying to stuff the toys in the bag while loading the sleigh. Some elves are tending to toys in a last ditch effort to fix any mistakes or errors. Splashes of red and green overalls swiftly pass Kyungsoo as he makes his way to the very last toy station.

The utterly stressed Yixing is tinkering with the device, tapping the buttons and trying his best to get it to work. Tao is standing there as well, the two elves speaking in their own scientific language with terminology that Kyungsoo had long forgotten.

At a loss of what to do, Kyungsoo begins to panic inside. Of all the things to go wrong hours before he needs to set off, why did it have to be the shrinking device? How else will he get down everyone’s chimney?

Yixing spots him frantically pacing and doesn’t smile like he typically would. Instead, he looks gravely serious. “Santa, the device is broken and me and Tao don’t know why. It suddenly stopped allowing anyone to shrink, but the green light still comes on.”

“Have you deconstructed it and looked inside?” Kyungsoo asks, arms folding over his suit.

“We have.” Tao nods. “We’ve taken it apart to the best of our knowledge but we couldn’t see all of the components. Maybe we need to ask someone who’s better equipped in dealing with this device.”

Instantly, everyone thinks of one man.

As if to answer their wishes, Jongin enters the shop adorned in olive green overalls, white earmuffs, and a dark red coat with white faux fur. Everyone stops what they're doing, looking at him with shiny bright eyes.

Kyungsoo is not to be outdone by the elves, with eyes that sparkle, matching the enormous grin on his face.

Just prove that you are right and Kaisoo is real with a photo or video that we haven't seen

First if all you should know when you receive something from an insider or a KExoL or Jap or Chinese ExoL, it's either they show it to you directly they don't send it to you they make you see it directly. Or! I can't risk my faves personal life to be exposed and get hate and backlash from ugly fugly people online. Why would I need to prove to you? Who are you? Why should I care about how you feel?

You think these kind of people won't harm KAISOO? Don't be selfish.

This is the main reason KexoL and Cherries and Jap Le don't share anything with us because they simply don't trust us with our own faves. Because the whole fandom became Akgaes and Solo stans especially the Dandanies they're terrible have you seen them in twitter, now that Ksoo left they're trashing over Exo day and night and hating on each member. So they don't share anything because they're afraid solo stans and akgaes will hate on the other members they share news about. Some people are just here to hate. It's their job. They're jobless.

Also if I wanted to share Ksoo's mother's photos and his cousin's photos from Chuseok with the dogs but after reading these two asks I just received and posted before this one here, I stepped back and said " Why and to whom am I doing this? Does anyone deserve to see this?"

KAISOO 2024 Birthday Season Episode Specials: Cover Art with Kiki the Artist

I am Alexio Sospranio, and you’re listening to the kaisoo fic podcast.

Dear kaisoo listener, this episode covers the story behind the episode cover art pieces and a segment for the artist to share with us her journey.

I had always been looking for an artist who I could commission to do the cover art of my podcast episodes for many reasons. One, i can’t really draw and so I knew I couldn’t make what I wanted in my head on the screen.

And two whenever see Kiki’s works on my feed and I’ve always found it super cute. So when I saw that Kiki’s commissions were opened, I wondered, hm won’t it be interesting to see the image I have for kaisoo’s 2024 birthday special episode cover art panel through Kiki’s artistic lens?

So I took a leap and DMed the lovely Kiki, my concept. And when i did, kiki asked for the vibe, concept, outfit, pose to have a better sense of the whole picture. I was very specific as to what I wanted. 

The concept for this kaisoo birthday season was bearnini and kittysoo getting ready to celebrate their birthdays.

The image i have in my head is that kaisoo live together and they live in a sort of cottage with a garden where nini mends their beautiful garden with a small harvest that soo uses for his cooking hence why nini is wearing a garden apparel and soo is wearing an apron. They live with a small black cat that brings its brown bear soft toy everywhere it goes. 

The trailer episode for the season has kaisoo looking shy at each other, as if they got caught trying to surprise each other. The vibes here convey feelings of curiosity and hopefulness. Ah, to be in love and happy. 

I was very specific as to what i wanted. From having the banners not hung properly on the trailer day to the positioning of the cat and bear duo, to the colour of the balloons soo holds on kaisoo day art. To the flowers nini holds out for soo, to have it be two yellow daffodils that signify rebirth and new beginnings, and a green carnation that… as we all saw in the war press conference back in 2017 D.O. of EXO wearing a green carnation THAT indicated homosexual affiliations back in the 19th century yes ksoo we know WE KNOW and of course haha the other flower would be a rose to signify love and passion and also the fact that ksoo sings about a rose to his lover in his first mini album.

I shared a doc with kiki on the things I wanted to see in the pieces like the episode special on Kyungsoo day. Soo getting the table ready for their birthday. Soo from the kitchen, baking, as you can see from the art, vanilla cupcakes and a peach cake. Thank you KAI of EXO for singing a song on peaches and vanilla, which made it easier for me while I was conceptualising this image. And I wanted to see in the pieces like the episode special on Jongin day, fourth cover art we have nini decorating roses on the table and petals coming out of the pocket of his garden apparel, garden apparel has a spade inside the waist pocket .

But anyway yes on kaisoo day itself we have kaisoo now changed into proper outfits, inspired by KAI and D.O in their individual 2023 party outfits. Before moving on to the next segment, i'm not sure if listeners are aware thatttt actually the background colour for my episode cover art is always the same: pink and yellow. It;s actually the colours of kaisoo’s jersey during the hear me out promotion video where kaisoo were sitting next to each other. I love it so much and I have it as my wallpaper because what is personal space to kaisoo am i right?!

But anyway, this is a bonus episode with kiki, peachypeptide on twitter. She has done a lot for me when i sent her this long list of requests of how i wanted things done, positioning of the different characters and elements, colour scheme and all. 

So to show my appreciation for our artist of the day, the next segment of this episode today will be getting to know more about the artist we have here today. Prior to todays session, i asked Kiki some questions and this was what she had to say:

Hello there kiki. I just want to start by saying thank you so much for making the image in my head come onto the screen. 

Now, I asked for quite a bit, but maybe let’s start with some warm up questions.

I am aware that you are a collage student (please correct me if i am wrong!), so if you don't mind me asking, what are you majoring in? Are you in the visual arts scene or is drawing a hobby?

Yes, I am a college student. Living far from home is never easy. My major is digital arts & graphic design. It was a hobby at first but the more I grew up the bigger the passion became. I want to make a living out of drawing and creating beautiful things. Well, not like i have other choices since drawing is the only thing i’m good at hehehe

Aw, that is a nice aspiration to have! Using the talents we have been given and using them to the fullest. 

So going on with the theme of creation, how long have you been creating artworks? Not just pouty nini related or EXO related, it could be from your very first artwork to how you got here!

My first piece of art (not really art hehe) was the butterfly i drew when i was 4. My grandma taught me how to use crayons and pencils. The way my silly lines can create a butterfly on the paper made me excited. I can feel something bloom in my chest, like, i love this feeling, i love these crayons and pencils, i want more!!!. And my grandma also supported and praised me a lot that boosted my confidence (i love her so much). Well, i might not be that good but i am definitely the best in her eyes.

I started drawing ninibear 3 months (or more) ago. Becoming a fanartist was never a part of my plan. I prefer silently supporting. But don’t get me wrong hehe, i love drawing and i love jonginnie and exo so much but i got this curse that happen whenever i’m into any idol: i can’t draw them as pretty as i want, i can’t draw the same face or body. It mentally haunts me. But i just love jonginnie so much that i just dont care. And i just draw draw draw and draw. You can see how different the first ninibears compared to present ninibears. It’s a fun process actually and i love the fact that i contribute something to the fandom.

Of course! I remember reading somewhere about having a quick dopamine release as you consume fanwork on a new obsession. But as we create, like what kiki, other fanartist and authors do, there is a release of slow dopamine that is more sustainable and engaging. This kind of slow dopamine we get is from doing things that take effort but are ultimately rewarding.

Now onto the commission itself, what was your process of doing it? What were the things you prioritised and how did it slowly come together? 

The process is super simple and like many other artists, i spend all day to find inspiration. Scrolling on every platform, running errands, watching tutorial, dancing (hehe),… or even just breathing, doing nothing, lying on bed until some ideas hit, then wake up in the middle of the night to sketch. It’s not good for my health at all, I know but can I help it? 

The following phases, well you know, sketch - line - color. It’s just very natural. Like, when i line and paint the art, no thoughts in my head. There’s no space to think. That’s my hand’s job (hehe). Silly, isn’t it?

Of course the first priority is ninibear. He’s the main event, the soul of the party. When i draw ninibear, i spent a lot of time on brainstorming his clothes. I want him to look the cutest. And well, it’s the hardest part because he looks the cutest when he has nothing on him (all round and chubby). So basically when i can come up with any outfit idea, everything is just easy, life is good.

That is actually pretty wholesome! And as the person who commissioned kiki, i got updates from her ever so often, which i am forever grateful for. She kept me engaged in the process and was always open to suggestion. Now, last question of the day: Which kaisoo episode cover art that you have done is your favourite, and why?

Can i say all of them? Your idea was too cute to handle, that’s why my love to all 4 is all equal. I appreciate every second of the process, the idea that i’m helping you to visualise a lovely story of kaisoo. Each piece of cover art means a lot to me. I just love them all ❤️

Of course, i do agree, because i too, love each of them…
