Dora: Ok, ok! Let’s not fight! I broke it, let me pay for it, Amanda!

Amanda: No! Who broke it??!

Wooly: [looks at Pibby, then at Amanda] Amanda... Pibby's been awfully quiet.

Pibby: REALLY??

Wooly: Yeah! Really.

Pibby: Oh, my God! [everyone starts arguing at one another except Amanda]

Amanda: [to the crew inside her room] I broke it. It burned my hand, so I punched it. I predict ten minutes from now they'll be at each other's throats with war paint on their faces and a pig head on a stick. [turns to look at her friends as they continue to argue, then looks back] Good. It was getting a little chummy around here.

I grew up with Nickelodeon/Nick.jr, a fun fact. I would be watching over Dora the Explorer, Ni Hao, Kai-Lan & Bubble Guppies

I remember that I would watch the main characters talking on screen and won't get tired of them. As someone who tried to understand English, I would let these shows reach me.

Now, years later. That same feeling hit me again with actual fandoms I was: TMNT 2012/2018 & Welcome Home

Watching the main character on screen and searching all over for their content.

My parents would be saying I was loving too much of Dora, Kai-Lan & Molly as a kid.

Now, seeing their son-child loving over Wally & Leonardo (2012/2018)

On today's episode of exposing myself I confess- when I was little I used to ship Rintoo and Kai lan HAHAHA

Honetly it's lowkey sad that something that keeps me going on being invested in series or media in general are ships- HAHAH LIKE I CAN WATCH CONTENT WITHOUT SHIPS. It just more exciting when you are expecting something to happen between two characters. I don't want to know what that says about me I just know I love making stories and I've shipped characters since I can remember so- I decided to embrace it and show you a few ships I had when I was little (It's funny cause I thought everyone thought the same as me but I've spoke with two friends and they were like "hmm no???" HAHAHA-

Anyways I thought Rintoo probably liked her but Kai lan was too focued on other things that she didn't even care. Then idk why I made Tolee and Rintoo fight for her cause Rintoo was kind of a jerk because of his carnivour gens or something HAHAHA DUDE I DON'T KNOW I WAS EDGY- I SWEAR I DREW THEM IN "ANIME" STYLE AND IT BECAME VERY TOXIC HAHAHAHA

And I really loved that for Wangxian. Excerpt: The air in the room chilled fast enough to make his skin pebble. The incense smoke curled, not toward the ceiling, but inward toward itself. Slow at first, then quickly. Thicker and darker, then with a grinding, squeaking noise like sand being crushed under a pestle and with some deeper, empty note like the aftermath of a scream of horror, it took form. Wei Ying. Wei WuXian. Robes black as night and decorated with blood red embroidery in shapes that made his eyes ache to behold. Blinking away tears that might have been the same reflexive action as looking at the sun, might have been the burn of that defiant, stubborn love given hope, Lan Wangji tore his eyes away from those impossible designs. Looking up, he saw Wei WuXian's hair was held back in twists and braids by jewelry made of what was unmistakably human bone. Fun fact: My mom told me that a person from China visited my daycare once when I was little and was blown away when I was speaking Chinese words I learned from Kai Lan.

We seriously need more children’s shows that teach kids about different cultures.

Summary:

The series follows the adventures of Kai-Lan and her group of talking anthropomorphic animal companions. The group consists of Kai-Lan, a 6-year-old Chinese-American girl; Rintoo, a yellow 6-year-old Bengal tiger; Tolee, a gray 5-year-old koala; Lulu, a light pink 5-year-old rhinoceros; and Hoho, a white 3-year-old monkey. Each episode is based around a series of events that occur during Kai-Lan's day, along with obstacles that she and her friends are forced to overcome (with "assistance" from the viewing audience) relating to riddles, playing games, and working together. Common rituals may involve Kai-Lan resolving conflicts with her friends when they feel negative emotions. To help them, Kai-Lan has the audience help her figure out why they are having difficult situations. Usually, once Kai-Lan's friends discover that their actions are wrong, they apologize and promise to work together better. The audience is usually presented with two musical sing-alongs where Kai-Lan sings about what must be done to overcome her and her friends' challenges. The episode always ends with Kai-Lan successfully helping her friends and everyone getting along.
