been slowly chipping away at redesigning characters so that I'm happy with them and their basic proportions before I make final character sheets!!! ettariah is something I've had half my brain thinking about for the past four ish years now, but I'm determined to start making it real with the right motivations and check off lists! I have the basic lay out for the first "act" of the "comic".... now I just have to make everything....... including learning to code a quick video game/graphic novel portion... and animating/animatic-ing another part.... when I have a known tendency to hate animating.... but it'll work out eventually :3 at the rate I'm going it's probably not gonna be done for ages but it's really nice to have a goal to work towards with my art, and to feel like I have something to look forward to.

with kadys design, I've never been too happy with different parts of her. I've never known what I want to do with the hair, what weapon to give her, how cat-like to push her proportions, and even her colors I kind of gave up on and just did a randomly generated pallette. with the redesign has a definite push towards more cat-like proportions, and I'm basing her very slightly on Pallas cats, because I have always enjoyed them. and, I'm not sure if this will stay, but I'm thinking on giving her alien clothes stuff more of a Mongolian edge than the random athletic wear I usually give her? still thinking on that. love her colors now, love her bushy tail thing, she is (hopefully) gonna be very fun to draw in comic form!
