Hira: "Idolship at first sight. This man completly skipped the love phase and went straight into obsession. While very much attracted to and in love with Kiyoi, he is also intensly devoted to their inequal power dynamic, to the extent that he often ignores (or as some might put it kindly, is oblivious to) Kiyoi's feelings to preserve his ability to worship Kiyoi. To him Kiyoi is like a star or a god, and Kiyoi really just wants Hira to acknowledge that Kiyoi has feelings too and isn't some unfeeling piece of plasma floating in space. Kiyoi also frequently refers to Hira as his stalker, which Hira seems to like?"

I wish to inform you all that in Japanese, there's two words that translate to "come back". One means to return to a place that you've been to before (e.g. "I've been to Japan before and came back") ("modoru" (戻る)) and another one that means to return home (kaeru (帰る)). Kiyoi uses the latter here and I just think it's very sweet🥺

I finally watched My Beautiful Man - Eternal and OMG ITS SUCH A GREAT MOVIE 😭😭😭 What a perfect ending to this series. Sounds fake but I legit laughed and cried and screamed, the movie was soooo good and I love Hira and Kiyoi sooooo much 🥹🥹🥹 I think I believe in romantic love again…. Am I being dramatic? 😅 yes, but that’s how I feel. Def one of my fav couples and I think…. My fav Japanese BL ever and just one of my favs overall. Anyway…. If you have not watched this movie, you should! And def watch the first 2 seasons before because it provides so much wonderful context and history about these characters and their story. 🥰🥰🥰🥰

things about my beatiful man season 2 episode 1 that I've noticed and absolutely adore:

- Kiyoi dressed up in Hira's blue (honorable mention to Hira dressed up in Kiyoi's red)

- colors!!! (red, blue and yellow!!)

- Kiyoi's sweater paws

- Hira not explaining what he photographed to the members of the photograpy club, but explaining it without hesistation or fear of judgement to Kiyoi

- the intro: 1. the duck, 2. them looking back at eacjother at the same time in front of the bench, and of course 3. Hira kissing Kiyoi's hand and them melting into eachother as the lyrics go 'this happiness is eternal'

- Kiyoi defending Hira's appearance and promptly deciding he needs to go show off his man immediately

- 'you're handsome enough for me to fall in love again'

- Kiyoi not even thinking twice about canceling on the afterparty because Hira was uncomfortable and Hira completely overthinking it lmao

- Hira not noticing he was being flirted with and Kiyoi the whole time in the foreground looking so pissed and confused that people are flirting with his man

- Kiyoi being like 'yes i think ur hot, but you're not allowed to be popular bc you cant leave me' while Hira is absolutely not thinking about leaving him. ever.

- Kiyoi asking to be fed by Hira twice (and Hira feeding him icecream!!)

- Kiyoi being all possesive and then getting embarassed about it in the morning

- KIYOI LAYING IN HIRA'S LAP

- Hira still obsessed with photographing Kiyoi and Kiyoi exclusively (and how extremely attractive Kiyoi thinks this is)

- Hira wat watching the little documentary thing entirely encases in (his) blue light while (Kiyoi's) red light from the tv shines in his face

- Kiyoi totally modeling a little bit for Hira

- Hira calling Kiyoi cute (relatable) and being his dramatic self about it

theres more but um i have only watched the episode 4 times (technically 3 bc i wasnt really watching while writing this)

Ruan Lan Zhu: "ruan lanzhu is insane 24/7/365. will easily kill to protect his boyfriend and will also fistfight girls in a Wendy's parking lot. regularly crossdresses to get away with being extra naughty and manipulating people and not work as hard. a boy got a crush on his female persona, thinking it was his sister, and lanzhu used that against him to make him work harder (and also it was funny) and also used the opportunity to flirt with his crush ("I think my sister's more suited for jiushi. I want my sister to be with jiushi. jiushi and my sister are quite close, they're even sharing beds and cuddling.") died and came back to life and was worse (affectionate). secretly an NPC created by the game developer and was so obsessed with/fell so hard for lin jiushi, who he was literally designed FOR, slowly grew into some type of real person."

I've been thinking about Utsukushii Kare (as I often do) and wondering who I'd cast in a Thai version. Apart from Jeff Satur who'd play the Kiyoi character OBVIOUSLY. For Hira though we want someone who can be a bit dorky also really handsome so when Kiyoi styles him up he's WOW. And they'd have to be a really good actor because you want someone who's going to be able to make the viewer empathise with them despite the obsessive creepiness. Nanon could handle it. So could Saint or Ohm Pawat.

Could someone make this happen pretty please?
