Honestly i should probably just slowly start moving my stuff from my bedroom into the spare room ive been staying in for over a year now. Like i know damn well theyre not gonna fix the fucking wall, and i just have my desk and computer in the spare room. Not even a dresser or closet space or a shelf. Or any of my hobby supplies
#text post tag#i need to find a place to go so i can just fucking move out#at the start of november 2023 a pipe broke in wall and ceiling between the upstairs and downstairs#specifically a the pipe that drains water from the kitchen sink and dishwasher. and it flooded two walls and part of the ceinling downstair#which also happened to include the corner of my bedroom where my bed was. and now theres just a huge hole where the water damage is/was#a huge chunk of the drywall and ceiling need to be replaced#and probably some of the insulation since part of it is on the outside-facing wall lmfao#also theres allegedly asbestos in the paint of the walls which is. cool. and fun. i love that.#i have no idea if its true or not because reek fucking lies all the time and idk if he was telling the truth about that#anyways.#i gave up hope that the wall would get fixed about 7 or 8 months ago#so i may as well just move my shit into the room im in now#at least then i could put my fucking laundry away for once#instead of just having it live in a single laundry basket at the foot of the bed. or in a pile that i move between the bed and my chair#ben affleck smoking.jpg

i did laundry and i tidied the floors so good, i mopped them too, i put all the garbage in bags, i folded two boxes i needed to get rid of and i got all the dirty clothes off of the floor and into the laundry basket, i bought medication and i did grocery shopping, and the corner of my room is clean and useable for literally whatever now i did very good today fuck yeah
#talkies#i wanna get one more load of laundry done today and i wanna do atleast half the dishes in the sink if not all of them#and i want dinner ofc#i didnt throw out the trash today but frankly i did a lot and i dont wanna overwork myself so ill get it done either tomorrow or on monday#actually monday might be a better idea cus after work i can buy mops. im completely out rn and the area the trashbags are in needs to be mo#mopped afterwards on account of dust#however. if i focus on dishes today and tomorrow i can make an attempt to finish cleaning the kitchen properly

Of course. Of course I don't do my laundry all day because someone has left their (wet!!!!) clothing in the washing machine and as soon as I get fed up enough to decide to just go down and take the wet stuff out so I can wash my damn sheets what do I see but my roommate, starting a load of laundry

Just my luck to indirectly flood the laundry room again RIGHT BEFORE IM SUPPOSED TO MOVE!!
#I had dishes in the laundry sink that were soaking overnight#I live in a basement#and have never had access to the dishwasher or kitchen upstairs#where my landlady lives#so I’ve always had to handwash everything#and so I left those dishes overnight#intending to get to them today#my first free day since signing the lease on my new place#where I didn’t have work#and so I’m about to bring a load of stuff to my car#and the laundry room floor is covered in an inch of water#someone did laundry not realizing my dishes were still in the sink#not realizing they were covering the drain#the sink over flowed with water draining out of the washing machine#and flooded the floor#I hate this so much#luckily it was taken care of relatively quickly#I can still move things through it#but geez it severely halted my progress#and my brother comes to pick up the U-Haul I rented in 20 minutes#pray for me and this mess#I just wanna get out of there

i want someone who will keep me company while i'm doing mundane things, like laundry or cleaning my room or grocery shopping. like, there are so many times in my day where i look up and realize "hey, this is a little lonely" and wish i had someone there to just be with me, y'know?

Spent 10 hours today, 10 Hours 😭😭😭😭nonstop very deep cleaning the bedroom floor and cleaning laundry,, all bc jiji pissed all over the floor in the last clouple days and took a dump on the floor, and for once really well hid it. ( jiji has insecurity and anxiety issues and also does not put up with if something is not how she likes, but doesn't understand to communicate it any other way 🥲

There’s a suuuuper good chance I just lose my shit entirely this weekend.
#I don't know what's wrong with my leg but I'm thinking shin splints#and the doctor and the massage guy and the internet have all said the same thing: rest and ice and compression#but I only have one pair of compression socks and they keep getting wet#because the stupid kitchen sink is backed up and I need my dad's help to fix it#but for the second night in a row#he can't/won't#so for the second night in a row I tried to fix it and failed and flooded the kitchen out#which means I can't cook or clean or do dishes#and my kitchen is a DISASTER#and my socks are wet#but in the meantime#he also won't help with literally anything else#and my mom is still bed bound and can't#so I have to go up and down the stairs a bajillion times a day to do laundry or fetch things or set up my mom's ice machine or or or#which means I'm NOT RESTING MY LEG#which means it keeps hurting/going numb#meanwhile my entire routine is thrown way the fuck off because everything is messy and I can't fix it#and my mom doesn't feel well so she's set up camp in my bathroom so I can't use the bathroom or shower or get water when I need to#since I CAN'T GO TO THE KITCHEN FOR WATER#and I can't do MY laundry because I'm continuously washing towels from drying the floor in the kitchen#and my dog keeps wanting to go outside#which means MORE STAIRS#and my dad won't help with him either#so I'm not resting#I can't shower#I can't use the bathroom#I can't get water or cook or clean or do ANYTHING#except re-irritate my leg#and make a BIGGER MESS CUZ I CAN'T CLEAN SHIT#and since I can't cook/have no space in my kitchen because we had to empty the under the sink cabinet

spent the whole afternoon cleaning/organizing and you can barely tell. what if i walked into the ocean and was never seen again
#like EYE know my place is cleaner and i feel much better about it#bc 90% of the floor has been swept/vacuumed/mopped so it no longer looks/feels gross to walk on#and there's no longer a giant pile of clean but unfolded laundry and a laundry drying rack dominating half the room#(except for my cloak and some stuff that needs mending and some socks that i may or may not wear again before doing laundry)#and i washed my kitchen floor mats and my pantry has been somewhat organized so i can at least close the door#and i cleaned all the old science experiments out of my fridge and washed the bathroom sink#and i took stuff that had been sitting in open packages forever out of said packages#and i pulled all the cushions off my couch to re-fluff them and vacuum the liner#(which i haven't done in so long there was?? a whole ass butter knife in there?? that i apparently lost in my couch at some point??)#and i went grocery shopping and restocked on a bunch of essentials and bought stuff for a few meals#but my bed is still unmade and all my tables are still covered with junk and my kitchen counter is a mess#so it LOOKS like i haven't cleaned at all even though this was the most i've cleaned in months#i'm proud of myself but also i wish visually it looked cleaner
