JYUSHI If everything in the world is overwhelming darkness Then there’d be no point in having my eyes open I’d rather just keep them screwed shut tight Hoping that these tears might stop flowing Dreams and gods are all fake I’m the joke that everyone laughs at The more I try to keep myself from crying The more cold rain flows down my cheeks
HITOYA There are two things I just can’t stand One is defeat, and the other is Needing someone else to lick your wounds for you Stood alone, I looked up at the night sky Your cries are your own - I can defend you, but I can’t speak for you And just the same, my anger and pain are mine alone Don’t you dare interfere
JYUSHI: I’m exhausted, collapsed, withering away HITOYA: Writhing, struggling, enduring, in agony JYUSHI: Still I continue, into the future, determined HITOYA: Without stopping, into the future, determined KUUKO: If this pain is too much for your two eyes to handle, then I’ll take over from here
CHORUS Enlightenment! Now, look with eyes wide open KUUKO: Willingly! HITOYA: Stubbornly! JYUSHI: Living on! (1) Sharing a destiny, Nagoya Division Let us see with our six eyes, together (x2)
BAT Nagoya!
KUUKO Finally, it’s my turn Grabbing my mic puts me right in the centre Carved into my heart is a flower mandala You better be ready, bright red bandana! Even the detested higanbana Deserves to bloom like any other flower A sight so beautiful it’ll make your body shake Proving we’re alive, so put your hands together Everyone on earth makes mistakes But there are always ways to do them better Choose what’s kind, not just righteous Bad Ass Temple will shine brightly I’ve got no interest in words meant to comfort My bad, but I’m no god or Buddha Merely a monk that’s passing by- And your family, too
CHORUS Enlightenment! Now, look with eyes wide open KUUKO: Willingly! HITOYA: Stubbornly! JYUSHI: Living on! Sharing a destiny, Nagoya Division Let us see with our six eyes, together (x2)
KUUKO Yo, Jyushi! Hit ‘em hard!
JYUSHI “You’re just some weirdo in makeup and visual-kei” Cease speaking and observe my pre-written fate Shall I run away? Nay! I’ll put on a show Rising from my grave, now I shall awaken Having stared into a mirror longer than anyone else, I’m a narcissist That is why even if I fall to my knees I’ll just keep getting up, my way of life Is seared into every inch of my vision
HITOYA Does holding grudges make you feel stronger? Does hating others make you feel better? What was it for? Who was it for? Why’d you do it? Questions without answers I care about more than becoming strong I want to protect what’s important to me, that justice I believed in Should be a sturdy shield, not a weapon
KUUKO Earthquakes, storms, fire, your old man, but More than all that, what you should fear is your own self! This fire in my chest will ward away darkness A fighting instinct, hard work and perseverance Owari’s vigorous, red-headed monk (2) Will take apart the well-written bullshit on the folding screen Word by word, my lyrics unyielding Now listen close to this impulsive sermon! If there’s no clear path ahead, then that makes us lucky - it means there’s no way for us to get lost!
CHORUS Enlightenment! Now, look with eyes wide open KUUKO: Willingly! HITOYA: Stubbornly! JYUSHI: Living on! Sharing a destiny, Nagoya Division Let us see with our six eyes, together (x4)
Enlightenment! Now, look with eyes wide open (x3) Sharing a destiny, Nagoya Division Let us see with our six eyes, together
NOTES:
Each of these lines in the chorus correspond to a specific part of each members' history and personality - Kuuko, who always faces everything head on; Hitoya, who refuses to back down to anything; and Jyushi, who struggled with depression and suicide but continues to live regardless.
Owari was the name of one of Japan’s old provinces, making up the western half of modern-day Aichi Prefecture, which Nagoya is the capital city of.

After have digged a lot of shoujo manga be ready for some shoujo cliche! First how does the Matsu react when they notice something on their s/o like a bead crumb or some rice on their cheeks or a leaf on their head?
Osomatsu: He really liked these small moments, eating onigiris with his s/o under the beaming sun. Their face looked so much better too in these moments, but there was something muddling this picture a bit. Oso leaned over, his thumb brushing away the grain of rice but resting near their lips.
“O…oso?” they were looking at him, their cheeks flushing to their ears. He couldn’t help but to… Quickly steal a bite of their snack.
He laughed at their annoyance, and pretended to be shocked when they stole a bite of his food. He kissed their forehead, still chuckling- really this is going to keep him smiling for weeks till next time.
Karamatsu: This was Kara’s big chance. The chance to be the coolest guy, and make his s/o blush from his amazing confidence. Pushing up his sunglasses, he prepares himself for his big line. This has to happen now, and it has to be perfect-
“Hey, hold still a bit.” His s/o beats him to the punch, wiping away his panko crumbs. “Thank goodness I helped, now you’re perfectly cool”
“o-OH.” his cheeks were flushed, he pushed his glasses deeper up. “Thank you, my Karamatsu-world!”
Choromatsu: His s/o had the great plan to eat before he set off to his concert, it was great really- he was concerned at the food they chose. It was dripping with sauce, and ended up on the side of their cheek. He sighed, and with a napkin wiped away the offending liquid.
“Honestly, be careful- You could have dripped onto your cloth-” His nagging stopped when he looked at the closeness between him and his S/o. Causing him to panic, and stand up abruptly, their food landing on him in the process.
His s/o laughed, and walked with him back home so he could get changed- even offering their jacket so he wasn’t too embarrassed.
Ichimastu: Ichi couldn’t believe his luck, getting a tuna onigiri from his s/o. It wasn’t like he deserved it, but they insisted. They chomped onto their food, while petting a cat that was obviously begging. Would…would this be like everyday if they stay together. The idea makes him need a bit of pay back.
Seeing their face have a bit of rice stuck to it snaps him out of his mild embarrassment, and he leans close to his s/o’s face. They mistake it for a kiss, close their eyes- before feeling his tongue lap at their cheek.
“W-wha-!” they cover the spot, and blush. Honestly, serve them right.
Jyushimatsu: After running around the park 4 times, and taking 12 laps at the river- Jyushi ran back to his s/o who was waiting on a picnic blanket with food ready. He really worked into an appetite after running around so much. He stopped when he saw some bread on his s/o’s face and he quickly wiped it away then lifted them up ,and spun.
“J-Jyushi!” they held him tight before Jyushimatsu fell to the ground with them laughing. They also laughed, and rolled off of him. “Come on- let’s have lunch already!”
He couldn’t wait.
Todomatsu: He was sitting at a booth, waiting for his s/o to come back with their croissant and both of their drinks. Swiping through photos of them both on their date- carefully ranking the photos in his mind on which would be best for bragging rights.
“Here Totty~” his focus snapped to them, setting his drink down, then taking a seat by him before taking a bite of the cream filled croissant. A piece of bread stuck to the side of their mouth, and he sighed leaning close- brain still thinking of the photo’s to warn him of his move.
His hand wiped away the bread, and he whispered out “Honestly, you can’t be this cute all the time.” They looked up at him, their face flushed. His brain fully caught up now, he laughed it off and sat down. “My bad- we should take pictures of the drinks together!” that was too close, that almost didn’t feel like it fit his careful persona.

A Stain on his Purity
#HypMicRarepairWeek2020 is going intense for now, isn’t it?
Genre: Comedy. Fandom: Hypnosis Microphone. Word count: 2,177 Prompt: Day 2 - First Kiss Summary: A fashion magazine wants Ramuda to participate in the last cover with Jyushi as his model. Ramuda notices Jyushi's innocence while creating the design together with him... but he feels so much desire to stain his purity...
Let me know if you liked it on AO3! (・ω・) /
--
Ramuda's hands had been very nimble in making the sketch of what he wanted. The colored pencils were scattered on the table in his workshop, as if a hurricane had passed through it. With the smile he had, anyone could see on his face how much the new project excited him.
He looked at his sketch again and then looked at Jyushi. For a moment, he imagined the whole outfit finished on him. The lights illuminated his face and the flashes kept coming. It was glorious.
The week had begun with a fashion magazine calling Ramuda on the phone. They wanted a special edition from people on the rise to fame, and they begged him to be there. If he wanted it, the cover was his.
Without much thought, he accepted. Obviously, the money would be good, but the exposure would be better. It was even better when they told him who the model would be. All the screens in Shibuya and Harajuku would be bright with Aimono Jyushi’s face, the “It-boy”, wearing Amemura Ramuda’s designer clothes. The designer and the singer, working together for fashion. It was a match made in heaven.
Taking small jumps of joy, he took Jyushi's hand to make him stand up from the soft pink couch. Jyushi was trying to maintain an elegant, sophisticated stance. A half-smile settled on his face as he looked at the sketch: it was a tall figure like him, with his black and yellow hair in pigtails and a strawberry headdress, wearing an over-the-top Lolita dress. The long sleeves of a pink blouse contrasted with the black dress and the striped stockings. There were chains, ribbons, and strawberries everywhere, a mixture of sweet and edgy that suited his personality.
“Hmm, I won't look half bad in it, right?”
Jyushi's voice was deep and sure. His black eyeliner contrasted with the innocent blue of his eyes. Ramuda paid attention to all those details as he pulled out the tape measure that hung around his neck and leaned over the singer's waist so that he could begin taking his measurements. He would meticulously note down all the data once he was finished.
“Yep~! If everything goes right, you'll look amazing in this dress. It'll be the biggest hit in the magazine!”
“Haha, of course, it will be. When Aimono Jyushi appears, everyone turns to see him.” Jyushi's chuckle was only about self-reliance, a way of repeating to himself that he could make it work. If the magazine had called him to do this, it was for a reason.
“I hope your design is up to my standards, Amemura-san.”
Hearing his words, Ramuda puffed up his cheeks, looking annoyed but not offended. It was obvious that the boy didn’t know who he was messing with. But the pink-haired one couldn't blame him, he was still young and no one had broken his ego... yet. Maybe he should take care of that.
“Onii-saaa~n, you're so mean! I know you're great, but my designs are great too. You'll look so cute!”
Ramuda turned around to go find a stool. For his part, Jyushi looked down and frowned slightly. In some ways, he was having a little trouble keeping it together. He looked down at the couch, looking for Amanda. He could see her sitting on his purse and felt a little bit better. She was the only thing it was making bearable this afternoon. Just having her in the same place made him feel ready to confront anything.
Jyushi thought about how kind Ramuda was, but he couldn’t feel completely comfortable around him. It was not his fault; it was only the fact it’s the first time he had seen him in person. Before Nagoya division had settled, he had seen him at rap battles. He's amazing, Jyushi has said to himself. If someone had told him that months later, they would be making a collaboration, he would have laughed.
Ramuda put the stool next to Jyushi and got on it. He continued to take the measurements of his torso and shoulders and write them down. He hummed a song. That served as a distraction for Jyushi, who closed his eyes and hummed along with him. It was a nursery rhyme, but they both enjoyed it. Jyushi's smile turned innocent as he immersed himself into the melody. The pink-haired one looked at him intently, as if wanting to remember this moment in his memory forever; as he watched Jyushi letting the tune carry him away. He noticed how Jyushi's expression had changed. He was innocent, shining, pure as a white flower. Ramuda felt a strong desire to taint him so badly…
As he came down from the stool, he went to another part of the studio. He took a deep breath to calm his thoughts. The two of them had already stopped humming. Jyushi had relaxed, anyone could tell by the way his shoulders were falling. There was no longer any tension in him, and his smile lit up the studio. To Ramuda, that smile seemed warm and friendly, very different from the ones he gave to people. It was that kind of detail that differentiated a real person from a master of deception like him. In a way, he was jealous of that innocence.
He approached Jyushi again with a pile of hair garters and a comb. He climbed back onto the stool and combed his black hair carefully.
“Oniisan, when did you know you wanted to be a singer? Is it hard to switch between rap and Visual-kei songs? What kind of lyrics do you like best? Would you like to sing something else with me?”
The questions came quickly in Jyushi's direction. His innocent eyes widened, uncertain where to begin to answer. Ramuda continued to watch him, inspecting how the light in his eyes was changing. He enjoyed seeing how the young one struggled to remain in-character, but his real personality was ready to come out. Maybe he just had to force it a little more.
"Jyushi-sa~n, your hair is so long~!"
The garters in Jyushi's hair were arranged to form a pair of braids that fell delicately over his shoulders. As soon as Ramuda finished with one, he placed a black ribbon with a red ornament in the center. He felt that it matched his clothes perfectly and hoped that Jyushi would notice as well. His aesthetic sense was precise, and he would not let anyone tell him otherwise.
"How do you get your hair to be so long and shiny? It's beautiful! I wish I had hair like that too!"
Jyushi didn’t yet realize that Ramuda was doing this on purpose to see if he would fall for it. While Ramuda was faking a pout and playing with the artist's hair, Jyushi was trying to be the same Visual-kei singer who came through the door, not the eager little boy who was about to leave. With a little effort, his gaze became indifferent and his mouth took on the half-smile that had been on his face all afternoon.
“It's because of the moonlight. It accompanies my nightly baths and makes its light imprint itself on my skin and hair.” Jyushi's voice was low again, but it was playful. He tried to sound cool and mysterious, as if his hair had always been like that. “You should feel lucky to be able to touch it like that, Ramuda-san. There are only a few privileged people who can do such things.”
“Yeah, I think I'm lucky too.” Ramuda had come a little closer to her face. His breath was very close to him. He was fixing the singer's bangs and putting a pair of strawberry clips in his hair.
He was greatly amused to see Jyushi's eyes dancing nervously before him. He could feel his Adam's apple going up and down as he swallowed his saliva. His mouth was probably dry from anxiety. But the fun was about to get to the best part.
“Jyushi-san, I think it's fate that has made us work together. I couldn't ask for anything more than a pretty boy like you! It makes me want to... I don't know, kiss you!”
And with that, his lips landed on Jyushi's. The tall one's breathing stopped, and his confidence plummeted, along with a small cry of surprise. Ramuda placed his hands on his shoulders, and with his eyes closed, ran his tongue over Jyushi's lips. As if he had touched a switch on him, Jyushi’s delicate lips parted and Ramuda forced his tongue on him, slowly and softly.
Jyushi closed his eyes tightly, unable to describe what was happening. Once Ramuda prevailed upon him, he could taste the sugar in his mouth, invading it and making it his own. It was strange, perhaps pleasant? He still couldn’t recognize what was going on, only that he liked it. He felt intoxicated. He could feel the color rising in his cheeks and his breathing began to accelerate.
Both the beginning and the end were sudden. Ramuda parted from Jyushi quickly and embraced him by the shoulders. The designer could feel the heat pouring from the singer and was satisfied with it. He put his lips to Jyushi's ear. His voice was no longer high-pitched and youthful, but the voice of a serious man.
“Ah, Jyushi! You are so pure and innocent. You make me want to sully that purity... You're so easy to break."
Jyushi's blue eyes darkened. Ramuda thought it was pure pleasure, that Jyushi wanted more of him, but he was not ready to give it to him yet. The innocent smile returned to his face, playing on his expressions in a way he knew Jyushi would never be able to.
“Do you see, oniisan~? I can't control myself when I'm with you, you're so cute!”
As he got off the stool for the last time and started to tidy up, Ramuda turned his back on him. It was at that moment that Jyushi brought his fingers to his lips and his eyes were like saucers. He couldn’t believe what had happened. If someone had gotten into his head, he would have heard Jyushi screaming inside.
He took his things and hurriedly said goodbye, bowing 90 degrees so that the pink-haired one didn’t see his red face. Ramuda waved his hand and with a smile said, "I hope you'll come back to visit me soon, Jyushi-kun!" In a way, it was the truth. He wanted to see him again. He felt responsible for him. If anyone was going to sully Jyushi's innocence, it would be him. He couldn't have given that honor to anyone else. He placed a candy in Jyushi’s hand, as a way of marking him. They would see each other again, there were still the dress rehearsals and the photoshoot. Ah, how nice to know that they would meet again!
Pressing the candy against him, Jyushi almost flew out of Ramuda's studio. His steps were long, as if to get away from there as quickly as possible. He was ashamed of himself and didn’t understand anything that was happening inside him.
Once he had walked a couple of blocks, he went into the first café he found. His trembling hands grabbed the cell phone and dialed the most important number in his record.
He sat down in a seat at the café. Amanda was in his lap and he was squeezing her, bringing her closer to his body. The menu was on the table, but he didn't pay attention to it. The sound of dialing made him go crazy. His foot was moving anxiously under the table. In his mind he begged "please answer.”
“Hello?”
He took a deep breath as soon as he heard his voice. He could no longer control himself.
"HITOYA-SAAAAAN! Someone robbed meeeee!" Jyushi's voice was one of despair, with tears about to fall from his eyes. The people around him began to look at him, some with pity and some with discomfort. And Jyushi? He couldn’t care less about them, as he was too concentrated in Hitoya’s voice.
“What?! Jyushi-kun, calm down, tell me what happened to you. What was stolen? Did you see their face?” On the other end of the phone, Hitoya's voice sounded alarmed. “Where are you? I'm coming to get you.”
"A kiss! It was my first kiss and I didn't imagine it would be like this!" The tears that came out wet Amanda. People weren't looking at him anymore. The menu was still on the table, unseen.
At his office in Nagoya, Hitoya was silent, not wanting to believe what he was hearing. How could Jyushi have called for such a thing? He did a facepalm. The only thing that relieved him was knowing that it was nothing serious as he had thought. He looked quickly at his schedule and noticed that he didn’t have much to do that evening. He sighed. That was good. There was something in it that told him this would be a long afternoon…

Okay the thing is that in Ososan dub I LOVE Jyūshimatsu's voice and I actually love a lot (not all) of his lines too cause I think it really gives off that childlike enthusiasm that I like so much as part of his character (also I'm really easy to please cause I go fuckin nuts every time he makes a baseball reference) but it's like.. It feels like in Every Fucking Scene He's Part Of someone makes a joke about how stupid he is???? Which really hurts my feelings actually??????? They make jokes about that in the original too but it seems like it's so much more often in the dub and it's like... Do better. My baby deserves better. It's not funny, it's just overused and annoying and it HURTS PEACHY'S FEELINGS OKAY??? DUB WRITERS STOP USING THIS JOKE!!!

I mentioned this before but Osomatsu being Aromantic is one of my biggest hc for his character because I mean how can it not.
Like throughout the show I just found myself relating his experiences with mine in terms of being Aro so maybe it’s like 50% projection but I have evidence for the other 50 I promise hear me out.
One thing I thought of was the fact that Osomatsu was the only brother who didn’t take the rental gf’s out on a date. He only asked for a single hug and he only went on a date when all of his brothers went on a huge date with all of them.
I know the point of the scene was to be funny and that Osomatsu gave away all this stuff for a split second hug but he’s never shown wanting to spend time with these girls actually on a date until he has company around him.
Osomatsu also quickly grew bored of watching Jyushi on his date. Sometimes Aromantic people don’t have an interest in romantic relationships and things such as dates. The rest of the brothers follow the couple nearly all day and Osomatsu seemed to have left once he was sure Jyushimatsu was safe and everything was fine.
‘The way home’ Osomatsu doesn’t mention a thing about wanting to be married or having a partner to love. He even says that he specifically doesn’t want to live with somebody else.
Then there’s the episode with the drug store girl that Karamatsu and Todomatsu fight over
Osomatsu and Jyushimatsu are the only ones to see the situation for what it is. It makes sense for Jyushi, not just because he’s not that stupid but also because he’s been in love before and knows the difference. You’d assume Osomatsu would also be all over this because just look at him- but he’s not, he just gives that same ‘are you serious?’ stare the entire episode. Maybe that could be because his ego is so small, but I believe he doesn’t have that level of interest in anyone so that means he can see right through it all. (Like how Aro people tend to be better judges of romantic situations because they don’t have those feelings (or don’t have them as intensely)
Tumblr media
I think the biggest piece of evidence I have is the entirety of the episode ’just don’t’. Osomatsu clearly had no interest in dating and didn’t even remember Nyya until she told him they’d met before. He even jokes about going on a date before laughing and waving it off.
When Nyya admits she does want to date him Osomatsu completely freaks and hides away. We see him really struggling with this decision and we know that he accepted her offer but he clearly wanted to take it back. Even offering one of his brothers to take his place. (It was his opportunity to finally have something over them, we see how much he loves rubbing this kind of thing in their faces and yet he completely surrenders his sweater to them and lets them fight over it)
Osomatsu, the one who always says he would be fun on dates and loves holding achievements over his brothers head, who does and says whatever he feels like, was too scared to go on a date and nearly flaked.
I think the scene can be read both ways. On one hand Osomatsu doesn’t have the biggest ego. It’s actually the smallest out of all the brothers. So it could be read as him being afraid to go on this date because he feels he’d ruin it or that he didn’t deserve to. Also because having someone love him as he is, piece of shit and all, is terrifying.
But I also think it could be seen in an Aromantic lens. Osomatsu felt pressured to say yes because that’s the natural order of things and when he doesn’t feel the way he thinks he should he gets scared and hides away. He looses sleep over this revelation and only when Totoko gives him a talk does he give it a chance. When he’s rejected he freaks because not only does it establish he’s unlovable as he is but if he can’t force himself to fall in love then does that mean he’s going to be alone forever?
Obviously not, but the point still stands. Some people before they realize they’re Aromantic assume they’re destined to be lonely or that they’re broken in some sense and while it isn’t true, it’s a thought even I had before I realized I was Aromantic. I believe that’s what happened to Osomatsu in that moment. The fear of being different, the dread of realizing something doesn’t feel as it should.
Anyway- Aromantic Osomatsu for New Years!

May I request a yandere jyushimatsu x reader
There's a tightness in his chest, a churning ball of heat between his ribs. He wants to cry and scream, to break things. He wants to take the unbearable fire he feels inside and just let it loose in an eruption of violence. It's bad enough to make his arms tremble.
Before you and Jyushi met, you were dating somebody. He already wasn't happy about that, but then they had to go and break your heart. Just dump you like you're not the most precious thing in the world. How could anyone be so out of touch? How could somebody be so lucky to have you, and then just throw you away?
Somebody who doesn't deserve to live, that's who.
It isn't easy to track them down. Jyushi isn't tech-savvy like Totty. Still, he manages to find an opening in their schedule. A moment with nobody around to see or hear. A place with no cameras.
The plan was for it to be quick, but after he brought that wooden bat down on their head for the first time, he just couldn't stop himself. Again and again and again, until their face didn't look much like a face anymore. He thinks it'll be funny that their funeral will have to be closed casket, that they'll have to be identified by dental records even before they get buried.
Or maybe they'll be cremated, burnt up just like his clothes and bat. No way he's gonna try burning the body himself. The police have ways of examining even a burnt up body, he knows that from watching TV. That's why he just left it.
Now that person can't hurt you anymore. Now he can take care of you, treat you better than that jackass ever did.

I'm still new to the fandom so who do you think is the most underrated character to who deserves better love within the main troupe?
Just looking at the requests and the comments I’ve gotten in the past, personally I think Hitoya is underrated. Kuko and Dice were surprisingly low on requests as well this time, but overall I think Hitoya is the most underrated.
His character design does him dirty (I think he looked super hot in the flashbacks with shorter hair) and I think people dismiss him because the BAT characters (and DH too) were released a while after BB/MTC/FP/MTR. I personally think Hitoya has a really compelling backstory and his motivations are absolutely tragic with everything that happened to his brother.
He’s mature enough to have a job but still fights like a kid with Kuko. He’s emotionally intelligent enough to guide Jyushi through his troubles and literally save his life, but he’s a picky eater and gets annoyed easily. He’s charming and extremely intelligent (never loses any cases), he’s money-hungry but takes pro bono cases all the time. I think Hitoya has so many dimensions that people dismiss in favor of another character they prefer.
Hitoya is 10/10 and I love him~

30 with jyushi rosho and jyuto? thanks!!
Aimono Jyushi:
30. ♥ Would they leave the person they love if it meant saving their life/giving them a better chance at life?
Jyushi doesn’t think he’s strong enough to let you go. The thought of having to let you go makes him grow teary-eyed but he’d heard plenty of songs about love that just couldn’t be. He didn’t think he’d ever find himself in such a situation but if it was truly for your own good, he couldn’t stand the thought of being selfish. Letting you go is like letting a piece of himself go but he knew it was for the best, it was for you. He knew it would be too optimistic to think that things could simply work themselves out and maybe one day Jyushi would find you again but for now, he threw himself into his music to translate his pain into art.
Iruma Jyuto:
30.♥ Would they leave the person they love if it meant saving their life/giving them a better chance at life?
Jyuto was already prepared to make such a sacrifice. He would bitterly think about the fact that he really could have nothing but work in his life, that the second he made another meaningful connection it was being pulled away from him again. But he’d rather you still be alive and well, able to live out your life even if he wasn’t in it. He doesn’t think his actions are selfless at all because it would be breaking your heart without explaining his reasons, knowing you’d be too stubborn to go if he told you the full extent of the situation. No one could ever replace you in his heart and he knew he’d be feeling that emptiness for the rest of his days yet he still protected you without hesitation.
Tsutsujimori Rosho:
30. ♥ Would they leave the person they love if it meant saving their life/giving them a better chance at life?
Rosho felt like that would simply be running away. He had done too much running in life already in his opinion, and while he would want you to be fully aware of what was going on, he didn’t think leaving you was the best option. He’s more determined than ever to make things work between you and to assure you’re getting the life you deserved even if it took time. You don’t think you’d ever seen him be so serious about something before and he was a generally serious person, so you could really tell how important you were to him and trust that he’d find a way to make things work.

Ok. I’m still recovering from BAT’s awesomeness in the no ticket live show and I can’t bring myself to write down what I had in mind for Day 3 of Hitoya Amaguni’s Week 2022 since it was full of sad emotions. I will try to write it before his birthday, but in the meantime… I don’t like the ending that much, to be honest.
The previous entries can be found here!
Day 4 - Nya Ni Nyu Nye Nyon
Hitoya had just left his bike in the private parking of his condo, when he noticed a big cardboard box near the entrance. It was pouring and he just wanted to go back home, have a shower and start his well deserved summer vacation in peace; however a weird sound coming from the carton made him stop on his tracks. Maybe he had just misheard that, but it was better just to check it out.
There were two things he hated. The first was people leaving random junk in front of his apartment complex.
He opened the box with extreme caution and he was met with the sight of five small fluffy kittens.
The second was assholes abandoning pet animals in need.
Hitoya sighed. He knew he would probably regret it in the future, but he took the box anyway (making the small felines cry a little) and went up to his apartment. The first thing he did after settling the box in his living room was take a picture of the kittens and send it to the groupchat of Bad Ass Temple. Hopefully Kuko and Jyushi would be able to help find them a proper home while he’d search for the bastard that had abandoned those creatures.
Jyushi was the first to reply with a few messages full of those strange kaomojis he liked to use. He compared the kittens to Sanrio characters and ended up complaining about how he wouldn’t be able to adopt even one since his roommates were both allergic.
Maybe Kuko-san can keep them at the temple?, the visual kei singer suggested (adding ⊹⋛⋋( ●´⌓`●)⋌⋚⊹, whatever it might mean).
Hitoya let out another sigh and sunk a little into the leather sofa. He closed his eyes. What a way to start his holidays. The kittens were still meowing, but they had calmed down as soon as they realized they were not under the rain anymore. They became a little noisier when Hitoya’s phone rang.
“Shitty lawyer.” Kuko was on the other end of the call.
“Don’t call me that.” Hitoya scolded him and reached out to pet one of the little cats. It was the only one with dark fur in the group.
“My old man prohibited me from bringing more cats to the temple.” Straight to the point. Typical of Kuko. “But they are still young cats. It’ll be easier to find them a new home.”
“I don’t have the time to…”
“Leave it to me. I think a lot of families that come to the temple would be happy to have a small kitten in their life.” He chuckled. “Try not to get too attached to them in the meantime!”
The call ended and Hitoya snorted. As if that could be a possibility!
That same evening, Jyushi had come to help him. Knowing that Hitoya didn’t probably have milk at home, he had brought plenty with other useful products. He occupied himself with the task of washing the kittens and gave the lawyer time to ask the neighbors if they had seen anyone suspicious that day. Nobody saw anything. Hitoya made a formal request to check the security cameras footage but he knew that would have to wait a few days.
A week passed; then another; then a month. Hitoya got used to the little guests in his apartment faster than expected. They were… good cats. Small, needy but also quiet. Except for a single unfortunate accident with Kyon (also nicknamed Kuko 2.0) and the leather sofa, they all started to use the many scratching posts Hitoya had bought.  After the first week they chose to sleep in the lawyer’s bed instead of their designated spots. It was scary to wake up with five pairs of eyes watching him, but Hitoya had to admit it was forgettable compared to the nice feeling he got whenever the cats welcomed him back home every evening.
Kuko had found many families that were interested in adopting them, but every time Hitoya had found many excuses to delay the relocation of the cats. At some point, the monk just asked, “Are you sure you still want to give them away?” and the lawyer had found himself shaking his head.
The truth was… they were a nice addition to his life and he was sure the cats couldn’t ask for a better owner. He had enough money to pay for their regular visits to the vet, to change ruined furniture, to have a cleaning lady, to hire a cat sitter whenever he was away for work for too long… and to keep all of them together without separating them.
“You have more than enough love for all of them, Hitoya-san.” Jyushi had said once while adjusting Nye’s pink collar. “Destiny sent them to you because that’s what you needed.”
He had expected Kuko to make some kind of joke that time, but he had just nodded in a knowing way.
So, maybe they were right.

What about a fem S/O just showering Jyushi with a ton of compliments and love and maybe a spicy/slight nsfw ending? I dunno I feel like Babey needs some more love!
Jyushi fans are so soft - you guys are so good to him  ( ̄ω ̄) I hope you enjoy!
“Hey, Jyushi. Your hair is always so soft.” You carded your fingers through his hair as the two of you lounged in bed. Neither of you were tired enough to go to sleep yet, so you had decided on a much needed cuddle session.
“You’re so tired today, Jyu. I guess that’s because you work so hard; practicing with the band, training with Kuko and Hitoya, going to your part-time job – it’s a wonder that you’re still awake now. You’re so strong for carrying on all this for so long. Many people would have given up, but not you. I’m so proud of you.”
Jyushi stirred as he heard you talk. He had been half asleep before, but now he was more awake than he’d ever been.
“And your fashion sense is so cool and unique, you wear your clothes like they were made for you. Even your pjs are cute!”
It was true – he was wearing a matching purple button up shirt and pants, with a moon print on them.
“Why, thank you.” Jyushi said in his deep voice, clearly trying to detract from how much your words struck a chord in his heart.
“And when you speak like that, you sound just like a prince from a book – or maybe a cool villain. Hm, I don’t know, but, your voice is so pleasant to listen to. I could listen to you speak all day.”
His façade, however, faltered. “I, of course, that’s, why, you would be foolish to think otherwise.” Jyushi put on his hand in front of his face, which he thought was a good distraction from the tiny tears forming in his eyes.
“Are you alright? Do you want me to stop?”
It didn’t work. His hands shook in front of him – normal Jyushi was back.  “No no no! I – I want to hear more, it’s that’s okay with you.”
It was more than okay with you. Jyushi had confided in his past experiences with bullying before, and even if he hadn’t, he needed his confidence boosting in any way possible. And what better way to do that than telling him everything you love about him?
“Come here, then.” You put one arm around him, and let him rest his weight on you. “I love when your eyes light up when you listen to your music, and how you move around slightly – not quite dancing, but a bit more than swaying – and hold Amanda close because you’re so happy. I can tell she’s having fun too!”
“Amanda!” Jyushi was currently holding her, and so he whispered to her, full of joy: “Did you hear that?”
“And… it’s sweet that you take her with you everywhere, and keep her clean and looking her best.” You did that too – brushing lint off her when you spotted some, making sure her fabric was soft and smooth, picking her up when she fell off a table, and many more things that made Jyushi happy. After some time, you had become accustomed to her presence too, and maybe it was something that had rubbed off of Jyushi onto you, but either way, you had began to love her as well.
Jyushi curled in on himself like you were tickling him, smiling from ear to ear, “You’re saying such nice things… It’s so nice…”
“Of course!” You moved to hug him from behind.
He leant into your embrace right away, shuffling to rest his head against your shoulder. “But, why?”
“Because you deserve it, Jyushi!” You kissed his pink cheek – one of his favourite places to be kissed – and you felt it puff up as he smiled.
“Thank you…” He nuzzled his face into Amanda while humming to himself contently. “Hm,” He thought for a second, then looked up to put his face close to your ear, “It would be rude of me to not pay this back. You showered me with compliments, so why don’t we head to the shower?”
The strangely bold comment caught you off guard, and it took a moment to respond. This didn’t go unnoticed. Jyushi took the silence as an opportunity to make his move, sitting up and turning around. He gently placed Amanda to the side and cupped your face.
“Or shall I repay you here?”

Heyo! 👋 hope you're doing well! If you are taking requests right now, maybe some Ichi hurt/comfort? Like maybe he's having a depressive episode one day (me? Projecting? It's more likely than you think 😂) unlike any he's ever had before, and he just doesn't have the strength to do anything, even make snippy remarks at any of his brothers. One (or all, you can pick!) of them notices this odd behavior, and makes it their mission to help him feel a little more like his old self, even if that just means "riding out the storm" with him.
Oof this was really long, lol sorry 😂 but thanks for taking the time to read, I love your writing style! Take care! 👋
eyyy don't be sorry! God I REALLY enjoyed writing this... I love how it turned out
sometimes these guys can be jerks, for sure, even when one of their own is in pain
but... when it's serious... THIS BEAUTIFUL SHIT HAPPENS
please enjoy Ichi being spoiled and surrounded by love from all his brothers because HE DESERVES IT and I love how this turned out <3
-
Ichimatsu’s first (and maybe only) mistake is that he assumes his brothers don’t pay that much attention to him one way or the other unless he speaks up.
Or, maybe it’s that he often hopes they don’t.
Because he knows they care; there are little things they all do that remind him that no matter what, they love him. But they all have their own things to do, and most of the time he finds that best. They should be able to do whatever they like instead of wasting their lives making him feel better. He has a bad day or hates himself so much of the time, if they paid him attention whenever he wasn’t doing well, they’d never get to enjoy themselves with other things.
He cares about them, too. So usually he’d rather they occupy themselves with their own interests whenever he’s not feeling well. He can bury things deep inside and pretend those shitty feelings don’t exist and act almost normal. As normal as someone like him can act, anyway. For their sake. They don’t deserve to worry about him.
Today, he’s too tired for whatever reason. His scathing barbs and negative attitude on most days aren’t really fake… on the bad days, though, he can force his typical demeanor so nobody suspects he’s not fine. All they see is sour-faced, ill-tempered fourth brother Ichimatsu.
He can’t even do that much right now. It’s as if the weight of existence and his own mind is pulling him down, further and further, until he’s drowning in his thoughts. Horrible thoughts. Things telling him he’s worthless, a failure, a burden, good for nothing, should probably be dead… too many things to keep track of.
If he were trying not to get his brothers’ attention by being quiet and listless, it isn’t working. In fact, his current behavior has actually done the opposite.
While he’s lying in the corner of the room, curled around himself and wishing he could fall asleep to avoid dealing with these thoughts and feelings, the others are around their table muttering among themselves.
“You guys noticed he barely touched breakfast, right?” Osomatsu is the first to speak up, and he’s doing his best not to look at Ichimatsu too much, simply because he doesn’t want his younger brother to feel everyone’s eyes on him. He’s pretty sure that would just make matters worse.
Choromatsu hums in agreement. “Yeah, no, he just kind of stared into his tea… he might have taken a sip or two, but that’s about it. I don’t think he even ate any rice.”
“Did he even brush his teeth this morning?” Totty speaks up. “Or his hair? It looks messier than usual, and I was the last one in the bathroom before breakfast, and it didn’t look like his toothbrush had been used.”
“Also,” Karamatsu chimes in, “I believe that is the same outfit he wore yesterday. He didn’t sleep in it, but he put it back on when he got up even though it hasn’t been washed.”
Choromatsu frowns and steals a quick glance at the fourth eldest. “Like he… didn’t wanna think about picking something different out, huh? And… it’s kind of worrying that he didn’t brush his teeth or hair. I mean, that’s basic hygiene. It’s like hes depressed or… some… thing…”
Suddenly a light bulb goes off, and the rest of the brothers exchange a concerned look with each other.
“Oh,” is all Osomatsu says for a moment. Then, “Fuck.”
Before anyone else can breathe a word, Jyushimatsu leans back away from the table and collapses with his head in Ichimatsu’s lap. “Aaaah, Ichimatsu-nii-chan! Baseball practice today? We can do it at the beach!”
Ichimatsu hardly flinches at the abrupt contact, but really it’s because he doesn’t even have the strength to be startled. He doesn’t move to push Jyushimatsu off or bounce his leg to dissuade the him from staying or anything. It’s a moment until he actually says anything, like a delayed reaction from a computer. “Uh. Not today, Jyushi. I’m probably gonna take a nap.”
“Hmmmmmmm… oh, I know! I’ll nap with you! Maybe we’ll dream about baseball!”
All the others watch closely, waiting to see if he gives an average Ichimatsu reaction. Instead, he doesn’t even shrug. “Yeah, if you want.”
Obviously, that’s not what they would be expecting from any other day. They all look at each other again, minus Jyushimatsu who just curls up against his big brother’s side.
Ichimatsu, on the other hand, is so out of it in his own head that he doesn’t realize that he’s done anything to worry his brothers. They should all be paying attention to their own shit, right?
He just feels so exhausted despite that he knows he slept okay last night. All he did this morning was wake up and get out of bed and already he’s… drained.
You’re so lazy. You can’t even put together the energy it takes to read a fucking magazine or something? To do nothing like you usually do? What kind of loser doesn’t have enough energy to do something like watch TV?
What the hell is wrong with you?
He cringes at the sound of his own inner voice berating him, and ducks his head down between his knees. Shit. Everything hurts. Isn’t that right, though? He’s useless. It doesn’t take any effort to just sit somewhere watching TV or reading and yet he’s not even willing to do something like that.
Even though he expects that Jyushimatsu might want to hang out with him, because the two of them are close, he doesn’t anticipate it when Osomatsu comes over and sits himself down across from Ichimatsu. At least, he thinks it’s Osomatsu. He doesn’t really feel like lifting his head fully; it looks like a red hoodie, though.
“Uh, hey, Ichimacchan.” Osomatsu feels a little awkward at first, mainly due to the fact that he’s never sure what to do when Ichimatsu is in one of ‘these’ moods. What works on one day might not work the next time. Previous experience is all he has to draw on, though.
“I noticed you didn’t eat too much at breakfast… you in the mood for something sweet?” Tempting him with one of their favorite treats might put him in better spirits, at least for a minute. “There’s a box of imagawayaki on the counter… there’s three in there, so we can split ‘em. Mom said these ones have chocolate cream in them.”
Everyone else lets out a blissful sigh as they all think about how delicious that’s going to be. Bean paste or custard or even regular cream is always good, but chocolate cream? If they had to fight over those, someone might end up dead.
Ichimatsu offers a shrug in his brother’s direction. “Sure, if you guys want. I’m just not that hungry.”
Osomatsu frowns, and looks over toward Choromatsu who’s thankfully recovered from the imagawayaki imagine spot. None of the brothers would ever turn that down. Even if they weren’t necessarily hungry, they’d make room for something that good. Moreover, given that Ichimatsu didn’t eat anything at breakfast, he should be starving, especially for sweets.
Choromatsu makes his way over, setting a careful hand on Ichimatsu’s shoulder. He doesn’t have any more of a clue what to do than their eldest, so he’s flying by the seat of his pants just as much. Something has to be done… they can’t just let poor Ichimatsu suffer. “Ichimacchan? It’s pretty cold today. How about I turn on the kotatsu, and if you’re gonna nap, you can sleep with your legs under it? That might feel nice.”
Well. That does sound nice, Ichimatsu thinks, because curling up under the heat of the kotatsu is always nice in the winter. But… he’s pretty sure he doesn’t have the energy to even move from this spot. “Oh, yeah… I’ll probably just nap here, though. Don’t really feel like moving.”
“Aaah, but you are cold, aren’t you? I can hear your teeth chattering from all the way over here!” Karamatsu is up in an instant, tugging his leather jacket off his shoulders. Although it leaves him in nothing but a tank top ― and a horribly plain grey one, at that ― it’s a necessary sacrifice for his little brother’s comfort.
He hurries over to where everyone else is gathering and gently drapes the jacket over Ichimatsu’s shoulders. “Hmph… Karamatsu to the rescue as usual! You’re looking cozier already.”
Man,Ichimatsu’s mind comes up with, I try on Shittymatsu’s dumbass jacket one time and suddenly he’s coming up with any excuse to put the stupid thing over me. Do I really want him freezing instead of me? Why don’t I just move my ass over to the kotatsu? He’s gonna catch a cold and it’ll be all my fault because my stubborn ass didn’t move and he took pity on me.
God, I wanna die. They’re all falling all over themselves to do shit to cheer me up when they should be focusing on themselves. I’m fucking trash, making my brothers waste all their damn time on me. Why couldn’t I just do stuff and not make them worry?
“… Ichimatsu-nii-san?” Totty has plopped himself down in front of Ichimatsu, staring in concern at his big brother. Fuck. He’s using that eye voodoo of his, and if he says anything, if he asks Ichimatsu a question, he’s gonna get an honest answer despite the fact that Ichimatsu doesn’t want to admit anything.
He can’t help it, though. Totty’s hand is soft as he reaches up toward Ichimatsu’s face, thumbing away tears that Ichimatsu didn’t even realize he’d started to cry. But his youngest brother is delicate in the way he brushes them, so caring and tender that any little bit of strength Ichimatsu had to keep things hidden away crumbles quickly.
“Hehe,” Totty chuckles, though there isn’t a genuine mirth behind it, “you’re not having a good day, Ichimatsu-nii-san… are you?”
He blinks, and more tears start to drip down his cheeks. This time Totty doesn’t make a move to wipe them away, instead staring at his brother with those big, sad doe eyes, glittering with sympathy.
Ichimatsu lets his head drop again, eyes pressing against his arm and tears soaking into his sleeve. “N-no,” he manages to say in a quiet, insecure, small voice. He hates it. He hates making this stupid confession, because he should be able to take care of himself. His brothers don’t need to be huddled around him, pissing their days down the drain. “I’m… I’m having a bad day.”
With that, it’s like all five of them attach themselves to him all at once. There’s a brief cacophony of worry and reassurances, and a hug Ichimatsu almost loses himself inside of.
“Alright, you hear that, guys?” Osomatsu announces, maybe a bit louder than he really needs to. “Ichimatsu’s having a bad day! Woohoo!”
Choromatsu scoffs. “Ah, ‘woohoo’?? Osomatsu, you idiot! This isn’t a good thing!”
Osomatsu pulls away to rub a finger under his nose with a grin. “Hey, sure it is! He said it, didn’t he? Good for you, Ichimacchan! You’re having a bad day and you said so! Remember what happened when Totty kept junk from us? We need to know this shit! I’m glad you said something!”
Karamatsu’s hand tousles Ichimatsu’s hair as he pulls his brother into a hug. “Yes, Osomatsu is right. You’re having a bad day, Ichimatsu, and that’s just fine. It takes a lot of bravery to admit it, so we’re proud of you.”
“Plus, we’re gonna make this the best bad day ever!” Totty hums. He’s whipped his phone out before anyone can so much as blink, typing away on it. “It’s just about lunch time, so I’m gonna order some takeout! Ichimatsu-nii-san, what sounds good? Curry? Sushi? Ooh… maybe fried chicken? We don’t do that too often… might be a nice treat! Oh, it’s your call, though.”
Osomatsu gives Ichimatsu a tiny bump on the shoulder with his fist. “You and Totty figure that out while I go cut that imagawayaki for us. Be right back, guys.”
… Am I in the fucking Twilight Zone or something? What the hell???
Ichimatsu lifts his head just a little, looking at all his brothers. Totty’s on his phone looking at delivery options, Osomatsu is headed to the kitchen, Jyushimatsu is nuzzled against his side…
None of them are leaving him by himself. They all still want to be here even when his mood sucks ass. Even when he can’t really do anything for himself. Even when he’s being a huge fucking pain and a thorn in their sides and doing literally nothing to contribute to the day.
What the hell are they all doing? Why are they all fine with wasting their day taking care of him?
When Karamatsu presses a couple of tissues into his hand, Ichimatsu somehow finds the energy to use them to wipe his face. Fuck, he hates crying, and he hates people seeing him cry. “Don’t do this,” he mumbles. “You’re fucking morons. You have better shit to do than…”
“No way!” Jyushimatsu aggressively snuggles against the side of Ichimatsu’s stomach, circling his arms around his brother’s waist. “What better shit could weeeee have to do? We’re shitty NEETs!”
Choromatsu chuckles. “Besides, there’s literally nothing more important than taking care of each other, especially when one of us is down and out. Ichimatsu, you… know none of us are shy when it comes to being honest. So, just… try to believe us when we say there’s nothing we’d rather be doing than being with you right now.”
He straightens up, then gingerly taps Jyushimatsu with his foot. “Hey, Jyushi, how about you scoot yourself and Ichimatsu over to the kotatsu? And Totty, are you really gonna make a delivery driver come out in this weather? It’s almost below freezing! Why don’t you go get it yourself?”
“Excuse you, but if they haven’t shut down the delivery option, why shouldn’t I take advantage of it? I don’t wanna leave Ichimatsu-nii-san!”
“Okay, okay… I guess that’s fair. What are you ordering, again?”
“Aaaah, I dunno! I was waiting for Ichimatsu-nii-san to say what he feels like.”
Meanwhile, Jyushimatsu has somehow gotten himself and Ichimatsu over to the kotatsu, and is currently shoving his big brother’s legs under it while Choromatsu moves to plug it in. “Home run, YEAH! Your tootsies will be toasty in no time, Ichimatsu-nii-san!”
“O-oh… thanks, Jyushi…” That’s about all he can say, really. He’s slumped over the table in a matter of seconds, and although there’s no way it can support the weight of everything he feels like he’s being crushed under, feels a little more relaxing than holding himself in a tight ball in the corner.
He’s going to cry again. He’s pretty sure he’s going to cry again. His brothers, his selfish, douche-a-holic, demon brothers… would rather be taking care of him on a bad day than out doing their own things, not touching him or his shitty mood with a ten-foot pole.
Jyushimatsu is cuddled up on one side, and he can feel Karamatsu settling in on the other with an arm around Ichimatsu’s shoulders. That’s it. He’s surrounded by brothers and their warm, selfless-for-once-in-their-lives affection. He has to surrender. He doesn’t stand a chance.
His mind drifts back to the others. “Oh… Totty…”
“Oh! Yeah, mhm?”
“Um… curry sounds good, I guess.”
The impossibly huge smile on his youngest brother’s face comes through even when he speaks. “Oh, great! Curry it is! Okaaaay, I’m gonna get it from that nice place in town. You want it with rice or udon? Or do you want curry bread?”
“Uhh… just with rice.”
“Rice, okay, sounds good! Beef, chicken, or pork?”
“Huh… you mentioned fried chicken, now that sounds good. Does that place do curry rice with tonkatsu on top?”
“Oooh… that does sound good. Yeah, I think there’s an option for that. Chicken tonkatsu with curry rice, then?”
“Yeah.”
“Gotcha. Is that what everybody wants?”
“Yeah, Totty,” Choromatsu injects, “just order the same thing for everybody. We’ll all eat that.”
“Okay, what about sides? Does anyone want fukujinzuke or rakkyō?”
“Geez, just… just get half of each and we can divide it up if anyone wants any.”
“Okaaay! I’m not ordering drinks from there, though… too expensive. We have tea here. Oh, I’ll get a few orders of pork curry bread, too, in case we want a snack later.”
“Well, make sure you get either three or six.”
“Yeahhhh, Cherrymatsu, I’m not stupid! I’ll just get three; I’m fine buying some, but I’m not trying to go broke! Does that sound okay, Ichimatsu-nii-san? The curry bread for later?”
It takes a moment, but finally Ichimatsu lets out a breathy, almost tearful laugh as he leans against Karamatsu’s shoulder. “Totty… you’re trying to fatten me up… you witch… you’re gonna cook me and eat me… that’s your plan, huh?…”
The whole room erupts into a small fit of laughter, even Totty who’s blushing at being teased. Ichimatsu feels Karamatsu press a kiss to his head, and he sighs. Usually he wouldn’t be able to take all of this… the attention, and Totty blabbering away, and Choromatsu trying to be responsible, and… everything.
At the moment, it feels right. Like things are supposed to be this way. Like he’s supposed to be having a bad day so his brothers can all gather around him and remind him that regardless of anything else, when one of them needs their brothers, everyone is going to be there.
Maybe he needed that reminder.
Maybe they all did.
