BHOC: INCREDIBLE HULK #230

This next issue of INCREDIBLE HULK was eminently forgettable, and so I forgot about it almost entirely until we reprinted it in a MARVEL MASTERWORKS volume a year or so back. It was a fill-in job, a break in the ongoing storylines and continuity, and so it didn’t have all that much to offer to me as a reader. It was a nice enough diversion, but little more. Hello, hello! I haven’t posted in a while and it shows. I’ve been pretty busy these last few weeks with many things and most notably projects, but for now let me share something I’ve been participating in.

Sketch-a-day is a sub event happening in Sade’s Discord community, where you supposedly sketch every day for a month straight, a task I seem to be failing at quite frequently seen by me doing most of said sketches the day they’re due 😅. Nonetheless this event has been an indispensable one, as I was going through an art block by the end of June, so doing these little sketches helped get me back into the drawing habit I very much needed at the time. By the time I’m making this post I’m finishing off week three of making these silly little sketches but I decided to share what I have done like they were shown originally, so on each Sunday for approximately 4 weeks I’ll be sharing a weeks worth of doodles that can hopefully give someone a cackle or a smile if I can :)

Rosa was on duty and the campus was full of students, but when Emmy encounters Dean Delmona in the Japanese version he says he had promised to give Layton the next few days off. Whether the classes were actually cancelled before Layton left is unclear but I’d say this one is on the Dean and not on Layton.
