meet my OC with Invisibility, Josiah Lowell!
He's a third year college student at the Franco Dale Learning Institute majoring in philosophy.
Josiah woke up one morning with no reflection, and without knowing whether or not it was permanent, he stayed at home for 8 panic-stricken days trying to figure out what to do. The invisibility spells come and go, happening often at random and inconvenient times. It's hard to tell what exactly triggers them.
Outside of the inconvenience, the invisibility spells had no lasting damage... at least, not at first. With each spell, his vision continues to get worse and his sense of touch begins to dwindle. It's scary, but at least he has people around him that care about him and are there for him.

Where In The World...
... Do The Duggars Live? (As of April 2021)
By request, this Ask will list where each Duggar Couple lives—city, county, and state, not addresses—and their proximity to The Big House. I’ve also included a few fun facts, along the way. Here we go!
Jim Bob + Michelle (Ruark) Duggar, along with all the Unmarried Children—Jana, Jer, Jason, James, Jackson, Johannah, Jennifer, Jordyn, and Josie, and Tyler—live in Tontitown (Springdale), Washington County, Arkansas, in a steel–frame dwelling, nicknamed “The Tinker Toy House”—or, more simply, “The Big House.” The house is a whopping 7,064 Sq. Feet, with 4 Bedrooms—Master, Guest, Girls, and Boys—and 7.5 Bathrooms, situated on 20 Acres. Jim Bob + Michelle bought the property in March 2000. (At the time, it housed a chicken hatchery.) A few years later, Jim Bob had the idea of developing the plot to be the family compound... And, The Duggar Compound was born! After years of construction, The Big House was completed in January 2006. The family has lived there ever since. (Besides that brief stint while Josie was in NICU, when the family temporarily relocated to Little Rock’s historic Cornish House.)
Josh + Anna (Keller) Duggar, and their 6 Children, live in what Duggar Data is calling “The Warehouse.” (Note—On the show, the Duggars have referred to it as “The Guesthouse.” However, they’ve also used that term to refer to another Duggar–owned house near The Compound. To avoid any confusion, I’ve given both homes district nicknames, and won’t refer to either as “The Guesthouse.”) The Warehouse is a literal warehouse; however, some of its 4,800 Square Feet has been converted into a residential unit with unknown specifications. Josh + Anna's prior residence sold on May 31, 2019—so, Duggar Data thinks they’ve lived in The Warehouse since June 2019–ish.
The Warehouse is on The Compound, ~150 Yards from The Big House.
John + Abbie (Burnett) Duggar, plus Gracie, live in a Single–Wide, Double–Length Mobile Home in Springdale, Washington County, Arkansas. They’ve parked the trailer on a ~2.5 Acre, commercially–zoned parcel, owned by Jim Bob + Michelle. (The parcel’s primary building is actually rented to a church. Sort of a fun fact!) Duggar Data thinks they’ve lived there continuously since their marriage, and suspects John lived there alone, before that.
It’s an ~6.6 Mile Drive from John + Abbie’s Trailer to The Big House.
(Note—John also owns a house in Rogers, Benton County; however, he rents that place out and doesn’t live there.)
Jill (Duggar) + Derick Dillard, plus their 2 Boys, live in Lowell, AR in Benton County, in a home they purchased in April 2019. It’s a 3 Bed, 2 Bath, ~1,500 Square Foot house, and was New Construction when purchased.
Jill + Derick’s Home is an ~11.5 Mile Drive from The Big House.
Jessa (Duggar) + Ben Seewald, plus their 3 Children, reside in Fayetteville, Washington County, AR. They’ve lived in the same 1,044 Sq. Foot, 2 Bed, 1 Bath house since Jessa + Ben’s Marriage in 2014. Initially, they didn’t own it; Grandma Mary actually owned it. However, Grandma Mary sold the home to Jessa + Ben in June 2017 for $100,000, per public records. (There’s a rumor I’ve heard repeated a lot that they bought it for $1. This is simply untrue. It’s clearly documented as a $100,000 sale in public records.)
Fun Fact about Jessa + Ben’s Home: Grandma Mary actually purchased this house from Garrett + Ethyl Ruark (AKA Michelle’s Parents) in 2007. So, it has actually belonged to both set of grandparents.
Jessa + Ben’s Home (Previously Grandma Mary’s Home, then Josh + Anna’s Home) is a ~7 Mile Drive from The Big House.
Jinger (Duggar) + Jeremy Vuolo, plus their daughters, currently rent a home located in North Hollywood, Los Angeles County, CA. The house has 4 Beds and 2 Baths, is 2,040 Sq. Feet, and was built in 1953. They moved in in June 2019. (Note—It’s widely–thought that Grace Community Church owns Jinger + Jeremy’s Rental House; however, I was unable to confirm this.)
The Vuolos’ L.A. Rental is a 1,547 Mile Drive from The Big House.
Joe + Kendra (Caldwell) Duggar, plus their growing brood, live in what we’ll call “the Log Cabin.” The Log Cabin is located on The Duggar Compound (in Tontitown, Washington County, AR). It’s 2,040 Sq. Feet. Duggar Data is a bit unclear on the exact ownership of the Cabin. Obviously, it’s treated as Joe + Kendra’s House, but property records seem to indicate it’s actually owned by Jim Bob + Michelle. (And the land it’s sitting on in definitely owned by J.B. + Michelle; there was no transfer of land to Joe + Kendra, whatsoever.)
The Log Cabin is located on The Compound, ~230 Yards from the Big House.
Josiah + Lauren (Swanson) Duggar, and Baby Bella, also rent their home, at the time being. Their Rental Home is located in Lowell, Benton County, AR. It boasts 1,364 Sq. Feet, 2+ Beds / 2 Baths, and was built in 1998.
Fun Fact: Per public records, Josiah + Lauren recently—like, within the last 6 Months—bought two vacant residential parcels of land in Benton County, AR. Also... Lauren’s Dad, Katey Nakatsu’s Dad, and Jed have also bought land in the same general area, recently. Dwain Swanson actually owns 6 Parcels!)
Josiah + Lauren’s Rental is a 13.9 Mile Drive to the Big House.
Joy–Anna (Duggar) + Austin Forsyth, plus Gideon and Evy, currently live in Fayetteville, Washington County, AR. They bought their house in September 2019. At the time, it was owned by Joy’s Parents, who purchased it in 2010. Joy + Austin’s House was built in 1958; it has an Unknown # of Bedrooms, 3 Bathrooms, and 1,688 Sq. Feet.
Fun Fact: Joy + Austin’s House is directly next door to Cousin Amy’s House. Jim Bob + Michelle previously owned both parcels. (Actually, most likely, the parcels were split off a larger tract of land.) Jim Bob + Michelle also own the 20+ Acres of undeveloped land in the immediate vicinity of both houses, and plan to develop that property into a luxury campground and RV resort.
Joy + Austin’s House is a 10.1 Mile Drive from The Big House.
Jedidiah + Katey (Nakatsu) Duggar... We don’t really know, yet. However, I suspect they’re living in the house on–site at the Duggars’ Car Lot (Champion Motorcars). Some tabloids have been claiming that Jim Bob + Michelle ‘gave’ Jed + Katey a house, and the house the articles refer to is, in fact, the Car Lot House. Well... There’s no evidence that Jim Bob + Michelle transferred / sold that house to Jed + Katey. (Jim Bob + Michelle definitely still own it, actually.) But, Duggar Data noticed something odd: The Caldwell Family used to live in The Car Lot House. (Their home is shown multiple times on Counting On and it’s definitely the same house.) However, my sleuthing suggests they recently moved... Like, in December 2020 or Early 2021. Based on this, and the fact that Jed is involved in running the car lot... My theory is that Jed + Katey are now living in the Car Lot House. (And, I’m pretty sure the Caldwells are now living in a house owned by Joe + Kendra in Siloam Springs...)
The Car Lot House is a 4.5 Mile Drive to the Big House.
Justin + Claire (Spivey) Duggar. Ironically, despite the fact that they started this whole Ask, I don’t actually know where they’re living. Somewhere in TX, apparently, near Claire’s Parents. Claire’s Parents live in Cresson, Parker, TX, which is in the Greater Fort Worth Area. I was unable to find any property in Justin or Claire’s Names, so I’m pretty sure they don’t own a house yet. I’m guessing that they’re renting, for now.
Cresson, TX is an ~395 Mile Drive to The Big House.
TL;DR: Distance to The Big House—
150 Yards Josh + Anna
230 Yards Joe + Kendra
4.5 Miles Jed + Katey
6.6 Miles John + Abbie
7.0 Miles Jessa + Ben
10.1 Miles Joy + Austin
11.5 Miles Jill + Derick
13.9 Miles Josiah + Lauren
~395 Miles Justin + Claire
1,547 Miles Jinger + Jeremy

Zidane Tribal I'm basic forgive me
OH BABE. I'M BASIC. I WAS PRAYING I'D GET ZIDANIEL.
favorite thing about them: PROTECT GIRLS and SACRIFICE. All you need to know about Zidane’s character is right there in his abilities. You take damage in place of a girl AND THEN (people don’t talk about sacrifice enough????) Zidane KO’s himself, WILLINGLY, to give FULL HP and MP to ALL your party members. ALL OF THEM. I love him so much. Also you wanna know my favorite thing about Zidane? It’s every second of his existence. Replay the whole game there you go. I need a separate post to rant about him.
least favorite thing about them: I don’t dislike anything about Zidane or more so I wouldn’t change anything about his character. I would slap him over the head for a few things (coping a feel in Dali...) but in a motherly-Baku kind of way.
favorite line: This is gonna be lines cause I’ve got a few.
“Hey, I’m not the idiot with the loud voice, and the dirty, rusty armor.”
“It’s gonna be hard... but I’ve got my friends. It isn’t so bad.”
“No one’s useless...”
“So even if we are born to die, I’m not afraid. I’m gonna live!”
“Alright then, Your Highness! I shall hereby do my best to kidnap you!"
“I beseech thee, wondrous moonlight, grant me my only wish! Bring my beloved Dagger to me!
This is my ultimate fav probably: "I couldn't say anything! I had a whole speech ready for her. But it would've been a lie! How could I lie to her!? Good luck, Dagger! I'll be watching you from afar. Come find me if you need someone to talk to.’ It's a big fat lie! That's not how I feel at all! That's not how I feel...at all."
brOTP: STEINER & ZIDANE. FOREVER. NO QUESTION. Zidane & his little brother Vivi. Also Cid & Zidane. They’re an underrated dynamic. They have this weird friendship/father and son-in-law relationship that I love. Cid always bashes Zidane’s manners but also cares about him because he did his utmost to protect and escort Garnet. I love that little scene in the Desert Palace when Cid tells Zidane “And you <ribbit>! You come back safe!” Garnet is like a daughter to Cid but Zidane quickly becomes like a son to Cid too. Also Zidane & Amarant for obvious reason. Zidane & everyone in Tantalus, Zidane & Beatrix (great untapped potential). Zidane & everyone if we’re being honest.
OTP: Zidane and Garnet but of COURSE.
nOTP: Probably just Kuja or Mikoto with Zidane.
random headcanon: I got a few but this one hurts me: Even though he was four when Baku found him Zidane couldn’t/or wouldn’t talk. There wasn’t really anyone to speak to in Terra and it’s possible he was in that incubator tube thing up until Kuja took him and dropped him on Gaia so he had a slow start as a child. Even with a soul he needed to learn how to bond with others. Baku had his work cut out for him.
unpopular opinion: Zidane ain’t popular with all the ladies in Lindblum. Is this unpopular? I’m not sure. I’ve seen some interpretations of Zidane as being a legit lady killer and that he’s pretty experienced relationship wise. But I’m here to preach the truth. Zidane ain’t that good with the ladies. Ladies in Lindblum? They kick him to the street. You see that with his failed attempts with Lowell’s fangirls. Lilian in the bar quickly moves on from his little airship suggestion (she’s also into the airships not him. rip Zidane). Zidane’s character is clearly the classic girl obsessed boy troupe in Japanese media. Characters in this troupe throw their affections around but don’t usually get much back (e.g. ataru moroboshi). Though Zidane is written so he doesn’t have the “pervert” aspect of the troupe either. Besides accidently touching Garnet on the ladder all but I argue he did it on accident. All of Zidane’s flirting is just empty air, he doesn’t expect any returned affection. Disc 1 he makes little flirts with Garnet but nothing serious and he gives attention to other girls too. He flirts with and teases Garnet much harder, to almost annoying degrees, on Disc 2 because he’s legitimately fallen for her but hasn’t admitted it to himself or even realized it. (And I think he’s also trying to mess with her to distract her from everything that’s happened with Brahne). The fact that he’s so oblivious to his own serious feelings about Garnet really shows that, as Blank said, “he’s never had a serious relationship before.” He’s 16, never been in love, and never opened up before. Maybe he’s had a few successes in getting a girl on a date but with his deeper vulnerabilities, insecurities, and loneliness still so closed up at the start of the game it seemed to me like he’s obviously only had surface level relationships with any girls before Garnet. She forces him to open up and reevaluate himself. As Zidane falls harder for Garnet he stops his teasing and outside flirting (Lani is the last girl he flirts with) and by Disc 3 he’s “honest with himself” as he says, that he loves her, and will do whatever he can to help her and be with her. TL;DR: Zidane’s a virgin *drops mic*
song i associate with them: YORUWA HONOKA by Eve (about his inner insecurities); Ballad of the Windfish Cover by Michelle Heafy and Josiah Everhart (been thinking of Zidane/Garnet for this one); Blue Sky by Tsutomu Narita (This ONE is SO Zidane. I always use it when writing him). And Misekake No Love Song by indigo la End
favorite picture of them: Zidenny. My beloved.
I hate this image it haunts me. Now you have to look at it too.
Okay but actually this art by you @anubis-005 is my favorite for real. Like WOW I gotta lie down. I think of this picture everyday of my life
THANK YOU FOR THIS ASK.

verena, what's the scoop on this year's tributes??
OH. MY. GOD. Listen up EVERYONE because the 78th Hunger Games are bound to be the best, most dramatic Games YET. We are talking siblings and significant others of past tributes (MULTIPLE ONES), a couple of the cutest little girls I’ve ever seen, and of COURSE some CRAZY FIERCE Careers!!!
District One wouldn’t be District One if there wasn’t a showstoppingly drop-dead gorgeous girl tribute volunteering to take that stage, would it?? Ashanti Simmons is ONE TO WATCH. Listen, our D1 girls have NEVER failed us and this girl is already at the top of everyone’s watch list!!
District Two keeps coming SO CLOSE and I feel it in my bones that this is the year they could take it home!!! Now I hear from my little twittering birds that Josiah Delisle is THE one and only boyfriend of our dearly departed Leon so the drama WRITES ITSELF. and SPEAKING OF DRAMA I heard a rumor of a rumor that Ingrid Bray wasn’t even supposed to be going into the Games??? It was ANOTHER girl who hit her head or something so I have a feeling Two is gonna be a WILD RIDE this year!!!
IS IT JUST ME OR DO WE HAVE A GHOST??? Demelza Oberon is the twin sister of one of our old faves from the 76th Games, Dayta!!! Her sister was, like, the smartest person to ever go through the Games so I cannot WAIT to see what kind of tricks our new girl from Three has up her sleeve. And how rare is it to get TWO volunteers from a place like Three??? I can’t wait to see what Ember Lowell has up his sleeve!!!
District Four is looking FINE this year!!! Can someone get me Kai Eldoris’s number??? You know I have a soft spot for cute ginger boys and after Landon left me high and dry last year I need a new tribute man!!! But then again Misty Shore might turn me. Homegirl is gorgeous AND a sweetie!!! Looks like District Four is going in a completely new direction with their tributes this year and I am HERE. FOR. IT.
SPEAKING OF GHOSTS. Who here remembers Ampere, AKA the girl who served some MAJOR sexual tension on the ropes course with our most recent Four victor, only to finish it off with the DRAMA of a hot makeout and HER OWN DRAMATIC DEATH. Well I think we’re about to see that same level of excitement from her sister Joule Shapiro!! It’s gotta run in the family, right???
Ok, I’m going to need someone to check in on Royce Carter. Is he ok??? Does he need, like, a glass of water or something because our new boy from Six looks out of it and to be honest??? I’ll have what he’s having!!! (Listen, I may be a shining spectacle of a blogger and human being but that doesn’t mean I don’t dabble in some fun every now and then!!!)
Rumour has it that our cute boy from D7 actually goes by Wilder, instead of the name that was called at the Reaping (Elio Sartori, btw). We love a mystery man!!! and is it me or is there some CRAZY tension between him and DP Laurel Oaken?? I don’t know about you guys, but I ship it!!
District Nine brought us another babe with two names!! Aspen Fields reportedly goes by Maisie back home! We love a cute nickname! And Couscous Dale’s brother Quinoa broke our hearts last year when he died in the bloodbath. I hope he lasts at least a teensy bit longer!!
Finley Ottern from Ten is just the cutest little bean!!! Watch out for her token; she’s brought a notebook with her so that she can tell you all her thoughts on paper, because she doesn’t like to talk out-loud. Major Hunger Games fans will recognise her surname; her brother was killed back in 69!
I’m not sure what to make of Twelve’s little one, but she’s definitely someone to keep an eye on. My friends tell me that Dahlia Hornby is wild, in a raised-by-wolves kind of way. I’m sure she’ll be just adorable beneath all that mud, though, and I for one can’t wait to see it!!

Redbirds prepare for battle against Greenville Panthers
NORMAL — Following a victory at UMass Lowell, the Illinois State Redbirds are heading back to Normal. They will start their first game of the 2020-21 season Wednesday. The Redbirds will be taking on the highly-offensive-minded Greenville University Wednesday afternoon.
Quick hits on the Redbirds
Junior guard Josiah Strong was the first awardee for Newcomer of the Week. This award was announced last week by the Missouri Valley Conference.
The Redbird team (1-1) for this season has the seventh-highest height average in program history. The average among the 15 members on the team is 6 feet, 5.80 inches.
There are no seniors on the squad this season. This marks the seventh time in program history where a squad had no seniors.
In the six prior instances with no seniors, the Redbirds would make the postseason in some manner four times. This would be regardless of the NCAA or NIT tournaments in the following season.
Illinois State is among ten NCAA Division I schools with no seniors on their roster.
With only four juniors on the squad, it is still a relatively young team. Most of the squad are either freshmen or sophomores.
Quick hits on the Panthers
Greenville University is a NCAA Division III school located in Greenville, Ill.
The Panther squad (0-3) has lost in their first three games of the season. All three schools are Division I schools. However, they are averaging 97 points per game. Unfortunately, they’re giving up an average of 161.7 points.
Greenville’s top three scorers are Kenneth Cooley, Jarred Johnson, and Romello Ball. Cooley averages 14 points per game. Johnson averages 13 points, while Ball averages 10.3 points.
All 16 members of the team have made a score this season. 12 players have hit a three-pointer.
Greenville’s most recent loss was a 173-95 bout against Murray State. Ball would score a team-best 15 points. Cooley and Kameron Vinsel would score 12 apiece. In the loss, 107 shots were taken, with 74 behind the arc.
Meanwhile, Murray State was 77-for-105 from the field. Ten members of their squad would score double figures. The scoring barrage was led by KJ Williams with 22 points.
Division I MVC vs. Division III SLIAC
The Redbirds have taken on the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference on 80 different occasions. Of the current nine SLIAC schools, the Redbirds have taken on four schools.
Overall, Illinois State holds a 54-26 record against SLIAC schools.
76 of these games were against Eureka College, where the Redbirds hold a 54-26 series record.
The remaining four games were against Iowa Wesleyan (2-0), Greenville (1-0), and Westminster College (1-0).
The Redbirds have yet to take on the other five SLIAC schools. Those are Blackburn College, Fontbonne University, Principia College, Spalding University, and Webster University.
Game time: Redbirds vs. Panthers
The game will take place at Redbird Arena Wednesday night at 5 p.m.
The nationally-televised broadcast will be on ESPN3.
Radio broadcasts will be on the Redbird Radio Network via WJBC AM 1230 and 93.7 FM. An additional broadcast will be available on TuneIn.

Charles S. Peirce, Selected Writings
Charles S. Peirce
Charles S. Peirce in the opinion of many authorities was the most profound and original philosopher that America has produced. A master of exact science, our foremost logician, the founder of pragmatism, Peirce was one of the most remarkable and versatile minds of the 19th century, whose scattered writings made important contributions to such varied fields of logic, mathematics, geodesy, religion, astronomy, chemistry, physics, psychology, history of science, metaphysics, education, semeiotics, and more. Considered by William James the most original thinker of their generation, he exerted a tremendous influence on James, Josiah Royce, John Dewey, C. I. Lewis, Ernst Schröder, among many others.Professor Wiener's well-balanced selections introduce the reader to the many sides of Peirce's thought. He presents such famous essays as "The Fixation of Belief," "How to Make Our Ideas Clear," "The Architecture of Theories," and others, along with several pieces that are not available elsewhere. Of particular interest today, when the problem of humanizing the sciences is the acute problem of our age, there are certain selections, previously neglected by students and editors of Peirce's work, which deal with the cultural or humanistic aspects of science and philosophy. The 24 selections in this book are organized into five categories: science, materialism, and idealism; pragmatism (or as Peirce preferred, pragmaticism); the history of scientific thought; science and education; and science and religion. Included are articles originally published in North American Review, Journal of Speculative Philosophy, The Monist, Popular Science Monthly, and Educational Review; extracts or transcriptions of speeches; book reviews; letters; and previously unpublished manuscripts from the Smithsonian Institution, the Lowell Institute, and the Widener Library Archives in Harvard University, Professor Wiener's excellent introduction and prefaces to the selections supply the reader with important historical and analytical background material.

how far does each duggar daughter/son in law live from their parents? (ex. john and abbie to abbie's parents)
Where In The World... Do The Duggar In–Laws Live?
[ Follow–Up to Where In The World Do The Duggars Live? ]
Good Ask, Anon! Most of the In–Laws’ Homes have been featured at least 1–2x on 19 Kids & Counting or Counting On. (And each family’s general location has definitely been discussed on the shows.) Public property records assisted me in filling in the gaps. So, without further ado—
Since 1981, Mike + Suzette Keller (Anna’s Parents) have lived in a double–wide trailer on property they own in Interlachen, Putnam County, Florida. The Keller Family Trailer has 1,248 Sq. Feet, with 3 Beds / 2 Baths. It sits on a ~5 Acre parcel, which Mike bought way back in 1978.
Josh + Anna live on the Duggar Compound in Tontitown, Washington County, Arkansas. They live ~150 Yards from Josh’s Parents, and a ~1,088 Mile Drive from Anna’s Parents.
Johnny + Cheryl Burnett (Abbie’s Parents) live in a single–family home they own in Stratford, Garvin County, Oklahoma. It has 2,991 Sq. Foot, 3 Beds / 2 Baths, and sits on a 0.48 Acre Lot. The Burnetts bought it in 1999.
John + Abbie live in a Mobile Home on Duggar–owned property in Springdale, Washington County, Arkansas. It is a ~6.6 Mile Drive to John’s Parents, and a ~252 Mile Drive to Abbie’s Parents.
Cathy Dillard–Byrum (Derick’s Mother), and Derick’s Stepfather, Ronnie, live in Cathy’s Home in Rogers, Benton County, Arkansas. Built in 1989, the home has 1,671 Sq. Feet and 2 Bathrooms, and sits on ~0.68 Acres of land. Cathy + Rick Dillard bought the house in 1989. Since Rick’s death in 2008, the home is owned 100% by Cathy, who now lives there with her 2nd Husband.
Jill + Derick own and live in a home in Lowell, Benton County, Arkansas. Their house is a ~11.5 Mile Drive to Jill’s Parents, and a ~15.8 Mile Drive to Derick’s Mom.
A few years after Ben’s Wedding, Michael + Guinn Seewald (Ben’s Parents) moved from Hot Springs, AR, to Little Rock, Pulaski County, Arkansas. They own a large Victorian–style home there. It has 3 Beds / 3 Baths across 2,618 Sq. Feet, and sits on 0.42 Acre.
Jessa + Ben live in a house they now own in Fayetteville, Washington County, Arkansas. It’s a ~7.0 Mile Drive to Jessa’s Parents, and an ~188 Mile Drive to Ben’s Parents.
Since 2002, Chuck + Diana Vuolo (Jeremy’s Parents) have lived in a house they own in Downingtown, Chester County, Pennsylvania. It is a 3 Bedroom, 1.5 Bathroom house, built in 1977, with 2,704 Sq. Feet of living space, and a 1.3 Acre lot.
As of April 2021, Jinger + Jeremy rent a home in North Hollywood, LA County, California. It’s far from either set of parents... A ~1,547 Mile Drive to Jinger’s Parents, and a ~2,692 Mile Drive to Jeremy’s Parents.
Paul + Christina Caldwell (Kendra’s Parents) moved in the last ~6 Months. Previously, they lived in the Car Lot House at Champion Motorcars, which is owned by Jim Bob + Michelle Duggar. Recently, they moved—potentially so Jed + Katey can move into the Car Lot House. Their new home is owned by Joe + Kendra, and located in Siloam Springs, Benton County, Arkansas. It’s situated on >10 Acres, in a predominantly rural location.
Joe + Kendra live in The Log Cabin (on The Duggar Compound) in Tontitown, Washington County, Arkansas. It’s ~230 Yards from Joe’s Parents, and it’s a 13.9 Mile Drive to Kendra’s Parents in Siloam Springs.
After moving to Arkansas in Late 2017 / Early 2018, Lana + Dwain Swanson (Lauren’s Parents) rented a home in Cave Springs, Benton County, and they still live there as of 2021. (Duggar Data is pretty sure...) The home has 3,468 Sq. Feet, 4 Bedrooms, and 4 Bathrooms.
Josiah + Lauren currently rent in Lowell, Benton County, Arkansas— a ~13.9 Mile Drive to Josiah’s Parents, and a ~8.7 Mile Drive to Lauren’s Parents.
Terry + Roxanne Forsyth (Austin’s Parents) live on site at Fort Rock Family Camp, which they own. The home, which they have owned since moving to Arkansas in 2002, has 2,040 Sq. Feet of living space. While it’s on the camp property—which spans >100 Acres—it’s ~0.33 Miles from the main facilities. Fun Fact: Austin’s Paternal Grandparents live next–door! (Literally, 50 Yards Away.)
Joy + Austin own a home in Fayetteville, Washington County, Arkansas. It’s a ~10.1 Mile Drive to Joy’s Parents, and a ~34.4 Mile Drive to Austin’s Parents + Paternal Grandparents.
Kory + Kerry Nakatsu (Katey’s Father and Step–Mother) moved with her to Arkansas, apparently... They bought a McMansion in Springdale, Washington County in Late December 2020, after selling their old house in Mesa, Arizona. The Nakatsus’ Arkansas Home sits on 1 Acre of land. Jed + Katey are probably living in the Car Lot House at Champion Motorcars, owned by Jed’s Parents, in Tontitown, Washington County, Arkansas. If so... It’s a ~4.5 Mile Drive to Jed’s Parents, and a ~7.6 Mile Drive to Katey’s Dad + Step–Mother.
Finally, Robert + Hilary Spivey (Claire’s Parents) live in a house they own in Cresson, Parker County, Texas. Built in 2014, it spans 2,741 Sq. Feet.
We don’t know where Justin + Claire are living, except that they’re living near Claire’s Parents. If they’re living in Cresson, it is a ~395 Mile Drive to Justin’s Parents in Arkansas.

Can UTSA rebound after such a comprehensive collapse?
Frank Wilson should once again field a sterling defense in 2019. But at some point, his Roadrunners have to score points.
Bill C’s annual preview series of every FBS team in college football continues. Catch up here!
This is my ninth year of writing this preview series for SB Nation, which means I’ve written right at around 1,000 previews at this point. After a while, you start to find that you’re putting teams into certain boxes and using certain terms as crutches. You’ve got the Hard Jobs (and there are always plenty of those as we work our way through the Sun Belt, MAC, and Conference USA). You’ve got the Year Zero situations. You’ve got the surprise underachievers and the ahead-of-schedule overachievers and the a-year-away-from-shining builders. I see a lot more patterns than I did when I started at this.
I can still be caught off-guard sometimes, though. That’s a good thing — wouldn’t want to get bored. But I can honestly say that Frank Wilson’s three-year UTSA tenure fits into no box. That would make sense, I guess, because Wilson himself doesn’t either.
Wilson was a dominant high school coach at a young age. In 2002, at age 29, he was named a Nike National Coach of the Year finalist. That suggests a certain level of tactical organization and ability to motivate. Within a couple of years, though, he had taken a left turn and had become an ace recruiter, a charismatic hired gun, for coaches like Ed Orgeron at Ole Miss, Lane Kiffin at Tennessee, and, for six seasons, Les Miles at LSU.
Wilson took the UTSA job in December of 2015, signed seven three-star prospects for his makeshift 2016 class, then signed 14 in 2017 and 16 in 2018. Considering what he was inheriting — UTSA had slipped from seven wins to four to three in Larry Coker’s final two seasons — it was easy to try to put him in a P.J. Fleck-like, “strip the depth chart down to the studs, then build anew with better prospects” box. Only, he doubled the Roadrunners’ win total in his very first year, then held steady with six more wins in year two.
At that point, it was easy to see him as a rising star. He was winning more games than expected, and his recruiting hadn’t even really kicked in! He had the tactical chops and the ability to attract talent, a rare combination.
Then UTSA went 3-9 in 2018. And it wasn’t a “young players start slowly, then begin to develop and improve” 3-9. It wasn’t a “one unit briefly collapses, then starts to rebound” 3-9. It was a rousing thud of a 3-9, a “should have been 2-10” 3-9. UTSA’s offense went from bad to second-worst in FBS. The defense, which had soared to 34th in Def. S&P+ in 2017, crashed to 103rd.
There were injuries and youth, sure. The quarterback position and receiving corps were revolving doors, and with what UTSA had to replace heading into 2018 — nearly the entire starting offense and a good chunk of the defensive two-deep — regression was imminent. I titled last year’s preview “UTSA starts over again,” after all.
But there’s regression, and there’s this. You want to get better as the year goes on, but after a 3-3 start, the Roadrunners lost their next five games by an average score of 36-6 before playing well in a season-ending loss to North Texas.
Worse, they don’t head into 2019 with as many rising stars as you’d hope to see after good recruiting and a youth movement. There’s some reason for hope on defense, but UTSA still has to replace last year’s top two havoc producers.
This wasn’t a reset, it was a collapse. There are still plenty of former three-star prospects in the chamber, plus some intriguing JUCOs like former LSU quarterback Lowell Narcisse. But after earning tons of benefit-of-the-doubt in his first two seasons, Wilson spent all of it in 2018. And I have no idea where things go from here.
Offense
What do you get when you combine an almost completely new starting lineup with an aging new offensive coordinator who hasn’t actually coordinated a good offense in quite some time? You get an offensive radar chart that looks like an imploded star.
Wilson had originally hired Frank Scelfo as his first OC; Scelfo inherited an offense that had averaged a 118 ranking in Off. S&P+ in the two years before his arrival, and his two UTSA offense averaged a 113 ranking. He was relieved of his duties and replaced with ... Al Borges.
The nicest thing I could say about the 63-year old former Michigan and Auburn offensive coordinator in last year’s preview was that, “when he has a bell cow, he knows how to use him.” I noted that in running back Jalen Rhodes, he might have someone capable of taking on a large load and thriving.
Rhodes did not thrive, averaging six carries per game and 3.7 yards per carry. B.J. Daniels averaged 7.3 and 3.7, respectively. With no run game of which to speak, Borges had to turn UTSA into a pass-first attack; the Roadrunners had neither the quarterbacks nor the receiving targets to pull that off.

Cordale Grundy
So now Borges is gone, as are Rhodes, at least one of the many QBs who got a chance in the lineup (then-senior D.J. Gillins), and No. 1 target Greg Campbell Jr., who produced an extremely replaceable 11.3 yards per catch and 7 yards per target. The offense won’t miss any of those folks all that much, but that doesn’t automatically mean their replacements will do any better.
Wilson went younger this time, promoting receivers coach Jeff Kastl to the OC job. Kastl was Chad Henne’s backup at Michigan when the Wolverines nearly made the BCS title game in 2006, and he served time as a GA or analyst at Auburn, Michigan, and LSU (where he met Wilson). He certainly didn’t do much as receivers coach and passing game coordinator last year, but we’ll see what he can do with full rein.
He’ll have plenty of former star recruits itching to make an impression and plenty of unproven options within each unit.
At QB, senior Cordale Grundy, junior Bryce Rivers, redshirt freshman Jordan Weeks, former LSU backup Lowell Narcisse, and incoming freshman Suddin Sapien could all be in the mix. Grundy got the most playing time last year, and Rivers looked the best, albeit in a small sample: he was 20-for-32 for 269 yards, one TD, and one INT in the near-upset of North Texas.
At RB, he’s got Daniels as the returning leader, but other names are intriguing. Sophomore Brendan Brady rushed 11 times for 89 yards against UNT, senior Deven Boston was a mid-three-star JUCO recruit who missed last season with injury, and another couple of three-star freshmen (Sincere McCormick and Ronnie Jackson) come to town this fall.
At WR, there are plenty of star recruits who need to cash in on that potential. Tykee Ogle-Kellogg averaged a team-leading 12.8 yards per catch but with a dreadful 38 percent catch rate. Fellow sophomores Tariq Woolen and Sheldon Jones combined for a 50 percent catch rate and 9.3 yards per catch. Less heralded veterans like Blaze Moorhead and Kirk Johnson Jr. are still around, too. No one has proven much of anything.
At OL, seven players return with starting experience (65 career starts). Wilson added a couple of JUCO transfers to the mix as well; they’ll have plenty of opportunities to earn starting roles.

Tykee Ogle-Kellogg
Lofty recruiting rankings mean you’ll always be considered to have potential. Therefore this offense has plenty of it. But Kastl has absolutely nothing proven to lean on and has to hope that last year’s ineptness has turned this group into a weathered, chip-on-shoulder group that rises together. Hard to count on that, though.
Defense
Here’s my positive spin for describing UTSA’s defensive collapse: at least only one part of the defense collapsed!
The Roadrunners’ defensive run game remained solid in 2018, ranking 61st in Rushing S&P+, allowing four or more yards on just 43 percent of non-sack carries (23rd) and stuffing ball carriers at or behind the line 22 percent of the time (37th). Granted, a lot of those stuffs came from seniors who aren’t around anymore — linebackers Josiah Tauaefa and Les Maruo, weakside safety Darryl Godfrey, tackle Kevin Strong Jr. — but not all of them. The Roadrunners got contributions from quite a few linemen, and Strong’s is potentially the only departure.
So there’s that!
Scott Sewell-USA TODAY Sports
Cassius Grady
For that matter, the Roadrunners also got a pretty sterling contribution from cornerback Cassius Grady, who got burned here and there but managed to combine 3.5 tackles for loss with four interceptions and five breakups.
Still, even with Grady and a decent pass rush, UTSA’s pass defense disintegrated. The Roadrunners allowed a 65 percent completion rate (125th) and ranked 124th in Passing S&P+. Defensive coordinator Jason Rollins lined his corners up tight on the line of scrimmage and tried to get aggressive (five DBs made at least 3.5 TFLs each, which you don’t see often), but outside of Grady, they didn’t make enough plays to offset the ones they were giving up.
Experience should be Rollins’ friend, though. Losing Tauaefa and Maruo (a.k.a. the LBs who saw nearly every snap of the season) hurts, but the front and back of the defense boast plenty of veterans.
Up front, Lorenzo Dantzler leads a deep set of defensive ends — he and DeQuarius Henry combined for 13.5 TFLs and 7.5 sacks, and senior Jarrod Carter-McLin is solid against the run — and while losing Strong hurts, senior tackle King Newton is a keeper.
In the back, the Roadrunners have to replace Godfrey and free safety C.J. Levine, but Carl Austin III returns after missing 2018 with injury, and his 2017 production was extremely similar to Levine’s. And every cornerback returns, for better or worse.
This defense will be heavy on juniors and seniors who were in last year’s rotation, and they add former Virginia linebacker Dominic Sheppard, former Arizona cornerback Antonio Parks, and a pair of three-star JUCOs (linebacker Trevor Harmanson and safety SaVion Harris) as well. This will be a seasoned and solid unit.
Special Teams
UTSA had its second straight awesome special teams unit in 2018 (22nd in Special Teams S&P+), and one-half of the reasons for that success returns.
The Roadrunners were 18th in field goal efficiency and 25th in punt efficiency; place-kicker Jared Sackett (9-for-14 on field goals longer than 40 yards) is back, but punter Yannis Routsas (40.4 average with almost no returnable kicks) isn’t. Return man Matt Guidry is solid, too, so this should be a solid unit again.

I just don’t know.
The UTSA defense should be pretty good again in 2019, boasting a combination of experience and upside that few in Conference USA can match. The corners did indeed get burned a lot, but they have quantity on their side — if the veterans don’t work out, there are quite a few three-star youngsters waiting for a chance. And the line could be disruptive enough to help them out. I don’t have many worries there.
Or at least, I don’t have as many worries as on offense. It’s just a giant pile of rubble. High-upside rubble, sure, but this unit has almost no proven entities to lean on. All that strong recruiting produced almost nothing of note.
There’s still time, though. Kastl’s offense will boast a lot of sophomores with potential, and while that probably only means so much for 2019, there’s still time to build continuity and something of a track record.
S&P+ is bearish. It’s probably underselling the defense a bit, and D alone could earn a few wins against a schedule that features five opponents projected worse than 100th. But it’s not forecasting much from a team that so thoroughly bottomed out last year.
Wilson surprised me (for good reasons) not too long ago, and he could again. He better, at least.

“Cara Flannery, farei meglio a darti mie notizie. Elizabeth e io siamo separati.
New York Review of Books”.
*
Lowell era uomo audace e complicato, fiero e contraddittorio. Fu poeta. Leggiamolo. (d.b.)

Mr. Edwards e il ragno
Vidi i ragni camminare nell’aria, galleggiando d’albero in albero quel giorno stantio del tardo agosto quando il fieno giungeva cigolando al fienile. Ma dove il vento è dell’ovest, dove il nocchioso novembre fa volare i ragni nelle apparizioni del cielo, essi cercano soltanto pace e muoiono presto dirigendosi a levante, verso l’alba e il mare;
