Summary: During a game night with the other WAGs, Y/n and her friends try a viral TikTok trend where they all take pregnancy tests for fun. What starts as a joke quickly turns serious when one test comes back positive.

Y/n never expected a TikTok trend would change her life.

It had started as just another night with the WAGs watching the Senators game, sipping wine and screaming at the TV whenever the refs made a bad call. At some point, between debating whether Josh would score and roasting one of the girls’ husbands for missing an open net, someone pulled out their phone.

“Okay, have you guys seen this trend?” she asked, showing them a TikTok of a group of friends all taking pregnancy tests, mixing them up, and revealing the results together. Apparently just for fun.

“This is so dumb,” Y/n laughed.

And yet, somehow, twenty minutes later, they were all in the bathroom, giggling as they lined up pregnancy tests on the counter and waited.

Then the timer went off.

Someone flipped the tests over.

And one of them was positive.

The laughter immediately died.

The girls all stared at each other, wide-eyed.

“Okay,” someone finally said. “Whose is it?”

Silence.

“We should… probably do another round,” one of the girls suggested hesitantly.

No one argued.

A few minutes later, they each took another test, this time keeping their own before setting them down and waiting.

The timer beeped.

One by one, they picked up their sticks.

Y/n looked down at hers.

Two strong pink lines.

“Oh my God,” she whispered.

She slowly lifted her head, feeling every heartbeat in her chest. The girls’ eyes were locked on her, a mix of excitement and shock in their expressions.

“Y/n,” one of them murmured, “you’re pregnant.”

Now, sitting alone in the apartment, Y/n stared at the positive test on the coffee table.

Pregnant. She and Josh were going to have a baby.

The front door suddenly opened, and his familiar voice filled the space. “Babe, I’m home!”

Her heart jumped. She wasn’t ready to tell him.

Y/n quickly grabbed the test and shoved it behind a pillow as Josh walked in, dropping his bag by the door. The second he saw her, he paused, brows pulling together.

“What’s up?” he asked, eyeing her suspiciously.

“What do you mean?” she asked, a little too quickly.

Josh squinted. “You look… weird.”

Y/n forced a laugh. “Weird? That’s rude.”

He smirked. “No, like, you’re suspicious weird.”

Sucking in a deep breath, she grabbed the test and held it out to him.

Josh stared at it at first and then at her. Then back at the test.

“No way.”

Y/n bit her lip. “Way.”

Josh blinked. His mouth opened. Closed. Opened again.

Then, without warning, he grabbed her by the waist and lifted her off the ground, spinning her around. “Are you serious?”

She laughed, wrapping her arms around him. “Very serious.”

When he finally set her down, his hands cradled her face, his eyes wide with disbelief and excitement. “We’re having a baby?”

She nodded, grinning. “Yeah, Josh. We are.”

A laugh left his lips before he kissed her, deep and slow, like he was trying to soak in every second of this moment.

When he finally pulled back, his forehead pressed against hers, his voice still filled with awe. “How, how did you even find out?”

Y/n hesitated.

“…So, funny story,”

Josh groaned. “Oh no.”

You should’ve known you would see him again, it was an alumni event after all.

You’d tried avoiding him at all costs, not sure your heart could take seeing him. You’d seen Quinn, Strauss and Will but no sign of Josh and just when you thought maybe you’d gotten away with it he appeared right before you.

“Hey!”

You stepped back, a little shocked to see him suddenly appear before you.

“Hey Josh…” you muttered, your fingers now intertwined, something you did when you were nervous.

He cleared his throat, sensing your uncomfortableness “How have you been?”

You sigh “Listen, it’s nice to see you but I gotta-“

His hand clasps onto your arm “I’m sorry, I know I said I would be there when you need it but-“

You all but growl back “you weren’t. That’s the thing. You weren’t. Josh just leave me alone ok? I- I’m tired of feeling like I need to avoid you, like I did something wrong! You were the one who just up and left then I came to Ottawa, to see you! I had nothing else out there but I came to see you and you pretended like I didn’t exist” you sniffled

Josh’s face was covered in worry as he watched you

“You pretended like I didn’t exist! I sat by myself in the stands, I went out after by myself so you could go with your friends! Then I came to your place and you had a girl over-“

“She wasn’t-“ he interrupted and you nearly screamed

“I don’t care who she was Josh! The point is I was there for you, all the time people thought we were dating and I liked you just for you to do this to me”

Josh watched with a broken heart as you walked off, wiping your eyes.

He followed you, out into the parking lot before he shouted your name

“Don’t do this! We deserve better!” He called and you rolled your eyes

“I deserved better Josh!”

“You did, you do!” He yells, walking towards you “And there’s probably a million people who could give you better but I know there’s nobody in this world who loves you like I do”

You sniffle, wiping your nose on the back of your hand “You let me down”

He closes his eyes, trying not to get upset “I know and I’m sorry, I really can’t apologize enough to you for everything I did but what I want is to have the chance to prove to you that I deserve to love you because I do, with my whole heart”

His words made your head hurt, all of your emotions at the forefront of your mind until you just started sobbing. He didn’t know what to do, a little taken aback before he reached out and just held you.

In his arms you felt safe, in his arms it was warm. Josh was safe, he was warm.

“I love you, Josh” you sobbed quietly.

His heart swelled “I love you more than you’ll ever know”

the second he got home from his training session that day you could tell something was off about him. josh was a little less talkative than he normally was and after eating something he made a bee line for the bedroom.

knowing he needed his space sometimes, you let him be, opting to get work done around the house. wandering into the bedroom a few hours later you notice him sitting on the bed with tear stained cheeks.

"hey, hey what's wrong?" you quickly kneel in front of him. you take his head in your hands making him look at you. he was hurting you could feel it.

"i- i" he started but then stopped again, a certain kind of fear rising in his chest mad him start to panic. you physically could feel the pain oozing off him. your heart ached for your love.

"josh, hey, look at me." you wipe his tears with your thumbs, waiting for him to make eye contact with you. when he finally does, you continue "take a deep breath."

you guide him through a couple of breathing exercises that you had learned over the years and got him calm enough for coherent words to flow through his lips.

"i don't know if i can go back." josh confessed. he took your hands and held them in his lap, his focus now on them and not you. "i don't know."

he was worried about going back to work after an injury that had taken him out for a while. although the injury was healed and over the course of the summer he had rehabbed and gotten the major kinks worked out, there was always that fear there.

"why couldn't you go back? they cleared you months ago. and you've been working so hard." josh didn't respond right away, and you could tell he was going to break down again. "please don't do that. please talk to me about it."

"what if i'm not good enough anymore? what if i can't do what they want me to do or i'm not the same player anymore? what if i get hurt again?" he sounded like a kid who fell off his bike and was scared to get back on and try again.

"did something happen today?" you questioned further wanting to get to the root of the issue.

"there was a twinge in my shoulder today. it was a basic drill and i wasn't doing much. but i felt it and it scared me."

"I'm so sorry honey." you felt for him, but not really knowing how to help situation. "is there anything I can do right now to help?"

"hold me?" you didn't hesitate to give him what he wanted, comfort. crawling onto the bed next to him, you pulled him in close as you wrapped your arms around him. closing your eyes you started to hum.

sorry for being MIA i’m just busy w school but eee i was rewatching challengers and this idea came to me,, i was planning on a galex x reader one but im not sure if everyone would prefer piarles x reader (lmk pls! but i think im leaning towards george and alex)

basically the reader is tashi and was recognised as one of the biggest young talents coming through motorsports (like young max verstappen vibes), she was really fast and climbing through the ranks in karting and f2 and befriended george and alex (eventually dating one of them) and made it to formula 1 the same year as the 2019 rookies but then sustained an injury from a crash with one of the boys,, that depends on who is who. i’m not sure if i want alex to be patrick and george be art, or the opposite (also lmk ur opinions pls!).

im thinking alex as patrick just so i can do the whole them not seeing each other for so long through him being dropped by red bull and just extend the period of time it took for him to reach williams and then him coming back is them all reuniting and leading to present day. anyways basically same premise as the movie obv,, reader and (probably) george are in a long term relationship (rather than married) and (probably) alex comes back onto the scene in the williams seat which gags everyone and then yk kinda same premise as movie.

also if george is the art character then reader would be toto’s daughter (wolff!reader) to really emphasise that like power couple thing art and tashi had going on in the media, like mercedes golden boy and girl!

also can you just imagine the galex angst! childhood best friends to strangers </3.

i wish i was patient enough or had enough time to actually write this series and not just make a social media au, but if any writers are invested enough and would write this then feel free to just take this idea bc i’d love to read it and you’d probably do it more justice then i will hahah! 🎾💌🏎️🦢

Secret Pregnancy

I am currently in Florida with my family and Josh, along with our son y/s/n, who is now 3 years old.

The boys decided to bring y/s/n on the ice today so they could teach him how to play hockey, especially since Matthew Only had a game tonight. 

I am also 5 Months pregnant, thankfully my bump wasn’t big yet so I could still hide it. Josh and I wanted to keep this baby a secret especially since my family was really protective when I was pregnant with Y/s/n. I was wearing some biker shorts with a baby shirt today.

Emma, Taryn, my mom and I are sitting in the stands watching the boys teach Y/s/n how to play. Y/s/n loves watching his dad and uncle play so I have a feeling he’s going to make it far with hockey.

The girls and I are talking about pretty much everything. My mom tells stories of how it was when she watched my dad first teach Matthew and Brady.

“It’s adorable isn’t it, watching Josh teach him how to play?” My mom asked me, smiling.

The biggest smile made its way on my face.

“Yeah, and he loves it, he’s excited to teach this little one too” I said without thinking and putting my hand on my bump. The girls gasped.

“What?” Taryn asked, surprised.

My eyes widened

Crap I wasn’t supposed to tell them.

“You’re pregnant?” my mom asked with teary eyes.

 “I wasn’t supposed to tell you” I said

“Why not?” Emma asked smiling.

“Josh and I wanted to surprise everyone after the baby was born, which I know was going to be hard especially with you and brady being in ottawa, but everyone was so overprotective last time it was driving me crazy and I didn’t want to go through that again” I said softly.

“Oh, sweetie they care and love you so much, i know it sucks when they don’t want you to do anything, but they just want you and the baby to be safe” My mom said.

“I also can’t keep this from Brady, he’ll know… I can’t lie” Emma said making us laugh.

We made it to the suite, I had a feeling Emma already told Brady and that my mom had already told my dad since they kept looking at me every few minutes.

The first period had started when I started to get hungry, I started getting up from my seat when Brady looked to see what I was doing.

When he notice I was getting up, he got up instead.

“Sit down, what do you want? I’ll get it for you” He said. I sighed and sat back down to look at Josh, who was already looking at me confused.

“You told him?” Josh asked

I shook my head.

“I let it slip by accident this morning when I was with the girls sorry” I told Josh sadly.

Josh smiled.

“Babe it’s fine, I almost let it slip a few times.” He said 

“I can’t believe you guys were going to keep this a secret.” Brady said.

“Brady I love you, but you are way too overprotective” I said.

“I’m sorry I just want to make sure you are being safe.” He said softly

“I know, I love you, but if I ever need anything you know I'll ask. I’m only 5 months pregnant, I can still move” I said getting up, sending him a smile.

“Promise?” 

“Yes I promise, now sit back down and watch Matty while I go get myself some food” 

He sighed before he sat back down.

“Fine” he said 

I smiled at this. Hopefully it stays this way but I know the closer I’ll get to the end of the pregnancy he’ll get overprotective again, they’re lucky I love them.

TikTok Trends - Josh Norris

Summary: Josh and his girlfriend Y/n try TikTok trends together.

Words: 476

Josh leaned against the counter, watching Y/n take ingredients from the fridge. “So, what we’re filming for TikTok this time?”

Y/n turned around with a carton of eggs in her hand, her expression perfectly innocent. “Breakfast, we’re making breakfast. People love couple cooking videos for some reason.”

Josh nodded, pulling out a pan. “Alright, what’s the plan? Omelets? Scrambled eggs?”

She hid a smirk, setting her phone on the counter to record. “Let’s start with cracking a few eggs,” she started. “Here, hold still for a second. I’ll show you a trick my mom taught me.”

Josh tilted his head curiously, leaning slightly forward. “A trick? We’re getting a trick guys.” He said laughing into the camera.

Grinning to herself, Y/n picked up an egg and held it delicately in her hand. “Okay, now you have to stay still. This is all about precision.”

Josh nodded seriously, completely buying into it. “Got it.”

With a swift motion, she cracked the egg right on his forehead. The yolk slid down his face, and for a moment, he just froze.

“Y/n!” he said in disbelief as he wiped his face with both hands.

Y/n burst out laughing, cracking up a little more each time she look at him. “You should see your face right now!”

Josh glanced at the camera, realizing what had just happened. “This isn’t breakfast; this is payback for last week, isn’t it? When I pranked you.”

“Maybe,” she teased, still laughing.

Josh grabbed another egg from the carton. “Oh, you’re in trouble now.”

Later

Still feeling bad about her prank, Y/n cuddled up to Josh on the couch. “I feel a little bit bad about the prank.”

Josh smirked, not looking up from his phone. “A little bit?”

“Let me make it up to you,” she said, holding up her phone as a proof she’s been searching. “I found the cutest trend. We can do it together and no eggs this time, I promise.”

Josh raised an eyebrow. “What’s the trend?”

She tapped her phone, and Jack Johnson’s Upside Down began playing. “It’s simple. You just lift me up, turn me upside down, and set me back on my feet.”

Josh groaned dramatically but couldn’t resist her pleading expression. “Fine, but if you fall, it’s on you.”

Moments later, the camera was recording. As the song played, Josh leaned down and grabbed Y/N by the waist. She giggled as he effortlessly lifted her, carefully turning her upside down. Her legs kicked playfully in the air before he spun her back around and set her on her feet.

They both laughed, Y/n wobbling slightly before grabbing onto his arms. “See? That wasn’t so bad!”

Josh shook his head, smiling as they watched the playback. “Alright, that was cute. You’re off the hook.”

The final clip showed Y/n standing on her tiptoes to kiss his cheek.

it can’t happen

Nick Suzuki knocked on her front door, Brinley stood up from the couch wrapping her cardigan tighter around her as she walked to the front door and opened the door seeing one of her best friends she smiled moving to the side letting him in.

Nick headed to the living room setting the takeout and wine on the coffee table as Brinley walked into the kitchen grabbing two wine glasses and walked back to the living room, she sat down on the couch next to Nick grabbing the fluffy blanket throwing it over both of them.

Brinely started opening the wine as Nick took out all the takeout boxes, Brinely poured both of them a large class of wine before getting her chopsticks and starting to eat some of the takeout.

The two have started this tradition a few years ago to just unwind and have a cheat meal and some wine, sometimes they end up gossiping the whole or watching a show but it is always very relaxing for the two to spend time together, and when Nick’s girlfriend Catherine is free she always comes too making the night even better.

The two finished eating the food eventually and was sitting in peaceful silence drinking their wine.

“You do know Cole has feelings for you right.” Nick suddenly asked out of nowhere.

Brinely choked on her wine coughing, “Jeez Nicky warn a girl would you?” Brinely coughed again catching her breath, Nick snickered slighty, “What do you mean has feelings.” Brinely looked over at Nick in pure puzzlement.

“You don’t know?” Nick looked at her shocked, Cole was obviously the whole team knew of his little crush within a few days and it didn’t help he loved to follow her around like a puppy and looked up at her with stars in his eyes.

“He doesn’t have feelings for me Nicky.” Brinely scoffed knowing there is no way Cole has feelings for her, “Besides i’m his Captain now i’m supposed to be guiding him, mentoring him not thinking if he might have feelings for me.”

Nick raised an eyebrow, “So you have no feelings for him?” Nick had a good feeling the two would be more in the future.

“He’s young Nick. He needs a friend.” Brinely sternly spoke not noticing she never answered the question but Nick did, he decided to let it go with a nod but would remember that for later.

I will almost always write a fem!reader because that’s what I’m used to and comfortable with. I’ve never written smut before but there’s always and first time for everything.
