Jorah observed as you followed Daenerys quietly as she interacted with her guests. You were a perfect picture as your dress flowed graciously around you. You were breathtaking.

The two of you had been with Daenerys from the very beginning. You'd traveled far and wide reinforcing Daenerys claim to the Iron Throne. Over time, Jorah liked to believe you'd grown close. Late-night discussions as you both attempted to figure out the next course of action. Seeking comfort from each other when times got tough.

Jorah was no fool. He could admit over time he'd developed strong feelings towards you. His heart yearned for you in ways he couldn't understand.

He'd questioned if you returned his feelings. He remained unsure. It is why he'd kept quiet and yearned for you in private.

Jorah examined the room searching for any potential threat. It was his duty to protect the Khalessi. He'd also made it his duty to protect you. He'd do it gladly even if it cost him his life.

Jorah stood with a hand on his hilt searching the room, when his eyes found something. You were standing posed while Daenerys interacted with one of the attendees, yet his attention wasn't fixated on her or the conversation.

It was on you.

Jorah felt unsettled as he focused on the interaction. Slowly biding his time observing it play out. Jorah could not allow Daenerys to be seen as weak. He would not create a spectacle.

The attendee moved a lock of your hair out of your face, Jorah could stand no more. Advances were one thing, physical touch was another.

Jorah made it over to you both in five large steps. Brushing your bare back with his fingertips, he alerted you of his presence. Glancing up you extinguished some of the jealousy coursing through his veins.

Despite the man ignoring Jorah, now he'd gotten closer, something appeared astray. The man's eyes were glancing around the room. Tension was rolling off of him like waves crashing on the shore.

A subtle nod of his head, Jorah alerted Ser Barristan. A fraction too late as the man drew his sword. Daenerys took several steps back as you gripped hold of her hand. The room suddenly diverted into chaos.

Screams and thundering footsteps while the scraping of swords unsheathing. Men moved swiftly to protect Daenerys. There were fights surrounding her. Blood and body parts smothered the once pristine floor.

Jorah fought seasonedly, yet he remained distracted as he attempted to keep you within his eyesight. He moved deliberately always attempting to adjust his position.

Jorah focused on defeating the enemy at hand, it was his duty to protect the Khaleesi. It's what continued to drive him. While her safety was paramount, Jorah was concerned about your safety and well-being. This is why Jorah cut down man after man smothered in blood, unsure who it belonged to.

He was fighting on pure instinct.

As he swung his body around sword swinging high in the air, his blood ran cold. Somehow you'd been separated from the group. Now three men were circling you like predators on prey.

Jorah released a mighty yell as he sliced down his opponent in two strikes. his focus tunneled in on you. Jorah moved with the purpose from opponent to opponent. Strike after strike. He fought hard and quick.

Nothing would hurt you.

Jorah's rage drove him. He took his anger out on the enemy. It was mere moments before he stood behind the three assailants.

"Get away from her!" The men faced Jorah in response swords drawn. Their attention was drawn to him. They played into his hand as he battled them. They were younger and quicker. Jorah was by far more experienced. Jorah is no fool. He knew the numbers were stacked against him.

"Jorah look out! The third man had sunk up behind him. While the second shoved you forcefully out of the way. You landed hard on the floor. It was the final straw, Jorah found renewed energy and brutalized the three men.

His energy depleted, Jorah collapsed to his knees. Jorah glimpsed over at you, dressed crimpled and smothered in blood, you were grasping your ankle. Pain creased your expression.

"Are you well M'lady?" Jorah asked between breaths.

"My ankle hurts" Jorah nodded. He needed to get you both somewhere safe. Jorah stumbled as he rose to his feet as he made his way over to you. Holding his hand out towards you, you took his hand and he lifted you into his arms.

Jorah stumbled as he carried you out of harm's way. He could rest soon. When you were safe. Jorah felt you bury your head into his neck. he wished it could have been in better circumstances.

Jorah could see Ser Barristan in the distance. He was so close. As soon as he was behind the double doors, he collapsed onto the ground. He dropped you and you landed to the side of him.

"Ser Jorah! Jorah! You dragged yourself towards him, you attempted to search for any sign of injury. Yet it was difficult to see as his shirt was now a stained bloodied mess. Lifting Jorah's shirt, you saw a mighty wound in his side. Ragged and red in appearance. You'd wondered how Jorah had managed to fight for so long.

"I need some help over here!" Soon, a Maester was attending to his injuries. Unable to do much more, a tear slid down your cheek. Concerned for the man who'd done everything to protect you.

Jorah slept for three days and three nights. You remained by his bedside for the majority Only leaving to freshen up. You did not want to be in a state when he awoke. He'd fought valiantly; the least you could do was show bravery while he recovered.

Pushing the needle through the fabric, you concentrated on the needlework. You'd been stitching the bear from Jorah's sigil. It made a difference from your usual flowers, but you found it beautiful nonetheless.

A twitch of a finger unseen by you. You continued to work until a groan broke through the silence of the room.

Your eyes snapped up, placing the needlework to the side. Jorah's arm twitched as you suddenly moved to sit on the edge of the bed.

Immediately you moved so you could go and find the Maester, yet Jorah's hand clasped around your wrist.

"Stay…with…me" Jorah croaked, you moved only a fraction so you could present him with some water. Undoubtedly he'd be parched after days of being in a slumber.

"Here, have some water. You must be thirsty." Resting a hand against the back of his head, you helped him lean up so he could take a drink. He drank slowly, soothing his dry throat.

"How long has it been?"

"Four days and four nights. You had everyone worried you would not wake" You replied, placing your hand on top of his, unable to meet his gaze.

On several occasions, during that time you'd been worried Jorah might not awake. You might never know his warmth or his smile. You'd never experience him walking alongside you whenever you were traveling together. It had taken nearly losing him for you to realize your feelings.

You were very much in love with Jorah.

"I am lucky to awaken to such a beautiful sight." Your eyes flickered up, as Jorah gave a weak smile. He'd longed to see your smile again. It was powerful enough to create a rainbow on a stormy day.

"You nearly died. Why would you put yourself in harm's way like that?"

"Are my intentions not clear enough? What of my feelings? I'd do it again to protect you." Jorah observed your eyes widen as he entwined your fingers together one by one.

"You can not possibly mean what I believe you do" Jorah beckoned you closer soon you were leaning close to his face. By the lines under your eyes, it was clear you had not slept a lot recently.

"You were the reason I approached you both. I could not bear another man touching you. When you are not his to touch. My heart yearns for you and I believe yours does the same, so why don't we stop pretending."

Jorah was right. Nearly losing him had forced you into a realization. Leaning down you pressed a gentle kiss onto his lips.

"You are right. Promise me you will not nearly die on me again." Jorah nodded as he brought your hand to rest directly on his chest on top of his heart.

"I will see fit to protect what belongs to you now." Both of you smiled as you got lost in one another. Sometimes it took an incident to bring two oblivious people together.

Drabble/Short Oneshot Requests

So, have been holding back on doing this because I still do have a oneshot req I need to complete, and so many WIPs it's outlandish. That being said, right now, since I'm reconditioning myself to write, it's very difficult for me to tackle those projects and get even a sentence in them at a time. So I'm sort of asking for your help in this in my theory that drabbles are a good medium and that they might help me get used to properly writing.

I'm currently comfortable writing MxF, FxF, and of course platonic relations. I tend to write angst or dark fics so nothing is off limits with me, but if you want to send in something fluffy I can try my best! Anything smutty will likely not be too "in-depth" given the length of drabbles.

Summary: Just when Jorah thought he couldn’t get any luckier...

A/N: I know that this was not requested, but I just had this idea and had to get it down. And plus, there is not a whole lot of Jorah content out there and it really needs to be remedied. So, I hope you enjoy!

From the moment of his exile, Jorah Mormont had prepared for a life filled with rare moments of mild happiness. He had never expected to get this, to sit across from the most lovely woman in the whole world with a tiny little toddler in her arms and smile the smile that is on his face right now.

If you had asked him the possibility of these circumstances five years ago, he would have told you they were a million to one. If there was one thing that Jorah had never expected to come into his life, it was love. And never as pure and absolute as the love he received from you. Each touch was God-sent, each moment together was sacred, each smile on your face was like a second chance at a life that Jorah had always wanted. 

And then a child had come, and just like that, Jorah had found his happiness double. 

“Go show Daddy,” he watched you speak to the chubby little toddler smiling in front of you. Her hair was a sandy blonde, just like his, but her smile was as pure and bright as yours. Jorah could feel the effect it had on him creating a lightness in his chest. 

The little girl grasped the purple wildflowers in her fist a bit tighter and turned around to trot over to Jorah. She wore a thin yellow dress, her hair reflecting the light of the bright Essos sun. The rolls of baby fat on her arms and legs caused a laugh to rise in Jorah’s throat as she bounced her way over towards him. 

“What is it you have there?” He said as his tiny daughter reached his fatherly grasp. He held her body as she outstretched the flowers towards him, finding the purest of curiosity in the simple flowers she held in her tiny hands. 

“Flowers!” She squealed, her blue eyes shining brightly up at him. Jorah’s face was a book so easily read from your place across from him. His smile reached from one eye to the other, clear love and devotion in his gaze. 

“Flowers!” He dramatically sounded shocked, bringing a giggle to your daughter's lips. “They’re almost as pretty as you.”

Jorah plucked the flowers from your daughters grasp and placed them behind her ear. She giggled at the tickle of them on her skin as they found their place between her curly, golden locks of hair. 

Jorah’s gaze lifted as he watched you stand up and make your way over to the two of them. Your hand found its place on his leg as you crouched down beside your daughter. Both of you watched as she turned around and walked just a few feet away to collect more wildflowers. 

“She looks so much like you,” you said, looking up into Jorah’s bright blue eyes. Little blond whiskers sat on his chin and cheeks, each one the same colour as the hair that sat on both his and your daughters head. “And that Mormont stubbornness...” 

“Oh, she definitely has that,” Jorah laughed, letting you lean deeper into him. The feel of your body against his was the most natural feeling in the world.  

He nestled his whiskered chin in amongst the (h/c) strands of hair on your head and smiled, bringing an arm to rest around your body. Your daughter stood tugging at the stems of some more purple wildflowers, her mind entirely focused on gathering as many of them as she could. 

“Thank you.” 

Jorah felt the word slip from his lips without entirely meaning it. He watched as your confused face tilted so that it could look up at him, a smile tugging at the end of your lips. 

“For what?” you asked.

“For this. For staying with me and giving me her.” His head nodded towards the elated toddler, just having pulled out a bunch of red wildflowers. “You two mean everything to me.”

“And you mean everything to me, Jorah the Andal. So does she,” You said, pulling his body down so that he lay down next to you amongst the dried grass in the empty field. You reached across and placed a kiss to his rough cheek before finding your natural place in his arms once again. “There is no need to thank me, you know. You have given me just as much.”

Jorah relaxed with the feeling of you in his arms. He closed his eyes against the brightness of the Essos sun above the two of you, grasping the moment of pure bliss as eagerly as a salesman at a good deal. 

Here you were, wrapped in his arms, your head resting comfortably on his broad chest. And his daughter just a few feet away playing amongst the colourful wildflowers, getting dirt all over her hands and dress.

He couldn’t get any luckier, he thought, until you pulled one of his hands to sit on top of your belly.

“There’s another little one in there, you know,” you said, watching as his blue eyes filled with realisation. The realisation quickly turned to shock as he stared down at you.

Jorah stumbled on his words. “Are you... are you sure?”

“Yes,” you nodded, “another little Mormont.”

Jorah couldn’t find the words to speak. All he could do was lean across, connecting your lips in a tender and heartfelt kiss. 

Perhaps he could get a little luckier.

Sight - Jorah Mormont

A short series on the senses for my favorite GoT men. Imagine thinking I wouldn’t die for Jorah Mormont.

The sight of the scroll with his name scrawled across the top nearly stopped his heart. No one in Westeros, save his father, knew he was in Essos.

Who would care enough to send him a raven?

“Ser Jorah?” Daenery’s voice pulled him from his trance as his fingertips ran over his name. “Who is it from?”

Jorah felt his breath catch in his chest as he began reading the scroll, anticipation building at the need to know the identity of whoever had written the letter.

All my love, Y/N Targaryen

The Lost Targaryen, thought to have died alongside your father in the days of Roberts Rebellion. The very same Targaryen who had come to the Bear Islands every year and begged to hear stories about the great battles he’d taken place in. The Lost Targaryen who he had mourned upon hearing of your death.

Jorah had mourned you like you were his own child.

How sentimental.

“A Ghost, Khaleesi. A letter from a ghost.”

His heart nearly gave out when they finally arrived in Westeros. You’d been keeping in contact with Jorah about Daenerys plans since the first scroll and had confided in him about what had happened since Roberts Rebellion. You were a capable adult now and he was aching to see the person you’d become in his time away.

Daenerys was pleased to be meeting her eldest living sibling, but seeing the way you sprinted at him and propelled yourself off the ground to wrap your arms around his neck... It was almost like he was being greeted at the gates of Heaven by an Angel.

“Blood of my blood.” He breathed, clutching you tightly as if he’d loosen his grip just enough that you’d vanish before him. “I am pleased to see you. You’re so grown up.. I thought you’d-“

“We’ve been speaking for months now, Jorah.” You mused. “I am far from dead.” Your smile widened and you brushed your lips against his cheek. He was the closest thing you’d had to a father as a child, and hearing about his exile had broken something deep within you. You’d spent the time since thanking the gods that his penance for the sins he’d committed had been to stand loyal at the side of your baby sister.

“You’ve been telling us stories of glorious battles since childhood. Are you ready to fight alongside 2 Targaryens?”

Daenerys had never held a sword, let alone fought in a battle, but you were plenty capable after being trained in Kings Landing. The way that Jorah smiled when you and Dany linked arms with him made your heart ache with pride - The Dragons’ Protector.

“I’ve been protecting Targaryens for years. It would be an honor to do it again.”

They’d talk about the way he’d fought got you.

And they’d talk about the way he died for you.

You just wanted to forget the way Daenerys screamed when she found you cradling Jorahs body to your chest in the aftermath of the battle. Your body stung with open wounds and your eyes burned from the smoke, but you hadn’t bothered moving.

They heard your words loud and clear as you rocked back and forth. Thanking him for loving you and your sister.

You wanted to forget the way the Starks found you both the morning after, clutching Jorah’s hands in your own. Daenerys had stopped weeping hours beforehand. You’d been silent since he’d fallen.

You wanted to forget the sight of his funeral, the way his body crumbled to ash as the fire took him. Forget how that thing inside of you that had been repaired by his arrival in Westeros and the blossoming of your relationship had snapped again with his death.

You just wanted to forget.

Living in the North as a girl who was born and bred in the South was no easy feat. Your father was an expert tradesman who often found himself at the Bear Islands where he very easily befriended Lord Mormont, who often made the trades for needed supplies much easier. 

You weren’t supposed to meet his son Jorah quite yet, but you did. He was standing tall at his fathers side, no older then fifteen years old, and you admired just how regal he looked standing there. Absolutely divine. It was hard not to marvel at the strong, handsome features of the heir to the Bear Islands, but what you were unaware of is how he gazed at you. The daughter to another Lord of a much smaller house, soon to be wed to keep the trade routes and exchanges successful and plentiful for the following years.

  “My Lord, allow me the pleasure of introducing my daughter, Y/N Y/L/N to your son.” 

Jorah attempted to hide his fascination of you behind a smile and the gentlest press of lips against the back of your hand. “My Lady,” He greeted. “I believe we have quite a future ahead of us.” 

Given that your land was not that far from that of the Islands, your father requested that you stay behind to learn the art of swordplay with Jorah. He was the most talented swordsman of his age until you came around and beat him at his own game. Women were not meant for battle, but marrying a man like Jorah Mormont would be a whole other war to face. 

  “Is that how you do it, Ser?” You mused as you lightly pressed the dull edge of your training blade against his throat, knee pinning his chest to the ground as he laid flat on his back. You had often taken advantage of the art of seduction to catch him off guard, and it never failed you. 

  “I’m not a knight yet, Y/N.” 

His pupils dilated as you bent down and pressed a kiss to the corner of his mouth. It was a daring move, sure, but over the time you’d been living inside the castle with the Mormonts you had never dared to venture further then holding his hand. 

   “When we wed, I will move all the Heavens above to ensure you receive your knighthood. There’s no one more deserving of it.” 

Your relationship evolved over the next few years. Jorah preferred to remain intimate behind closed doors - taking to holding hands and soft, desperate gazes across the rooms when you both occupied them. He was well respected by people, worthy of their love, and you were greatly looking forward to when you ruled the Islands together. 

What you weren’t anticipating was those three dreaded words. The ones you very rarely said with your lips and instead said with your actions. You didn’t want to love him, but you did, and the very thought of it absolutely terrified you. Sent dread down to your very core - because you knew what would happen next. 

  “I love you.” Warm hands, gentle caresses against the apples of your cheeks in the light of the fire blazing in his chambers. The two of you had retired sometime ago after the wedding preparations for the day had been finished, and Jorah wanted nothing more then to cradle you close and disappear from the world with you. 

  “Jorah-” 

  “I do. I have loved you and I will never stop loving you.” His hand travelled down the curve of your arm until it wrapped around your hip, urging you close enough that you could feel the crevices of his body against your own. You had always fit well together, like two missing pieces of a puzzle. 

  “Don’t fall any deeper in love with me.” You whispered. You spread your fingers out over his heart and lifted your head just enough to meet his gaze. Soft and warm, just like the rest of him, with his very clear adoration of you evident in the blues of his eyes. 

  “Why?” 

  “Because you won’t be there when I need you.” 

And just as you suspected, news arrived on the day after your wedding that Jorah had been involved in a slavery ring and had been caught by Eddard Stark, Lord of Winterfell. 

He had fled Westeros with only a note and a wedding ring left in the crevices of your bed with the intent of you finding it. You took his note in your hands and read his poor explanation as to why he’d been forced to hide such a treasonous act from his wife, of all people, and how he promised to be with you again when the time came for him to be pardoned. 

Bitterness kills. Bitterness kills. Bitterness kills. 

But forgiveness heals, and there was no possibility of holding a grudge against Jorah for as many years as your heart would’ve desired. You eventually forgave but you had no intentions of forgetting anything that had occurred. 

You became Queen of the Bear Islands after Jorah was exiled. Years passed and you ruled better then you would’ve anticipated, but the ring around your neck was a constant reminder of the man you’d loved and the man you’d lost. 

That was until Daenerys Targaryen arrived and the threat of the Night King loomed over your heads. Forced to fight with the North for the safety of Westeros, you left your council in charge and travelled to Winterfell for the battle against the Wights. 

You weren’t expecting what you saw waiting at the front gates. 

  “Khaleesi, if I may-” Daenerys laid her hand on Jorahs arm as she watched a horse with a single rider come into view further down the road, eyes softening as she recognized your form that sat on top of it. She had been the one to keep in contact with you about Jorah since he’d mentioned leaving a wife to rule the Bear Islands, but he’d never spoken more than that. You were too precious a memory. 

  “I believe someone has come to see you, Ser.” 

Jorahs eyes followed the stride of the horse until it skidded to a stop before him, and the breath dissipated in his lungs when he realized it was you sitting atop of it. He half expected you to berate him, to scold him for leaving you behind and to drive your fists into his body until his skin was streaked in black, blue and purple. 

He had tried so hard to forget about you. Forget the way your eyes lit up when he entered a room, or the way your hands felt when they traveled his body. The curve of your smile and the way your body felt beneath his hands. The way you showed no fear in the face of death, or how well you held yourself in battle. But he could not forget how deeply you loved him. The way you always whispered sweet nothings in the dead of night about how good a man he was and how honorable he’d become. How when he woke up from nightmares you’d already be sitting at his side and would curl a single strand of hair behind his ear and sing Jenny of Oldstones to lull him to sleep. 

How he’d left you with nothing but a ring to remember him by. 

  “Don’t fall in love with me, Jorah.” 

  “Why?” 

  “Because then you won’t be there when I need you.” 

Silence pierced the air as you dismounted and allowed one of the Unsullied to take your horse to the stables before you turned to greet Daenerys and Jorah. He stood at her side, hands behind his back and head bowed so he would not have to meet the coldness of your stare. 

Daenerys, however, saw no bitterness for the man beside her. The same man who had vowed his sword and his life to her cause, and had hidden the memory of the woman he loved deep within his heart so he would not be forced to revisit the pain of leaving her behind.  

  “Your Grace, it is a pleasure to finally meet you face to face.” Daenerys smiled and held up a hand, motioning to Jorah with a flick of her head. She very clearly was ready to leave the two of you alone for much needed reconciliation after years apart. 

  “The pleasure is all mine, My Lady. If you’ll excuse me, I have some matters that must be attended to.” Once Daenerys disappeared from view, you moved forward and extended your hand just enough to unlace Jorahs from where they trembled behind his back. Your fingers trailed down the furs that lined his arms until they linked with his own, and he stared down in disbelief before you lifted his chin just high enough to meet his eyes. 

  “Oh.” Oh indeed. “Jorah Mormont, you insufferable man.. Never has a woman missed her husband as I have missed you.” Your chest constricted painfully when you heard the way his breathing hitched and saw the tears that formed in his eyes. 

  “I remain undeserving-” 

  “Never has there been a man more deserving of my love.” You cradled his face in your hands and pressed the ghost of a kiss against the curve of his mouth just as you had done all those years ago on the training grounds. “A man more honorable, or more loyal.” Your lips trailed until they hovered over his own just close enough to feel the warmth of his breath against your skin. “No one I have loved more other then you.” 

He claimed you with his kiss. It’s difficult to preserve your emotions in front of Winterfells gates and not let him take you right there, but there had never been a time in your life when you had been so touched at how gentle he was. Years have passed since you had done this - allowing the man you love to lay his claim to you with his mouth and the slow caress of your tongue against his own. Jorah hoped you couldn’t hear the way his heart thundered when you tangled your fingers through his hair and wound them tightly enough to pull his face away. 

  “Tell me again.” He breathed. Your eyes narrowed on his lips, the flesh swollen from the intensity of your kiss. His chest was having and his hair untamed by the way you gripped it, but never had there been a time where Jorah Mormont looked so sinful. “Tell me again.” 

  “I love you.” 

No one talked about the way they saw the two of you emerge from the same chambers the following morning. How much more Jorah smiled in Daenerys presence when he knew that you were near, or how your laughter sang in the halls of Winterfell’s keep. 

He took you again the night before the battle. Your head was dazed with the effects of the wine Jaime Lannister had so graciously offered you to drink, and then again, and then again until you’d lost count after five goblets worth. The eldest Lannister was rather intriguing to be around especially when he wove tales of his times in Kings Landing - the Capital of the South - and it made you miss home even more then you had as a young girl. 

But the home you’d come to know since then was burning holes through the back of his skull from across the room, where Tormund Giantsbane made a raucous about how you were his and he should make that known to the suitors who were so clearly drawn to you. 

  “Home.” 

You had just begun to unlace his shirt when he caught your hand in his own, and your brow furrowed in confusion as his eyes fluttered shut. Whatever he was trying to prevent you from seeing beneath the fabric very clearly embarrassed him. “Jorah?” You whispered, fingers dancing along the curve of his jaw. Just the very touch of you set every nerve on fire. 

It had been so long since he'd done this. Had intimately been with a woman, let alone been with you, and you had yet to be made aware of the scars that came with his greyscale. He loathed the kind of man he’d become in his absence from you, so why should he believe you’d love him like this?

  “I don’t want you to see this.” 

  “See what?” 

   “Daenerys did not speak of my greyscale. I was away from her in search of a cure, which I found, and now there are so many-” You wrenched open the laces of his shirt and pushed it over his shoulders, gaze softening at the array of ridged scars that lined his torso. There were so much more then the last time you’d seen him. 

  “Scars?” You lifted your head just enough to brush your lips against the one closest to you, and Jorah trembled beneath your touch as you continued your trek across the valleys and ridges of his chest. “A lot of women think scars are sexy.” 

He was stunned when you flipped your position and were able to straddle him. Your knees locked at his hips and you were hunched over just enough that you were able to brush your lips against his chest, and the groan you emitted was the sexiest thing you’d ever heard. 

Then he said it again, in the midst of desperately trying to control the tears brought upon by your acceptance. 

  “Don’t fall any deeper in love with me, my wife.” 

  “Why?” 

  “Because then you won’t be there when I need you.” 

The sounds of battle raged on around him as he desperately sought out both you and Daenerys. His sight was shrouded in darkness from the ash that rained down from the heavens, corpses lined the Earth at his feet and the smell of blood remained pungent in the air. He didn’t even want to think about what would happen if the blood belonged to you. 

Daenerys had accepted you and Jorah as her sworn shields the same day you’d met her, and after much time spent together, you vowed your service and your life to The Dragon Queen in the halls of Winterfell. You and Jorah had been apart too long and you were adamant that you wouldn’t be separated anytime soon. 

Only the Gods had other plans for you. 

It was just when he found you in the midst of fending off a wight that had been ready to attack Daenerys that the first blade pierced through your armor. Daenerys froze as you stood your ground, gritting your teeth so hard that your ears began to ring. 

Then the next blade came, and the pain followed with it. It began as an ache in your abdomen, and continued on until your entire body felt as if it had been doused in dragon fire. Every cell of your existence was screaming. Your eyes burned and your hands were stained scarlet, but yet here you stood. 

Jorah was paralyzed in his place, and it was right before the last blade pierced you that you desperately screamed his name. Screamed so terrifyingly loud that he was positive you were lost to him. 

 You both had gone and done exactly what you feared the most: You had fallen in love with each other, and now after just getting you back, Jorah Mormont was about to lose the only thing in his life besides Daenerys that had given him a reason to breathe. A reason to wake up in the morning and keep moving. 

  “Hey, hey Y/N,” His voice bordered on the edge of a plea as your eyes fluttered and lifted to gaze at the sky. “We will take you to the Maester at once. Your wounds will heal and we will return to the Bear Islands once Daenerys holds the Iron Throne. I swear it,” Jorah swallowed the knot in his throat as a broken laugh fell from your lips. “Y/N-” 

  “I told you not to fall in love with me, you idiot.” 

  “And I told you I’d never stop loving you.” He curled his fingers through your hair and cradled your head in his hands, focusing on the rise and fall of your chest. It was slowing down now. Your breaths were fewer and fewer with each minute that passed. “Please, Y/N-” 

  “Never has there been another, Ser Jorah Mormont.’’ Tears trekked through the blood that stained your cheeks as he rested his forehead against your own. And for a moment, it was just the two of you, and no one else. There was no war against the Night King, no threat of Death looming overhead, no war of The Queens for the seat on the Iron Throne. It was just the two of you. Only you. “My heart has been yours, and it remains yours-” 

  “I swear it.” 

Daenerys was the one to pull him from his internal hysteria when she saw your eyes go blank and your chest stop moving. Her hand fell to your own that laid limp at your side, and the breath was knocked from her lungs as she recognized the shape of a wedding band even through the ash and blood that stained the metal. 

When Jorah took the ring into his hand and wiped the blood from the metal, he caught sight of the engraving you’d had done only days after the wedding had taken place. He’d never seen it before now, but the sight of it only wounded him more deeply as he cradled your head against his chest. 

I am his and he is mine 

  “From this day,” He held the ring to his lips and kissed it. “Until the end of my days.”

I am writing this before I set sail towards Dragonstone. I have asked too much of you over the years. Selfishly I am about to ask something of you again. Would you head to Dragonstone so we can be reunited once more? I know I ask too much. For us to be reunited again after all this time. Yet my heart still yearns for you, my love. It aches to stand in your presence, to be able to touch and hold you. To hear the sound of your voice. For you to be the last person I see before I fall asleep. Your knowledge of Jorah Mormont was limited only to what you had heard in whispers.  The stories that had been told of the man were few but you did not truly believe them.  There may have been fact in some but you wanted to hear it from the mouth of the man himself.  As one of Daenerys's most trusted servants you found yourself around Jorah often but had yet to speak to him yourself.  But you were fed up with the rumors that kept floating around, the rumors that if you never asked would never be confirmed or denied so you finally spoke up.

It was a blunt question but it spawned stories of the truth, of his childhood, of when he sold the poachers. Everything you had heard floating around was know becoming truth and lie because of a sudden friendship with the man who seemed to be at the face of every story in the past weeks.  The two of you had become close, a strong bond growing when it was revealed that while the two of you had walked separate paths the both of you had led to becoming a part of the servants of Daenerys, in your case true servant and in his case guard.

The rumors never really stopped but they warped and suddenly you stood front and center in their stories.  Whispers about your relationship with Jorah were spoken whether you were around to hear them or not.  You ignored them as did Jorah, the two of you often joking about the rumors.  Both of you had better things to do then falling into the trap of trying to disprove the rumors.  The only person you had to reassure of there falsities was Daenerys herself.

But weeks of rumors began bearing weight upon you as everywhere you turned there suddenly seemed to be stares and snickers. There was no way to end them you believed, or at least no other way then the one alternative that you seemed to come up with.  The one way to end everything was the one thing you didn't want to happen. You brought it up with Jorah anyway.

"We should simply end this" you stated, refusing to look him in the face.

Jorah smirked, "I wasn't even aware that we were courting in the first place"

"That’s not what I meant and you know it.”

"A few rumors shouldn't bother you"

"And yet they do. So what do you suggest"

He shrugged, turning to face you, "Maybe we prove them true. Or we confirm a few parts of them at least."

"I think confirming them means something different to you. Enlighten me."

He pulled you to him and pressed his lips against yours.

"Gladly" he murmured.

A/C: Guys. I am ready with my second Jorah Story and I think it is some kind of interesting. I´ve never ever thought that I could write this kind of fluff. But here we are. I hope you all enjoy it.

Story is some kind of out of the Story! Problably Season 3 after Ser Barristans arrivel in Astapor!

It was hot. Probably hotter than normal. All the horses run in a line just to this little Lake that the lookouts have seen.

She was sweating as hell. Her Husband rode next to her. Their hands were intertwined. His blue eyes were searching here and he smiled.

„Are you alright darling?“ 

She nodded.

„I am just feeling hot. The sun feels like fire.“

He nodded too.

„We are nearly there.“

After that words of him, one of the lookouts screamed something at Dothraki. She sighed heavily.

„Finally.“

He smiled and jumped off his horse. He helped her to get off. Ser Barristan came over.

„My lady, are you alright?“ 

He looked worried. Same as Jorah did. She nodded. 

„Yeah, just a little kind of hot. I was born in the north I know it another way.“

She smiled and made her way to the water. Her Husband was right beside her. 

„I´ve never dreamed that we could be here.“ 

She whispered as she cleaned her face. Jorah right next to her nodded and lightly touched her belly. 

„How do you and this little buddy really feel?“ 

She stroked over his big hand and her belly.

„Not that good. I know it is the 4th month but it feels strange.“ 

„Shall I call the Healer?“

She shakes her head.

„No, just the last fight was some kind of horrible. Ya know I lost my sister. I still see her face when I close my eyes. Every Time I close my eyes or even when I simply dream I see her dirty face at the moment she stood there and just slip out of life. It is like she stands up from death.“

He nodded and hugged her. His arms were around her waist. She smiled. 

„What´s wrong?“

„Nothing just the thought about our wedding. I still see you there kneeling in front of my father and finally asking him if you may marry me.“ 

„And that day was our Wedding day. I know.“ 

They both laughed. She interrupted this laughter. 

„Darling?“ 

„It kicked.

„What?“

„Our baby. It kicked me.“

She looked up with an unbelievable face and smiled.

At that moment he knew he made the right decision.

It was right to marry her.

So as she loved him, he loved her.

Maybe this will last forever.

Ichigo and Uryuu are very confused when their “cousin” Kazuma shows up to introduce his new bride to the family. 3.     CODE GEASS

3.1.  A Code of Ice and Fire: Crossover with GOT – Lelouch, his two younger siblings, and Lelouch’s most loyal followers are reincarnated into Westeros. Lelouch proceeds to make it his lifelong mission to drive Cersei into frothing fits and strengthens the Baratheon dynasty to the point that even Tywin is impressed by his grandson’s machinations. Then CC shows up with dragons and Ned Stark starts to think that maybe Robert’s onto something with the “drinking to forget” idea. Meta

3.2.  Abandon Thyself: Post-Zero Requiem Suzaku travels back in time to the scene in the Shinjuku Ghettos when the truck explodes. Given that the people closest to him haven’t actually spoken to Suzaku in years, the origins of Suzaku’s obvious mental instability is hilariously misattributed by various outside PoVs. So when Suzaku hits his knees in front of Lelouch, swearing eternal devotion and vowing to make Lelouch the next emperor nobody panics. (They should really reconsider panicking.) 3.3.  The Sun Also Rises: At the moment of his death in the Zero Requiem, Lelouch travels back in time to his childhood body. With only a week to go before Marianne is “assassinated by terrorists” Lelouch sets out to rearrange the board in a way none of the other players will see coming until it’s far too late. Lelouch has been given a second chance to make things right, and Lelouch wouldn’t be Lelouch if he didn’t plan big. This time around, Lelouch plans for his victory to be a bit more obvious. 4.    DCU

4.1.  Time Enough: Terry McGinnis, his little brother Matt, and their dogs are the only members of their timeline to survive because Bruce Wayne was too old to see any more of his sons die in front of him. So they all got knocked out, shoved into an escape capsule, and ejected from the Batman Beyond timeline before it crumbles. Said time pod crashes into the middle of a Red Hood versus Match throw down, and Terry’s Wayne-inherited charisma is so powerful it allows him to banter his way into good graces of both villains. 5.    DRAGON BALL

5.1.  Saiyajin Pride: Alien biology has a larger impact on characterization that it does in canon. Mirai comes back to the main timeline live in sin with Videl and Gohan. Vegeta and Goku deal with some shit that comes from being the last full-blooded members of their species. Then just as things are settling down… Garlic is an idiot who thinks up a loophole in the “can’t wish people dead” rule and wishes Goku and Vegeta’s families straight out of existence and they end up in an entirely different reality. The only upside is that Vegeta finally gets to kill Frieza. Chaptered, WIP - Unposted

6.    FAIRY TAIL

6.1.  Flight Of Dragons: Future!Lucy misses her target and ends up landing further back in time, during the same year Natsu and the rest of the Dragon Slayer kids were brought to when they were pulled forward in time.  Fairy Tail luck kicks in, and future!Lucy runs into child!Laxus as he escapes from his father after being fed the Lightning Dragon Lacrima. Laxus is handed a Prophecy and runs with it. Children have never needed Fairy Tales to tell them that Dragons exist, but they certainly help. Chaptered, WIP - Posted

7.    FAMILIAR OF ZERO

7.1.  A Velvet Glove: Crossover with TMNT – Leonardo gets summoned to be Louise’s Familiar. Since all of his brothers are dead, Leo sees no reason not to make the most of this “lifelong bond of magic and spirit” and adopts Louise as his little sister. Halgenkia is not prepared for a Louise Francois le Blanc de la Valliere with ninja training. Henrietta is probably far too gleeful over making her best friend her Spymaster, but it’s not like anyone knows enough about what they’re doing to stop her. Reconquista gets exposed and smashed, and Wardes really should have respected his fiancée more. Chaptered, WIP - Posted

8.    FINAL FANTASY VII

8.1.  A Dirge of Ice and Fire: Crossover with GOT – Several members of Avalanche and the Elite Soldiers are reincarnated as the spares and bastards of Westeros’ Great Houses. Given that Rhaenys Targaryen used to be Cid Highwind, the Sack of King’s Landing goes very differently. Meta

8.2.  A Feather’s Weight: Crossover with Naruto – Kakashi and Obito, along with their respective subordinates, are reincarnated in Wutai, and are thus in position to undermine a lot of Hojo’s plans simply by being themselves. Wutai still loses, but by a much smaller margin, and SHIN-RA realizes much too late that Wutai’s “concession” was a trap. 20.3.               A Widening Gyre: Rin survives the Chidori and her existence is now an S-class secret. Said S-class secret distracts Obito on his way to ambush Kushina’s labour and several different chase scenes take place. They all end up in the ROOT base made from one of Tobirama’s old labs and instead of Kyuubi getting loose Team Ro, the Fourth Hokage’s team of bodyguards, Obito, Anko, and all of ROOT plus Danzo himself get dumped into the Warring Clans Era. Obito kills Danzo in a panic when he realizes that taking the Bijuu means killing Rin, Kakashi sacrifices himself again, and there is a lot more running around. Kakashi suborns ROOT en masse, Obito is stupidly overpowered and homicidal but it’s okay because Kakashi is playing damsel in distress and distracting him. The Senju and the Uchiha are all really confused by these kids, there are far too many mistaken identities, and Konoha gets founded much earlier than in canon. Meta

20.4.               According to Custom: Hashirama and Madara should not be left unsupervised (that’s why Mito and Touka tend to lurk nearby when they have tea together) because it causes them to get Brilliant Ideas. Ichigo and Uryuu are very confused when their “cousin” Kazuma shows up to introduce his new bride to the family.
