A Soiled Yellow Shirt

Jorah didn’t particularly engage in any form of self pleasures, whether it was indulging in the foods he may enjoy or giving himself some sort of release. He tried hard to abstain from it, as he was a knight and he lived to serve. This particular evening, was another story however.

Jorah found himself in his quarters on Dragonstone. Freshly bathed from the filth of getting quite literally flayed to cure his Greyscale. The warmer water still burned a bit on his skin, but at this moment he didn’t care. He was finally back with his Queen.

Thinking about his Queen made him a little lightheaded. She was his solace in the dark moments of thinking he wouldn’t survive Greyscale, but now that he was alive… Thinking about her brought back a different kind of feeling. One he didn’t dare think about until they reunited.

Unconsciously a groan escaped his mouth, he found his hand wondering down to his already hardening cock.

“Gods…”

All of a sudden the fantasies were swirling through his head, about his Queen on her knees pleasuring him, riding him, her dainty hands struggling to wrap around his cock. The thought of her lips wrapping around his tip nearly sends him over the edge. A moan escapes out from him this time.

Entirely too soon for his liking, he feels his releasing coming. His hand pumping around his cock trying to coax himself. He can feel his abs tighten and the feeling of euphoria building up. Just as he can feel himself reach the climax, there’s a knock at the door.

“Ser Jorah? Are you in there?”

In a state of panic, he grabbed the closest piece of clothing to him to release his seed into, his beloved yellow shirt. Biting back a moan (partly in disappointment, mainly in pleasure) he emptied himself onto his yellow shirt. Looking down in slight disappointment for ruining his favorite shirt, he sighed. Well, at least he had a reason to not dispose of it anymore.

Day 2: One-Sided

Day 2 of November Writes = sad Jorah Mormont, set near end of A Dance With Dragons

A knight was not a knight without his sword. 

Ser Jorah had grown up with those words in his ears, the words of Westeros muttered by septa and king, smith and Night’s Watch alike. For a time, Ser Jorah had not been a knight, his sword ripped away and replaced with the golden throttle of Yunkai slavers. 

The Golden Company had given him back a sword. He had found the steel, notched but not unwieldy, well-balanced for its age, amongst a cart of discarded armour. Dead men’s armour. He had whet the blade immediately, restoring it to sharpness and utility. Yet, as he sat, mere lengths from Meereen, he couldn’t help but think it was a dead man’s blade. 

A sword was no use if it was one-sided. The blade wasn’t of course, but its claimant felt he was. He had never wielded the double edged blade of his forefathers, with its hulking bear pommel and Valyrian steel. His father had viewed him as one-sided - a slaver who cared more for property and goods than what it meant to be a knight. 

As an exile, he had never wielded a great Dothraki arakh either. Those were the favoured weapons of the horse lords. To wield one as an other would be an imposition, and an imposition on Khal Drogo’s hospitality meant death. Vicerys had learnt that the hard way. He had remained a one-sided blade, yet his loyalties had begun to change. No longer did he raise a single sharpened edge to protect himself. It was always for Dany. 

His queen had thought him one-sided too, though. To her, he was informer, betrayer, unwanted lover. All were equal in her mind. His love had been one-sided, his loyalty nothing in the face of his disloyalty and betrayal. He had tried to play a double agent - a double sided blade, if the allegory would stretch so far. He was foolish to try and uphold the wishes of the Small Council and serve his Queen. He was her man, her knight, but she had ripped his sword from his hand. 

The weight of the steel was a comfort. He hated the way the leather peeled away from the grip, leaving his calloused hands dusted in brown. The heat meant everything decayed quicker than in Westeros, himself included. Jorah felt as though he had aged a hundred years in a moon’s cycle. The blade was hot - he did not doubt that to hold it against his skin would burn. He doubted if he would feel it as more than an inconvenience. 

He did not deny his love was as one-sided as the sword he had tried to be. If the great songs had told it true, where Ser Arthur Dayne was the Sword of the Morning he would be the Sword of a Single Side. Yet, he was still a knight. So long as the steel glittered, so long as the leather shed and the blade rang hollow against another, he would be a knight. 

A knight’s mission was to protect his Queen. And he would need to grasp his sword in both hands, to use both its edges, to do so.
