[29] Come, see a man, who told me all things that ever I did: can this be the Christ?

Evangelical teaching is that she's either adulterous or prostitute.

The problem with those two interpretations is (1) she was an adulterous she'd been stoned to death and (2) no one's going to listen to a prostitute. And (3) if she was a prostitute or an adulteress Jesus would have said so.

For this woman "all the things she ever did" consisted of five failed marriages.
