another last minute entry lmao - really twisted the prompts around this time, it’s the mason system from apollo justice with phoenix looking grim and two paths/roads leading to either sphere?? idk lol but i had a bit too much fun screwing around with the layer effects on procreate and it made the spheres look ten times cooler and this is the first time i think i’ve tried really intense lighting i hope it looks okay?? anywho have fun

It’s been a few months since Empires s2 came to an end and I wanted to make a piece reflecting on the time we spent with these characters 🥰✨ When season 1 ended I did a series of paintings set to the End Poem, and so I decided to revisit the concept once again, making sure to switch up which line corresponded to which person. This series means a lot to me—in fact, this is one of two big Empires s2 projects I’ve been working on! There’s another one still in the works :D

Starkid is one of the absolute best arguments for supprting independent art. The fact that the shows you're invested in can't get canceled by Big Daddy Streaming, the quality is always amazing, the love of the cast and crew doesn't get squeezed out by surprise budget reductions, the fact that since crowd funding provides almost all costs up front (plus the presence of voluntary digital ticket/in person tickets for additional funding), the fan base can access the full material for whatever cost they can contribute (even if you can give nothing monetarily, you will still get a professionally shot version of the material eventually, without surprise fees or password crackdowns, AND with captions/completely accesible regardless of location). The same goes for Tin Can Bros, Shipwrecked, and all the other associated theater and web series companies loosely connected to Starkid. Like, I cannot believe the amazing content provided to us at the same level as Broadway or streaming services with billion dollars at hand, with almost none of the catches that come with others. Like, I cannot believe that we get all of this right at our hands.

!!! TW // ARACHNOPHOBIA !!! Day 2 here we gooooooooo - do y’all remember the greek myth about how spiders came to be?? like how athena (the greek goddess) challenged a weaver (arachne) to a weaving contest and she lost, so she turned the weaver into a spider - i struggled to come up with the concept/idea for this at first but then after doing some research into the relations between apollo and athena (the greek gods) this tale came back into my mind so i twisted it a little to fit athena from aa instead!! she’s studying a spider in the wright anything agency that looks suspiciously like a certain prosecutor…. (i’m still on the very beginning of the third case in dual destinies aaaaaa) ALSO i forgot to put my signature on the last entry o o p s so i put it on this time

They then spent the rest of the night talking about Hot Wheels modifications and the flavor Blue Raspberry. Until Tails fell asleep by accident and Sonic had to carry him to bed.
