It’s been a few months since Empires s2 came to an end and I wanted to make a piece reflecting on the time we spent with these characters 🥰✨ When season 1 ended I did a series of paintings set to the End Poem, and so I decided to revisit the concept once again, making sure to switch up which line corresponded to which person. This series means a lot to me—in fact, this is one of two big Empires s2 projects I’ve been working on! There’s another one still in the works :D

I have no clue how tumblr works, here is my first post of some of my favorite minecraft youtubers from the bit older series empires smp, with Ldshadowlady, Smallishbeans, Joey graceffa and Mythical Sausage. I took a few liberties with the desgins

Even though I haven't watched the other empire SMP players' videos (yet?), I still intend to draw them later on, and maybe even other series fanart as well

P2 of my Empires S1 designs (slash redesigns?!!!! <3333 (Joel's is here)

Basically I just wanted him to feel. Jungle-y. I took inspiration almost entirely from ancient mayan/Aztec clothing and art, ofc simplified down and changed to fit with his MC skin more :]

I gave him very bright, vibrant colors, to sort of break up his design and add visual difference (also to stand out against Xornoth's dark pallete and be a visual opposite to Scott), Teal is meant to be like the main complementary color, idk how well I did with that tho LMAO

He also has some medallions on his belt, specifically one for Xornoth <333 his crown also glows and floats like a sun, its warm and revitalizes anyone nearby. He has floating gold behind his shoulders also, which turn into his wings when he needs to fly.

Also his netherite sword is now a netherite māccuahuitl, he got that bashin' stick. And I decided since he mainly sells totems of undying, he is the only one of the smp who retains scars thru respawns, just thought it'd be cool LMAO

what i think would fix the season one empires characters.

gem- weed.

fwhip- less weed.

sausage- deep intensive therapy that thoroughly explored all of his self worth issues.

the codfather- a gun.

lizzie- a gun.

joel- i don't know if he can be fixed actually.

scott- a hug and some weed.

pix- less weed.

shrub- a hug.

joey- i don't know but definitely not demon pussy that's for sure.

katherine- something much stronger than weed. cocaine maybe.

pearl- a gun.
