James 'Jimmy' Hopkins

Affection – how do they show affection? What's their love language(s)?

Words of affirmation and Acts of service are Jimmy's go-to acts to show his affection. When he walks to your house and gets into your room already talking about how he "just couldn't stay away." and "he couldn't wait to see your (cute) stupid face." and if you at any point needed something done he will do it for you, you don't ask him to. He will just hear you talking about it and remember. He doesn't even expect anything in return.

Boundaries–  what are some BIG no-nos for your relationship?

When you two got together Jimmy left a trail of shattered hearts behind him. So a big thing in your relationship is him turning down the girls that approach him, mostly Lola (cuz she loves to start issues) and you have to stay away from Gary because he will try and start issues in your relationship. Jimmy also doesn't want to be left in the dark about where you are, and where you're going (the last thing he needs is for you to get into trouble and him not know how to get to you.)

Comfort – How do they comfort you when you’re upset? When the tables turn, do they come to you, or try to handle it themselves?

When you are upset, Jimmy doesn't fully know how to make you feel better. If it's someone who made you upset he will track them down and pummel them, if it's not a physical being then he's a bit lost on how to help. He'll just sit and listen to you as you tell him what's wrong and he'll do his best to make it better. (if you stump a table he'll jokingly cuss at the table before kicking it for you if that'll help.)

Dates – what is their ideal date?

Jimmy is happy to do whatever you want, but if he had to pick he'd enjoy taking you to an abandoned place to smash and graffiti anything you want.

Excitement – How do they act when they’re excited? What excites them?

Jimmy gets a little too excited to beat someone up, so much so that he tells you his plan thirty minutes before he even goes to the fight, and he tells you all about his victory when he's done.

Future – What are their plans for the future? Do they see themselves getting married, or having kids?

Jimmy never thought of settling down especially with his mom being married five times and each time failing so he might be a little discouraged But it's something he wouldn't be opposed to after a nice long relationship. He just doubts anybody would settle for him. He knows he has this bad boy reputation and vibe about him so he knows girls go for him due to that reason, he isn't the guy these girls wanna settle with. This is the guy they wanna have fun with to piss off their parents. On the topic of children, Jimmy is in his final year. He couldn't see himself juggling school and a baby. But in the future, once he's had his fun he might consider just one.

Gifts – What do they give you as presents? How often do they get you gifts? How do they react to getting gifts?

Jimmy's go-to is flowers and chocolates, but after getting to know you more about your relationships he does give more thoughtful gifts. He remembers very small things that you mention in passing without really thinking about them and him one day just gets you that thing or makes you something that resembles it. It's a little scary how much he remembers just from passing comments he hears.

Hold – How do they hold you? Cuddling, sleeping, holding hands…

Jimmy doesn't hold you unless you are alone together, and when you are he likes for you to have your legs over his lap and your head resting under his, he also enjoys laying his head in your lap. Jimmy would rather die than say it to you... But he wants to be the little spoon. Finally, Jimmy is very insecure when it comes to holding hands. (with you) when it was with a random girl before he didn't care what they thought but he is very interested in you and because of his interest, his hands get sweaty. In his last relationship with Zoe, she made a joke about his sweaty hands while wiping her hand, and while he laughed it did make him selfconscious about it.

Ideal – What’s their ideal partner like?

With Jimmy only has two types... Either you are a complete badass, you detention all the time, always ready to fight for any reason... Or you are a sweetheart with a shy persona, very cute and loving towards him but you will kick ass when feeling like you need it. And there is no in between

Jealousy – Do they get jealous easily? How do they handle it?

Jimmy doesn't get jealous easily but when he does get jealous it's pretty intense. He mostly gets jealous when it comes to Gary, or when a prep thinks it's ok to try and upstage him...

Kisses – How do they like to kiss you? How frequently do you kiss?

Jimmy is very particular about PDA. When he is around family (your family) he will turn the PDA down, he has been yelled at for PDA in the past. However, when you are out in the town doing your own thing he doesn't care. They could all sit there and watch for all he cares.

Likes – what are things you like to do together?

Jimmy likes to take you to the carnival, it's a bit old by now but the town fixed it up over the years and there are lots of fun things to do. Jimmy has won you so many gifts you're running out of places to get them. Other than that Jimmy always likes to show you some fun moves and how to dish out some serious punches.

Melt – What do you do that makes them melt?

When you two are alone laying together sometimes he likes to lay his head on your chest listening to your heartbeat while you trace shapes and words on his back and shoulders, or when you run your hand over his buzzed hair, he likes the sensory feeling of it. It brings him a comfort he can't understand or explain.

Nicknames – What do they call you, and what are their favorite things to be called?

When he first got with you he used the names he used with everyone, "Baby" or "babe" even the occasional "sweetheart" but as he got further into the relationship he gave you more personal nicknames and sweeter ones like "Love" "sunshine" and depending on your features you have you get one tailored to that for example "freckles" or "glasses" or "short stacks" (the nerve of this guy...)

Obvious – How obvious do they make it that they like you?

Jimmy made his interest in you very clear, from the very start. the only thing is he was a big flirt so you didn't take his advances seriously but after some persistence and fighting people off you let him take you on a very nice date.

Parents – Do they introduce you to their parents? Have they met yours?

No. He hopes you'll never meet his mom and his "Fat old Geezer" of a stepfather, and if by any chance you do meet his mom, she is shocked, to say the least. She'll interstate you about Jimmy and the relationship you have, she isn't convinced Jimmy is serious about a long-lasting relationship. This ends in Her and Jimmy getting into an argument. His stepfather is doubtful at best and creepy at worst. Jimmy almost gets into a physical altercation with him...

Quiet – How are the calm, quiet moments with them?

Jimmy can be quiet when he wants to be, but he likes to be loud, he likes announcing his presents in every room he walks into. But he is calm with you, less angry and it's a low chance he'll try and fight you.

Romance – How romantic are they? What are their go-to ways of being romantic?

Again, Jimmy can be very romantic when he wants to be. He wouldn't go super sappy when others are around (Pete is an exception) he just has a reputation to keep up, but once you are alone he can be very cheesy and romantic

Safe – What makes them feel safe and comfortable around you?

It's not so much of him being Safe and more of him being so calm he can fully relax without needing to worry about fighting anyone. Jimmy keeps you safe, even if you are bigger or stronger it doesn't matter. Jimmy keeps you safe.

Tend – How do they act when you tend to them when hurt or sick, and vice versa?

Jimmy is a little embarrassed, he doesn't want to seem weak around you. But if you sing him praises about how strong he is and how impressed you are, he'll warm up to the idea of you fixing him up. When Jimmy is sick he will fight (verbally ) to get you to stay away from him so you don't get sick but if you say you brought him his favorite warm meal... Or just some good soup... He won't say no.

When it comes to you being sick he'll stay away, unless you tell him you need him. Then he'll give in.

Unique – What’s an unusual thing about them that’s oddly charming?

Jimmy smiles with a smirk. He's constantly smirking around you. Others think he's being a douchebag and giving a stupid smirk, but you know he's just happy to be around you. He just shows it in his own way.

Variety – Do they prefer to keep things the same, or spice it up?

With Jimmy, no one day is The same. One day is calmly playing video games with Pete, the next you're throwing rocks off the back of Jimmy's bike trying to get the gang chasing you and Jimmy.

Want – What made them want to be in a relationship with you?

You weren't one to let someone be bullied. It made him gravitate toward you to help him with his little missions. After almost getting caught, jumping fences and almost getting caught but police and truancy officers he grew to really like you.

Xoxo – what are their favorite kisses?

For him, Jimmy is a sucker for neck kisses it was him feeling giddy inside. For you, he likes kisses right on the mouth.

Yearn – What do they do when they miss you?

If he misses you while you are at work or an after classes activity he'll wait outside for you and meet you as soon as you get out, but if it's something he can't go to you for he just sits on his bed with a stuffed animal or a piece of clothing you left behind cuz it smells like you.

Zzz – How do they act when they get sleepy? How is it sleeping in the same bed?

Jimmy gets very grumpy and clingy. Meaning he will either call you over or find his way to you and lays in bed taking you with him and if you dare to move he will either A) Bite you, B) Rant about how you don't love him, C) bribe you with kisses and Back messages to stay, or D) all of the above in that order.

after jimmy moved to bullworth he sunk into a depression. he would stare at the picture of you that he tore out of someone’s yearbook. he hated how he had to move schools again. after a few days he took someone’s bike and went in every nearby store to look for a phone. the same 10 digits played in his head on loop. after an afternoon of biking, he found a bar 7 miles away from school, the yellow phone staring him down through the window. he took a deep breath in and walked in, straight to the old phone. his hand reached for the buttons before someone stopped him.

“you have to pay to use that… and aren’t you too young to be in here?!” a man said.

he gulped and explained himself, how he wanted to call his girlfriend. the shop owner sighed, allowing jimmy to call you, then telling him the price of a call.

jimmy gulped and handed him over the pocket full of quarters that were stashed away in the pockets of his sweatpants. no more sodas for him.

he entered in your number and anxiously waited for you to pick up. after an agonizing second he heard the phone stop dialing and then heard your voice. he sighed in relief.

its going to be hard to trust him at first, especially due to the fact he’s always making out with girls left and right in the hallways.

Random Bully Headcanons I made up an hour ago:

- The rivalry between Derby and Johnny is one-sided. Johnny is mainly the aggressor while Derby could care less. Occasionally though, Derby would try to piss off Johnny by convincing one of the Preps to ask Lola out on a date, specifically to either watch Johnny lose it or as an attempt to get him kicked out of the Academy and leave the Greasers without a leader. Gord was an example of him doing this, but due to Jimmy's interference, he had to stop doing it out of the little concern he had for his clique members' wellbeing. (Chad genuinely tried to get with Lola without Derby convincing him into it and the Preps made fun of him relentlessly for it afterwards.) It's partly why he chooses to completely brush Jimmy off when he's tried to give evidence of the Townies being the ones who took their trophies. All because Jimmy ruined his free entertainment.

- In general, Derby doesn't seem to care about the school heriarchy. In game, he rolls his eyes at the idea of there being a "King of the school" since it obviously wasn't an actual thing, just something Gary made up. It's mentioned that the Preps would prefer Bullworth only being a rich kids school. Well, after the riot broke out at the end of the game, what do the Preps do? Haul themselves up in Harrington House, presumably as an easy way to claim that they had no real involvement in the riot or any of the bullying, unlike the "poors".

- Gary has an obsession with Real-Time-Strategy video games, particularly the Age of Empires series. He also has a secret love of TableTop RPGs since they're pretty much a looser RTS to him. Due to the reputation of them being ruined by the Nerds, though, he'd never actually admit to it. If he ever got the chance to play, he'd only choose to be a DM since he's a control freak.

On his medication, he'd be a fairly rough DM, with maybe a bit too many combat encounters, but he'd at least try and have some kind of plot until he inserts his OP DMPC into the party that looks suspiciously similar to him in his Halloween costume from the Halloween mission. But with the physique of a body builder. It's totally not him though.

Unmedicated, the first dungeon the players encounter would be similar to DnD's Tomb of Horrors, regardless of what level they were. His OP DMPC is the boss of the dungeon. He doesn't expect the PCs to survive the dungeon at all.

That last one is kind of a joke but I think it lines up with Gary's personality so...

The sky was a dark, brooding gray, with a storm looming on the horizon, but Jimmy barely noticed. His breath came in ragged gasps as he sprinted up the final flight of stairs, the sound of rain beginning to pelt the rooftop growing louder in his ears. The air was thick with the scent of smoke as gasoline. His fists were clenched tight, knuckles white from fury. This had gone too far.

Max was up there.

As Jimmy burst through the rooftop door, the first thing he saw was the wild blaze Max had already started—flames licking at the school’s edge, growing dangerously large in the gusting wind. Max stood at the rooftop's far edge, his back turned, a crazed grin on his face as he waved a torch high over his head.

"MAX!" Jimmy roared, his voice breaking through the cacophony of the oncoming storm.

Max turned, slowly, as though savoring the moment. His eyes glinted with malice, reflecting the flames. "Jimmy," he sneered, "you’re too late. The fire’s already started. This place is going down, and no one’s gonna stop me! Gary is going to be so proud!” A manic laugh escaped his slurred lips.

"You’re out of your mind!" Jimmy shouted, already barreling forward, fists raised. His feet pounded against the wet surface, slipping slightly with every step, but he never lost focus. He might have hated bullsworth but he’ll even HE wouldn’t take it this far. That rat Gary smith dug into the weirdo preps head.

Max laughed—a cold, biting sound. "It’s what they deserve, Jimmy! What we all deserve. This place... ruined us!" He flicked the torch, letting the flames dance dangerously close to a new corner of the roof. “Gary has the right idea! If he can’t run the school then no one can!” Spit flew out his mouth as he spoke, mixing in with the incoming raindrops that began to sprinkle down. He clicked the lighter on, watching it lick the air it’s been exposed to.

Jimmy was on him in an instant, slamming into Max’s side with the force of a battering ram. The torch clattered to the ground as Max was sent sprawling, sliding across the rain-slicked surface.

But Max was quick, too quick. He rolled to his feet, fists raised, wild eyes locked on Jimmy. "You think you can stop me, huh? You think you can play hero?! You, Hopkins have been nothing but trouble since you have got here! You have ruined everything!”

Jimmy didn’t answer—he simply charged again. This time, Max met him head-on. Their fists collided in a brutal flurry, each hit sending shockwaves through their bodies. Max's punches were wild, erratic, driven by madness. No wonder derby prevented from boxing again. Jimmy’s were sharp, precise, driven by raw fury.

For every punch Jimmy landed, Max retaliated with a vicious blow of his own. It was like fighting a wild animal. Max’s eyes were bloodshot, his breath ragged, and his grin never left his face. A sick expression of joy in his features.

Jimmy ducked a swing and drove his fist into Max's gut. Max doubled over, gasping, but he swung out blindly, catching Jimmy across the face. Jimmy stumbled back, tasting blood, but he couldn’t stop. Not now.

Max, coughing, staggered toward the edge of the roof again. "You can’t stop it, Jimmy!" he wheezed, reaching for another torch. "I’ll burn it all!"

"Like hell!" Jimmy growled, wiping blood from his mouth. He rushed Max once more, tackling him to the ground. They rolled, fists flying, until they reached the edge, the flames inches away from swallowing them both.

Jimmy twisted Max’s arm, forcing him to drop the lighter again, but Max was relentless. He kicked Jimmy off him, scrambling to his feet and diving for another canister of fuel. Just as Max was about to hurl the contents onto the fire, Jimmy tackled him from behind, slamming him hard into the ground. The canister went skittering across the roof, spilling harmlessly away from the flames.

Max screamed in rage, thrashing wildly, but Jimmy had him this time. He wrenched Max's arm behind his back, pinning him down as the rain poured harder, slowly drowning out the fires Max had started.

"Stop it, Max! It’s over!" Jimmy shouted, his voice barely audible over the storm. The rain was coming down in torrents now, drenching them both, steam rising from the dying flames.

Max groaned, his breath ragged, his face a mask of blood and bruises. "No..no..I failed I failed him..” panic shook in his tone. His pupils vibrating as his teeth clattered.

Jimmy tightened his grip, keeping Max’s arm twisted behind his back. "This isn’t the way. You don’t get to decide who pays! That freak Gary has gotten in your head. It’s over. “ Jimmy managed out through heavy breaths.

The fight drained out of Max. His body went limp under Jimmy’s weight. Blood pooling out his nose mixing into the puddle of saliva drooling out of him. “I’m…sorry…Gary…”

Max has passed out!

-Totally makes fun of you for being a single teen parent,knocking a girl up and she didn’t stay with you even though countless times you’ve told everyone it was a drunk thing and that you two are actually close,your style,the way you talk,hell one time he made fun of Tallulah’s R’s and you went ham on him. No one has seen you this angry and they don’t want to after you literally made him go to the hospital.

When they confront each other

Jimmy isn’t stupid actually he’s pretty damn smart so when he notices Gary acting the way he does with anyone else he knows he’s not alone with the obsession. “Jimmy buddy! Since we’re such good friends I’m just gonna give you this one little warning….STAY THE FUCK AWAY FROM Y/N!” Jimmy got closer to Gary wanting to fight him but he’s only given a few warnings. “And what if I don’t?” Gary grabbed Jimmy’s collar trying not to punch his past errand boy. As soon as Jimmy said that a fight ensued. “BOYS CUT IT OUT!” “GOD DAMN IT JIMMY” the teachers pulled off Gary while Jimmy as being held by you. Gary hated how he was so close to you! They both agreed that they’ll fight for your love.
