Eric Hananoki at MMFA:
Right-wing commentator and U.S. House nominee Addul Ali appeared in an interview with far-right podcaster Jesse Lee Peterson, wherein they made misogynistic statements about women holding leadership positions.  After prompting by Peterson, Ali said, when it comes to women taking leadership roles, “There is a type of woman that is not suited for that — i.e., Kamala Harris is not suited. I can't see her sitting down with serious men.” After Peterson said he notices “that every time men listen to women today, they suffer,” Ali replied: “I ain't going to argue that. I’m not going to argue that one.”  Ali is a media consultant who hosts a podcast. He also recently appeared in an MSNBC focus group. He is the Republican nominee for Congress in North Carolina’s 12th Congressional District and previously served as the chair of the Cabarrus County GOP in North Carolina.
The North Carolina Republican Party has been backing his campaign, and Ali has said he’s received the support of North Carolina state Senate Majority Leader Paul Newton and state House Speaker Tim Moore. Ali was listed as a special guest at the opening of a Trump Force 47 campaign office in North Carolina and recently attended a rally featuring vice presidential nominee Sen. JD Vance (R-OH), whom he met.  Ali appeared as a guest on the September 20 edition of The Fallen State, a podcast hosted by Jesse Lee Peterson that streams online.  Peterson has a long history of making extreme remarks, including against women, declaring in 2012 that “one of the greatest mistakes America made was to allow women the opportunity to vote.” In 2021, he wrote, “If women didn’t vote there would be no such thing as ‘LGBTQ rights’ ‘reproductive rights’ (right to kill babies), and all the mess that’s going on today,” and in a post this year said: “I do not recommend women get involved in politics — they cannot handle power in the right way. Women were created to follow, not to lead. If she’s not married, or doesn’t have kids, she should work though.”
As he has in the past, Peterson asked his guest for his opinion on the role of women in society, arguing that “God did not create women to be leaders” and women being in the forefront is “not good for our country.”  Ali responded by saying, in part, that he’s “all for, you know, women representing their community. If they can run for office and represent their community and represent the interests of their community, I'm all for women, you know, running and, you know, leading their own businesses and being entrepreneurs and things like that. But I think that there is a type of woman that is not suited for that — i.e., Kamala Harris is not suited. I can't see her sitting down with serious men like Xi Jinping or Vladimir Putin.”
Serial misogynist podcaster Jesse Lee Peterson and NC-12 GOP House nominee Addul Ali trafficked in sexist and misogynistic attacks against Kamala Harris and women in leadership roles on Peterson’s The Fallen State podcast.

Anti-Gay Conservative Radio Host BAILS When Confronted About Gay Porn He 'Liked' on Twitter
Far right Trump-supporting pastor and radio host Jesse Lee Peterson has preached hate for years. Years back he accidentally liked gay pornographic images on his public Twitter account, but continued to preach hate after outing himself. In an episode of the H3 Podcast he was confronted about it, and it did not go well.

Eric Hananoki at MMFA:
Right-wing commentator Mark Burns, who is in a Republican primary run-off for a U.S. House seat in South Carolina, told a misogynistic host last year that “man is the leader of his family. His wife, the Bible says, is to be submissive to her husband.” Referring to the role of a wife, he said, “You're supposed to obey.”   Burns is a Christian nationalist pastor and right-wing media guest who has a history of making toxic remarks, including about LGBTQ people. Former President Donald Trump has endorsed Burns. Media Matters recently reported that he is a repeat guest on the show of Stew Peters, a Hitler-praising antisemite who has promoted Holocaust denial. Burns has called Peters a “friend.”  Burns appeared on the February 3, 2023, edition of The Fallen State. The show is hosted by Jesse Lee Peterson, who has a long history of extreme rhetoric. The Southern Poverty Law Center has noted that Peterson has “been infamously quoted as saying, ‘Thank God for slavery,’ suggesting it got Black people out of Africa and into the U.S.” Peterson, who is Black, said that “most Blacks today -- unlike the days when I was growing up -- are mentally ill, they’re mentally retarded.” And he’s also claimed that “unless white people take over, it’s over for America.”
[...] During their interview, Peterson asked Burns for his opinion on the role of women. Burns replied, in part, that “man is the leader of his family. His wife, the Bible says, is to be submissive to her husband.” Citing the Bible, he added that a husband is supposed to be the head of his wife and the wife is “supposed to obey” her husband.
Far-right MAGA extremist and Congressional candidate Mark Burns told serial misogynist Jesse Lee Peterson in 2023 that a wife should be “submissive to her husband.”

"That person really showed you, a woman, by accusing you of misogyny to defend the honor of a fictional character! Truly good faith!" And in other news, Candace Owens, Jesse Lee Peterson, and Blaire White just blipped out of existence!

GOP Senate Candidate Rails Against ‘Educated’ Women on Eve of Election‘TOO MOUTHY’
Minnesota‘s Royce White not only believes women are “too mouthy,” but that their formal schooling won’t bode well for marriage.
Royce White, the GOP Senate candidate in Minnesota who once wrote that the “bad guys won” World War II, had another bizarre take Monday—this time about the downsides of being married to an “educated” woman. On a Nov. 1 radio interview on far-right Christian preacher Jesse Lee Peterson’s The Fallen State, White, who also said he believes women “have become too mouthy,” declared that marrying “an educated woman, statistically, would probably not be a good idea.”
In the interview, flagged by progressive watchdog group Media Matters for America, Peterson broaches the subject by saying he tells men “not to marry women who are educated, because educated women do not make for good wives and mothers.”“Do you agree with that?” Peterson, who has called women’s suffrage “one of the greatest mistakes America made,” asked.
“That educated women don’t make for good wives and mothers? You mean in the traditional sense, like educated in school?” Royce said in response. After Peterson affirmed that’s what he meant, White said he agreed, and suggested that it would be better if they went to church instead.
