Rory snorts. "What do you take me for, Martha Stewart? We're going for pizza."

Jess laughs softly and shakes his head. "Next time we do this, I'm making the basket."

She grins at him curiously. "Next time, huh?"

"That's assuming I don't lose my shit and fly across the country to lose my shit at the beach," Jess jokes self-deprecatingly.

"One, there are plenty of nice beaches to lose your shit at right here on the east coast, and two, next time I'm just going to follow you."

He quirks an interested smirk at her. "Oh, yeah?"

"Yep. Gonna pack up Hope, torture a plane-full of people with an infant who's never flown before just to stomp on your foot for repeating dumb, unhealthy behaviors."

Jess nods slowly. "Good to know."

i like how dean represents rory’s humble small town stars hollow world and logan represents rory’s wealthy ivy league world and rory being torn between these two worlds is basically the theme of the show, so you’d think that the narrative would be very dean vs logan. yet both of them are intimidated not by each other but by this little guy who comes out of nowhere during both relationships, displays an undeniable connection with rory and dips. i love it.

You've been dating Milo Ventimiglia, your ex lover Jess from the series, for three years now. Was it love at first sight?

A: Yes, we connected immediately. Before he came on the set of the Gilmore Girls I was very lonely in Los Angeles, and had no one. But from the moment I got to know him we've been very good friends. We do everything together. We're very happy.

Q: Are you romantic?

A: Kind of. I regularly cook for Milo. But that's also because I love to cook fancy things (that's how it was written in my dictionary). I cut recipes from the newspaper and then I try them out. Very relaxing!

James finds Regulus reading by the Black Lake. He’s leaning against a tree and James takes a second to appreciate how beautiful he looks before he sighs and walks over.

“Hey.” James says.

“Shit! You scared me, Potter.” Regulus startles. “What do you want?”

James takes a deep breath with a sad smile. “I just wanted to say sorry. I’ve…erm… I’ve been kind of bugging you lately, so I wanted to apologize.” James tells him. Regulus closes his book and stands up but doesn’t say anything. “I sort of thought… er… I thought our ‘banter’ was maybe… er… flirting.” James admits awkwardly. “But I think I misread the situation. I understand that you’re not interested, and I’ll respect that, and I won’t bother you anymore.” Regulus stares at James with an unreadable expression but still doesn’t say anything. James rubs the back of his neck and avoids eye contact for a moment. “Right. So, I’ll just… I’ll just go. Sorry.” He says again and turns and walks away.

James gets about halfway back to the castle before he hears Regulus. “Wait!” James immediately turns around and Regulus is much closer than he thought. He runs right into James’ chest and James instinctively reaches out and grabs Regulus’ forearms to steady him. James keeps his hands on Regulus’ arms, and they gaze at each other for a moment before Regulus breaks the silence.

“It was flirting.” Regulus says quickly. “I’m just really bad at it… We can keep… erm… bantering?” He winces and slowly pulls his arms away as they stare at each other for another quick moment. “Okay. Bye.” He says suddenly and turns on his heel and swiftly walks away.

James is left frozen for a minute before he processes what just happened then a giant grin spreads across his face.
