Idk if this is unpopular opinion or not but while Percy is like “fuck this demigod stuff I am retired” I think Nico would be working in the underworld in the future like I just have this vision of him in a mix of modern and ancient greek clothing doing missions for Hades collecting some troublesome souls idk helping with the judgement talking shit with the dead making the playlist for their elevators vibing to tragedy by bee gees he kinda enjoys the demigod stuff even if its hella dangerous or whatever

jean knows lying won't do him any good, especially lying to his best friends.

jean likes you, he's liked you for a while actually.

he likes your smile, your humor, the way you carry yourself, he likes that you always know how he's feeling even when he doesn't say it and how you always brighten up his day. whenever you walk into the room, all the gloomy feelings he has evaporates.

he likes how you make him feel wanted. he likes every moment he spends with you, he likes the days when you two would go to the library to study, the days the two of you would go to cafes and just talk for hours, the days you two would go to a playground and just mess around, or the days you two would spend in his room just listening to vinyls.

he would climb the tallest mountains and swim the deepest of seas if it meant you'd be happy. his heart almost always beats out of his chest whenever he sees you.

"jean, it sounds like you're trying to convince yourself more than me" sasha replied, "i mean if you like her just go for it, y'know she probably likes you back" sasha added to herself.

"you think she might like me back? really?" jean said, connie and sasha share a look. "so you do like her?" sasha asked. jean widened his eyes, "loser, you can admit it, no ones gonna come out and get you." connie teased.

a day has passed since the conversation he had with his two friends, did he finally admit he liked you? no, of course not.

"thanks for walking me home, i appreciate it a lot." you said to break the silence. "i appreciate that you're letting me walk you home, i'd rather be here than anywhere else." he retaliated, and to make you even more flustered than you already were, he gave you his signature charming smile.

you nodded, "y'know, i've been hearing a lot of rumors in school." he looks at you confused, and also partly wishing his friend group didn't rat him out on his small crush on you. "rumors? what do you mean?"

you looked at him, "jean, do you want to go out to the carnival with me this weekend?" he blinked, why were you changing the topic so quickly? was it something he said? his thoughts were going a million miles a minute. "yea sure, i can pick you up. who's coming?" well, at least he sounded a bit suave.

"no, i mean, i want to go with you, just you, like just you and me." you were stumbling over your words, you were obviously very nervous. jean finds it very cute, but he couldn't admire you when he is equally as nervous and he's very certain his brain is malfunctioning.

"just you and me?" he asked to make sure he was hearing things right.

you nodded "just you and me, like a date, i mean that's how dates work right? i think, no i'm pretty sure they work like that, sorry, i'm rambling way too much"

jean is going to explode, his heart is actually gonna beat out of his chest, at least he'll die knowing you like him back.

"no no, i'm sorry i was just confused, i didn't think you liked me back" jean laughed awkwardly. "so the rumors i heard were true? i'm so relieved, i thought i was taking my chances here." you sighed.

"of course they're true! you are all i can think about if i'm gonna be honest." he confessed.

to say you were flustered was an understatement, "jean, i feel exactly the same about you, it's like you complete me, i wouldn't be me without you."

when those words came out of your mouth jean knew his tiny crush on you maybe isn't as tiny as he thought it was.

jean kissed you, he couldn't help himself. how could he? you're all he could dream of, and you just said you liked him back. but now he could add 'an amazing kisser' to the list of things he likes about you.

"i would love to take you on a date." he said after he pulled away.

"i hope you know i'll be holding you to that" you smiled.

saw a tiktok that was like. Daily Affirmations: my work crush doesn’t like me. and now i’m like wow i wish i could send this directly to all of my new high schooler coworkers. who are all really annoyingly obsessed with our one male manager because he’s The Chill Manager. you may have seen me refer to this man before (it’s different when EYE love him because we are the same age. the high schoolers being obsessed with him is weird as hell and he DOES need to stop encouraging this) back in winterspring i was doing a lot of opening shifts with him and i was joking that we had the king and lionheart dynamic. which was real at the time but not so much the vibe now just because like. the vibe has shifted idk i work different shifts there’s different other managers i’m technically promoted there’s all these new people i don’t care about. the vibe is different. anyway. don’t care for these high schoolers and their obsession with him. especially because they’re like actual assholes sometimes to my friend managers… (they used to just work here and then two managers left and they got promoted) (i also technically got promoted at the same time but they rank above me and do more shit that i don’t want to do so like. obviously i’m not bitter or jealous about it. like if i had to manage a bunch of teenagers that didn’t respect me i might cry every single day) (which is happening to one of them fr. they’re literally such assholes to her sometimes it’s crazy like she’s not even as mean to you people as she should be…) not to side with like. The Man or whatever but unfortunately i’m not a teenager with a part time job i go to when i don’t have soccer practice so i cannot relate to the proletariat in this situation… like i knowww they’re seeing my girl as Bitch Manager and it’s making me hate them soooo bad. like you idiots can’t even fold jeans correctly!! i hate you!!!!

whats your favorite art movement(s)

ooh thats a tough question... im a big big fan of art nouveau/art deco/secession (i can never remember which is which sorry they all live in a soup in my head) in all forms but especially in architecture; literature-wise i inherited a love of the Romatics + gothic literature etc umm what else i don't know much about paintings and suchlike if im honest.. take me to any art exhibition and ill go wow these are pretty :-) i usually find myself drawn to things less focused on realism though . hmm the pre-raphaelites are fun also.... what about you!!

i went to watch a movie based on fuckin dungeons & dragons and came out a changed person
