since janus sheds does remy molt? how do they each deal with their cycles?

Remy's spider legs do molt, though I haven't done any research on molting so I can't really go into detail about that. However, I have done research on shedding for snakes! It's been a while, so I had to dig out my notes for this.

Don't hold me to any of this, it's just preliminary ideas that may change by the time they make it into the story.

Janus sheds four to six times a year with roughly two to three months between each shed. The process lasts seven to ten days. It makes him anxious, cranky, and dials his survival instincts up to an eleven. He also goes blind in his snake eye and becomes a picky eater.

The time frame (if I don't change it) means that he had his shed at least once while a prisoner which was a horrible experience. His sheds are usually already miserable, imagine having to do it while chained up and surrounded by monster hunters. Worse, what if they used his shed as part of his torture? He's lucky fae have enhanced healing on top of healing magic or else permanent damage could have been done.

He usually stays in his room with the humidity cranked up high and only trusts his family to get near him. Long baths help with the itchiness.

I'm thinking of adding one of his sheds to the story as a sic fic sort of thing but, again, don't hold me to that.

So for your God Janus Paladin Virgil au, how does the kiss a day work?

Cause all I can imagine is like, day 1 of knowing this guy the rest of the sides see him kiss this ethereal being that then just leaves, then Virgil goes about business as usual-

Virgil constantly pushes off and procrastinates giving Janus his kiss until its as close to midnight as Janus will allow without taking matters into his own hands. Virgil's okay with it as long as the others are asleep and Virgil is the one keeping watch because he's embarrassed and does not want to deal with the twins knowing literally anything about this.

Janus, meanwhile, cares only enough to know this is something that Virgil is passionate about so he plays along. He hangs out with the others as a snake, and Virgil allows everyone to believe that Janus is his familiar/pet through the power of just never correcting them. They have no clue for the LONGEST time that Janus is actually an Ancient Evil Eldritch God that was sealed away for all eternity.

And of course its Remus who figures it out first.

Au where the sides have souls of people Thomas has helped. And not like in a previous life or anything. They died in this world.

That’s why the sides have names, because Patton, Logan and Roman were all helped by Tom when he was young, so they’ve been there for most of his life.

hello admin! please catch me up on all of this blogs lore like ships and stuff

Of course!!

I was thinking about doing a "catch up with the lore" post so I'm glad you asked!!

First off! Ships! Not too important for the lore but they're: Intrulogical, Mociet, Prinxiety

Now the lore!

It all started when someone stole Romans plushie. But someone else returned it. No one noticed though. Slowly, orange gained power.

Then orange was strong enough to capture Virgil.

He used Virgil as bait to lure Janus into a trap while Roman and Patton were out in the Imagination looking for Virgil. Logan and Remus stayed home to wait for Virgil. No one knew that Orange, aka, Augustus, was behind all of this until Janus went missing.

Logan was the second (behind Janus) to realize Augustus was capturing the others, and then took Remus to the Imagination. They caught up with Roman and Patton and filled them in on what was happening.

At this point, Augustus had released Virgil back to their Mind Palace, but was still keeping Janus in the Old Mind Palace. He wanted Janus and Patton out of the way, and Logan for himself.

Logan felt a pull that he followed, and ended up at the Old Mind Palace, alone.

Roman and Patton decided it would be best for Patton to go back and protect Virgil, while the twins went to hopefully save Janus and Logan.

Augustus gave Logan a deal. Join him and save the others, or turn him down and risk the others getting hurt.

Logan did not take the Deal.

Augustus teleported him and the twins back to their Mind Palace, where they found out that Patton and Virgil are both missing.

Now they are licking their wounds and trying to figure out a plan.

Side notes:

Remus was under the impression that he and Logan were dating, Logan didn't know. They have not talked about it yet

Patton and Janus are not yet confirmed to be dating or not

Janus was originally at home also waiting for Virgil when he realized Augustus had him

Augustus is Narcissism, and his animal trait is a peacock. His goal is to have total control of Thomas' decisions.

Occasionally other characters (like Remy and Emile Picani) are available to answer questions

None of this is canon!!! This is all just fun and games!!! So have fun with it!

Big Feelings About a Little Snake

Roman and Remus hated Janus when they first found out about him. They were mad at their dad for sleeping with someone so soon after their papa died. They storbornly insisted their dad's new son would only ever be their half-brother in blood and nothing more. They would never consider him true family.

All of that went out the window for Remus when he actually met baby Janus because he has scales! That's so cool! Who doesn't want a brother with scales!?

Roman took a little longer to come around but what really won him over was how Remy reacted to Janus. Having another hybrid around meant a lot to Remy. It meant even more that said hybrid was part unseelie monster and a seelie prince who would one day be ruling the kingdom. Plus, he was just so cute. Remy adored Janus and soon Roman couldn't help but love his littlest brother too.

What Thomas did is still a bit of a sore spot for Roman but Thomas always says he can't regret what he did because he got Janus out of it and Roman, in turn, has decided that he can't wish it didn't happen because he got his baby brother out of it. Though, he still doesn't understand why his dad stopped mourning Papa so early.

the story never ends. even if it softens a bit with a kind-eyed barista who thought too highly of the world. even if they can put their claws away and they don’t have to bare their teeth. things change, but never as much as they should. and so they keep their fangs and nails and lashing tongue and they cut down so many ignorant people that they earn a reputation, but they come home and someone loves them and wraps them up in warm hugs and kisses them hello like he’s been looking forward to it all day, and the story doesn’t end, except it does, for you and me. the screen fades to black and we’re left knowing that the two of them are happy, in spite of everything that doesn’t want them to be.)

Guys what if Janus Deceit Sanders from the hit YouTube Web series Sanders Sides by Thomas Sanders had a messy divorce with Patton Morality Sanders because Janus had an affair with Trey Parker (which creates a rift between him and Matt Stone) and so Janus and Trey get into a fight causing Trey to storm off and Janus goes out to the bar and, because this is set around Christmas time, he meets the narrator from Frosty the Snowman and they hook up for a night and when Trey comes back and finds him in Janus’ bed he storms out again, heartbroken, and wants to write a South Park episode about it but Matt Stone has already left and its just not the same without him so Trey Parker has a breakdown in the studio by locking himself in his office and blasting Nine Inch Nails at full volume. Janus finds him and breaks in to not only the studio but Treys office, and they make up miraculously.
