I know the most common fanon for Tuvok post Voyager is that he's mostly fine and one of more stable ones but I personally think it'd be funny if he cracked like a goddamn egg and went off the deep end for a few years before finding his way back to semi-normalcy. Janeway's like "Where's Tuvok?" and the answer is that he quit Starfleet, joined a temple, left the temple in the middle of the night to go wander around the desert, almost died but was taken in by a kindly old woman, lived with her for two months before she died, left the desert hut to alert her family and upon completing that task hopped on the first freighter off Vulcan, got stranded on a deserted asteroid after being the sole survivor of the crash, was rescued, mind melded with an alien who can see the future but died in the process and can't remember anything about it except for the vague feeling that he spoke with Kes, was brought back to life by Chakotay who told him that Janeway was looking for him [at which point he pointed out that Chakotay is also not in contact with Janeway and then ran away again], returned to Vulcan but only to find and climb to the top of a holy mountain which took several months and upon reaching the top he feels a sense of enlightenment which permeates his familial bonds as the first sign in almost a year that he's alive at all. Upon finishing his climb down the mountain he stays in a nearby village and serves in their temple for several more months until it's attacked by aliens because of some artifact hidden deep within the temple walls and he puts his tactical strategy to good use, fending off the attack. Harry Kim [first guy to essentially skip lieutenant class and go right to commander] appears and is like "You need to go home, man. People think you're dead." Then he goes home and joins Starfleet again and he's literally only allowed back in because of Janeway and Janeway accepts him out of her love for her crew and also because she's kind of worried that he'll join an ice fishing expedition or cult if she doesn't. This only adds to the lore of Voyager as a cursed ship and her Crew as all-in-the-family maniacs.

Janeway and Chakotay have No Time for the Good Children (Harry and Kes) because they are so busy keeping the Problem Children (B'Elanna, Tom, Seven) from smashing their life into pieces so Tuvok has to pick up the slack.

Because the whole Tuvix wank is rearing its head every week on Trek forums, I finally decided to rewatch this episode. I mostly avoided it because I am So Tired of the wank and how it's been relitigated for YEARS.
I was over it when it first popped up and I was even more over it with the way it's used as a bludgeon to promote 'psycho Janeway'.
But what's left out in the discussions is Kes's part in all of this, from the jump, Kes was troubled with the merging of Neelix and Tuvok, and anytime Tuvix tried to make advances, she just kept getting more uncomfortable.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
(When Tuvix unconsciously touched Kes's shoulder, it looked like she had to consciously not flinch.)
To Tuvix's credit, he did give Kes space and respected her wishes but she was not happy with the whole merge because her relationship with Neelix and Tuvok is different.
We don't see the other people grieve but we see Kes's grief and confusion, which was shared by Janeway. But also, the moment the EMH had a solution to separate the two people in Tuvix, Harry jumped at the chance.
And he's already spent weeks with Tuvix.
The irony is that Janeway was coming around to thinking of Tuvix as an individual but the cure presented itself, but also as the Ship's Captain she has an obligation to care for her crew and absent or not that meant advocating for the two voices who couldn't speak up: Tuvok and Neelix.
Kes was the deciding factor. Kes made her plea to separate Neelix and Tuvok.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Kes was the biggest reason why Janeway decided to separate Tuvok from Neelix.
It was such a cop-out from the Doctor that he refused to do the procedure he made and pioneered. And forced Janeway to execute it instead.
Tumblr media
Janeway is clearly not happy about the decision and she's caught between a rock and a hard place.
In Nothing Human Janeway verbalizes it.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
"Any consequences of this decision will be my responsibility. Dismissed."
Janeway's constantly put into a wheelhouse of trolley problems, as the only high-ranking Starfleet officer, she is the final authority. In Nothing Human everyone is locked in an endless debate about the morality of using the Cardassians' methods to save B'Elanna's life. Meanwhile, the clock was running down to zero and B'Elanna could have died more.
(Honestly, the story should have been more B'Elanna, Doctor, and Janeway-centric than it was. Nothing Human is a weird episode. Especially since Seven was barely in it and seems to be the Acting Chief Engineer -- amusingly enough because the writers thought they killed Joe Carey between s2 and 3. Alas, poor Vorik, he's not getting any promotions either).
TLDR: Janeway is constantly living through what the Doctor of Doctor Who is living through. Or as the 12th Doctor once said: "Sometimes the only choices you have are bad ones, but you still have to choose."

As someone who has shipped P/C since 1994 and JC since 2006. I just want to say:
Continuing justice for Jean Luc and Kathryn!
( No, no! Not as a ship, you can stop screaming in horror now, I have not abandoned my soulmate pairs)
But as characters:
They both get a very bad wrap for being addicted or married to duty. And in some ways they are, it’s true!
But as confirmed by Picard season 3, Jean Luc says he would have wanted a shot at being a husband to Beverly, from his own lips! And he says that he would have wanted to be a father. She may not have known either of those things, but it doesn’t make them any less fact.
He was also openly affectionate to her, sometimes in public during TNG. Riker knew about them, he says as much to Jack. No one on the crew bats an eye about Jack in fact.
JL and Bev were about as subtle as an air horn set on low volume. Trying to be circumspect, but actually being a billboard for lifetime love. Heck even Shaw knew and we had never met him before. People don’t know that much about a relationship if one person in it is solely married to duty.
And Kathryn! Miss Ma’am let Chakotay build her a bathtub while still trying to get off the planet. She cried at his speech, even though it was so mushy, it could have been day old oatmeal. Why? Because she knew he meant it. ( and I as a mushy viewer, appreciated him being that honest about his feelings too)
She let him give her a rose in Coda and she struggled mightily with his disappointment in her several times in later seasons. Her counterpart in Shattered was also very openly interested in how far they went in seven seasons. (Shoot your future shot lady! Go you!) and no one thinks S7 Kathryn was totally cool with C/7 right? Her face said otherwise. Admiral Janeway, was also heartbroken in about six ways, only two of which were Seven dying and Tuvok getting sick.
She also seemingly, from what I’ve read, made it part of her goal to find him in Prodigy too. Like Jean-Luc with Beverly, when Chalotay is lost, she will seek.
So while yes, duty sometimes sidetracks each of them. they are loving people who adore their other halves as well. They are complex.
And that’s part of why I love each pair, for the devotion that both of the partners in each relationship feel and how they navigate it together.
True love must flow from each heart to make a sustainable ship
And so I hope that as much as we discuss the duty bound Admirals and those who love them, that we also keep discussing and writing about their softer sides and the ways they show that love in return.

This version of T'Pel reminds me of that one Bratz video: X
My current favorite part of the episode-by-episode full-series re-write of Voyager that only exists in my head is having T’Pel on board.
You may recall she talked to Janeway about the mission to pick up Tuvok shortly before they left…. She missed him and was concerned for him….
I know allowing her to come with the ship on the mission isn’t likely behavior for Janeway’s FIRST DAY as Captain BUT
1) I want her there
2) She has almost no characterization, leaving it up to me, and from her checking in right before they leave I have already groundlessly extrapolated an incredibly meddlesome personality that would have no trouble inserting herself in this or any other situation she desires.
The T’Pel in my mind sees no reason not to provide assistance in navigating personal social issues of the people around her. If she has relevant insights surely she must share them.
Unlike most vulcans we know who have a stiff, uncomfortable dignity around personal matters, T’Pel has no such sensitivities. With her vulcan turbo autism power she knows no taboos, no awkwardness, and no limits.
Of course, this started because I desperately desire Tuvok’s participation in the older crew polycule as well as a woman who is not a crew-member onboard who Janeway can have a romance with, but now I am fully enamored with this T’Pel in my mind. She……

btw i DID manage to actually start watching voyager in preparation for threshold day and i have some thoughts on the first episode i'd like to share
-the first two minutes were very star wars. i was amused. scrolling synopsis leading STRAIGHT into space warfare?? which massive sci-fi franchise am i in again??
-i enjoyed getting introduced to crew members i knew were going to instantly die. hello first officer and doctor who i will never see again!
-noooo janeway won't get to see her puppies!!!!
-humongous fan of what appears to be an instant ride-or-die friendship between Harry Kim and Tom Paris
-i think it's fun that neelix (and the the kazon?) don't seem to have beaming technology and are very impressed by it. i hope that's a running theme.
-DON'T like how we're getting b'elanna blaming her "klingon half" for things RIGHT off the bat. GIRL YOU'RE MIXED. YOU'RE ONE UNIQUE THING. DON'T DEMONIZE HALF YOUR HERITAGE. also like frankly she's trapped in a strange place with a stranger (who was very recently and may still be an enemy) while suddenly dying of a mysterious illness so i think her reaction is perfectly understandable
-poor tuvok, it's only episode one and already you're going thru it (having to go fetch neelix out of a bath and hold up a towel for him as he emerges naked)
-i've seen clips from voy before but apparently never heard kes's voice and for some reason it wasn't what i expected. i don't quite know what i was expecting though it just didn't feel quite right.
-neelix did you like. need to shoot those water containers, or was that just an extra "fuck you" to those guys? i mean i understand if it was. they did apparently beat kes up. but.
-tom you seem a little too invested in chakotay's life being "yours" what's with that
-but also oof augh more racism TOM. TOM YOU CAN'T BE SAYING THAT. TOM.
-enjoying the vibe of everyone being like "finally! a doctor i'm ALLOWED to ignore!" with regards to the emh. just turn him off! walk out on him! what can he do? complain? not til u turn him back on!
-fascinated by how quickly chakotay went from being like "i am an enemy to starfleet" to being like "she's the captain🥰😍🥰" like man aren't you supposed to have fundamental ideological differences or some shit. are you just janeway's bestie now or are we ever gonna address that. remains to be seen!
-i would be VERY surprised if all the maquis are just Fine with suddenly being starfleet though. you just unilaterally made everyone starfleet?? you've been FIGHTING THEM! i hope someone gets angry about that, at least. i'm assuming this will come up in future episodes?
-i liked janeway's ending speech <3 hell yeah
anyways i had fun <3
i've been meaning to start voyager for Ages but in spite of having a blog dedicated to a tv show i am comically bad at actually Watching Things (so i definitely don't promise a voyager liveblog lmao. you'd be risking like. three months between episodes at times.) but i finally started it!! exciting.

ST Dialogue Analysis – Who's the Most/Least Used Character
okay this will be the last post in my dialogue analysis series (for now!)
if you want to check out the whole project look at my tag #star trek dialogue analysis, this spreadsheet, or the below posts:
overview // TOS overview // TNG overview // DS9 overview // Voyager overview // Enterprise overview // gender analysis // race analysis
i started this project because i wanted to actually answer the question: "who's the most & best used Star Trek character" (and conversely who's the least/worst used character) i've come up with four ways to answer the question: average lines of dialogue, total lines of dialogue, most high line count episodes, and least low line count episodes.
average lines of dialogue is pretty self-explanatory and is the metric i use for most of this project as it controls for how many episodes each show has (i.e. Archer is measured as having more of a presence than Picard despite having fewer episodes).
total lines of dialogue is also pretty self-explanatory and unlike the average, this will be weighted towards the shows that have more episodes and characters that appear in more seasons.
high line count episodes is a bit more subjective as i measured every episode where a character has 80 or more lines of dialogue. i picked this number kind of at random after looking at some of the raw data but this cut-off seems to have identified which episodes characters appear heavily in and most characters have at least one focal episode.
low line count episodes function similarly to the high line count episodes as i looked for every episode where a character has 10 or fewer lines. again, this number was picked subjectively so take it with a grain of salt.
okay. under the cut we have. a lot of lists.

Ok, so this got a little out of hand so I'm putting it under a Read More. I just love this show so much and can talk about it so much and have no other outlet for it than Tumblr. So... Here you go XD I'm keeping the first paragraph above the line break to help y'all get a peek of what I'm blabbering on about under the break. I might add more to this, who knows.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I grew up watching Star Trek Voyager. I was between the ages of 3-9 while the show was airing, so most of the episodes I remember were either reruns or episodes in the last couple seasons. It was a show my father and I watched together all the time. I'm rewatching it again now, at 32 years old. I've rewatched it before, many years ago, but watching it now, and thinking about how it shaped me as a child has lent me a very interesting perspective of the show.
Captain Janeway was always my favorite character. She was someone I looked up to, and quite possibly my very first queer awakening. I watched the show mostly for her, so it was to her I looked and her actions I paid the most attention to. What little girl wouldnt adore her? She's strong, confident, self assured. She commands her own starship with grace and kindness and compassion, but also with a fierce determination that is almost unrivaled. For a little girl with no mother in her life, no other female role model? It was no wonder I turned to someone like Captain Janeway.
Watching these episodes, and watching her protect her crew so fiercely, watch her having to make all the hard decisions in an effort to do anything to get her crew home without sacrificing her own morals or principles, her trying to make as many friends with other races as she can along the way, affected my growth in ways I'll probably never understand, but will always be thankful for.
And its not just her actions that I feel this show did so well, but the relationships between the characters. On one side, you have Janeway and Tuvok, (a topic I posted about earlier), two old friends who stand by each other through anything and everything, an unfailing and fierce loyalty to each other that is a delight to behold. On another you have Janeway and Chatokay. Two people who used to be enemy captains who eventually see in each other something profoundly different. Their loyalty to each other is new, and takes time to grow at first, but, in my opinion, is no less fierce than it is between her and Tuvok. In her, Chakotay sees a future and perhaps salvation for himself. Its a beautiful relationship that never steps past the threshold of "what could have been." It feels like decades are left unsaid between them, and as a member of the audience I used to think that was tragic. I was so upset that they didnt get together when I was a child, but now? Its a relationship more media needs, in my opinion. They respect each other very much, and want the other to be happy, but they never quite take that extra step. Its a wonderful depiction of friendship between two people of the opposite sex. I dont remember if something like that was common in the 90s, but I feel like modern media has completely ignored this kind of relationship. They're too busy pairing off all the lead male and female characters. Seeing a relationship like Janeway and Chakotay is so important for people to see.
And then there's the crew. I finished watching Revelations just a bit ago. This episode, out of all the episodes Voyager ever aired, was the one episode I never forgot about growing up. The crew love Captain Janeway so immensely, they were willing to face down what could have almost been certain death (or worse) in order to get her back on the ship. Janeway's ship, previously running like a well oiled machine, was breaking apart at the seams without her. Their love, and their loyalty for their captain, and their willingness to do anything for her just like she's willing to do anything for them, is such a heartwarming relationship.
Watching this show so young, during such formative years, its no wonder I turned out so much different than my conservative father. I can only speculate on why he watched the show, but very little of it would be flattering. I doubt he saw the same things I did, or internalized them in any way similarly to me. I feel like Voyager had a powerful and profound message of friendship, loyalty, strength of character, determination, and the importance of kindness and never giving up. I'm so very glad this was one of the shows I got to grow up with, and I wish more shows were like it.
If you made it this far, thank you and I'm sorry. I get rambly when I love something, so I'm both sorry for rambling, and thankful for anyone who made it this far. Feel free to share your own thoughts if you'd like. I'd love to hear them
Me and @kermit-the-fag-official made some dumb ships so here’s the fanfic💀
Their fic: https://www.tumblr.com/kermit-the-fag-official/769167417183207424
Tuvix x Lizard Janeway
Chapter 1:Bro is lowkey wild for that
Chakotay was extremely enraged as he watched Tuvix step off the transporter pad. “GRRRRR!!!” he exclaimed. “First, our helmsman and captain become lizards, and now our security officer and lunch lady became one person!!!.”
“Erm…ackshully,” Tuvix said, “Neelix is not a female, and he does a lot more than prepare lunch.”
Chakotay hissed. “I DID NOT ASK FOR YOUR OPINION.” He proceeded to throw Tuvix against the wall.
“Not nice, man.” Tuvix said. “I was like, just born. Can’t you cut me a break?”
“NOOOOO!!!! GRRRRRR!!!!”
Kes nonchalantly entered the transporter room. She looked at Tuvix and started blushing. He’s such a rizzler, She thought.
“ARGGHHH YOU STUPID FURRY!!!” Chakotay yelled at Tuvix.
“Erm, what the sigma are you doing?” Kes asked.
Chakotay turned around and realized she was there. He started blushing kawaii like a schoolgirl in an anime. “Erm, I was just chatting with my new friend.”
Kes looked at him in disbelief. “Bro stfu you’re not an alpha. Also The Doctor asked me to take ermmmm….Neebok to sick bay.”
“Erm…ackshully, my name is Tuvix; a combination of the names of my fathers.”
“Wait,” Kes said. “TUVOK AND NEELIX ARE MARRIED!? AND THEY HAVE A CHILD!?”
“Um no,” Tuvix exclaimed in a rather annoyed tone. “I am a unique person with the combined DNA, knowledge, and memories of Tuvok and Neelix. I call them my fathers because they did create me using their DNA, so it would only be logical to do so.”
“Just put the fries in the bag, bro.” Kes said, “It’s time to go to sick bay.”
Chapter 2: wtf moment💀
As soon as the turbo lift doors closed Kes started moaning violently and Tuvix was lowkey a traumatized mf at this point. “Hrrrnnbhhhfggggggg.” Kes mumbled. “Finally, someone lowkey chill as Tuvok, and as much skibidi rizz as my alpha Neelix.”
“Erm,” said Tuvix, “I’ll have you know that I have only been living for about twenty minutes and I am too young to lose my virginity.”
Kes looked at Tuvix in a sarcastic way. “Bro lowkey forgot I’m one year old. Imagine, could never be me.”
Tuvix was concerned. “So you’re telling me you’re not a virgin?”
“Erm, I thought you said you have the combined memories of Tuvok and Neelix.” Kes bombastic side eyed.
“Well, about that…..ermmmmm I’m just a forgetful person.”
Kes didn’t care so she continued moaning violently. I need to get him pregnant. She thought.
Finally, the turbo lift doors opened and B’elanna Torres was standing outside.
“Oh, skibidi!” Kes said in a frustrated tone indeed. “I forgot to halt the doors. No wonder it was hard to looksmaxx.”
B’elanna nonchalantly looked at Kes, then at Tuvix. “Who tf are you!?” She asked him.
“I’m Tuvix.” he said.
“Bruh.” B’elanna exclaimed and then she proceeded to enter the turbo lift.
“Whoa buddy, who do think you are?” Kes said in a preppy ahh way. She pushed her.
“Chat, aren’t you going to sick bay with this beta?” B’elannna growled. “Cuz sick bays on this deck, y’know.”
Kes hissed. “HOW DARE YOU CALL MY ALPHA SIGMA DISCORD KITTEN A BETA!!!!” B’elanna rolled her eyes and yeeted Tuvix and Kes into sick bay. B’elanna barked at them to make sure they didn’t come back into the turbo lift.
Chapter 3: Tuvix meets lizard Janeway
Tuvix was rather annoyed indeed that Kes kept touching him. Not as annoyed as The Doctor when he entered the room.
“Oh,” said Kes, “Hi, doctor.” Tuvix could see her blushing like Chakotay did earlier. Bruh, he thought. Why is blud like this? “This is my alpha, Tuvix. Tuvok and Neelix got in a transporter accident.”
“Argghhh,” said The Doctor. “No one ever tells me what’s going on around here.”
Suddenly, Tuvix’s ears bled. “ERMMM!!!! WHAT IN THE ACKSHULLY IS THAT SONG!?”
The Doctor was super pissed. “I’ll have you know that this is my favorite song.” He said angrily. He sang, “FROM THE SCREEN TO THE RING TO THE PEN TO THE KING WHERES MY CROWN THATS MY BLING ALWAYS DRAMA WHEN I RING!!!!!”
“Bro actually thought he ate.” Tom Paris said while laying on the bio beds. He still had some lizard characteristics, such as the tail, so it was really hard for him to mew without having to change his gyatt position every 5 seconds. Janeway was there too, and as Tuvix looked at her, he realized he was blushing in the same way Kes and Chakotay were.
“Hey you beta!” Janeway called to The Doctor. “Who is this mf?”
The Doctor sighed. “Tuvok and Neelix got combined bruh.”
“Bro…that sucks.”
“REAL!” The Doctor exclaimed. “He doesn’t even like my music taste!”
Janeway mewed. “Blud no KSI song is a bop wtf man.”
Tuvix tried not to giggle, because Janeway was so rizzful.
“So, when are we gonna get Tuvok and Neelix back?” Janeway asked The Doctor.
“Soon,” he said, with a huge smirk on his face.
“NOOOOO!!!!” Tuvix cried. “PLEASE GIVE ME A CHANCE TO PROVE MYSELF AN ALPHA MALE!!!!”
Janeway looked at Tuvix, and she realized he had kind of a jawline. “Have you been mewing lately?” She asked.
“No?”
“Bruh never mind.”
Chapter 4: THE EPIC EDGING BATTLE pt 1: Tom Paris is moaning
“HES MY EDGER!!” Kes screamed angrily. “HOW DARE YOU TRY TO RIZZ HIM UP!!!” Janeway was very angry so she yeeted Kes with her lizard tail.
“GRRRRRRRR!!” Kes exclaimed. “SKIBIDI TOILET AHH TAIL!!”
Janeway lowkey didn’t really care cause she was just a chill guy who lowkey didn’t really care.
The Doctor looked at Tom Paris.
Tom Paris moaned, “If you don’t hawk tuah, then I won’t talk tuah.”
The Doctor sighed and then proceeded to spit on that thang.
“Ugggghhhh,” Paris mogged. “Now glaze my lizard toes.”
The Doctor looked at how dry and sad his toes were. “Only if it gives you aura.”
Meanwhile, Tuvix was watching Janeway and Kes fight. “THATS IT!” Janeway announced. “I CHALLENGE YOU…..TO AN EPIC EDGING BATTLE!!!”
The Doctor gasped. “Did I hear what I thought I heard?” He smiled. “Ah, I remember the first edging battle on this ship.”
Kes rolled her eyes.
The Doctor continued, “It was when we first lost our aura-“
“GRRRRRR!!!!” Janeway screamed. “SILENCE!!!” Tuvix watched quietly as Janeway and Kes edged violently. Kes moaned….Janeway moaned….they both moaned…. The Doctor was still getting Tom Paris oiled up. Tuvix was still worried about his aura points.
“Gyatttttt.” Said Tom.
“Bruh,” said The Doctor.
“Shush.”
“Okay…..Alpha.” Tom moaned freakily.
Suddenly someone yelled, “SKIBIDI TOILET!!! ENSIGN KIM IS PREGNANT!!”
Chapter 5: THE EPIC EDGING BATTLE pt 2: Ensign Kim is pregnant
“But how?” The Doctor asked. “He can’t be pregnant, he’s a man.”
B’elanna explained, “So you know that Quinn guy? Well it turns he and Harry Kim secretly fell in love and so Quinn used his magic aura points to make him pregnant.”
Harry Kim was furious. “Doctor, B’elanna is lying. Chakotay is the father.”
The Doctor lowkey didn’t really care, because he was still in the middle of massaging Tom’s lizard toes.
“Bruh,” Tom said to Kim, “YOU MOG SOMEONE ELSE, HUH?! YOU STUPID BETA! THATS IT, WERE NOT RIZZING NO MORE!!!”
Kim looked at him awkwardly, “Erm, we were never dating, what the sigma are you talking about? Also, why is The Doctor getting you oiled up?”
Tom was cooked.
Meanwhile, Janeway and Kes were still doing their epic edging battle. Janeway was edging so fast barely anyone could identify her aura. Kes got blinded by the light of her mewing. “NOOOO!!!” Said Kes, “AHHHHHH!!!” Janeway’s streak of edging light was so powerful that it lowkey ate and left no crumbs. Kes died.
“NOOOOOOO!!!!” B’elanna cried, “MY UWU COTTAGE CORE DISCORD KITTEN!!!!”
Harry smirked. “Maybe you shouldn’t have lied to The Doctor about who the father to my child is!!!”
“The gacha heat is wild.” Tuvix exclaimed.
“SHUT UP, TUVIX!!!! NO ONE LIKES YOU!!!” B’elanna yelled angrily.
Tuvix lost so much aura that he never won a dress to impress game ever again.
Chapter 6: Tuvix gets unalived I think
“Golly gee,” Janeway announced. “Looks like I won the epic edging battle.”
Tuvix blushed. “Now we can get 𝓯𝓻𝓮𝓪𝓴𝔂.”
The Doctor sighed. “Well, sorry to burst yer bubble, but I have just found a way to bring Tuvok and Neelix back. And also to make you lizard folk human again.”
“GRRRRRRR!!!!” said Janeway.
Tuvix knew what he had to do because queen never cry. “WAIT! THEY DONT LOVE YOU LIKE I LOVE YOU!!!!!!”
The Doctor side eyed bro. “Chat, I barely know you.”
Tuvix was lowkey cooked. He looked at the dead body of Kes. “Erm, shouldn’t we have a funeral for bro or smth?”
B’elanna blushed kawaii just thinking about her. Tom Paris started hitting the griddy. Harry was in labor. The Doctor was rewriting his program subroutines to emit the perfect jawline.
Tuvix sighed. No one cares about me. “Do it,” he said sadly, “Kill me. I deserve it. I’m a mistake.” He said to The Doctor.
“Just put the fries in the bag bro.”
Bro did the transporter thing and now Tuvok and Neelix are mewing again. The Doctor also cured Janeway and Tom’s incurable beta disease somehow.
“Erm, hi Mr. Vulcan, I mean…alpha male…I’m your discord kitten, right?” Neelix said in his gacha life male anime protagonist ahh voice.
“No, wtf-“ Tuvok was cut off as he heard Harry moan violently.
“Oh my sigma!” B’elanna exclaimed. “It’s a lizard baby!!”
“That’s enough sick bay for today.” Tom said as he proceeded to leave.
“We can be a polycule right?” Janeway and Tuvok asked Neelix.
“Sure skibidi slicers.”
THE END😤😤😤
other epic sims voyager save moments that are too tiresome to post as screenshots:
- one of the triplets got a pop-up that they were making paper flowers at school for mother's day. i chose to keep flowers for myself. bc their mom is, like, dead. almost immediately i received this message: 'edward strutted off, flowers in hand - that was, until the wind plucked them free and stole them. the bright flowers drifted in the wind's current until they were little specks on the horizon, never to be seen again.' wtf imagine they make you partake in mother's day activities despite the fact your mom is dead and then this happens
- janeway death pipeline: chakotay went to selvadorada to do some archeology stuff, got fear of unfulfilled dreams, then got poisoned almost immediately, went home, janeway screamed at him and died out of anger while he was on a brink of death too. kids got to watch as well! in my head he got additionally traumatised bc technically this sequence of events started when he finally got to do something he loved
- janeway's ghost is often angry because 'this spirit was angry in life and is even angrier at death'
- after janeway died b'elanna invited chakotay for dinner to cheer him up (somehow this is an option) this was really sweet :( idk if it is a coincidence but sekaya also invited herself for a stay over after that
- all that time he had the wish to get married which automatically disappeared after janeway died. but do not worry he has it again as it was the first option that appeared for him when i tried a new bucket list feature for the first time. poor lad i don't know if his dreams will ever come true
- the only thing that chakotay has going for himself is that he works as a teacher. someone has to pay for janeway's huge ass house
- that one time when doctor tried to hit on janeway at the halloween party. awkward. (if you are interested she automatically went as a space captain. my creative queen)
- philippa lost her first tooth because she got in a fight with amelia <3
- yesterday i realised that i had a picture of janeway with harry facing her bed. okay girl
- i wanted for janeway to do farming but she sucks so bad her chickens are always hungry. i think she will get killed by them next time she comes to life
- the first time janeway and chakotay got together tuvok was the first one to congratulate her over the phone. despite the fact that every single time that he saw them talking to each other he would come to them and stand over there with 😐 face
- i want chakotay to get abducted by aliens and have an alien baby so bad you don't have any idea. but i am on the fence bc i do not like how it relates to the seska storyline in voyager and i don't know if i can deal with another kid in a household
- gretchen always has some sort of beef with edward every time she comes over. she straight up doesn't like him despite everything i do i even cheated their relationship up but they were gone in an instant. the implications of this are very funny to me
- i know that ages are off but i like how kids automatically befriended naomi at school and invite her after the school day ends to play :з
- still contemplating how to let janeway bone that furry without hurting chakotay's feelings bc they got together again. bc i thought it would be funny to do after doctor called janeway and told her that they would make quite a pair. and chakotay is working on trying to get her back to life that would look bad for her like imagine you max your skills to revive your girl and she bones a werewolf in the meantime
- tom calls triplets all the time and invites them to come over but i do not let them because i haven't built a proper house for him. loser
- i actually started this save as a resolutions situation with only janeway and chakotay then slowly created everyone else and built a 'voyager' lot where i played for some time. in the meantime those two got a kid (while living in that resolutions situation). i deleted him bc i wanted to play with threshold kiddos. they still have a picture of him in janeway's bedroom. i do not know how to approach this situation
One of the things I really appreciate in Picard S3 is how the season slowly gave back Voyager to Seven. I get why they didn't in season 1 of Picard and only mentioned Voyager and her Voyager family obliquely -- Seven barely knew the people in La Sirena, and there's no impetus for her to share. The subtlest of nods was a good way to kick it off.
Season 2 has willingly said Janeway's name to Raffi and the context of why she wasn't in Starfleet.
By season 3, Seven is surrounded by the spirit of her old family. The best visual indicator of it all was the silver Voyager Model Seven kept prominently on a shelf in the anteroom of her quarters.
Tumblr media
From BTS we also see Tuvok has the same one, and from this, we can infer all Voyager crew have their own models. (I would give them real money if they would sell that Voyager model too!).
It also means wherever Seven was all through the years with the Fenris Rangers Seven carried this tiny Voyager ship around.
In Prodigy Vice-Admiral Janeway has her own Voyager model, but of course, she's not going to be satisfied with a tiny model.
Tumblr media
Keeping Jellico in the photo for the Voyager scale.
And of course, the scene in the Fleet Museum:
Tumblr media
Featuring the Grand Old Lady herself, USS Voyager. (Hello, Voyager!)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Ends with a proper reunion with Tuvok, the only person other than Janeway who was there for Seven since the beginning:
Tumblr media
I missed seeing them together -- and look at both of them now, in Command Red.
Janeway was the only missing element with an unfortunate thing of production and time getting in the way of Kate Mulgrew being around, as I understand it, she splits her time living in Ireland and the US (I could be wrong!) -- it's also one of the reasons I dearly hope we get a new show with Seven as the main lead. Because I selfishly want Janeway to appear and possibly give Seven her Captain's pins.
I know Jonathan Frakes expressed his wish that Riker be the one to hand out assignments to Seven, and it would make sense if he becomes a newly minted Vice-Admiral. Since Janeway might be higher up in the Command chain at this point.
But I still want Janeway to be the one handing out crucial assignments to Seven and the Ent-G.
So, yeah I hope we get that show but also I'm really glad this season finally brought Voyager back to Seven. It was her home.
STAR TREK UPDATE TIME! last night we watched voy's "vis a vis" and ds9's "in the pale moonlight."
vis a vis (voy):
i really liked when tom paris didn't fuck b'elanna, but my goodwill is wearign thin. in a way he and b'elanna make a good couple bc theyre always both kind of shitty to everyone when they're struggling emotionally, i guess. sigh
like, aside from tom paris's emotional arc not being...clearly outlined at all in this episode, which made it confusing boring and difficult to care about, this episode ALSO makes b'elanna look bad. she's always yelling at him for """no reason""" and then she falls for a fake apology from a fake tom, and even kisses the fake tom, which is a kiss without consent on her part since she doesn't realize this guy isn't her boyfriend but a total stranger
in fact, most people seem incredibly stupid in this episode not to realize tom is faking it...seven even caught him red-handed trying to download tom's information and nobody put it together, not even tuvok
three points of merit for an otherwise boring dredge of an episode: 1. evil janeway hot 2. i figured out from looking that b'elanna's actress is really for real pregnant in this episode which explains last episode a bit 3. that one scene where the fake tom paris said to the emh that he just wasnt coming in because he felt his skills could never compare to the emh's skills which then prompted the emh to wax poetic about how great he was without realizing this was the most un-tom paris thing anyone had ever done. that was genuinely so funny and IC for the emh i was cracking up the entire time. would that the rest of the episode was that good
in the pale moonlight (ds9):
HOLY SHIT!!!!
SO I LIED
I CHEATED
I BRIBED MEN TO COVER THE CRIMES OF OTHER MEN
AND THE MOST DAMNING THING OF ALL
I THINK I CAN LIVE WITH IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
LIKE..........................
like i've seen the speech memed so many times i could quote it cold without ever having seen the ep and i more or less knew what was gonna happen but god DAMN the mark of a truly great episode is that none of that mattered...it still blew my fucking mind
obviously garak is incredible in this episode. his willingness to get his hands dirty and do what needs to be done for the greater good, the loss of his old favors and old friends that he takes with total equanimity
but the real star of this show is my best friend benjamin sisko. speech or not i had no idea he was gonna LOOK AT THE CAMERA. i felt like i couldn't blink when he did that shit. he's not supposed to look at me!!! he's making me complicit!!!
HIS DESPAIR AT THE WEEKLY CASUALITY LIST. THE PACING IN HIS QUARTERS AS HE DELIVERS THE PERSONAL LOG. HITTING GARAK (TWICE!). THE MONLOGUE AND THE TOAST AT THE END. GOD!!!!!!!!! he is so FUCKING talented he should have been a movie star. he should have been more famous than. think of the most famous person you know and triple it. he is SO fucking talented it's insane
and i mean in the end. romulus enters the war. damn. just like they wanted. and everyone will think it's because the dominion was gonna betray them and sisko and garak will take the truth to their fucking graves. jesus.
TONIGHT: voy's "the omega particle" (nobody fucking say it) and ds9's "his way," the summary of which looks...sketchy. potentially bad, even. fingers crossed i guess
