[Image description: five people on a meeting table, two of them using computers.]
Marketing agencies and corporate marketing departments in Brazil are turning to marketing technology providers in increasing numbers to help them better engage with customers and increase sales, according to a new report published today by Information Services Group (ISG) (Nasdaq: III), a leading global technology research and advisory firm.
The 2021 ISG Provider Lens™ MarTech Solutions and Service Providers Report for Brazil finds corporate marketing and communications agencies gradually moving to digital services over the last three years. Many agencies in the country are adopting artificial intelligence, machine learning and analytics tools to assist in their jobs and improve the quality and effectiveness of marketing content and engagement.
“Communications with both potential and existing customers is based on a dialogue that needs to be more agile and digital,” said Jan Erik Aase, partner and global leader, ISG Provider Lens Research. “Many customers are demanding a seamless experience throughout their buying journeys, including past interactions, in the buying channel of their choice.”
The report notes that budgets previously controlled by CIOs are now the responsibility of CMOs, who are using these resources to fund specialized squads that use sprint methodologies to produce minimum viable products. Enterprises are also increasing their digital marketing budgets in response to changing buying behavior caused by the pandemic.

European Insurers Turn to Partners as Challenges Mount
European Insurers Turn to Partners as Challenges Mount. Crisis conditions since 2020 have increased demand for services to modernize technology, products and business models, ISG Provider Lens™ report says. LONDON, January 16, 2023 - Insurance companies in Europe are navigating increasingly difficult business conditions with the help of service providers that understand the industry’s many challenges and partner closely with insurers, according to a new research report published today by Information Services Group (ISG) (Nasdaq: III), a leading global technology research and advisory firm. The 2022 ISG Provider Lens™ Insurance Services report for Europe finds that rising claims in the early part of the COVID-19 pandemic were followed by a series of other impacts on the insurance industry, including inflation, geopolitical uncertainties, cyberattacks and property damage from climate-related disasters. Insurers in Europe and other regions now face a state of “permacrisis,” the report says. “European insurers are facing challenging market conditions,” said Anna Medkouri, ISG partner and insurance lead in EMEA. “In addition to contending with a difficult business environment, they need better technology to adapt to new ways of working, new regulations and new consumer expectations.” Among new, digital-native customers, preferences are shifting from commodity off-the-shelf insurance products to more personalized offerings, ISG says. Companies are working with providers to implement platforms for developing targeted products using AI and machine learning. This ongoing process requires insurers to reinvent processes, business models and even company culture, so they are seeking providers with expertise in consulting and transformation in addition to traditional BPO. Among new, digital-native customers, preferences are shifting from commodity off-the-shelf insurance products to more personalized offerings, ISG says. This ongoing process requires insurers to reinvent processes, business models and even company culture, so they are seeking providers with expertise in consulting and transformation in addition to traditional BPO. “To build new products and business models, traditional insurance companies need responsive design, swift deployment and rapid scalability,” said Jan Erik Aase, partner and global leader, ISG Provider Lens Research. “Service providers have the knowledge and workforces to deliver those capabilities.” The report also examines other trends affecting insurance services in Europe, including the integration of innovative startups and the gradual adoption of value-based provider contracts. The 2022 ISG Provider Lens™ Insurance Services report for Europe evaluates the capabilities of 33 providers across three quadrants: Life and Retirement Insurance BPO Services, Property and Casualty Insurance BPO Services and Insurance ITO Services. The report names Accenture, Cognizant and TCS as Leaders in all three quadrants. It names Genpact, Infosys and WNS as Leaders in two quadrants each. Atos, Capgemini, CGI, EXL, NTT DATA, Tech Mahindra and Wipro are named as Leaders in one quadrant each. Enterprises in Brazil Seek Help with Pandemic Cybersecurity and Regulatory Compliance
ISG Provider Lens™ report finds many companies in Brazil turning to cybersecurity providers to deal with recent challenges, including a new data protection law
[Image description: ISG Provider Lens logo.]
Enterprises in Brazil are investing heavily in cybersecurity products and services to protect corporate systems at higher risk during the pandemic and to comply with new data protection regulations, according to a new report published today by Information Services Group (ISG) (Nasdaq: III), a leading global technology research and advisory firm.
The 2021 ISG Provider Lens™ Cybersecurity – Solutions & Services Report for Brazil sees double-digit growth in sales in the past year for cybersecurity vendors serving enterprises in the country. Companies in Brazil are seeking greater protections as employees work from home and the companies look to comply with Brazil’s general data protection law, the Lei Geral de Proteção de Dados (LGPD), which went into effect in September 2020.
Enterprises in Brazil have turned to cybersecurity providers to deal with these twin challenges, said Jan Erik Aase, partner and global leader, ISG Provider Lens Research. "To maintain operations during the pandemic, security teams have had to provide fast, reliable and secure connections for workers," he said. "At the same time, the LGPD puts pressure on businesses to accelerate their data protection efforts."

Atos recognized as global leader in application transformation services (ADM) by ISG
SINGAPORE, June 2, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Atos, a global leader in digital transformation, today announced it has been recognized by Information Services Group (ISG), a leading global technology research and advisory firm, as among the leading providers of ADM (application development and management) services worldwide.
According to an ISG Insights Index (i3) report on ADM services, Atos was named a leader in the five "next-generation" buyer categories, or "archetypes," by which ISG evaluates ADM service providers, the only service provider to receive such a distinction.
The ISG i3 report assesses the relative capabilities of 31 global ADM service providers based on the needs of enterprise clients as defined by six buyer archetypes: Traditional, Managed Services, Transformation-Oriented, "Glocal" (Global+Local) Talent, Leveraging Platforms / Accelerators and Enabling Digital*.
The report underlines Atos' expertise in supporting businesses in their digital transformation journeys, guaranteeing the integration of legacy applications and operational excellence throughout.
"Today's ADM buyers, rather than being IT-centric, represent a more diverse set of functions within an organization. Each of them has unique challenges and requirements that differ from the traditional ADM service requirements of the past," said Jan Erik Aase, director and principal analyst with ISG Research. "Our i3 research considers these various buyer types when evaluating how each service provider meets their specialized needs. Atos scored very highly in all the dimensions that represent next-generation buyers looking to take their sourcing strategy and performance to the next level."
"Being positioned by ISG Research as a Leader in all of the next-generation 'archetypes' worldwide validates our position as the preferred partner for business transformation and innovation," says Ursula Morgenstern, Executive Vice President for Global Business & Platform Solutions at Atos. "We work intensively with our clients to help them accelerate their digital transformation. More and more businesses embrace digital business models and we support them, bringing our expertise and solid global experience, reinforced by our continued investment in R&D."
The report states that Atos is a key partner for mastering large digital transformation deals for businesses that require faster delivery and scale. It highlights that its global scale - 60 delivery centers worldwide and 30,000 FTEs - complemented by a highly-experienced resource pool, and dedication to emerging technologies, such as Atos Codex for Data Analytics and Atos Canopy Orchestrated Hybrid Cloud, make it an experienced ideal player for running large digital transformation projects that require multi-regional presence.
