Chris: You know what?
Chris: When I join this friend group I thought you guys would be dealing with my bullshit.
*Street, luca and tan continue screaming about mold water*
Chris: Not the other way around.
Street: I dunno, sounds like you need to drink the mold water.

“Vojago” & “The Last Manicorn”
Tumblr media Tumblr media
A long, long time ago, the Jenny Everywhere Day team had the pleasure of runnin E. G. Bivins's mysterious illustration of a rather tough-looking Jenny wearing a Viking helmet, scarf and jacket blowing in the wind, astride a bulky, futuristic vehicle.
A slightly shorter time ago, we also shared the announcement of the Kickstarter for Issue #12 of the small-run anthology comic Earth, which was to feature a new Jenny Everywhere comic by Jim Street: The Last Manicorn.
Unless they were lucky enough to grab iEarth , our readers might never have known that these were two glimpses of the same Jenny's life, representing two linked stories: Vojago and the aforementioned Manicorn. But now, with Earth long-since defunct, and so too Vojago's short-lived web upload on Tapastic in 2016, the time has come for both of these lost chapters to be rehosted on JED, with the kind permission of Jim Street — and never-before-revealed details on the unfinished storylines which the two stories served to introduce!
Read under the cut to discover once and for all the answers to such questions as: can robots become zombies? What's a Manicorn, anyway? And just who, or what, is 'Mother'?

2 - What Could Have Been?
According to Jim Street, who was kind enough to chat with us in 2023:
You are correct, the story has yet to be complete (and will likely stay that way). But I'm happy to share the comic you mentioned and the slight continuation of it in a related comic. They both got published in a very small print-run anthology via Kickstarter. The artist on "Vojago" no longer wished to be associated with the project so their credit is listed as [redacted] with their permission. (…) Those comic stories did not start as overlapping projects, but they took a really long time, so I changed them all to fit into one anthology. (…) In my "Earth" series there was a computer that gained sentience and wanted to acquire as much information as it could. So it created an avatar (Jenny) that would explore the Earth to gather data and experiences. The computer would guide Jenny to desired data by releasing information about the whereabouts of her "mother." When one avatar expired, the memories would be loaded to the computer's databanks. Earth #13 was to have Jenny and Mani (the Last Manicorn) conscripted to join Space Patrol and leave earth, which would trigger the creation of another Jenny. When the new Jenny begins operating, the computer realizes that there is a gap in the archive caused by Jenny leaving Earth. So the new Jenny is commanded to go and collect the missing archive, which culminates in a Jenny vs Jenny showdown in space. Through this the computer learns about how vast the universe really is and modifies the operational parameters to permit multiple Jennys operating at the same time. And that's basically what I had drafted for Jenny in my comic series. But who knows, maybe I'll get around to make the comic of that one day….
Well, we can only hope!

if you never bleed, you're never gonna grow (but it's all right now)
Chapter 1: said "i'm fine" (but it wasn't true)
A series of platonic and romantic Stris one-shots detailing the moments after the heaviness. The conversations in the dawn, the tears wiped away over midnight picnics, and how Chris and Street grow through their lives. Tags updated with each new chapter/chapters note the episode they're inspired by.

HELLO :)
i just finished the sixth season of SWAT and let me say, this series is amazing i loved every single moment of this season. it never disappoints, nothing is too much, not a single thing ruined, i’m really happy atm.
possible spoilers of SWAT:
so let’s start saying there was a little lack in the plot. Chris not being there was sad, but i think Powell was a very interesting personage, and i’d love to know more about her. i hope the next season shows us her reconnection with her child, because she deserves to be happy; another thing i’d like to see is Tan with a girl that finally loves his, not that cheating girl that doesn’t deserves a thing. Street’s relationship with Chris is strange to immagine because there isn’t any scene of them together, so it was a little bit strange, and hearing they’re going to move in together… i don’t know man, i’m not sure what it’s going to happen. i also would like to see more scene of Commander Hicks with Maggie, i want them to be a real couple because with all the thing they’ve been through, they deserve to be happy. i didn’t get why at some point they stopped to show us the relationship between Luca and her sister Eva, i get that they didn’t have the best relationship, but why putting her personage away? i’m so happy Hondo and Nichelle finally had their baby, and are going to be married, i like them so much. Deacon’s personage it’s pretty much basic, it’s always the same every season, the best father you could ask for, the best husband, a great officer… boring after some time i guess, but i still like him after all. one thing i didn’t get is this switch between Powell and Cabrera, at some point i was lost, i didn’t understand who was who, what they were doing, which was the role for the two of them… completely lost :’).
in conclusion, this series is wonderful, i really like it, and this season was amazing. i know i’m gonna miss them all when it’s going to be over, but i’m glad i followed this series from the very beginning
see ya next time, -Jus

Bisque-it, 54 James Street. Lomo LC-A+
It is becoming obvious to anyone who looks at this blog in any detail that I seem to like frequenting coffee shops and cafes. One recent discovery was Bisque-it.
Although they do serve some really tasty plant based foods and great coffee their website states "pottery painting is our core function allowing you to experience the benefits of taking time to create something unique & individual to you."
The space is glass fronted so even in the dullest of weather the cafe is bathed in bright natural light.

✨️✨️✨️✨️ please. I love it so much.
✨️- “Deac, what’s up with you?” Hondo asks, one morning, leaning against his locker. He’s trying to be subtle, but subtle has never been one of Hondo’s specialties. Deacon has to hand it to him though. Hondo and the rest of the team lasted a lot longer than he thought they would originally. He supposes that’s a downside to the whole found family, you love the way you work thing that they have going on here at 20-squad. They’re all up in each other’s business. Something can’t happen without the others knowing about it, and to be honest, Deacon’s impressed that he’s managed to keep it in this long. The team, they’re everything to him, them, Annie, and now Evan. They tell each other everything. Deacon’s never been able to keep things from them, they know him just as well as Annie knows him if not more.
“Yeah, what’s up? You’re not leaving, or something, are you?” Street teases but Deacon’s heart cracks at the small hint of abandonment he hears in the kid’s voice, the same type he sees written all over Evan’s face. He hates how he notices it now; he hates how sensitive he is to it, and he hates that Street has it.
