up next on my revamped designs (wohooo) a much needed James. All Jameses are much needed imo, tho.

There's 2 of them becauseeee for my loose 'human au' kinda thing i have going on. I was like oh. i draw some of them in fancy uniforms, and some of them in, like, work clothes. How does that make it a uniform, though?

so the explanation is every worker on Sodor's railways actually has 2 uniforms. Fancy and work-suited. It's expected they work in their work clothes and show up to fancy things in their formalwear, but. Well. Some prefer their formalwear (james, gordon, edward), others prefer their work clothes (percy, duck, henry, others i cant think of rn), and some kinda. slap em together (thanks, thomas).

So James hardly Ever shows up in his work clothes! it's only for jobs he's convinced in advance is going to be really gross. he does, admittedly, look good in a turtleneck.
