So first, whenever a complication comes up during briefings, their eyes always meet first, then the two of them look at Mike at the same time. (Who always notices the little eye contact and he’s also shipping them)

Whenever Adriana has a bit of free time (and for this she makes some if she hasn’t) she manages to annoy him with a playful trick. Like hiding his socks in her own laundry (so he has to search it in her stinky one.)

Before Adriana would go undercover alone, Jai always put an arm on her shoulder as he winks at her as a sign of “Take care of yourself”.

Adriana always takes a bite from Jai’s food, because “my boyfriend’s food looks better than mine” (it’s an existing rule) even though they have the same ration.

They have their first time in EVERYTHING because they did everything together since they were little children, and they can’t imagine trying sushi alone or with anyone else (lol)

therefore there are about 19 confirmed living Spartans, 24 confirmed dead, 7 possible dead, and 12 unknowns, for a total of 62 (or 65 counting the silvers), so there are at least 10-13 other Spartans we have not met, be they active, retired, washout, dead, or missing

it  was  ...complicated.

  silas  had  a  small  box  in  his  pocket.  it  was  shiny,  it  was  dark  &  it  held  a  former  pair  of  rings.  he'd  been  wearing  his  since  earlier  that  day,  but  didn't  really  bring  it  up  yet.  he  bought  them  about  a  week  ago,  thinking  that  maybe  they  could  offer  the  solution  to  a  problem  they'd  been  chatting  about  for  a  while  now,  but  then...  well,  jay  didn't  spend  the  night  at  the  kratos  cabin  &  when  silas  woke  ...  gabriel  was  missing.

  &  from  then  on  it  all  went  downhill.  they  argued,  they  fought,  they  mourned  &  then  they  got  answers.  at  least  some. 

  &  then  silas  poured  his  heart  out  in  front  of  everybody.  surely,  not  an  ideal  thing  to  do,  but  it  was  ..what  it  was.  he  partially  blamed  xanthe  for  that  truth-magic,  but  nevertheless  ..he  felt  everything  he'd  said.  he  was  just  glad  those  closest  to  him  didn't  risk  their  lives  -  or  rather,  those  who  did  ..made  it  out  alive.

  he  was  also  glad  jay  didn't  try  it.  he  wasn't  sure  what  he'd  do  if  something  happened  to  him.  he  couldn't  bear  the  thought.  he  couldn't.  fuck,  when  had  this  happened? 

  stop.

  not  now.

  it  didn't  matter  now.  gabriel  was  gone.  they  couldn't  get  him  back.

  they..  had  to  move  on.

  &  so...  silas  asked  jay  to  meet  him  at  his  cabin  that  night.  they'd  spent  the  night  before  at  the  athena  cabin,  so...  yeah.  bad  timing  either  way.  wounds  still  fresh,  but  silas  felt  that...  well,  that  this  was  maybe  the  perfect  time.

  he  was  nervous  when  he  opened  the  door  for  him,  he  was  nervous  when  he  invited  him  in  &  he  was  nervous  when  he  greeted  the  other  with  a  little  kiss.  the  box  hidden  away  in  his  pocket  as  he  led  the  other  inside.  when  it  was  dark  out,  the  cabin  looked  even  cozier  -  the  dim  light  of  the  lamps  &  candles  adding  to  comfort  surely.

  silas  had  cooked,  had  even  made  dessert  &  all,  he  didn't  even  know  why.  he  didn't  fucking  plan  engagement.  but  he  wanted  this  to  matter.  if  time  spent  between  them  wasn't  precious...  then  why  did  they  bother?  he  didn't  want  to  be  like  that.

  &  it  went  well,  he  thought.  dinner  was  had,  the  mood  was  ...tense...  if..  better  now  that  they  were  together.  at  least  he  felt  calmer  now.  though  his  heart  was  pounding  regardless.  he'd  worn  another  man's  ring  once  before.  it  didn't  ...end  well.  this  was  different  &  he  knew  that,  but  he  worried  what  it'd  look  like.

  "uh,  so  uh...  this...  is  not  what  it  looks  like."  silas  pulled  the  box  from  his  pocket  &  set  it  on  the  table.  fingers  brushed  over  its  smooth  surface  while  his  brain  worked  overtime,  but  eventually  he  glanced  up  again,  "there's  this  uhh...  idea  i  had.  y'know  how  you  said  like..  you  uh...  were  angry  you  couldn't  help  me  during  fights?  these  uh...  they  let  us  share  the  pain.  so  ummm...  if  i  ever  need  a  breather...  that...  would  let  you  do  it."  he  held  up  his  hand  with  its  matching  opposite,  fingers  wiggling  a  little.  "i  know  that  might  uh...  send  a  wrong  message,  but  ...  i  dunno...  i  guess  i  thought  we  could  uh...  make..make  it  work." he said that last part with the softest of smiles on his lips, his face, his ...features.
