Note
Rename the Duggar kids but keep the J names.
I don’t think there’s anything wrong with some of the names, it’s just the order they used them.
James Isaac (Josh) - I think this one is fine
Jennifer Annette (Jana)
Jonathan Robert (John-David)
Judy Michelle (Jill)
Jessica Hope (Jessa)
Jacqueline Marie (Jinger)
Jeremy Charles (Joseph)
Jacob Garrett (Josiah)
 Johannah Lillian (Joy Anna)
Joel Andrew (Jedidiah)
Jason Matthew (Jeremiah)
Joseph Reuben (Jason)
Jackson Elijah (James)
Jared Luke (Justin)
Justin Peter (Jackson)
Jillian Kathleen (Johannah)
Jade Pearl (Jennifer)
Joyce Victoria (Jordyn)
Julia Faith (Josie)
That was harder than i thought because there’s only so many ‘J’ names to choose from but I still have no clue how they came up with Jinger before Jennifer.

Renaming the Duggars
Tumblr media
While we are transitioning from the major Name Analysis series into the popular names series, I thought it would be fun to do a mini-series renaming the Duggars and Bateses! This will be a simple post, I will write their name, what I would change it to and the reason why! Let’s jump right in!
Joshua James: Joshua Robert - I think Joshua was a great choice for the first J name, but the letter repetition of Joshua James was a bit much. I think Joshua Robert honors Jim Bob just as much, while adding a nicer sound to the name.
Jana Marie: Jenna Marie - Although Jana is a pretty name, it is quite similar to Joy Anna and Johannah, and the closest the Duggar’s come to Jenna is Jennifer and I am going to change Jennifer to a simpler name later on
John David: John David - I actually really like this name and think it is unique enough among the others that John David can stay.
Jill Michelle: Jillian Laurel - Jill is a nice name but feels incomplete, but the change to Jillian fixes the problem. Michelle doesn’t sound as nice with Jillian as it did with Jill, but Laurel goes just beautifully.
Jessa Lauren: Jessica Michelle - Jessa is an odd name choice and Jessica still gets to the nickname of Jess. Additionally Michelle flows nicely and has to be used somewhere since I took it from Jill
Jinger Nicole: Juliet Nicole - The Duggar’s oddly never used any variation of Julie and I think Juliet is a stunning replacement for the strange choice of Jinger.
Joseph Garrett: Joseph Garrett - This is my favorite of the Duggar Jos- names and I think it flows well.
Josiah Matthew: Jonah Matthew - I was shocked the Duggar’s never used Jonah, and I think it would separate Josiah from Joseph by giving them totally separate names
Joy Anna: Joy Annette - Joy is a beautiful name, but Joy Anna sounds extremely close to Johannah. By changing her middle name to Annette this name not only honors Michelle, but separates Joy from Johannah
Jedidiah Robert: Jeffrey Lee - Jim Bob’s dad’s name was Jimmy Lee and I think using Lee is a great way to honor him. Additionally Jeffery is a much more normal name than Jedidiah and still goes with his twin’s name.
Jeremiah Robert: Jeremy Floyd - Simplifying Jeremiah into Jeremy makes it go much better with Jeffrey and Floyd is Michelle’s father’s middle name which makes the twins have their grandfather’s middle names separating them while keeping them tied together
Jason Michael: Jason Michael - This name is fine, I have no issues with it
James Andrew:  Jared Andrew - Although it was sweet to use Jim Bob’s first name, I think Jared sounds better and opens up the chance to name a girl Jaime which is a way to use James without over using it
Justin Samuel: Justin Samuel - This name is fine, I have no issues with the remaining lost boys either
Jackson Levi:  Jackson Levi - This name is fine, I have no issues with the remaining lost boys either
Johannah Faith: Johannah Faith - My favorite of the -Anna names and I think it is quite pretty.
Jennifer Danielle: June Danielle - I think June is an adorable name and separates her from the use of Jenna
Jordyn-Grace Makiya: Jordyn Grace - I think this is a pretty name but the addition of Makiya is odd and unnecessary
Josie Brooklyn: Jaime Brooklyn - An adorable name that blends well with Brooklyn, I think it helps to separate Josie from Joseph and Josiah
Final Names: Josh, Jenna, John, Jillian, Jessica, Juliet, Joseph, Jonah, Joy, Jeffrey, Jeremy, Jason, Jared, Justin, Jackson, Johannah, June, Jordyn, and Jaime
I had a ton of fun making this and hope you all enjoyed!!

There is one spectacularly funny moment in this musical comedy version of “Macbeth,” which is based on Billy Morrissette’s 2001 movie, and is set in a fast-food restaurant in the “podunk town” of Scotland, Pennsylvania in 1975. Mac and Pat, a married couple who have worked for ten years in Duncan’s eatery, attempt to rob their boss, and inadvertently murder him: They hit him with a frying pan, and he falls head-first into the chicken fryer, fried alive. None of that is funny. But in the next scene in the restaurant, with Mac now in charge, all the fast-food workers are dressed in construction jumpsuits and the establishment is covered with canvas. Suddenly, all the workers strip off their outfit, and simultaneously all the canvas falls off, and we see red and gold costumes, red and gold décor, a huge yellow M sign, and the new name of the restaurant: McBeth’s. The transformation from Duncan’s to McBeth’s is a coup, so to speak – but the coup belongs to set designer Anna Louizos. Despite a cast and creative team full of New York Theater pros, everything else about “Scotland, PA”, is, at best, just ok. The transposition of Shakespeare’s tragedy into a skit-like comedy is done competently. The three witches are now co-ed stoners named Hector, Stacy and Jessie.  The character Banquo, who is Macbeth’s co-general, is here the long-haired and extremely dim-witted Banko (a nearly unrecognizable Jay Armstrong Johnson) Mac’s friend and co-worker. Duncan’s son Malcolm is now a sullen, gay blond football player (Will Meyers making an impressive New York stage debut.) Macduff, the noble loyal to Duncan who kills Macbeth in the Bard’s play, is here homicide detective Peg McDuff (Megan Lawrence) Rather than Lady Macbeth needing to wash her hands of guilt and imagined blood, Pat (Taylor Iman Jones) imagines a burn from the fryer, tries to ice it, and ultimately takes a more drastic solution.
The score by Adam Gwon (Ordinary Days) is full of adequate 1970s-like rock music, which occasionally allows the terrific singers in the cast to show what they can do.  Gwon lyrics that are deliberately downscale.. The prologue features the three stoners taking turns singing:
You know how this story goes You’ve heard ‘Fair is Foul’ That whole Shakespeare thing
There’s blood and some people die but we’ve changed some shit, just like on a whim.
The book by Michael Mitnick is full of jokes so dopey that they may actually make some people laugh.
I have little doubt that some people will get a kick out of this fast-food version of Shakespeare’s tragedy.  But it’s not to my taste – and it’s not at all nourishing.
Scotland, PA Roundabout’s Laura Pels Theatre in the Harold and Miriam Steinberg Center for Theatre Book by Michael Mitnick, music & lyrics by Adam Gwon Directed by Lonny Price, choreographed by Josh Rhodes Scenic Design by Anna Louizos, costume design by Tracy Christensen, lighting design by Jeanette Yew, sound design by Jon Weston, Hair, Wig & Make-up Design by J. Jared Janas, orchestrations by Frank Galgano & Matt Castle, fight director Thomas Schall, Music Director Vadim Feichtner Cast: Jeb Brown as “Duncan,” Jay Armstrong Johnson as “Banko,” Taylor Iman Jones as “Pat,” Lacretta as “Mrs. Lenox,” Megan Lawrence as “McDuff,” Ryan McCartan as “Mac,” Will Meyers as “Malcolm,”Wonu Ogunfowora as “Stacey,” David Rossmer as “Doug,” Alysha Umphress as “Jessie” and Kaleb Wells as “Hector.” Running time:Two hours and thirty minutes including one intermission Tickets: $79-99. “Scotland, PA” is on stage through December 8, 2019
Scotland, PA Review: Macbeth as a 1970s fast food musical comedy There is one spectacularly funny moment in this musical comedy version of “Macbeth,” which is based on Billy Morrissette’s 2001 movie, and is set in a fast-food restaurant in the “podunk town” of Scotland, Pennsylvania in 1975.
