*Chloe's sexuality is a little more ambiguous. I've decided to go with the Lesbian pride icon here because Before the Storm appears to point more in that direction with her sexuality, but I will also be making umbrella & multi-gender attraction pride icons for her as well.

Also, while Cassidy and Ryan have been included in Pride posts from the official Life is Strange social media pages, there is no indication in the games themselves that they identify as anything other than cishet, and their sexual orientations have been left unconfirmed, so they have both been omitted from this set.

actually, I'm more or less neutral about her, no strong feelings for sure. however, when I first played the game I had some thoughts regarding the fact how she made steph's desire to stay in haven entirely about herself.

but hey, no.

i really don't think that anymore. she had her reasons, i just had time to think about for more than a minute.

and well, I don't think that game really wants us to think about izzie that much, which is understandable, however, i was really intrigued by Steph's Story to see izzie more in-depth and look at their relationship with steph to see the dynamic they had previously. and thanks to Steph's Story, because now I perceive their break up scene entirely different.

but, to be honest, i'm mostly neutral about her only because now I know more why she acted the certain way from time to time. the book definitely gave the readers a good perspective on her character, given what they had to work with. however, there were many times where she said something and i was just "why are you like this". but it's entirely because i'm steph's stan and the story is told from her perspective. plus personally it was easier for me to relate to steph than to izzie, so i had myself sympathizing with her more.

back to the point.

izzie is really complex, which i obviously like, and i like how the book helps to understand that izzie WANTED to understand steph, WANTED to help, WANTED to be with her, but steph never really give her a chance to do any of that. and book definitely made their break up scene even worse with how both of them had this moment at the concert, thinking that they still had a chance for a moment before everything went crushing down.

so yeah. i'm not really a fan of izzie's, but she's a really interesting adjustment to steph's lore and a unique character overall. bless all her fans with how little content they have to entertain themselves with.

Since my last Life is Strange post got a nice response, I figured I'd share the character/shipping chart I made! This was originally made for my girlfriend, @c-c-top, since she barely knew anything about the games before we met, and I wanted to infodump at her. My Roman empire is the fact that in 'Life is Strange: Steph's Story' Steph mentions that her and Izzie play covers of Paramore songs. Paramore is my favorite band, life is strange is my favorite game and Steph is my favorite character. I won't recover. I fear I think about this daily.

While looking for love, local Eldritch abomination Gerti ends up renting a room for a very stressed single mother named Jordyn. (Gerti pays for everything by vomiting up pearls)

One of Jordyn's daughters is a VERY anxious teenager named Izzy who loves supernatural TV shows and conspiracy theories.

Obviously she sees Gerti doing something weird and becomes convinced that she is an alien invader. (And obviously the second she gets her camera out Gerti is no longer acting suspicious.)

Hijinx ensue.
