Jerk Ford AU: Clickbait Title
Jerk Ford and Anti-Ford became friends allies relatively early in Jerk Ford's adventure into the Multiverse, maybe year five of so out of thirty, so it's been long enough for all of the portaled versions of Stanford Pines to establish the known multiverse of their alternates (The "Fordverse"), and for Jerk Ford to have his reputation as the biggest jerk version of Ford Pines. And the formation of his Hate Club who want to capture and/or kill him, to keep him from sullying their shared name free the multiverse of his reign of jerkiness.
Just as there is allegedly only one confirmation of another Ford almost killing Jerk Ford, there is also only one confirmed capture of Jerk Ford, and it was by his now-ally The Anti-Ford.
How did Anti-Ford manage to catch Jerk Ford when the rest of the Fordverse couldn't? It was some Looney Toons bullsh*t he pulled, that's how.
The thing is, the Fordverse looked at all of Jerk Fords unusual traits and decided he was as completely unlike a Ford as one could be without being an Anti- version, so they didn't view or treat him like one of them.
But Anti-Ford did not have that problem, he's just like "A Stanford Pines? I know exactly how to trap a Stanford Pines."
He leaves a paper that has "Y = MX - B" written on it, and puts it under a net trap or something.
Jerk Ford walks by it and he's like "Right, like I'm gonna fall for that." And walks away at first.
Before running back to correct the equation, and now he's been caught.
According to The Artist, he had something like this set up;

"Check it out chat, I caught the elusive Jerk Ford! The 'worst Ford' besides me!"
"I WILL F###ING END YOU YOU TECHNICOLOUR NIGHTMARE PIECE OF S###!"
"Hey, ease up on the swearing I have to bleep that out in post."
[A whole censor bar of Bleeep]
"F### YOU ANTI-FORD GO F### YOURSELF!"
"Alright chat, I'mma have to censor this out because he. Wont. Stop. Swearing. And we all know Youtube don't like that. For those of you on Twitch tho [you should follow me there] you can hear Jerk Ford swear uncut!"
"Let's cut to the interview; Ford-PJC311—urgh, that's too long, can I just call you PJ for short instead?"
"IF WE DID NOT HAVE THE SAME PARENTS YOU DON'T EVEN WANT TO KNOW WHAT I'D DO!"
"Okay, PJ, first question; how have you been evading capture so far?"
"THE SAME WAY YOU'VE BEEN AVOIDING TOUCHING GRASS YOU-"
[A bunch of live comments all at once]
"-Oh, no. C'mon, we gotta get out of here."
[Picks Jerk Ford up like a sack of rice]
"What?!"
"I just got a bunch of comments from The Hate Club that they're on their way here."
Like any content creator chasing clout, he bit off more than he can chew. A classic blunder.
Anti-Ford didn't actually want to turn him in. It got way too real for him too fast so he just panicked and took him back to the Anti-Dimension.
And now The Ford Hate Club includes him as a Ford they hate because he actually managed to catch Jerk Ford when none of them could, but didn't turn him in.
And Anti-Ford and Jerk Ford have been friends allies ever since.
#Jerk Ford Au#Jerk Ford#Anti-Ford#The Anti Ford#It's Y=MX+B by the way#Jerk Ford is still Stanford Pines#And the Fordverse failed to ever capture and/or kill him because they kept forgetting that#They saw him as one of their anamolies#They're like “Stanford Pines a JERK?! It can't be!” something something self awareness#And the same thing with The Anti-Ford#The Ford Hate Club wants those two gone because if Fords like that exist what does that say about the rest of the Fordverse?#Stanford Pines#Ford Pines#Grunkle Ford#gravity falls#gravity falls au

the men are talking
cw/tags: stsg x reader, fem!reader, edging ?, vaginal fingering, whispers of pussy eating, whispers of overstim
wc: 1035
mx + b = y
That was the equation right? Right?
“So we’re going through all the formalities: when, where, the purpose and so on—”
“Sugu—”
“Quiet, baby, the men are talking,” Geto coos, gently letting up ever so slightly before resuming his pace. “And honestly, the venue is really nice. You remember Harajuku?”
Gojo hums in response, shifting a bit so that your head can lay a bit more comfortably in his lap, his legs crossed under you. Maybe it’s an accident, maybe it’s another level of sadism that he wants to layer on the situation, you couldn’t tell — all you know is that you can feel his growing heat press against your left cheek.
If mx + b = y, then maybe if I solve… if i solve for x then—
Your breath hitches when you feel soft, lazy circles on your clit, the sensation leaving you just as quickly. You whine as you grip the sheets beneath you even tighter, turning your head into Gojo’s now full erection to your left. Everything feels so hot, the sheen of sweat covering you feeling more and more sticky as the torture continues.
“Ssshhh,” Geto warns, continuing his previous conversation, “and you know it’s always seedy when they don’t tell you upfront about the sponsors.”
“Right,” Gojo affirms, leaning down to caress your sides, not bothering, no, refusing to look at you as you drool on his dick through his slacks. His touch feels electric, seemingly bored but barely holding on with his occasional squeezes along your curves. You swear you’re going to stop breathing when you feel his thumbs lightly brush over your nipples for a fraction of a second.
“They start with the unnec—” Geto pauseses, sighing with feigned exasperation, “hold on.”
“M’sorry—”
“No no no, don’t start with that,” he says softly, prying your legs open once again. His middle and ring fingers have been teasing you for longer than you could count, not that you could count if you wanted to anyway. With the occasional brush the spot within you you couldn’t reach with your own fingers, and then occasional attention to your clit, following the instructions not to cum were becoming more and more implausible.
Your heart is beating heavy against your chest as he holds your thigh down with his free hand. Before you can even whine or beg for something more, the hands that visited your nipples return with a vengeance, pinching and plucking them with purpose.
The sensations are too much, your back arching into the touch as your thighs tense under Geto’s hand. You let out a guttural moan, your toes curling as you shudder from each graze of a finger tip and each press to your core.
“Ahhh, shouldn’t’ve done that,” Gojo chides, mirth in his voice. He leans over, his voice dropping a few octaves and nearly to a whisper, his dick throbbing against your cheek, “You’ll get punished, you know…” the way he says it sounds less like a warning and more like an anticipation of your inevitable demise.
You mewl into his thigh, jumping when Geto sighs and presses against the spongy part of you in the back more purposefully. You turn your head into the wet spot growing in Gojo’s slacks, gripping his thigh as you mewl into him. Your heart is threatening to jump out your chest as Geto presses his thumb to your clit, moving faster than before. You can feel your body tightening up, a pressure building in you when—
“Ah ah ah…” Geto stops immediately, causing you to cry out. “I told you—”
“Please! Please please,” you sob, drooling from the high you were desperately chasing. You cling to Gojo tightly, glancing up at him through wet eyelashes, your lip puffy from biting down on it. Hooded eyes that are nearly glazed over completely are enough to threaten to make him come on the spot.
“Satoru won’t save you if he knows what’s good for him,” Geto says, reinserting his fingers and pumping slowly.
Gojo closes his eyes and lets out a shaky breath. He moves away from your nipples to gently massage your breasts as he sits up. It takes only the mention of the incident to reel him back in, the memory of being forced to edge for an hour only to find relief from rutting on a pillow rather hot in the moment, but wholly unsatisfying. “Sorry babe, you’re on your own,” he says gently, giving a small peck to your cheek.
It warrants a small, amused chuckle from Geto before he continues. “And so they said, ‘I’m sure you’re well acquainted with Gojo Inc. —”
“No way!” Gojo exclaims, squeezing your breasts in surprise. You abuse your bottom lip once again, taking it between your teeth.
So if m is 5 and y is 3…
“Way!” Suguru confirms, pulling his finger from you completely and watching your pathetic hole clench around nothing. He smiles to himself when he surprisingly doesn’t hear a peep. He grunts as he repositions himself between your legs tying his hair and a bun and wrapping his arms around your thighs to lock you in place.
“Suguru…” you say as a silent plea, sniffling as you feel each searing kiss get closer and closer to your needy cunt.
“What did I say?”
“Fuck…” comes from Gojo, nearly breathless. His own dick is achingly hard in his pants. “C-can I—”
“When I’m done,” Geto says with a smile, nuzzling his nose against your clit and relishing in the way you jump. Gojo lets out a whimper of his own as he watches the scene.
“So they’re expecting me to pay for it?”
“Pretty much,” is all Geto says before laying his tongue flat against your heat. It’s dizzying, causing you to shut your eyes so hard you see small sparks of white. “Ha ha… always so fucking wet.”
In your delirium you swear you can feel Gojo’s dick twitch in his pants. “They’re not getting shit.”
“That’s what I said.” the hard point of his tongue presses over your needy hole, your thighs tensing under you. “Ah what the hell. You can come as much as you want, babe. Only I’ll decide when you stop.”

Maybe unrequited feelings
Pairing: Vinsmoke Sanji x [gender neutral] Reader Words: ~ 2 800 Summary: The way he treated you made you wonder if he didn't like you, but it seems to be quite the opposite. Tags: Sanji is just a babygirl / Shy Sanji A/N: I'm still learning how to write for op
MASTERLIST

It felt off, really. Were you ugly or something? Maybe annoying. Or just not his type. It all always bugged you a little, an insistent thought in the back of your mind that always resurfaced whenever you saw Sanji with heart eyes pampering whoever he found attractive. Something shifted in your chest whenever you watched it happen, so it wasn’t much different now, watching him talk to whatever person that sat two tables away from you.
That was supposed to be a nice day, shaped for relaxing and clearing your minds on this new island. The crew had divided itself in two parts at some point, with Luffy, Franky, Usopp, Brook and Zoro wandering off at the moment they saw the local commerce, an activity you and the others weren’t really up to, given the intense heat. In the light of this, at the moment, you sat at a small table outside a little restaurant with Nami, Robin, Chopper, and, previously, Sanji. His drink sat unattended at the table; its cold temperature clashed with the hot weather and resulted in a puddle of condensation at the base of the fancy glass.
“You seem a little off, (y/n). Are you sure you are alright?” Chopper asked. His eyes barely made it over the table and his straw made a comically long turn to go above the glass then down to reach his lips.
Your eyes averted to Chopper, but you just pursed your lips in a little funny pout that made him chuckle, so you couldn’t help and smile a little. “I’m fine, Chopper, don’t worry! Just thinking a little, ‘s all!” Why would you talk about it, in the first place? You were sure Robin was tired of your venting.
Nami raised an eyebrow at you, however, crossing her arms over her chest as she leaned back against the chair. “Are you sure? I mean, I’ve been noticing something...” She trailed off, averting her eyes away in a badly played clueless manner; you looked at Robin out of instinct, and the chuckle she gave you in response had your cheeks warming up while you sat back on the chair, covering your face with your hands.
“Waaa, don’t leave me in the dark!” Chopper cried out, tugging at you and then at Nami. “What’s it? What’s it?” He almost walked over the table to do the same to Robin.
“Well, let’s say that Mx. (y/n) would enjoy a little more attention from our cook.” Robin smiled. You wondered how amusing the situation was for her. Even Nami herself seemed to have fun, giggling into her hand.
“Yeah, maybe...” You trailed off, letting your hands run through your hair, and decided to take a large sip of the drink to end it already and perhaps clean your mind a little.
“Eh?” Chopper looked at you for a long moment. “Then you can just—”
“(Y/n) has a crush on Sanji, Chopper!” The volume of Nami’s voice not only had your cheeks burning bright red, but also looking at Sanji to make sure he didn’t hear anything while Chopper made a scandal, as if he had heard the biggest gossip of his whole life—part of you hoped Sanji did catch on it and came over, even if it wouldn’t have the best outcome.
“B—But him, (y/n)?” Chopper’s jaw dropped. “H—He’s nice and all, but—”
“Look at the way you put it!” You clicked your tongue, shaking your head at Nami. “It’s not a crush... I’m just... interested. I would at least like to be friends with him, closer and all, but he just, um, treats me as if I were still new to the crew and all.” A sigh escaped your nose and your eyes drifted away from everyone else—you didn’t need their pitiful looks. What if it sounded a little too attention seeking? It wasn’t really your priority. Everything was fine as long as you and Sanji worked together just right during the fights and didn’t get in the way of each other’s objectives.
Nami hummed as she tilted her head. She didn’t remember Sanji ever directly asking you for your favorite dish so he could prepare it nor at least once urging to be paired up with you when you split up on any plan or adventure. “Now that you’ve mentioned it...” She raised her eyebrows and looked over at Sanji, scratching her chin. “Maybe there’s actually something up with this.”
“Would you like any of us to find out what is happening, (y/n)?” Robin asked you. “I suppose it could be of certain help since you want to be friends with him, at minimum.”
Worrying them wasn’t good—it made a weight set itself in the back of your mind—, but at the same time, something in your chest insisted that you accept it. Maybe there would be improvements you weren’t aware of at the moment. Silence your mind, even. That would be a great improvement, actually, not having you worry about something so constantly, as silly as it was.
“Well, I am not opposed to that,” you mumbled, absentmindedly playing with the straw inside the empty glass. “Just don’t tell him that I, um, am interested. I trust you.” Those words had Nami immediately grinning, rubbing her palms together; you glared at her along with Chopper, though he had more of curious eyes. “Correction, I trust Robin!”
You left after a quick exchange of words, once again telling how you trusted them and reminding them of your condition, this time deciding to go after Luffy and the others to find out what they were up to.
Walking with the others was fun. It was no surprise that Zoro was not with them, but you managed to find him after some point. At first, you were just making sure not to let him get lost, although you eventually got to a point in which you didn’t recognize your surroundings and didn’t see the others as well. As much as you insisted, Zoro just said you two would eventually find them again because you weren’t even lost. Technically you did find them, but it was just when the sun had already disappeared in the horizon, and dinner was already being served at Sunny.
“Hi!” You called as you took a seat next to Nami, happy to be at the ship again, and eyed her bowl with a hum of appreciation. “Sorry, we got lost!”
“We did not!” Zoro retorted; you chuckled with a roll of eyes, but wouldn’t argue, not this time.
“We—”
“Here, Mx. (y/n).” Sanji stood there bowing down, with a cloth over the arm he didn’t use to hand out the bowl with food that he had served for you. He was there, noticing you. Wow, you existed to Sanji as something aside from a fighting partner. “I hope you enjoy it.”
“Thank you.” Your voice was weaker than you’d like it to be. The bowl was warm, heating up your hands after a long day of holding glasses and cups of cold drinks, and the taste was better than ever. Nami’s eyes on you were difficult not to notice, however, you decided to ignore it for now, continuing to eat. What did they tell Sanji?
The empty dishes were set aside, being collected by Sanji and Chopper, while you talked with Nami and Robin, leaned against the railing while observing the waves crash against the side of Sunny. Once loud and crowded, now the island sat quiet since the people at the streets near the shore were in their homes already, plus that Zoro and Luffy already snored away wherever they were; the rest were probably off to their quarters or messing with anything else in the peace of the night.
Your talk with the girls had already faded away, leaving you busy with your thoughts instead, or at least until Nami spoke up again. “I’m going to be right back,” she said, leaving with no further explanation, disappearing inside the kitchen.
“Maybe I should go to sleep as well.” You yawned. Your muscles complained a bit with the way you rolled your shoulders in a futile attempt to get rid of the weight that clung to them. Lying down on your soft mattress would feel simply perfect after a long day like that.
Robin placed a hand over your forearm before you could move. “Can you just wait for Nami to return, with me?”
“Well, sure.” Just a little longer wouldn’t hurt. The thing is, it wasn’t just a little longer. You couldn’t keep your feet in the same place for long enough. You had spent the whole day walking around the city, so lying down wasn’t a bad idea at all. "Robin—"
"I think she is not coming back." Robin chuckled. "Come on." She nodded back to the kitchen—aw damn, she dragged you to the kitchen instead of the quarters' direction.
The kitchen was all quiet. Only Chopper was there, asleep in the corner, and the other two were nowhere to be seen. Robin moved to get a glass of water for herself and you did the same, hoping it would help you fight the tiredness a little. It did, thankfully, because Robin was taking you downstairs next. Why would she go to the bar, anyways?
Getting closer, you could hear Nami’s voice. She sounded stern. "...and you'll open that damn mouth of yours and speak, you hear me?" A hand rested on her hip while she held her index finger out at Sanji's face, looking like a mother scolding her kid, when you walked in.
"Yes, Nami-swam!" Sanji bit on his handkerchief that he held, sniffling and crying dramatically as he nodded frantically, with red cheeks. His wide eyes observed Nami proudly move back and cross her arms, with a smile lingering over her lips when she finally acknowledged your and Robin's presence. Oh. The idea of what could happen already had your cheeks heating up.
"We did have a talk earlier today, as you had asked, (y/n)." Nami’s humor took a turn again, turning light and sweet as it always was most of the time when it came to you.
A soft sigh escaped your nose; you nodded, not knowing where to look. Thankfully, it was happening, but it wouldn’t be a bad idea if it were over soon. You gulped, returning your attention to Nami in a silent request for her to continue. It was awkward, of course, because you were dragging Robin and Nami into a situation that wasn’t theirs, even if they were the ones to offer to help, in the first place. Sanji could be being bothered in unimaginable ways and then start hating you, you never knew.
“Well, I’m heading to bed. I don’t think it’s my business to interfere!” Nami said simply, waving a hand as she walked past you to leave the place, followed by Robin, who wished you a good night before she could leave.
A shiver ran down your spine and you felt reality finally crash over you at the moment their footsteps faded in the distance and Sanji sniffled again. You shook your head, scratching the back of your neck. “Um, look, I—”
“I’m so sorry, (y/n)-san!” Suddenly, he was on his knees right in front of you, frantically bowing. “I’m so sorry! I didn’t ever mean to make you feel this way! Truth is I actually like you a lot! I’m so sorry, (y/n)-san!” He cried out with that traditional drama of his that you’d always seen, but never directed towards you.
“You... like me?” You furrowed your eyebrows, confusion only growing when Sanji froze on his tracks and moved to sit back on his legs, with his hands clasped together over his chest.
“I—I, um, yes!” Sanji had his cheeks red; hell, that was something new since he wasn’t even drunk. How much did Nami scold him for him to be reduced to pieces like this? It was even funny. “I just don’t know what to... I felt like flirting with you all the same as the others wouldn’t work, it needed to be special, but I also didn’t know how else to approach you, I was just waiting for the right moment—” The whole blabbering had you questioning if he would die talking so much without taking a single breath, but then something clicked in your mind. Approaching you had to be...
“Special?” You questioned as you crouched down in front of him, and the new proximity had Sanji covering his face with his hands.
“Sorry for not being good enough and for my unrequited feelings! I never wanted to bother you, (y/n)-san!”
Unrequited feelings. You wanted to laugh, though you held it back because of the uncertainty regarding how he would react to it, so you instead just pressed your lips together into a smile as you looked at him. Sanji was about to bow again when you held onto his shoulder.
“I...” You sighed, gaze falling to the ground. “I wouldn’t call it unrequired.” An awkward chuckle escaped your lips, fading away into silence. Did you do something wrong? Aw, fuck. When you looked at Sanji again, his face burned bright red as blood flowed from his nose again. “Sanjiii!” You cried, shaking his shoulders to knock life back into him, and finally stopped when his hands wrapped around your wrists.
“You like me back, (y/n)-san?” And Sanji started blabbering again, this time soon falling silent with a soft cry muffled into the palms of his hands. Even though you couldn’t see his face, his ears were bright red. Who knew? Sanji actually liked you, and instead of being bold and flirty like he usually was with the people he was infatuated with, he got all shy instead.
Holding back another chuckle was impossible, letting your lips curl into a smirk as you poked his hand. “Ohh, so that’s why you get all shy around me? That’s why you avoid me? Because you don’t know what to do, afraid I won’t like you?” Whatever he said in response fell incoherent against his hands. “Hell, and me here thinking that you didn’t like me! Who knew I could’ve gotten the boy I wanted much earlier?” The words you chose had the exact effect you expected, flustering Sanji even more, though you didn’t imagine him to be quiet with it, whining about something you didn’t understand, once more. “Aw, Sanji!” Something in your chest shifted with the way he knelt there all small.
Sanji’s shoulders shrunk a little with the way you reached out to run your fingers through his hair, almost curling up into a ball right there when you pressed a kiss to his head.
“C’mon, can I see your face?” Your finger ran up and down the back of his hand, tracing a protruding vein before circling his knuckle. Gulping, Sanji shook his head. “Aw!” You pouted. “How am I supposed to kiss you, then? Not that I will be mad if you don’t want it to happen now, but it would be nice.”
His fingers twitched a little, and Sanji parted his fingers a little to look at you—you tilted your head with a smile in response. It was slow, but he did uncover his face, still never looking you in the eyes. Damn, and think that, among so many people, you were the one who could reduce him to such a state. His hands rested over his thighs, clenched into fists.
“There’s no need to be nervous,” you mumbled and cupped his cheek, leaning in. At first, it was only a brush of your nose against Sanji’s, experimentally—as light as the touch was, he still flinched and leaned back. Okay, maybe you were rushing... or not. He immediately leaned into your hand again, although closing his eyes.
“Sorry,” he whispered.
“No, no, it’s fine.” You let your thumb run over his cheekbone. “I can just—” He shook his head again, so you interrupted yourself.
“Please...?” Sanji opened his eyes a little, letting his hand rest over yours.
Before you could start to overthink things, you just leaned in to finally press your lips to his. It was awkward at first, out of synchrony, slowly growing into something softer. His lips were a little cracked, letting you control the kiss then seeking yours when you threatened to pull away, so you deepened the kiss; he sighed softly. You only pulled away when the air wasn’t enough and let Sanji rest his head against your shoulder.
Only the sound of your breathing along with the water’s broke through the silence. A feeling tingled in your chest, making you feel nice all over; you couldn’t help but hug Sanji close, nuzzling his shoulder softly. A long sigh escaped your nose when you fell to reality again, noticing how your knees started to ache against the wooden floor.
“Hey, it’s late.” You patted his back. “How about we go to bed? Make sure to sleep well so we can enjoy the day tomorrow, okay?”

Conflicted: Final Part
Pairing: Spencer Reid x Female!Reader
Word Count: ~2.3k
Summary: It’s hard convincing people what you can see without the physical proof to back it up. You immediately know who the unsub is, but you have to wait for everyone to catch up to you. How can you make them see what you see?
Warnings: canon violence, canon language, canon talk of death, methods of kill
Author’s Note: I do not own anything from Criminal Minds. All credit goes to their respective owners. If there are any warnings that exceed the normal death/kills from the show, I will list them. If you’ve seen the show, then it’s the same level of angst unless otherwise stated
x
"State your name."
"Adam Jackson."
"What color are your eyes?"
"Green."
"Where were you the night Carl Cade was killed?"
"At work."
"Who is the current president of the United States?"
"Barack Obama."
"Did you murder Dan Keller?"
"No."
"Did you murder William Browder?"
"No."
"What is thirty-two minus nineteen?"
This is where it gets interesting. Something clicks in Adam's mind. It's only for a split second, but you see the subtle change in his attitude. He tries to hide it, which is why it goes unnoticed by Spencer.
"I don't know."
"Would you kill for Julie?"
"No."
"You lied about the altercation with William. Is there anything else you've lied about?"
"No."
"Did you murder Dan Keller?"
"No."
"What time did you leave work the night William was killed?"
"I don't remember," Adam stutters.
"Have you ever had a sexual relationship with Julie?"
"No."
"Did you murder Carl Cade?"
"No."
"Using the formula y equals mx plus b, what does b represent?"
"I don't know."
"Did you murder Carl Cade?"
"No."
"Did you murder William Browder?"
"No."
"Would you kill for Julie?"
"No."
This is getting nowhere. You and Spencer take a break and give someone else a try with the questioning until almost two hours have passed. Julie and Adam are free to go since there is no hard proof that either of them was involved with the murders. While they are signing out at the front, your team is watching the videos play back not far from them. You can still see Adam from where you are, and your eyes haven't left his since he got to the desk.
Spencer plays back the video again, paying close attention to Adam.
"What are you looking at?" JJ asks.
"I'm not sure."
"Well, they both passed. With flying colors, I should say."
"The only spike I got on Adam was from a control question regarding geometric equations, but I think I just flustered him. Either way, we got nothing."
Spencer looks at Adam who is staring at you and him. There is something in his eyes that tells you Adam is no longer in the building. He has that look about him that screams dominance, but he and Julie are already out the door before you can question it. Spencer sees the same thing you did, and he pulls up the security footage from when Adam tackled William into the pool.
"So, where are we now?" Derek asks.
"Honestly? Nowhere. We just watched our two most viable suspects walk out the door."
"If Adam isn't our unsub, he has all the makings to become one someday."
"Tell me the question that he spiked under in the polygraph," Spencer says. "It was a geometric equation, right?"
"Reid, I really think he was just intimidated. He tried and got it wrong, but he wasn't supposed to know the answer anyway."
"What if he lied? What if he knew the answer but intentionally got it wrong?"
"Why would he do that?" JJ asks.
"Because he realized that he wouldn't know the answer."
"You're losing me, kid."
"Adam said he wasn't getting any rest. He takes midday naps because he's always exhausted. He has a history of blackouts, reclusive behavior, and prolonged repeated abuse suffered at the hands of a dominant male who transferred abuse from his female spouse to his prepubescent child. What if our unsub couple isn't a couple at all? I think Y/N is right. He has another personality in his head."
All eyes are on you and all you can do is shrug.
"You had to come to that conclusion on your own. You say we're a team but right now doesn't feel like it. Excuse me."
You leave the group to grab some air outside. Everyone feels bad for not listening to you but it's hard with this job since they need proof and facts, not intuition even if they believe you or not.
"We've seen this before."
"Check this out. The first intervention is timid and apprehensive, right? Then, he gets knocked down. There's a moment of calm, and then his entire body language changes. I saw this exact same transformation when Adam left the station. Only it wasn't rage, it was arrogance. Like the alter ego wanted me to know."
"Why?" Hotch asks.
"I don't know. Maybe for power or control. All I know is the person that stared me down over there was not Adam. He's not assertive like that. He doesn't make eye contact."
"You think the stress of the interrogation blurred the line between Adam and his alter personality?" Emily asks.
"I think the unsub surfaced for just a moment. It knew the answer to the question, realized Adam wouldn't, and lied. Y/N was right. We profiled the duo accurately, only the dominant personality is inside of Adam."
"Adam has no idea he killed all those people."
"You could argue that Adam didn't kill those people. A separate person inside of him did. It's what Y/N was trying to tell us this entire time."
"Everyone, go over to the Hudson Street Hotel. I'll be right back."
Hotch leaves and finds you outside sitting on the bench just staring at the street. He takes a seat next to you, and you look at him with a sigh.
"I feel like we always seem to have these conversations."
"I'm sorry we didn't believe you."
"It's not that. You guys will never understand what I see on a daily basis. You'll never truly understand how energies and spirits work, and I get that. I am here today because I want to help take down the bad guys and save as many people as I can. You allowed me onto this team for what I can bring to it. I am grateful for the opportunity you have given me.
"I've spent my whole life relying on my gift and using what I see to my advantage. I never had to gather hard evidence because I never needed to. Just as much as you're learning from me, I'm learning from you. I don't know what it's like to see a crime scene and to only know what's physically in front of me. I've never had to piece the puzzle together because I see it whole.
"I know what the law is. I know a judge needs evidence and proof to put someone away. Sometimes I forget that. So, you had to come to that conclusion about Adam on your own. I can give my input but I needed everyone on the same page for us to move forward as a team. You're doing a good job, Hotch. I'm sorry for what I said. We are a team."
"Let's call this a learning experience for us both, yeah?"
"I promise to do better and to gather all the evidence before coming to you."
"No, still come to me. I actually enjoy seeing your view on things."
With that out of the way, you get ready with the rest of the team to head over to the hotel. There are police sirens and ambulances there when you arrive, and you rush to the back to see what the commotion is. Julie is lying on the ground covered in blood because she was pushed off the roof. You look up and see Adam on the roof with an evil look in his eyes. Though, when he mists away, you know he's not actually up there.
"Julie, can you hear me?" Hotch asks carefully.
"Adam..."
"Help is right outside. I need you not to move."
"It wasn't him... strange.
"Julie, did he say where he was going?"
"He called himself Amanda."
"That's his other personality," you say to Hotch.
"Where would he go?"
"Not he, she. Amanda panicked. She knew we would connect this to her."
"Okay, so she's feeling the pressure. She obviously knows she's running out of time. Where would she go?"
"She's gonna go after the man these victims represent."
Amanda is going back to Mark Harrison's house to finally deal with the root of all hers and Adam's problems. He is the reason why Amanda was created in the first place. Penelope sends over the address for Mark, and half of you head over there immediately. The other half stay with Julie in case Adam comes back for her. When you get to Marks' house, you see him bound and gagged to a chair with a bag over his head. Adam is standing next to him with a knife in his hands, but it's not Adam.
It's Amanda.
"Amanda put the knife down."
"Stand back or I'll kill him," Adam says in a feminine voice.
"You do not want to do that."
"You don't know what he did!"
"When Adam's mother died, his stepfather needed a new outlet for his aggression. He put Adam in dresses, beat him, and touched him. Adam was too weak to go through all of that alone. He was just a little boy. He needed me to protect him. I could take it. I was stronger than he was. He deserves to die," Amanda says angrily.
"Amanda, that is not for you to decide. I swear to God, if you put him down and you come with me, I will get you and Adam the help that you guys need."
"Adam will be sentenced for what I've done. No, I can't let that happen."
Amanda lets Mark go and puts the knife to her throat instead. She'll kill Adam rather than watch him go to prison.
"If you kill yourself, you kill Adam. I don't see how that's protecting him. Do you know what I know? I know that all you want to do in this world Is protect Adam."
"It's all I've ever done."
"Then why don't you and I help him together?"
"You can't help him. I'm the only one. I know what I have to do. I will keep him safe forever."
Amanda drops the knife so that Derek can move in to arrest her, but the look in her eyes suggests that she is never letting Adam out of her mind. He will be locked away in his own mind for however long Amanda decides. Spencer rushes over and tries to find the shred of Adam left, but he's gone and you don't think he's coming back.
"Reid, he's gone," you sigh.
Spencer is taking this harder than you thought he would, and you don't know why. While everyone else is focused on arresting Adam and trying to get Amanda to release him, you approach Spencer who is off to the side by himself.
"Hey, what's going on in that big brain of yours?"
"We've taken the victim into custody and let the abuser go free. I don't really see that as much of a win."
"A lot of lives are gonna be saved now that Amanda's off the street. You know that."
"I should have listened to you. I should have known."
"You needed to come to the conclusion on your own, but this is more than just Adam. What else is going on?"
"Tobias Hankel."
"Tobias drugged and tortured you for two days. He almost killed you."
"No, he didn't. The personality of his father did those things to me. The real Tobias saved my life. He brought me back from the dead. I know that Adam is still locked inside his own head somewhere."
"Baby, people with DID are never black-and-white cases. There's always going to be a 'good' personality or someone who is innocent in all of this. It sucks but sometimes, we can't save everyone. Imagine a world if we could."
"Yeah, I guess," he sighs.
"Look, we're in Corpus Christi. The case is over with. My reunion is right around the corner. If you're up for it, would you be my date?"
"I think I can do that," he smiles.
The rest of the team flies out of Corpus Christi that night so they can get home faster, but you and Spencer stay to enjoy a night of memories and old friends. You'll fly back after the reunion and maybe spend the night on the beach or something; something romantic with Spencer before returning to your life.
The reunion is being held at a banquet hall where half your class is already there. Spencer heads straight for the bathroom while you look around for some familiar faces. Sitting by himself in the back is the kid who was being beaten by his dad. He hated you for accidentally telling everyone this even though you never meant to. People were eavesdropping; how is that your fault?
Still, you walk over to him in hopes he's not still mad at you over what happened thirteen years ago.
"Sean?"
"Y/N?"
"I didn't think you'd remember me, honestly."
"How could I forget the woman who saw what no one else did?"
"So, I'm guessing you're not mad at me anymore?"
"Not at all. How have you been? What do you do?"
"I've been good. I'm in the FBI, actually. We just got done with a case just in time for this reunion," you chuckle. "What about you? Are you here with anyone?"
"I'm here by myself. I actually have my own graphic design business." He hands you his business card with a smile. "I do a lot of designs for bands and websites and other things."
"That's amazing."
"Are you here with anyone?"
"My boyfriend is in the bathroom. He told me I should come to this. I wasn't even going to go. To be honest, my time at that school wasn't the best as you know."
"About that, I just want to say I'm sorry. You're the only one who ever saw there was something wrong. Because of you, I finally stood up to my dad and left. I never looked back."
"I'm happy for you. If you're ever in the Quantico area of Virginia, I'd love to take you out and catch up."
"Yeah, that sounds awesome," he chuckles.
"There you are." Spencer comes back from the bathroom. "This place is a maze."
"Sean, meet my boyfriend, Spencer. Spencer, this is Sean, one of my classmates."
"You're very lucky, man."
"I know," Spencer smiles and pulls you closer to him.
Spencer was right, this is giving you closure you never knew you needed. High school was such a long time ago that you don't need to ever worry about what anyone else is doing. You have an amazing boyfriend, a super cool job, and a life you wouldn't trade for anything.

sam, I can't figure you out. and it drives me crazy. you're like an enigma that I can't seem to solve. i'm in awe of how your mind works because, on one hand, you say you don't read books that often but then, you have like broadest vocabulary I've seen in someone your age. which doesn't make sense because there must be something that feeds your mind and vocabulary because it's not like the words just spawn in your mind out of nowhere. do you listen to podcasts? or listen to too much music? maybe you read articles instead? and then you once said you're terrible at maths but there have been mathematical analogies in your fics multiple times. there's a discrepancy here. please end my mawing curiosity and enlighten me 👉 🎤
First of all this is REALLY boosting my ego so thank you I appreciate that and this is going to make me sound so annoying so I’m putting a read more
I read more when I was younger. I was never like a super voracious reader but words have always interested me and I liked knowing what they meant. To get into the gifted program where I grew up you had to be IQ tested and when they did my verbal IQ it was high and I don’t have any better explanation for why the literary and vocab stuff has always just clicked for me. There were very few words I couldn’t discern the meaning of through context and pattern recognition but as you get older and start learning more words there are plenty you can’t figure out based on context because they don’t appear that often and unless you have some sort of degree in etymology you probably won’t be able to figure out by looking at the root of the word and trying to understand it from there (although I will never stop trying🙏🙏) so I started looking up every word I came across that I didn’t know the meaning of and writing it and its definition down because the idea of NOT knowing what words mean makes me claustrophobic lol!! I learn words the way a doomsday prepper stocks canned goods it’s like compulsive and also my family all have expansive vocabularies so even when I’m not reading I’m learning words from them, but two books I can tell you right now I read within the past two years and got a lot of vocab from were Prozac Nation by Elizabeth wurtzel and Pale Fire by Vladimir Nabokov. Like you don’t have to read that much to get a lot out of what you do read
Also the math stuff…… math does NOT come easily to me and if I put in effort I can excel but it requires a very specific kind of teacher and a lot of time and energy from me which I HATE dedicating time and energy to things! I want to be immediately and naturally perfect at them!! I also had a huge mental block about math when I was in elementary school and convinced myself I couldn’t do it and I’ve dealt with a lot of genuine humiliation from my teachers for not being naturally good at math so I have absolutely no good associations with it but I’m being brave and taking a math class next quarter.
As for the math analogies…. Google is a beautiful thing….. I literally look up stuff like “what is the most mathematically complex shape” or “list of mathematical paradoxes” or “unsolved math problems” and I can paraphrase them for a fic but if you want me to explain y= mx+b??? Eulers number??? I’m cooked

devil night - john b and angel

three years ago
angel
“please. you’re really going to let me go with some guy that i don’t know?” i asked my friend, tugging on his school blazer so he can look at me. sighing, nico turned over to me and shook his head.
“you can go with anyone else. you’re drop dead gorgeous and that’s the whole point of the dance. to ask out who you want to.”
“and i want to ask you. so how about it? with me you know exactly what you’re getting into and there’s no playing games.”
“tell me you don’t want to go with andrew without telling me you don’t want to go with andrew. suprised he didn’t pop up as soon as you ask me. i expect him to tag you or something. at least have a wire.” he joked tapping my shoulder and leaning closer to it, pretending he was talking in a microphone. “hey andy. how you doing today?”
pushing him off as he started laughing hysterically my voice turned pleading. “come on. we always have a good time when we’re together.” and i don’t want to be hounded all night by andrew and create false expectations on what we are.
i don’t say that part out loud though.
nico might be joking about the microphone but i don’t put it past him. andy always seems to find me even when i’m not telling him where i’m going.
“fine. i’ll go with you.” he gives in and i give a quick squeeze. “thank you. it won’t be disappointing i swear.” i said before heading to my class of the day.
now it’s gonna be easier to talk about the upcoming dance at dinner tonight when mrs routledge brings it up. i could tell the truth instead of changing the subject and feel the need to hide because of andy’s eyes on me.
making sure my hair covered my entire neck, i slipped into my seat next to my friend laura. she flashed me a smile as we got paper out. pop quiz friday. we know the routine.
as the class starts to settle in a senior comes in beaming. “they’re here!” she squeals as she makes her way to her friends and they start giggling as they talk?
who’s here?
“alright class. you know the drill. solve these five problems.” mr gary said turning on the projection and the sound of pencils soon fill the room as we solved the problems.
slope formula is y = mx + b and if x equals zero that means b and m is equal.
i watch as a freshman came into the classroom and gave a note to the mr gary. he read the note and sighed and pulled out a book, pretending to read it.
what?
then I heard the music playing.
they’re here.
the banging on the lockers soon followed.
they’re really here.
four figures came into the classroom. all wearing black hoodies and black pants with masks. jj maybank, rafe cameron, pope heyward, and the one who is the reason i refuse to be anything but friendly to andrew. his older, taller, hotter, and a whole lot more intimidating brother john b routledge.
the four horseman.
they were back.
probably because the basketball team sucked without them. i used to go to every game now i go once in a while and i didn’t pay attention to any of the new players. the new players weren’t them.
whatever magic the team had, it seemed they took it with them. no wonder the coaches or the sponsors called them down from college to pump up the team spirits.
do the tradition no one else seen be able to do. outer banks’ favorite holiday.
devil’s night.
a night of pure chaos where all adults looked away for the night. only the police trying to keep a leash on us.
“ryder johnson.” a boy from the back of the classroom got up. his eyes get flickering around, nervous as we all watched him. “yeah get some ryder.” that made him walk straighter to the one with the black mask - rafe cameron - and a smile to appear on his face as he walked out with rafe’s hand on his neck.
“walter james.” they called again and he didn’t hesitate as the one with the white mask - pope heyward - brought him out.
I can hear a couple of the girls giggling and i put my head back down. finish my work and prepare for what my friends were going to drag me on later.
i heard one of their boots start to walk. probably to see if they miss any other player.
they stopped at my desk.
i can feel my face heat up as i felt their stare on me. no one was whispering now.
looking up, my eyes meeting his and my breath hitched. i was facing the one with the red mask. the one that i was looking for every room i went in. the one whose presence i couldn’t shake even after he left for college.
john b.
our eyes held.
what does he want? he got all the people he wanted for now. girls who was old enough would follow and he would and could have anybody he wants.
but no. his focus was completely on me. it was like the whole classroom was gone and it was just the two of us.
he leaned closer and I sat up more, not wanting to be the one to ruin this. no matter what my thoughts yelled at me.
“she can’t go. she’s only seventeen.” mr gary said but he stayed in his seat. john b didn’t look away from me.
he knew what age i was. just a month younger then his brother. he didn’t budge.
“see something you like?” jj asked.
john b didn’t respond.
“okay. see something you want to bring?” john b shook his head and sat up more. “not yet anyway.” he whispered before they walked out,
my eyes followed as they walked out the room and stayed on the door as two girls walked out with their books, making terrible excuses not even trying to hide their smiles.
“five more minutes.” mr gary announced and i know he meant the quiz but who gives a shit now.
“can you bring this to my house?” i asked laura and raised my hand, putting the other on my stomach. “what are you do-?”
“yes ms santos?”
“my stomach doesn’t feel so good. can i go to the nurse?” he nodded and wrote me a pass.
i expected as much. who would believe that perfect little angel santos would be doing anything else? the straight a student who does volunteer work and wears her uniform in perfect order would be sneaking off to hang out with boys too old for her?
i grabbed the pass from him with a small smile and made my way out. hoping that they didn’t leave yet.
turning the corner in the parking lot, i saw them. the rest of the parking lot was dead so it was easy but it seemed like that everywhere they go. they had an aura that draws you to them.
pope heyward smiling with his mask on, drinking a beer and handing the rest out to the basketball players and girls there. rafe cameron was watching with his arms crossed, getting checked out by some of the girls.
rafe and pope’s car was filled with people. meanwhile it looked like they were using jj’s to house all the drinks.
perfect.
getting closer i prayed they didn’t notice me as i open john b’s car door and sat on the floor. i kept the door open as they got everybody riled up for their next stop.
“man, i do miss high school girls. they don’t give any lip back when you tell them something.” rafe mumbled and i heard jj chuckle.
“where are we going?” someone asked.
“somewhere where they can’t hear you scream.” that was pope’s warm deep voice.
“don’t scare them. that’s what the party is for.” rafe teased and the three of them laughed.
“are you guys done? let’s go.”
john b.
“what got him so pissy?” pope asked and i heard them get farther.
jj ignored his question. “she’s growing up fast and nice huh?”
“yeah. it’s getting harder to pretend not to notice her anymore.” john b replied and I felt something tugging on my heart.
but it was nothing new. he always had a new girl on his arm. he wasn’t mine to keep and i thought i gotten used to that fact.
“who are you guys talking about?” rafe questioned.
“no one. everyone get in their cars. i’m ready to get this weekend ready already.” he said and slammed his door behind him and I closed mine at the same time and laid back in the car.
the roar of the engine underneath me as i try to keep as still as possible. ready for wherever and whatever i was getting myself into.

Inertia 7
Summary: Newton's first law expresses the principle of inertia: the natural behavior of a body is to move in a straight line at constant speed. In the absence of outside influences, a body's motion preserves the status quo.
Jan choose a direction of his life the moment he walked out of his parents house and cut all contact with them. He didn't want anything to do with them, or God anymore. Even his soulmark he wished he could leave behind. But when Nace Jordan joins the band, with a mark matching his own, can Jan keep going the same way he did? Or will the force make him change a direction?
Pairings: Jan Peteh/Nace Jordan
Warnings: None, I think? Please do tell me if I'm wrong I'll edit ot immediately
Notes: AO3 link
urprise! Early update of the last chapter. Thank you everyone who made it this far, especially people who consistently commented throughout. I have several things to say before you jump right in.
1) I am aware JO didn't actually preform at the EMA, but since this is already and au and I really liked the concept of the scene, it is here. Just roll with it 2) There will (hopefully) be two fics following this one, one with the focus on Bojan and the other on Kris. I am not sure exactly when I'll be writing and post them though, since December is quite busy, but until then, at least this is finished.
Anyway, this part is pretty much all fluff and very cheesy at the end, but I figured we all deserved it after all the angst
I believe that witness is a magnitude of vulnerability. That when I say love what I mean is not a feeling nor promise of a feeling. I believe in attention. My love for you is a monolith of try.
The woman I love pays an inordinate amount of attention to large and small objects. She is not described by anything. Because I could not mean anything else,
she knows exactly what I mean.
Once upon a time a line saw itself clear to its end. I have seen the shape of happiness. (y=mx+b) I am holding it. It is your hand.
What Space Faith Can Occupy By TC Tolbert
Jan wondered if light green walls of the therapist's office were suppose to somehow elevate the space. Made it seem more colorful.
Personally, it only reminded him more if a hospital.
Still, just as in all previous sessions, he had to remind himself he wasn't there just for himself. Kris had been genuinely worried after his breakdown. Jure and Bojan didn't know about it, but they likely suspected something had transpired.
He would need to tell Bojan about him and Nace eventually. But that, at least, was a problem for future Jan.
There was also Nace to think about. In the past three weeks, there had been slow, almost painful progress made between them. Still, he was trying. That counted for something, right?
He turned his attention back to the matter at hand.
His therapist was a young woman, Jan would guess somewhere in her thirties. She hat jet black hair and looked perfectly put together. She reminded him of Kris in that regard.
Which made sense, considering he only got a spot so quickly due to Kris' connections. Jan really, really didn't want to think about how he managed that.
"So, Jan," Nina said, "do you want us to continue on where we stopped last time, or do you have something from this week you'd like to discuss?"
Her voice was unkind, or even cold, but Jan still had to force himself to talk sometimes. His trust issues weighted heavily on him in moment like these.
"Well, no. Except that Nace and I actually went to play basketball, but I mentioned we will last week anyway."
Nina patiently waited for him to continue. When he didn't, she spoke again.
"How was it?"
Jan sighed. It was awful. Jan felt genuinely bad for even going along with it, considering how much Nace hated any sport that you had to play with the ball. It ended when Nace didn't manage to catch the ball one time Jan threw it. It hit him in the face and made his nose bleed.
Jan supposed there was a metaphor there somewhere.
"It wasn't great. Nace is...really bad at basketball."
She quickly wrote something down and Jan tried his best not to feel judged.
"And how did you feel about it?"
"Shitty, I guess. I didn't make him play, but it kind of felt like I did."
Nina tapped her pen to the notes.
"From what I have here, it seems Nace usually initiates these activities and they seem to be activities you like. Am I correct?"
Jan shrugged.
"Yes."
"And what do you think about that?"
How many times could she ask him that? Wasn't she supposed to tell him what to think about that? Jan felt increasingly annoyed.
"Why do you keep asking that? If you want to say something, then say it."
She pursed her lips.
"I am not here to tell you how to feel, Jan. I am here to help you verbalize it."
That was the dumbest fucking answer he ever heard.
"I already said I feel bad about it. What more do you want me to say?"
"Have you thought about doing the same for him?"
Jan paused. He haven't. Or well-he had, but he wasn't really sure there was an activity Nace liked that they could do together.
"I don't know if we have anything in common. Other than music, I mean. I know he is trying, but maybe this wasn't a good idea, after all."
Nina nodded, his face neutral. Always so goddamn neutral.
"Have you talked to him about it?"
"What, and break his heart? He'd just try even harder. I don't-"
I don't know what to say to make him give up on me. Jan clenched his teeth.
"I think you should consider trying one of his activity. Surely, there is something he likes that you don't hate."
Jan took in a deep breath. He was fighting the urge to mess up his nails even more, but if he started bleeding during practice again, even Bojan will notice.
"I guess. But that doesn't solve the main issue, does it?"
Nina sighed.
"Alright. How about you think about it, and we talk about something else for the rest od the session?"
Jan agreed and they moved on, but the thought stayed with him. Was he simply not putting enough effort?
The question haunted him enough for him to drive to Nace's apartment few hours later. He only sent him a text asking if he was home, and once he got a confirmation, he sat in the car and drove here.
It was probably rude, but Jan figured that if Nace had an issue with him being rude, they wouldn't be here in the first place.
It wasn't until he rang the doorbell and heard the barking did he remember Nace had a dog. Ollie.
He knew that, of course. It was just that the two of them usually met outside of Nace's apartment and several times they came here, Ollie was being babysat by Nace's sister.
Well. Jan supposed it was bound to happen to or later. If Ollie hated him, did that mean he was immediately disqualified from soulmate status?
Nace opened the door, trying to keep Ollie from rushing into the hallway. Jan felt caught off guard, despite the fact that he was the one who rang the doorbell.
Nace was wearing a tank top. Had Jan ever seen him in one before?
"Please get in before he runs out, I don't feel like trying to catch him."
Jan quickly stepped into the apartment and Nace closed the door behind him. The Nace carefully let Ollie come closer.
Jan kneeled down, offering his hand for him to sniff at. He liked dogs well enough, but he was always at a bit of a loss on what to do with them.
Cats you had to build a bond with. Usually just being in their general vicinity was enough at the start. You let them come to you. Even if you offered them treats, you had to leave them at the same distance at first.
Dogs? Dogs were unpredictable. They could love you or hate you your smell. Or whatever it was that they could feel around you.
"Dogs can always tell if a person is good or bad", his brother used to say. Jan, who had dogs both love and hate him for no clear-cut reasons over the years, couldn't quite agree.
Dogs could feel something, certainly. But that something was only a first impression and they choose that intangible thing as a base to be loyal or not.
Cats, at least got to know you first before making any judgments.
Ollie sniffed his hand and cocked his head to the side, as if trying to gauge if he was alright or not.
"Hello," Jan said awkwardly.
Ollie came closer, nudging his snout against his hand and Jan carefully petted him on the head, waiting to see the reaction. When he started wagging his tail, Jan felt relieved.
Nace's dog hating him wasn't something he wished to deal with. There were plenty of other things that made him want to turn back and run away.
"He seems to like you," Nace said softly.
One bad call he share with his owner, Jan thought grimly as he stood up.
"That's good. I think we should talk."
Nace sighed.
"As much as I love how direct you are, that sounds very ominous."
Jan simply took his shoes off and shrugged off his jacket.
Ollie followed them as they went into the living room. Jan wondered if they were creating some sort of bad karma for the place, having all their fucked up conversations here.
Or perhaps he spent too much time around Bojan and his superstitiousness was starting to rub off of him.
"Do you want something to drink first or-"
"How about we just get this over with and then after you can offer me stuff if you want me to stay?"
Nace awkwardly sank into the couch, far enough that Jan would have to stretch to be able to touch him, despite his long arms. Was it for his own comfort, or for Jan's?
They were closer physically since they talked the last time. Sitting closer, hand brushing against each other, squeezing each other's shoulders on occasion. That sort of thing.
Now, though, there was no of that. As if Nace was already getting used to the distance. Which Jan supposed was fair, even if he felt a familiar burning at the soulmark.
Before Jan could say anything, though, Ollie jumped on the couch and attempted to nuzzled at his chest. Jan felt thrown off balance a bit as he petted him, which only prompted Ollie to settle in his lap.
"I don't think I am doing this whole thing right," Jan confessed, not taking his eyes off Ollie.
"Could you please be more specific?"
Jan scratched behind Ollies ear. Matej's dog liked that. Ollie made a content sound so Jan continued.
"You keep putting so much effort into liking things that I like and trying them out. And I-I mean I can do it too, but I don't know if it's even right. Like, shouldn't we already have matching interests? Is it even healthy if we both have to change?"
He took his hands off Ollie and clenched them in frustration. He hated how his tongue always felt like lead when he was supposed to talk about these things. He harshly pulled at his hair and tied it back with the tie around his wrist.
"This works like any other relationship would, Jan."
Jan scoffed.
"Does it? I don't remember any of my friends tailoring their interests to fit me."
Nace took in a deep breath. Jan learned he always did that when he was frustrated, like he was stopping himself from saying anything before he was ready.
"Really? Kris never tried listening to metal for you? He knows you favorite brand of tea on accident? You always keep ear plugs in your car if he gets overstimulated because, what? You did that before you were friends?"
Jan felt speechless.
"That's-
"Different? Yeah, of course it is, because this is Kris we are talking about."
Nace sounded resigned. Hurt, even. Jan slowly looked at him, but now it was Nace avoiding his gaze. He was staring at his hands, his expression troubled.
"I don't mean to say discard your and Kris' friendship. I think it's amazing you have him, but I'm jealous. Not because I think there is anything going on, but because you seem to allow others to get close to you while keep me at arms length. And I don't know what to do at this point to change your mind."
Jan's heart squeezed painfully. He never heard Nace so resigned. He was always the one to try and find a solution and not give up.
He gently set Ollie on the couch, despite his small, protesting whine. Then he stood up sat closer to Nace. Close enough that their shoulders touched. This time, he was the one to take Nace's hands in his.
"I'm sorry. You are right."
Nace's head slowly rose, like he barely dared to be hopeful and look at Jan straight on.
"I was, well I am scared. We said we'll be friends, but I don't think I can be your friend. From the moment we met, I kept you at arm length and for one single moment I didn't, we ended up hooking up. You terrify me, Nace."
Nace's breath stuttered. Jan leaned his forehead against Nace's and closed his eyes.
"I had all but convinced myself everything about soulmates was bullshit, that all that was stories and people kept confirming them because they were desperate for it to be true. But that was all it was, a placebo effect. And then you came along. Shattered everything I thought I knew."
For a moment, there was silence. Then Nace's hand touched his neck, just a bit below the soulmark. Jan took in a deep, shuddering breath.
"May I?"
"Yes."
The first time Nace touched the soulmark, Jan was too terrified to even appreciate the sensation. But he did now. The feeling was warm and safe. Jan expected his heart to race, but instead it calmed down, as if soothed by Nace's touch.
Something about a gesture made something deep inside him uncoil and words just started pouring out of him.
"When I was fifteen, I started secretly listening to metal. The first time I did, I felt so guilty, I ended up crying and not allowing myself to eat for a day, as a penance. For weeks, I had been worse off than if I had never listened to it. It took me months to gather the courage to try again."
Jan hoped Nace would understand he was saying. He wasn't sure he could say it outright. Nace hummed.
"You are afraid, but you also know that doesn't mean this is bad because you are afraid."
Jan nodded, but Nace didn't say anything immediately after. When he finally spoke, he didn't say what Jan expected him to.
"When I was twelve, I was bullied a lot because of my weight. I remember being terrified of going to school. The only place I felt safe in was the church, because nobody bullied me there. I felt safe. Even if the conditions and rules weren't perfect, it was still better."
Jan opened his eyes, almost indignantly.
"I am not a church."
Nace cracked a small smile.
"No. But you are a safe space, even if the conditions and rules you impose aren't perfect."
Jan's answer was to kiss him. Not roughly, like he did before, but softly and slowly. Giving Nace time to pull away.
He didn't, instead he kissed him back and pulled him closer. One of Jan's hands curled around Nace's nape and the other reached for his wrist. He knew exact moment he touched his soulmark, because Nace shivered.
The only way Jan could describe the feeling was that the bond between them sang. Like the world slightly tilted and found a perfect balance.
Like they were perfect together.
Jan had to pull back from the kiss, fighting a near overwhelming fear that washed over him. Nace didn't let him go far this time, instead pulling him in a hug.
"It's okay."
Nace's voice was soft, and he was warm and comfortable and it was almost unbearable.
"I know it's fucking okay," Jan said, his voice breaking.
He buried his head in Nace's chest and hope he didn't feel the tears soaking his shirt. Nace didn't say anything after that, he simply held him as he cried.
Until the tears dried out and the fear slightly pulled back. Still, some doubts remained.
"What if the rules and conditions can't be improved anymore? What if this is just...who I am?"
He pulled back a bit, to study Nace's face as he answered. Unexpectedly, Nace grinned.
"Well, if a church gets a new priest-"
Jan rolled his eyes at the awful joke.
"You've been hanging with Bojan too much."
Nace was still grinning.
"A priest can also recommend new way of worship-"
Jan groaned loudly and pushed Nace back, so he landed on his back, laughing openly. He had a beautiful, infectious laugh that Jan couldn't help but laugh along as well.
"Please don't use church metaphors anymore. They are awful."
Nace stretched his arms over his head, exposing his muscles and tattoos even more. Jan couldn't help, but let his gaze linger on them.
"Make me."
Jan was never the one to avoid temptation. And Nace had always been so tempting. Almost like a red apple in a garden without color. Jan leaned down and kissed him again.
Nace melted into the kiss and reached out to him again. His hands reached Jan's hair and Jan tense slightly, but Nace gently pulled at the tie, until his hair spilled from the ponytail.
Jan was distracted enough by the kiss to let him. He wanted Nace closer and-
They were interrupted by a loud, insistent whine. Jan pulled back enough to look in the direction it came from, finding Ollie looking at them with the saddest expression he could possibly muster.
Nace burst out laughing, his whole body shaking.
"I think he doesn't like me hogging his new favorite."
Jan chuckled, sitting back up. He held his hand out and petted Ollie gently, immediately receiving a lick on his hand.
"Maybe I could have some sort of tea, if the offer still stands," Jan said, not looking away from Ollie.
"It absolutely does. I have mint tea Kris mentioned you liked."
Traitor, Jan thought, giving away my secrets.
"Nace?"
"Yeah?"
"Which one is your favorite?"
Jan turned his head to look, catching a surprise that flitted across his face before it melted in a soft smile.
"Probably chamomile."
Of course. The calming thing one always drank when they felt unwell to soothe and comfort. It fit him.
"I'll remember that."
With that Nace went into the kitchen, and Ollie brough Jan a ball he could throw for him. Jan took in a deep breath, feeling as if he just climbed a mountain. Whatever happened after this, he had a feeling he could handle after.
As terrifying as it could get.
Jan was nervously tapping his fingers against the wheel, resisting the urge to bite his nails. It was not a smart thing to do while driving.
"Are you really not going to tell me where we are going?"
He chuckled a bit at Nace's pleading tone. This really was an unusual role reversal for both of them, wasn't it?
"I told you, it's a surprise."
Nace huffed and settled back in his seat. Jan sneaked a glance at him when he stopped at the red light. Nace had his arms crossed over his chest, his warm brown jacket tightly wrapped around his biceps.
"One would think I am taking you to get shot," Jan teased, turning his gaze back to the road as the light changed to green.
Nace laughed at that, at least, his shoulders relaxing.
"No, I just-I am not used to surprises. You barely gave me any hints on what to wear!"
Jan smirked.
"I said wear something comfortable that you don't mind getting dirty."
He could feel Nace's unimpressed stare on him.
"Very helpful."
Jan chuckled and took a left turn, parking to the side. Nace immediately started glancing around, trying to gauge where they were. Jan couldn't help but think it was kind of cute.
He unbuckled his belt and got out of the car, waiting for Nace to do the same. When he did, he led him to a nearby building.
Nace was frowning, trying to piece together what they were doing. Jan decided to take pity on him.
"It's a pottery class."
His head immediately snapped towards Jan, his eyes widening.
"You are taking me to a pottery class??"
Jan swallowed, growing nervous all of a sudden. Did he misjudge? Did Jure mix something up?
"Jure mentioned you wanted to try it since your sister did pottery. I thought..."
"No! I mean, yes, I love the idea!"
He sounded so eager, so terrified that Jan would change his mind and snatch the offer away from him. Jan felt bad. Was he truly treating him in a way that made him think he'd play him like this for a joke?
"Alright then. Let's go."
There were people inside already, and their teacher quickly introduced himself. He gave them instructions on hand-building techniques with clay, saying they need to get used to that before they can move to the pottery wheel.
The process was messy and Jan underestimate just how bad he was at shaping the clay. When Nace looked over and saw his wonky cup, he doubled over laughing.
Jan side-eyed him, before taking a bit of clay and smearing it over Nace's shirt. Nace gasped.
Then he grabbed a piece of clay and smeared it over Jan's cheek. Jan slapped his hair away, trying to rub it off.
"If this gets into my hair Nace, I swear-"
Nace laughed again and someone shushed them.
"Can you two please let the rest of us work?" A blond man left of them said.
He was short, with blind hair just below his ears. He was frowning at them intently, reminding Jan of an annoyed cat.
His tall, tattooed friend-or partner, how could Jan know, really-gently pulled him by the sleeve.
"Lovro, com'on. They are just having fun. Look at this."
The man, well maybe even a boy, with how soft his features looked, immediately turned to the other man. He looked at him like...oh.
Jan looked at Nace, who was clearly eyeing the situation, seeing if Jan could handle it or if he needed to get involved.
Jan was hit by the sudden realization of how much he had come to care for him. Despite all the back and forth and his own grievances, he was-
He stopped his thoughts before any bigger words came to mind. It was still too early to think that. But maybe it wouldn't be, eventually.
Jan never thought of himself as someone who could settle down and yet that spark of hope still lived, nestled deep in his chest.
Maybe.
"Why are you looking at me like that?" Nace asked, titling his head to the side.
Jan shook his head.
"Nothing. Let's try to shape these into something decent before we do that...wheel thing, yeah?"
Nace smiled, like a sudden light igniting in the dark.
"Yeah."
As Jan tried to save his clay cup, he suddenly felt bolder. He could ask, right? At worst, Nace will refuse, but when did Nace refuse him before? Jan cleared his throat.
"You could...come over after, if you'd like. You didn't meet Igor yet."
He didn't look up as he asked the question. It would be easier to take a no when he didn't have to worry about which expression he was making.
"You want me to come over?"
There was that tone again. Like Nace was shocked by this. Like Jan wasn't trying to do better for weeks now. He supposed he'd just have to keep trying.
"If you'd like to, yes. I did get some chamomile tea recently."
He sneaked a glance in Nace's direction. His eyes were soft and his mouth was lightly open, as if in wonder. Jan's heart started beating fasted.
"I would like that," Nace said quietly, looking directly at him.
Jan had to look away, but he couldn't help but smile slight. There was slight fear in his stomach still, but there was no ringing of the church bell, or an urge to reach for a necklace that wasn’t there.
He was still himself and he was still in control of it all. Simply taking steps in the right direction. It had been as if he was in inertia for very long time. After being stuck for so long, it was hard to get back into motion, but once he did, he knew it would get easier.
All he had to do was keep moving.
All Jan could hear was a drum of his own heart as they waited for the host to announce them. Thud. Thud. Thud.
It was finally time for them to preform at EMA. To try and get chosen to represent Slovenia at Eurovision. The importance, the fragility of the moment made all the colors more intense, almost as if they were in new, swirling patterns.
Jan took a look at his bandmates. Each of them in a different outfit that fit them perfectly. Bojan, in his loud combination of green shirt and pink pants, that he somehow managed to pull of regardless.
Kris, in a gold sleeves shirt and lighter pink pants that match. Of course-Kris always knew how much attention to draw to himself. Not too much and not too little.
Jure, with sky blue button up that perfectly fit his sunshine personality and darker purple pants for contrast.
All of them looked amazing, really. But it was Nace that Jan couldn't look away from.
Nace, who finally wore color. A purple suit with a silver shirt underneath. The suit had intricated details that made Jan want to run his fingers over the material and feel it's shapes.
When he arrived, he was always pale beige in their mix of chaos and color. Slowly but surely, that changed. And here they were now.
Jan shuffled closer to him, almost as if pulled by an invisible force. He could feel it, but he found it more comforting now, rather than scary.
"Ready?" He whispered, smiling at him.
"Ready," Nace answered, briefly brushing his hand against Jan's.
"And next up, we have Joker Out!"
They stepped on the stage as the people clapped and Jan could feel the adrenaline fully hitting him. He couldn't concentrate on whatever Bojan briefly said before he started singing.
All Jan could focus on was playing. His fingers slid over the strings just as perfectly as they did the very first time he nailed a song when he was sixteen.
Everything else faded away, like looking at the world through a sort of fog. Only music existed. Even Bojan's singing was slightly muted in that moment. Like Jan was alone with his guitar.
Then his gaze slid to Nace and he found him already looking in his direction. Nace, who still had the ability to be in Jan's bubble that one else could touch.
He didn't mind the company, though. Not anymore.
He sent him a little wink and watched as his cheeks turned slightly red. Then he turned back to the audience and took a deep breath. Then let the bubble snap and all the sound and sensations rush back to him.
Because there was never really a need for the bubble at all. Not when he was at the safe space.
There was no divinity here. None other than the music itself, that they shared with the audience.
When they played the last note, there was a thunderous applause and part of Jan already knew. He could feel it in their bones that they won.
The knowing of being at the right place, at the right time. With just the right people, too.
The rest od the night passed in a blur. Jan knew he talked to people, but later he'd be unable to recall what he said. He'd remember the high of the announcement that they won and all of his friends rushing into a group hug.
It wasn't until they all changed back to their everyday clothes and were waiting for Bojan in the cold, that the realization finally started to sink in.
"We won," he whispered into the night air.
"We did," Kris said, smiling.
Whatever makeup they put on him made him look more ethereal than usual. He looked more content than Jan had seen him for awhile.
"What is Bojan doing for so long?" Jure wondered, his eyes lingering on the doors they all cane through.
It was odd. As much as Bojan paid attention to his looks, he never took this long.
"I'll go check," Jan said, getting to his feet.
Jan felt slightly guilty, over how little he talked to Bojan outside of the practice in recent weeks. Being caught up in the whole soulmate dilemma, he didn't take the time to pay as much attention to his friends.
Well, that was another thing he could start fixing now.
He found Bojan in the changing room, completely dressed, but staring off through the window.
"Bojan? Is everything okay?"
Bojan flinched, as if woken up from a very deep sleep. He blinked at Jan, confused.
"Ah, yeah! Yeah, I was just a bit lost in thought. Did you guys wait for me for long?"
Jan stepped closer, putting his hand on Bojan's shoulder. Bojan leaned into the touch, breathing out slowly.
"Are you sure you are alright?"
"I-" Bojan bit his lip, his gaze jumping around the room almost frantically, never staying for long and completely avoiding Jan's face.
"I just...this is a lot. It feels enormous. And of course, of course I am happy we won. It just feels like we set a new course all of a sudden, if that makes sense. Like it feels like my life already changed."
Jan pulled him into a hug. Bojan took in a sharp breath and then relaxed, hugging him back. They just stayed like that for a moment.
"I know. It's terrifying but it's going to be okay. You have us, alright?"
Bojan's arms tightened around him for a bit.
"Yeah."
They were silent for a bit and Bojan already pulled away from the hug when Jan spoke again.
"I actually owe you an apology. With how I reacted when you brought up soulmates for all these years."
Bojan shrugged.
"It's fine. I figured it was a sensitive topic."
Jan shook his head.
"Yes but it's not an excuse. I am sorry, Bojan. You were allowed to be excited at prospect of meeting them without me putting you down for it."
He rubbed tips of his fingers against the nail of his thumb. Resisting the urge to mess it up more.
"I won't say I completely understand, even now with Nace. I still very much love being independent from him. But I am saying I understand more."
Bojan smiled, reminding Jan that if Nace was the light in darkness, Bojan was certain a sun, his rays bringing about a new day.
"Thank you for saying that. I am excited to meet her, one day. Whenever destiny decides we are ready."
Jan rolled his eyes, more for the dramatic effect than anything else. That was still extremely cheesy, but it was very on brand for Bojan.
"Sure, lover boy. Now, can we go before the rest of them freeze outside? It is December, y'know?"
Bojan laughed and grabbed his bag. He dramatically pointed to the door.
"To wherever destiny may lead us!"
Jan cracked a smile, unable to keep up the brooding persona.
"To whenever destiny may lead us," he repeated quietly.
Then he stepped over the threshold after Bojan and for the first time in many years he knew everything would be alright. As long as he had his family, soulmate included, by his side, everything would be alright.
No matter the challenges that awaited them.

Dimensional Sum Theory
So (i) and subsequently increased root(i) derivatives are multiple dimensional values; which means they can be represented as an array or a set.
We use formulas like {y=mx+b} to represent the plot of a straight line in two dimensional geometry--However; that same value could be written as {p=x+i[mx+b]}. Where p is the summation of the set {x,y}
Since axis y is perpendicular axis x--In relation to x; y has the (sign) i. Conversely, x has the sign (i³) in relation to y. Because i² is a negative. Alternatively; we could divide y by (i) to rotate back to the x-axis.
This means that when we have an equation with multiple variants of root(-)--such as: p=x + iy + root(i)z; we can *also* represent it as p={x,y,z}.
And *that* means we have a way to represent complex "imaginary" equations in a way that is more readily accessible and easier to comprehend than trying to represent multiple dimensions as a singular sum value.
The "Sum" part means that the point{x,y} can be represented as a straight line between {x,y} and {y,y} because we care about the x value as "real", but the y value only as "perpendicular" to x.
What we do with the y value is the question.

Origami Math
There is an old technique I learned from an art teacher who was teaching proportionality on a canvas. He drew a rough square, then made a couple diagonals. Then he divided the square into half with a vertical line and drew all possible diagonals in them. It's a rough proof, especially when you consider that the lines are drawn by hand, but it still works for people trying to find thirds.
Years later, I found the same process outlined in more than one of my origami books from my childhood. I guess I was too busy looking at the diagrams to read the text.
The idea of finding divisions of a unit square is a compelling and useful pursuit. Some people guess, which can have surprising accuracy. Some people use a ruler, which also works. What I'd like to do is write a proof and create a process from that proof that can find any division, just by using origami.
The Math
For starters, the math is slope intercept form to find two functions and set them equal to each other.
If you extrapolate the above diagram, you can convert this to a function f(x) = mx +b, where f1(x) = (1/2)x and f2(x) = -x +1
f1(x) has a y-intercept of 0 and a slope of +(1/2)
f2(x) has a y-intercept of +1 and a slope of -1
f1(x) = (1/2)x
f2(x) = -x +1
Set the two formulas equal to each other and then solve for x.
x/2 = -x+1
(mul 2 on both sides), x = -2x + 2
(add 2x on both sides), 3x = 2
(div 3 on both sides), x = 2/3
Folding the left edge of the paper to the 2/3 mark will create a 1/3 crease in the unit square. You can also fold through the mark and when you plug this back in to solve for y, you find that it works both ways forming a 3x3 grid in the paper.
You can use 1/4 divisions of the unit square as a guideline to fold a diagonal with a slope of +(1/4), like this
Creating functions for the diagonals like we did before, you get:
f1(x) = (1/4)x
f2(x) = -x +1
Set them equal to solve for x.
x/4 = -x+1
(mul 4 on both sides), x = -4x + 4
(add 4x on both sides), 5x = 4
(div 5 on both sides), x = 4/5
Folding the left edge of the paper to the 4/5 mark will create a 2/5 crease in the unit square. Because there are eight creases to make a 5x5 grid, using the intersection as a guideline only, you will get 1/5 and 2/5 in both directions and then you will need to divide your 2/5 sections in half.
What may not be evident is that since quartering the paper is folding edge to edge to make even divisions for a power of 2, that there is another division of quarters that will also intersect the diagonal, but this time it intersects giving a different fractional part of the unit square. f(x) = (3/4)x. Set this equal to our unit diagonal and you get this:
3x/4 = -x+1
(mul 4 on both sides), 3x = -4x + 4
(add 4x on both sides), 7x = 4
(div 7 on both sides), x = 4/7
Since f(x) = (2/4)x reduces down to x/2, you don't need to repeat this one because we've already proved that it will divide the unit square into thirds.
If you study the sequence of formulas that we solved, you may see that a pattern emerges.
Our first set of formulas started with slope 1/2 and solved for 2/3
The second set of formulas used slope 1/4 and solved for 4/5
The last set of formulas had slope 3/4 and solved for 4/7
In each case, the new division of the unit square that we found, borrows the denominator from the guideline folds and places this in the numerator. Then it adds the numerator to the denominator to find the new denominator.
One can also state that all divisions less than 2 to the power of n has at least one guideline that can be calculated. So for 2^3, which is 8, you can find 1/7, 1/5, 1/3 and you don't have to find 1/6 because you can make that by starting with 1/3 and dividing by 2. You don't need to find 1/4 because it is a power of 2 and you don't have to solve for 1/1 because that is the unit square.
diagonals of long rectangles will intersect the unit diagonal
1/8 finds 8/9
2/8 (1/4) finds 4/5
3/8 finds 8/11
4/8 (1/2) finds 2/3
5/8 finds 8/13
6/8 (3/4) finds 4/7
7/8 finds 8/15
Going through this motley list of fractions, every denominator less than 2^4 can be seen except for 14, 12, 10, 8, 6, 4, 2, 1
We've already addresses most of these but let's explain
1/14 can be found by dividing 4/7
1/12 can be found by dividing 1/6
1/10 can be found by dividing 4/5
1/8 can be found by dividing 1/4
1/6 can be found by dividing 2/3
1/4 can be found by dividing 1/2
1/1 is the unit square.

8:11 anon here again. Wow. W o w. Brain empty but just. Wow.
Went through all the endings and then had to go back to Arrival Point S to cope with all the other ones. And, as expected, the first ending and S destroyed me. Cried at least two times. My god. It's been a while since media made me cry, and I certainly didn't expect to get so emotionally invested in CoE.
However! I have questions!! Spoiler-y ones? If you don't mind, of course. Sorry if it's a lot?? I'm definitely going to re-watch everything again to connect whatever is left.
First off: is there a "canon" ending? Surely S is what everyone wishes to be canon (although E is pretty good too, in its own way, definitely wouldn't want it to be canon, though) but is there a defined one by the developers? Actually, what even is the first ending gotten before S?
Second: what triggers change the endings? I figure that for deaths it's mostly a matter of wasting time, which is really neat and genuinely puts urgency into the situation.
Connected to that, what's the blue-colored person speaking at the end of most endings? The one who "guides" the player on what they missed to try again?
Third: honestly what (and who) the hell is Kanou. Man shows up as quickly as he dies, reappears in like two endings, commits suicide in both. Is he just the local cryptid? A doll? There's something going on with him, between the Told You So death, the text about murdering coworkers at a previous lab, and his corpse disappearing (and, in specific endings, showing up as...human? Dialogue specifies that)
Fourth: you mention the DLC, but also Hermits Room and Interlude, however I don't see them in the playlist? Do they have to be played specifically as there's no uploads?
Fifth: wow Utsugi is so incredibly fruity. My god that guy is gay, good for him, good for him. That's not a question just need to state it. Also Sanemitsu being emotionally not there ever and Atou threatening him every five seconds. Peak dynamic, love them all so much. Shinano being happy. S ending my beloved
Sixth: I heard something about a...cipher? An art book cipher? Or an ARG? Idk but if you're willing to explain.
That's...it? Surely I have more questions but these are the main ones I can think of now. Again, sorry if this is a lot???
And!! Enjoy 8:11 whenever you get the time for it!! It was so fun to play and mind-boggling.
CONGRATS ON FINISHING AAAA!! i'll answer all these in order!! let me know if you need clarification on anything <3
Yes, there is a 'Canon' Ending'. S+ is considered the canonical ending! This actually answers the other part of this question: the Ch 8 Arrival point S goes through S (Future), which directly leads into S+ (Empyrean Point). The two endings are connected, and S needs to happen in order to achieve S+! OH ALSO. THERE ARE POST-S CHANGES, which i will put under the cut bc I have collected them <3 These technically happen in S+, but we don't see them bc we only check back in when Atou is in ch 8 already. The DLC (Records of Sanemitsu Isoi) takes place almost exactly 3 years after S+. (These are shown in the playlist after the Ch 4, 6, and 7 extras <3).
ENDING FLAGS: Fun bonus fact: the purple text will tell you what you missed, and this changes based on what you did wrong! S Root: get all the info, don't let anyone die. A Root: keep everyone alive but don't get all the info. Ensure that you have charged Shinano's Phone B Root: everyone alive but Shinano's phone was not charged or unlocked. C Root: Succeed in saving Yanagi. Fail in Saving Karen D Root: Succeed in Saving Karen. Fail in saving Yanagi E Root: EVERYONE DIES!! YIPPEEE Mx. Purple Text is something that you'll learn about in the DLC, so I'll RAFO you for now (Read and find out). It is purple specifically! (though i also made that interpeted it as blue at first sdajkldsjkal)
Kanou Flag: in Chapter Four, you can read Yuusuke Aiba's Journal without Kanou (this is shown in the extras for chapter 4). This starts the kanou flag. This is what triggers a couple of small changes surrounding Kanou (the quick flash of him in ch 6 comes to mind) and grants access to the kanou elevator scene. TLDR Kanou was infected with cells, which let him live a little longer, but not enough to grant abilities. They talk about dying as a 'human' because if he lives longer, his cells will morb and he'll become a doll or a creature. He also gives us a Note that says something like 'live for me'. This note gives us a buff during the origin beta boss fight (his "curse" protects atou <3)
The first Five records of the DLC (+ the intro) are in the playlist! for anything beyond that point, contact me here, on discord (@ ariapmdeol), or on twitter (@ AriaPMDEoL ) and I'll help you!
UTSUGI FOREVERRR HE'S SO. he makes me so emotional i love you noriyuki utsugi. Sanemitsu my darling my beloved he is trying but he also sucks so much <333 i love him. The Reiji-Sanemitsu-Haruki family means so much to me. they make me emotional UEEEE. S and S+ make me explode,,
YES there are ciphers!! there's an official artbook for COE (which unfortunately isn't being sold right now orz orz) Which has a few ciphers in it! The one that i was looking at is HORRIFICALLY warped (i genuinely don't think we were actually meant to solve it LMAO) but I solved it and a friend was kind enough to translate it for us! There is also a Cipher in DLC, and a few others in the DLC 2020 credits! I have solutions to all of those as well. It's less 'ARG' and more "here's some information hidden behind a cipher." They're not REQUIRED reading but they help a lot with theorizing, and I've been finding it to be a lot of fun :D
I CANNOT WAIT TO PLAY 8:11 I AM VERY EXCITED HEHEHE
OK POST S CHANGES ( you'll have seen one of these before). These are sorted by chapter. DON'T WORRY IF THESE DON'T MAKE SENSE TO YOU YET.
CHAPTER 1.
"You want to forget the rat without a head" has been changed from Red to Purple.
CHAPTER 4.
There is an Item on the floor in chapter 4 (the room that you have to walk through in order to get to Aiba's journal) which reads "Zero Does not Exist".
Chapter 6:
This document has been replaced, the first time you look at it, by a document by CODE:DANTE. This one is a little long so you can DM me and I'll grab it for you!
Chapter 7:
ok so. this is shown in A root but it's not an A root thing, it's a Post S root thing (it's because of how the YT translator got their endings, dw abt it). All mentions of Seodore Riddle have been removed
This text has changed (both in normal vision and in Vision shift. it reads:[normal vision text] 'This is not the start of a nightmare but the end of a peaceful dream' and 'but what will you see when you wake' is added post S. [purple text] 'Aare you enjoying this divine comedy?' with 'i'm glad, you've enjoyed the love of god' added post S.
