I really wish people would look up what ‘death of the author’ actually means. Trust me, it does not mean turning a blind eye to someone using their vast wealth and popularity to actively hurt trans people or spread misinformation about the Holocaust.

This is your early morning PSA to support artists. And I don’t mean only monetarily. I mean reblog shit. Ramble in the tags how much you like it if so compelled. But artists will only continue posting while there is support.

And I want to make it entirely clear that I do mean post. Because what is gonna happen is that they will continue to create, but it will just be shown to their friends that they made within the community. If you want to continue to see things from an artist, tell them as much. We have seen fandoms and communities die, because there was no more support for the artists that are the backbone for them.

Reblog your favorite fanfics. Reblog your favorite artists. Write them a nice comment. Tell them how you like their art style or how they write a certain character. Artists will continue to create because we continue to enjoy it. We continue share it because we want to spread something we’re proud of and we think others will to.

I’ve seen too many of my artist friends recently saying it’s not worth it to post anymore because there’s no point. No one acknowledges it. Yet I continue to see it before they post and support them. So they privatize their audience.

Support artists if you want them to stick around. For fuck’s sake.

A ship that constantly gets interrupted, & doesn’t get a closure conversation, will never be “over”, by the way. Kitty’s confession was interrupted, their first kiss was interrupted, the letter was interrupted. This is done intentionally, because Kittyuri is a slow burn romance. They’re not doing this, because Kittyuri aren’t important. Honestly, they’re one of the most important dynamics in the show. Kitty and Minho leaving together does not mean they are endgame, the endgames are not decided. But Gia Kim confirmed Yuri has feelings for Kitty, and the show runner said the love triangle is never really over. I’m tired of people constantly invalidating Kittyuri as a ship, and trying to gaslight the shippers that they’re done and we should stop talking about them. When’s the reality is, is that they’re not done and the show is pointing more towards their endgame than anything else. 🤷🏻‍♀️ people just need to focus on their ship, and let people do the same.

I love getting diagnosed with AMPS which is essentially the Pediatric version of “bro is in way more pain than normal but we don’t wanna give them the like actual diagnosis for said pain. We wanna let them simmer and suffer a bit more. Character growth and all that”.

Like dog, I am freshly 18, give me the fibromyalgia diagnosis and never see me again. Rheumatologist’s in peds can suck my dick, why are they so useless. He refused to believe that I’m in as much pain as I am. He told me my brain is just tricking me into thinking I’m in pain and I should expose myself to painful sensations to retrain it. Brother… I will not be doing the chronic pain version of ABA therapy. I’m also, get this, TOO OLD FOR THAT SORT OF TREATMENT. IM TOO OLD FOR THAT TO EVEN BE A PROBLEM NOW.
