One of my favorite things about five is that in the first episode he’s shown as this cocky motherfucker who has his shit together. He’s on a mission. He gets shit done. He can kill a room of mercenaries with nothing but a butter knife and a smirk.

Sketches pre-ink :). The MC is a Yamana woman, and historically the Yamana didn’t wear a lot of clothes, especially not while swimming. Instead, they used animal fats on their skin to keep warm in cold conditions. I wanted to be accurate to the time period but also, this was meant to end up in a kid’s book and on tumblr. Aka two places where people get weird about female-presenting nipples. Hence the strategic fish.
