    There truly is so much regret all around him— he sees it in every cracked wall, every tired gaze that follows him as he stumbles down the street, every barely-formed word that comes out of his mouth— and Henry lets himself bathe in it. He simply lets himself cry for the umpteenth time, Gabriel’s memory wrapping around him like a thick blanket crafted entirely from the threads of his mourning.

    It hurts, it really does. It stings and it rips and it hurts, the knowledge that he’ll never see that smile again, never feel a reassuring hand on his shoulder, never hear Gabriel’s chipper voice greeting him good morning as he sleepily makes his way into the dining hall for breakfast. he’ll never get to tell that fire-headed nuisance how he felt, how he made Henry smile and laugh and ache, how he charmed him and his soul so completely.

    He will never know how much he loved— no, Gabriel deserves better than past tense. He will never know how much Henry loves him.

    It hurts, more than anything he’s ever felt, more than the weight of his dreams failing and more than any other grief he’s experienced in his life, and he doesn’t know how to push it away.

    He loves Gabriel, with his heart and soul, and now, he’s gone.

It was a day like any other when Jasper walked into Doctor Jekyll -Henry's office. Birds were singing, flowers were blooming, and Sinnet blew something up for the second time that day.

The were-boy had been hanging out in Rachel’s kitchen, dangling his legs and trying to look interested in what the day-manager was saying.

“-and that's the last time I let those two ‘help out’! I mean honestly you’d think they were children but I’d think even children would know not to use the same gloves for dishes you use to carry hazardous materials around!” she huffed, chopping some veggies with a bit too much force.

Jasper wasn't quite as sure but knew better than to disagree with someone holding a large knife.

“And on top of all the new dishes we need to buy I still need Doctor Jay to approve this week's meal plan, in case that wretch Frankenstein has any dietary restrictions, Ooh if I could get my hands on her-”

At this Jasper straightened up, his ears perking. “I could ask him if you need!”

It wasn't that he didn't like Rachel, or her stories, but it always felt awkward to be in a room with someone and not be working. Especially when they were. If she wouldn't let him help cook then he could certainly run a small errand or two! And admittedly he wouldn't mind an escape from her tirades…he still liked her though! (Not like-like, well, yes like-like but not not like-like)

She looked back, blinking. “Oh? If you're sure. You don't have to if you're tired, I know I couldn't sleep in the same room as all those creatures of yours.”

“Ha, I grew up on a farm miss Rachel, at this point I doubt I could sleep without them. And just one list won’t take long!” he begged.

She considered it for a moment, looking a bit put-out. “Hrmm. Fine, I can't say no to those puppy-dog-eyes. But you need to repeat exactly what I say, got it?”

Jasper grinned and nodded rapidly.

He walked in without knocking. A stupid mistake in hindsight. He knew better than most how important privacy could be to a person, but while juggling the list of ingredients Rachel told him and their expected costs it just slipped his mind.

To say he was startled would be an understatement.

Jasper pushed open the heavy wood door to see Edward Hyde. He'd heard all about the man from Rachel and the other lodgers. A wild and intense party guy who didn't fit well with the society's image, leading many to speculate on why Jekyll hired him in the first place.

Some speculations were a bit more… scandalous than others, while some claimed they absolutely hated each other. He didn't really believe them all, nor did he want to think about his boss that way thank-you-very-much, but it did make him curious to meet the so-called ‘spirit of London at night’.

True to the stories he had bushy straw hair and bright green eyes, and of course a small pair of golden wings sprouting from his back. Bird-like and alive.

And Henry Jekyll stood over them with the largest pair of scissors Jasper had ever seen.

For a moment time seemed to slow down, Jekyll lowered the scissors, big things made of heavy metal, to the base of one of Hyde's wings.

Jasper had never seen the wings before, (a warbler maybe? Or some kind of parrot? he felt numb), as he'd never met the man they were attached to, but he'd seen feathers lying around the society. Even been shown some Rachel had secretly held on to. And the fluffy gold feathers matched the wings before him.

But all he could see was red.

Without a thought he lunged forward snarling with a force he hadn't known he was capable of. Eyes locked on the man who saved him from being arrested, he could practically feel his fur emerging, begging his nails to grow into claws.

Nothing happened as Jekyll snapped his eyes up at the growl, just now realizing he was there. The were-boy pushed forward regardless, he was stronger than the doctor. With or without a transformation.

A shout, his vision was cut off by a blur of yellow. Real claws in the form of dark talons swiped at his face.

He clashed with the man-bird-guy. Feeling a bit bad about it, he shoved him to the side to get to Jekyll. Or tried to. Edward Hyde held onto his arm like a lifeline, kicking what he could and even swiping at the boy's hair.

Jasper held off the black talons, and a gold wing that smacked him repeatedly on the head. The assistant was surprisingly strong for being so small. His hat went flying and his shaggy hair danced in his eyes in the small gusts.

Panicked arms cast out for something to grab onto. As bad as it felt to do Jasper grabbed Hyde’s other wing and pulled. The cryptozoologist knew birds’ wings were often stronger than they looked, and was experiencing it firsthand. He muttered something adjacent to an apology as he swung both himself and the avian around. Wincing at his cry of pain and cussing.

Once more throwing the man off he darts forward and lunges at the frozen doctor. Talons pull him back by his sweater to start the fight anew.

After some more tousling Jasper is pulled from the opposite direction, the were-boy yanked by his shirt collar. Away from Hyde who simply hisses and raises a wing in warning instead of following.

Jasper realized he couldn't see Jekyll behind Hyde anymore, and chanced a glance away to look behind himself. Of course, there was only one person it could be.

“How could you?!?” he howled, struggling in his grasp. He could barely believe this was happening, even if Henry didn't like Hyde, like the lodgers said, he wouldn't do something like this would he? What could the man possibly have done to deserve his wings being taken away?

“How could- what?! Mr. Kaylock I demand to know why you felt the need to attack my assistant!”

Hyde hopped back and landed in a crouch on the large desk behind him. “Yeah, I haven't even threatened you with the shovel talk yet!”

“You were trying to cut his wings off, I saw you!”

Jekyll's eyes went wide and brows creased with concern. The hand holding him fumbled and loosened. “What? I would never!”

As the boy whipped around, he paused, “Wait… you weren't?”

“Of course not! Goodness is that what you were so worked up about?” Jekyll sighed, running a hand through his brown (auburn?) locks. “Edward’s wing was snared. I was trying to untangle it.”

Jasper blinked, “You were?” For the first time he looked closely at Hyde's wing, the one that hadn't extended properly the whole fight, the one that wasn't currently being held up in a defensive position with the other.

There, wrapped tightly around the feathered appendage, was a thin wire. Jumbled up and twisted around like a cat stuck in yarn. He watched in shock for a moment as the wing twitched against the cord, pushing uncomfortably against the metal web.

The man himself looked equally as uncomfortable, and maybe a bit embarrassed.

“You see, Mr. Hyde got himself tangled in a clothing wire during his excursion, god knows how, and I was simply removing it from his wing.”

“Did not! It was a fight I tell you! With some very bad guys!” Hyde cried, waving his arms around. His free wing puffing up in protest.

Jekyll rolled his eyes, “Ah yes, a fight, my apologies.”

Jasper felt himself calming down, heart still racing but slower now. “Oh…I, yeah that makes more sense, ha… But-but wait, the scissors?”

It seemed to be Jekyll’s turn to look sheepish, “Well, I figured there was no pressing need to return it. I tried to undo it myself but it’s quite stuck on there. Not to mention Edward’s notorious for not sitting still.”

Jasper thinks about this, slowly relaxing his stance. Hyde watches him skeptically, lowering his wing in turn.

Suddenly Jasper’s shoulders slumped as low as they can, a sigh of air exiting with a whoosh. “Thank goodness. I don't know what I’d do if that were me. If I had wings and had to lose them like that. It’d be like cutting off my tail.”

Hyde snickered, “Didn’t know you cared so much about little ol’ me.”

He looked up immediately, “Of course! I mean, not you specifically, but, no one should have to lose parts of themself like that. Even if you don't like it, it's still part of you. It still IS you. And cutting it out or hiding it is like hiding part of yourself. If you got rid of your wings you wouldn't be the same you anymore.”

Something in Henry’s eyes softened.

“I must say Jasper I’m quite impressed with your resolve, it’s nice to know you wouldn't hesitate to stop someone you thought was causing harm. Even if it happened to be me!” Henry smiled, something almost like pride in his eyes.

“Ha, um, well,” Jasper blushed at the praise, rubbing the back of his head. “It’s nothing really, I…I…” Jasper froze dead, eyes wide as he realized what just happened. “I JUST TRIED TO ATTACK YOU OH MY GOSH I'M SO SORRY!!!!!!”

Later on Jasper has to embarrassedly explain what happened to Rachel, then, even more embarrassingly go back and give Henry the list XD

You're out of your mind if you think Rachel wouldn't throw hands with Frankenstein. Unlike the others she didn't grow up reading about and looking up to her; and if you think she's gonna stand for some ungrateful house guest punching her friend unprovoked you've got another thing coming. That being said, she wouldn't want to trigger any allergies on accident or go against any religion-related food preferences. Though mostly it’s in case it interferes w her medicine.

Fun fact the scissors Jekyll’s holding here are the ones in the sketch where he's cutting Edward's hair. They're just so big why did he use those ToT

if you decide to do luke & cherry blurbs, i love me some angst but i know you said you’re including angst in the actual storyline lol, but i really love the sweet domestic moments like when they take naps on her couch tg or she gives him head scratches so i’d love more wholesome stuff too that captures just how hard they are falling in love, although i love reading the smut it’s nice to also see the sweet side of their relationship 🫶🏼

“I don’t get it.”

You turned your attention away from the TV screen and towards the boy that was currently sprawled on top of you. 

“You don’t get what?” 

“This doppelgänger stuff,” Luke muttered, his cheek pressed against your stomach and his arms wrapped around your thighs. “So, there’s two of them now? Does everyone get a doppelgänger? Do we have to deal with two Jeremy’s?” 

You snorted, raising your hand to gently push through his curls. “No. Well, Stefan has a doppelgänger too but you don’t see him until, like, season five or something.” 

“Huh,” Luke hummed. “Who knew being a vampire brought so much drama.” 

“This is only season two, it gets so much worse,” you told the boy, watching with amusement as his head snapped up to look at you. 

“Worse? How can it get worse? She’s almost died every episode!” Luke scoffed, the episode now paused and his chin pressing against your lower stomach as he looked up at you like a lost puppy.

“It’s The Vampire Diaries, Luke, that’s the whole point of the show,” you snorted. “They cry. They die. Some come back to life. Some don’t. And you have to have that one character you despise no matter what even if they are liked by everyone else.” 

Luke nodded, looking oddly serious. “Jeremy Gilbert.” 

“And you get to meet the love of my life,” you added, lighthearted and playful and so unaware of the way the boy tensed on top of you. 

“Who?” 

You let out a wistful sigh. “Klaus Mikaelson.” 

“Klaus,” he repeated with a blink. “Like Santa Claus?” 

“Not Claus, Klaus,” you corrected, rolling your eyes. “He’s the best character in this show, just you wait and see. You’ll love him.” 

Luke laid his head back down on your stomach, a frown on his lips. “I’m sure I will.” 

“Don’t get jealous,” you mused, your nails scratching across his scalp. “I wouldn’t give Klaus head scratches and let him squish me for three episodes straight.”

“You’re comfy,” Luke huffed in response, nuzzling himself further against your stomach.

“And I guess you’re a pretty good blanket,” you teased lightly. “Save me a bunch on heating too.” 

Luke didn’t bother trying to hide his smile. “M’not that warm.” 

“You’re a fucking furnance, Hughes,” you retorted. 

“But you love it,” he snapped back. 

Your lips twitched. “Yeah, I guess I do.” 

Luke didn’t bother hiding the smile that took over his face. “Bet Klaus isn’t a furnace.” 

You snorted. “Drop it, Luke!”

oh my god im dying to know what you wrote for bokami!!

Ah! thanks for asking! <3 I don’t have much, mainly just vague plot ideas and lil bits of dialogue. 

Akami went to Nohebi high school - hehe snek school, Where she played volleyball. Tho she and Bokuto don’t officially meet until their sophomore year of College. Bokuto and Kuroo are college roommates + vball teammates. Kuroo and Akami also have a couple classes tg. Bokuto's trying very hard to get though her cynicism and trust issues. And she finds him and his cringe-fail optimism and thoughtfulness very endearing.  ~I have this lil scene and then some more blabby- plot stuff under the cut

Bokuto cannot help himself, he’s darting around the court like his life depends on it and calling after every ball. A kill, two digs, service ace after service ace. Everytime he so much as touches the ball he glances to the stands, to where Akami is sitting. He needs to make sure she’s watching. This is the first time she’s been able to come and see him, even if it is just practice. He scrambles out of bounds to keep the shanked ball in play.  “Take it easy”, Coach calls. But Bokuto can’t help it. It’s like he’s got the zoomies.   Another kill, straight shot, down the line, three blockers, no touch. He’s amped up. “Nice kill,” Semi cheers. As he goes up to serve.   Bokuto glances over at Akami, she’d brought her homework with her, case files spread out on the bleachers. She’s leaning on her civil procedure textbook, watching him watch her. She gives him a small thumbs up of approval as he continues to stare at her, like he’d been doing all day. He gives one back, smiles big with all his teeth. It is only then that he turns his attention back to the game, the game that had continued despite his own personal pause. The ball is spiked by his teammate directly into Bokuto’s face. The gymnasium rings out in a chorus of “ooohs.” The whistle sounds, giving the other side a point and ending the rally. Bokuto is doing his very best to play it off like it didn’t hurt and that he’s perfectly fine despite the nosebleed and the ‘Mikasa’ logo imprinted on the side of his face.  “You okay?” Akami asks, cringing at the blood on his t-shirt as he sinks down on the bleachers in the row in front of her. “I’m fine- I’m great!” He says, pinching his nose. Akami closes her textbook, “You don’t look so great.”  They both turn their attention back to the game. “You know, I have a lot of homework, maybe I should finish up at the library.”  “No, no you don’t have to go.” He scrambles. “I’ll be back in in no time!”  “I don’t want to distract you,” she says  “Oh , what, no you’re not distracting me!” “This-” he gestures to his nose, “this is nothing, don’t worry about it, it happens all the time.”  Akami raises her brow, doing her best not to laugh. “You get hit in the face all the time?”  “Yeah--No! I mean…uhh,” He sighs to himself, tipping his head back in defeat, “I’m shutting up now.” He has completely and utterly embarrassed himself in front of her, yet again. He sinks back into the small space between the bleachers, hoping that the universe will take pity on him and open up a crater in the earth to swallow him whole. Or at the very least let him hide beneath the stands.     Akami chuckles beneath her breath and scoots down to the bleacher seat beside him. “Here”, she says, handing him a few napkins she scrounged up from her bag. "and you should tip your head forward." Bokuto perks up immediately, smiling through his embarrassment and thanking her, as if she handed him a gold medal and not some crumpled up old napkins from the dining hall. She rests her chin in her hand, while he takes her advice and stares at his sneakers, nose pinched with the napkins rambling excitedly about how he's been working on back row attacks. Akami can't help it, she smiles back, hiding her grin in her palm. **

— I’m sorry but I can’t have story without some level of angst lol. They date for almost two years, and as they’re getting ready to go into their senior year of College Bokuto gets drafted in the V league. He decides to surprise her with the news, which totally backfires. Akami takes it as a slight, in that he doesn’t consider her in his future. She low-key waits for him to ask her to move with him, but he doesn’t because he doesn’t want her to uproot her life and opportunities for him. She stays in Tokyo, finishing school and working an internship at a law firm, he moves to Osaka. They break up.

Three years go by. They run into each other at hotel. She’s there for the work, he’s there for a game. They decide to try being friends again, because they miss having each other in their lives. She goes to his games when she can or they meet up when he’s nearby or vice versa. She has to go to Osaka for work, he offers—insists— she stay with him so he can show her around the city. She doesn’t have the heart to tell him no, even though she’d been to the city many times. Staying just friends doesn’t last they hookup her last night there, he tells her he still loves her, etc, etc. And they try doing the long distance thing. I haven’t exactly figured out how to keep them tg yet, without one of them having to give up their job, but I am working on it. Okay big ramble over lol ! thanks for asking! 1. How many works do you have on AO3?

32, most of which are Doctor Who!

2. What's your total AO3 word count?

859,228!! (but it's gonna keep climbing until I finish posting part 6 of campervan sksk)

3. What fandoms do you write for?

Pretty much just Doctor Who right now, but I have posted fics for Stargate Universe, Marvel and The Greatest Showman. And then I have written for other fandoms - most notably Venom, which I never posted anything for but I did get 40k into a multichapter one time.

4. What are your top 5 fics by kudos?

In this order: Liminality, Tropospheric Disturbance, campervan part 1, watchfires and Renegades in the Ring (my TGS fic that I never finished, rip in pieces)

5. Do you respond to comments? Why or why not?

I always try and respond to comments!! Mostly because I love talking about my fics and also don't know when to shut up hahaha - but I also have some absolutely fantastic commenters who have such interesting things to say! And also like, idk I really appreciate people taking the time to comment, so I reckon it's polite to say thank you at least. The only time I don't reply to comments, mostly, is if it's a REALLY long comment and I just don't have the energy rip (but when that happens I definitely read and cherish the comment dearly haha)

6. What's the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?

Uhhhhhhhhhhhhh. MOST OF THEM RIP. I'm genuinely not sure because I always try and end my fics on a vaguely uplifting note. Maybe Campervan Part 4, simply because of all the uni-era angst? But tbh the ending of Part 6 is definitely a contender, now I think about it. Canon-fic wise, though.......hmm I think it's got to be notches in your spine, since that ends with the Doctor just straight up leaving the Master without warning sksksk

7. What's the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?

Hm. I think I'm gonna go with In the Wind for this one, which is hilarious since I wrote it THREE YEARS AGO, but it's a multi-chapter mid-series adventure that rounds itself off in a satisfying way, with everything being resolved nicely, so I think that's a decent contender!

8. Do you get hate on fics?

Hm, no, other than people complaining about the show in an attempt to compliment my writing, but that's stopped for the most part since I got annoyed about it in my author's notes one time ksksks. I did get a weird comment recently that started out very complimentary but then turned really weird in a pretty upsetting way (and, frankly, it would have been very triggering if that sort of topic had been something that was something that affected me a lot? Luckily it wasn't, but the commenter did NOT know that). So I just deleted the comment because I didn't want that sort of thing in my comment section, especially when I know other readers comment lurk.

9. Do you write smut? If so, what kind?

No I'm sex-repulsed lol

10. Do you write crossovers? What's the craziest one you've written?

I wrote a crossover that was The Greatest Showman crossed with the X-Men Comics one time SKSKSKSKSK (and it was specifically the comics not the films, I did so much research on historical terminology for mutants HAHA) which was actually SO much fun - I never finished it, but I do think back on it very fondly. But I'd class that as more of an 'x-men au' rather than a crossover tbh, bc it was wholly focused on the TGS characters.

11. Have you ever had a fic stolen?

Not to my knowledge!

12. Have you ever had a fic translated?

I don't believe so

13. Have you ever co-written a fic before?

Yes! We never finished it LOL

14. What's your all-time favourite ship?

Currently spydoc, but this will probably change. I have a MASSIVE soft spot for rush/young from sgu, clintasha from the MCU, newt/hermann from PacRim, and symbrock from Venom.

15. What's a WIP you want to finish, but doubt you ever will?

Hmmmm there's a bunch, but probably The Grandfather Paradox? I genuinely love that one so much. But who knows, maybe one day. I feel like it would make a great pitch for a Big Finish audio sksk. Oh, and Deathless will probably never happen. I'm not going to put Trestle on this list because I am SO DETERMINED to finish it some day HAHAH. Oh - and I don't think I'll ever finished Trouble With Entropy, which was my unfinished Venom fic, or Renegades (aforementioned TGS fic) even though I love them a lot, it's just....very unlikely at this point rip.

16. What are your writing strengths?

Going off what other people have said to me, I'm good at creative immersive worlds! Which is mostly because I really want my stories to feel 'lived in', so to speak, and broader than what you actually see in the immediate plot. I think I'm also pretty good at pacing, and also writing narrative prose with a character voice! The latter one I definitely pushed myself with when writing part 6 of campervan, as well as my recent doctormaster oneshot, where I had to weave together both the doctor AND the master's characterisation into one seamless pov

17. What are your writing weaknesses?

I definitely worry too much about making sure the reader DEFINITELY gets what I'm trying to say, and so sometimes I'm repetitive and I hammer things home a bit that can be more subtle. I also think that sometimes I can be a bit repetitive in my longer fics where I know a gap needs to be filled but I'm not sure with what sksksks. There are other things too. I definitely struggle writing shorter things and getting to the point and TRUSTING that the reader will come with me. I often feel this urge to make sure all the steps are there for the reader to follow where I want them to go.

18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language for a fic?

Oooh so I actually did this in campervan part 5 with Gabriela and Jamila speaking a bit of Portuguese! And I think there's like, obviously nuance to it, but when I had the pov characters who understood portuguese (namely Jamila in the prologue), I had the dialogue in portuguese, but the translation in the prose, either literally just next to the dialogue or explained in the narration by Jamila. But then in later chapters, when Yaz is trying to talk to Gabriela, because Gabriela is upset she's occasionally saying things in Portuguese....but Yaz doesn't understand them. So they don't get translated. And so I think that works for the story in that context, bc what Gabriela actually SAYS is less important and it's more showing the emotion of it. Another case I can think of was in Force Over Distance by cleanwhiteroom who wrote a LOT of ancient into the fic (which is basically latin) and when it was on ao3 there was this sort of 'hover to translate' thing which worked REALLY WELL, bc the translation was there but it didn't disrupt the flow of the fic.

19. First fandom you wrote for?

Okay so I wanna know what counts here - if it's like, the first fic i POSTED, then that's Marvel (specifically the Avengers). If it's the first fic I wrote when I actually understood what 'fandom' was, then...I think that was also Avengers....or maybe BBC Sherlock. If it's the first thing I actually WROTE DOWN properly, then it was Doctor Who (specifically Ten and Rose and my oc companion sksk). If it was the first thing I played with creatively for media that wasn't my own...then that was probably me coming up with elaborate ocs out of two unicorns on the credits for the My Little Pony vhs tape we had SKSKSKSK SO. I don't know. One or all of those.

20. Favourite fic you've ever written?

Oh this is hard because I'm proud of a lot of what I've written. My gut reaction at the moment is actually Trestle, even though it's unfinished and no one has read it HAHAH but I'm just so proud of some of the writing in that so far. And I'm extremely proud of Campervan AU as a whole entity. However I do really really love see me bare my teeth for you - which I actually forget about a LOT because it's not one of my thoschei fics sksksk. But I'm super proud of how that one turned out. And then also and they did live by watchfires because that one just has such a special place in my heart.

Well for TGS specific fics I recommend anything by Quilna on AO3, they are so good!

For Jekyll and Hyde in general I've read a couple of short and silly ones that don't go much into the angst aspect of things. I don't read a lot of fanfiction but I remember reading one over a year ago that was good... I'll have to see if I can find it again. If I do I'll rb this with the link to it! :)

This wasn't exactly what you asked, but I thought I'd mention that people who have read my stuff in general point out my use of off-the-wall metaphors/similes. If anyone enjoys my little flair in doing this, I highly recommend reading the works of Peter Beagle! I shamelessly stole the technique from him and made it my own. I recommend starting off with The Last Unicorn (it's a classic for a reason), but any of his older works share a similar style (A Fine and Private Place, Folk of the Air). I'm not sure that I would be a writer today without him.

Anyway...

-Fun fact: Akechi is easier for me to write than Yusuke. I, too, am very angry inside and probably just need a hug lol It's cathartic. Although, two years of studying art in college actually helps with writing Yusuke, because I don't need to look up art terms.

-In Aesopica, the ending was highly inspired by my favorite Tokyo Ghoul fic, in which Kaneki turns the tables on Tsukiyama in the end (huge content warnings for that TG fic btw). I loved how satisfying the circular nature of it was and wanted to try something similar. I knew the ending I wanted to create right from the first chapter.

I cannot remember how I came up with the fruit bowl to both mark the passing of time, and the decay of their relationship. But go past me for coming up with that! My 2017 brain was the real mvp.

This is also my longest fic and you will not see me write anything this long again lol I just don't have it in me. Shout out to long fic writers, I'll have some of whatever you're snacking on.

I also remember this being something of a vent fic. I was sad and wanted to my faves to be sad together. While I do enjoy supportive akekit, where they both grow together, I also love when they just make each other worse.

-Sliced Halves, Light Syrup, please imagine me in the grocery store staring blankly at a can of peaches while concocting an entire fic. Writers are very normal people.

This is also my second most popular akekit fic. Fluff sells, I guess. I prefer my darker stuff tbh!

-After Aesopica, my personal favorite of mine is Psychosomatic. I'm shy about my love of organ-fondling since it's not a common thing to be into (there's not even an official ao3 tag for it lol), so I'm grateful to the person on the kink meme for prompting this. Knowing someone else was interested allowed me to put myself out there and write it. I re-read it not long ago just for fun, and it holds up. It's the intimacy of literally touching the insides of someone, you know?

-I'm scrolling through my akekit fics now and wow! I do not remember some of these? Who wrote these while I wasn't looking??

-Kilroy Was Here was going to be serious angst about Akechi forcibly kissing Yusuke so that he would no longer trust him, because he feels like he doesn't deserve trust, blah, blah... But the idea of Yusuke annoying the crap out of him before they got to that point was so funny to me that I had to run with it. If anyone was wondering about my sense of humor, this fic is it. (I am not funny)

-Born to be Posthumous 69 kudos harr harr... I enjoy this one even if it wasn't as popular as some of my others. I remember being depressed and angry and wanting to take it out on Akechi.

This is getting long now, but it was fun! Thank you again! Hopefully this wasn't too far from you asked! Most of my scenes just come to me as I'm writing with a basic idea in mind, so I just toss them in as I go. A humble chef tossing anything she finds in the fridge right into the soup.

Now that I'm back from my writing hiatus I definitely plan to bring out more akekit when I can!

Too many. A Barisi soulmate au I was rewriting. Icemav flower shop/pilot au, the entirety of Hangster as Exes as Youngblood. The TG/FMAB au I started. There's more. I have like 130 fics in my docs and over half of those are WIPs, so.

16. What are your writing strengths?

I've been told I'm good at writing physical touches, and movements. And I like to think I'm alright at descriptions

17. What are your writing weaknesses?

I get way too wordy with those mentioned above. I ramble a lot. Dialogue scares me, especially in smut (I worry I'll be too corny/porno-sounding). I basically don't do outlines unless the idea I have is really long, and even then they tend to be pretty frail and bare-bones.

18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in fic?

I used to pretty frequently when I was writing Barisi, mostly pet names and stuff in Spanish. I no longer feel confident in writing other languages that I don't know, which limits me to English and describing ASL.

19. First fandom you wrote for?

Oh god. So it might have been Pokemon back when I was in elementary school. But I typically say Attack on Titan, the summer between 7th and 8th grade. I was friends with this one girl and would literally send, over Gmail, new chapters. I still have...most? of the writing in a doc and it is HORRENDOUS.

20. Favorite fic you’ve written?

It's not my best fic by any means, but I have a soft spot for I Hope We Make It (To The Other Side), which is a JATP fic that hit sooo many firsts for me. It was my first finished multi-chap fic, my first time plotting shit out. I think it was some of the longest writing I'd done at the time (my avg length of fic was like 2k and 3k for a long one). And I was SO PROUD of so many little things within it.

I also love Still Singin' Here Above The Ground, which is a RWRB fic that's pretty quiet but is just. Ugh. I'm really happy with how it turned out.

Hehe I’ll def have more Sae ideas - childhood friend Sae is amazing and the level of angst and misunderstanding is top tier.. but what about foreign team-intern for Sae, like a sports nurse in training?? Or a manager?

LOL I had this idea too where they wanted to take a documentary of the team (esp the u20 folks) and he gets assigned a new photographer who he hates because they have to follow them around and interview them. Maybe y/n could be a photographer as well and Sae wouldn’t show up to shoot orrr she could be another u20 athlete that had to take pix tg and they have issues - like promo work. .. So many ideas … we need a google doc to talk to share these or a discord I swear haha 😭🤣 so many opportunities for my fav boy!!!

Let's just say the 3 people who still like a certain ghoul filled show may enjoy. Also mlp lore rewrite brain going insano mode on this so expect a lot of rambly stuff for this au and how the revised stuff gonna work. It will be 80% fluff because I need that and no one is providing in this fandom (gotta do this shit myself smh) but there will be the usual TG faire angst especially in the start.

God it's been years since i last touched anything tokyo ghoul but when i remember the beginning of re- how exiting it was how kaneki survived but forgot everything, how we got to see the ccg from the inside, how we wondered what happened to the other characters and how interesting and promising the quinx were... This Love Left A Permanent Mark for real...

if i start to think abt what we could have had i have to stop myself from throwing things around. the time skip was so smart, i remember being so excited by haise as a character- he’s still one of my favorite things :re did lol- meeting the quinx/haise/arima and akira and that family dynamic!!!, tsukiyama’s whole humanization arc, juuzou maturing after the loss of shinohara, fucking. the delicious angst over what happened to seidou and amon???! and just even seeing ishida’s art style having improved so much since the beginning of tg… it really all was beautiful for a short incredible time :(

My thoughts: Literally I love them. The sexual tension (intentional or not) was fire. Their interactions were so juicy and if the writers had a shred of courage they would have kissed post-Dagger mission

What makes me happy about them: They get to be soft together!!

What makes me sad about them: They're probably going to have to deal with residual trauma from the dagger mission :(
