~Smoke break~
a shadowpeach ?angst? Fic + art<3 : art & writing by me. Hope you enjoy ~
tw: smoking+minor sh

Swk stood leaning against the railing, smooth smoke rolling off his lip.
It feels like century’s since he’s done this, He started this habit near the end of the journey to help with his stress, and he kinda tapered off of it after becoming somewhat of a hermit.
But history has the tendency to repeats itself now a days.
Thankfully it doesn’t really effect him ,medically, one of the many perk’s of being an immortal!

But It doesn’t not affect him.
It clouds his mind making him feel fuzzy, grounding him in the moment while making his problems blur into the background.

The moment? watching the city that holds the last remaining people who somehow care about him,
The water refracting the flickering Lights making a halo effect on the city.

But of course all good things come to an end,
“Ooo~ what do we have here~” it rung in his ear.
It was a degrading voice that ever since the day he met it love to remind him of every little mistake.
reminding him
Why he’s nothing.
And That no matter how hard he tried he’ll never be enough.
Even when the owner of the voice was gone
It still lingered-
Poking-
Prodding-
Crawling on his back-
It’s suffocating, like it’s holding him down.
…
“What would Mk think”

It was macaque-
“The great sage falling for mortal addictions, how disappointed would he be?~~”
He hummed with a teasing smile.
leaning over the railing trying to get wukong to look him in the eye.

But the king just leaned into his cigaret taking another drag.

He dropped his smile, disappointed.
“Why ARE you smoking” he was more accusatory this time
“You know it won’t help, RIGHT!”
The king Held his breath
“or are you doing this just to forget about your responsibil-“
Apparently smoking makes him even more impulsive too,

Because before he knew It he had macaque by the scarf with their lips pressed together. He letting out a shaky, and agonizingly slow breath out.
Letting The smoke that filled his lungs, fill macaque’s.
His eyes were closed but he could feel macaque lean in, he was trying to tease him, wukong figured.

When he pulled back the six-eared-macaque was wearing an unreadable face.
His eyebrows raised and nit together, eyes wide, pupils small, and mouth slightly agape letting smoke slip out.
He was surprised yet something else, wukong didn’t care to find out.

Breathing in “you can ether LEAVE or SHUT UP and have a smoke” Swk said gesturing to the pack of cigarettes. The pack had been resting on the railing, being the only company he had before macaque showed up, it only had two cigarettes left.
Wukong turned towards the city inspecting the one he already had, It was almost burned out.

He lifted it up, pressing it deep into his neck before twisting it. Making it Let out a sharp sizzle. In the corner of his eye he could’ve sworn he saw macaque flinch, But he knew better.
He closed his eyes and let out a slow sigh. Before tossing it into a nearby trash can.

He turned to grab another, but in one swift movement macaque grabbed the whole box.
Apparently he chose to stay.
While Giving him a glare. He stuffed the box into his pocket while lifting one of the cigarettes to his mouth .
Once his other hand was free it was lifted to the other end of the cigarette.
There was A flash of purple before it started smoking.

“You really are the worst mentor” it was macaque‘s favorite insult nowadays, a guaranteed fight. He just loved the attention didn’t he? But the monkey king just kept looking at the city. Even though Swk would never admit it, macaque was right.
that kid does deserve better
And He knows he isn’t Good enough, yet, but he would be damned if he didn’t try.
So he will become better, or die trying.

Sooo there’s this trend I’ve seen going around where it’s basically someone copying someone’s snaps, and then they basically just flex their muscles, and the person copying the other person is just RIPPED. I was wondering how that would go with the monkey kings, where they’re joking around with the reader and just asks them to flex, and it just turns out the reader is SUPER muscular
MAMA IS BUFF💪
(Lmk Wukong) I can see him flexing his muscles as a joke, especially when he's busy shouting and bragging to Mk. Though he would joke to you and also show off his good looks which you called him handsome on multiple occasions. You told him and Mk that you your own muscles as well, and of course Wukong asked you to show him, thinking your joining in on the fun. Until when you did you flexed your muscles so hard your sleeved ripped, cue Mk's blown mind and Wukong's jaw touching the floor. He also might be blushing and drooling very hard as he pushes Mk out the house so he can jump your bones🤤
(HIB Wukong) Man he would think the concept of flexing is stupid, and thinks it's purely for showing off.(Which is rich coming from him🙄) However Luier was on his motor mouth moments and asked Wukong if he still has his muscles, and of course he was against it. Though that's when you tell Luier that both you and Wukong have muscles, it's just not seen too often. Wukong, though, you were exaggerating and just telling Luier anything to keep him for bothering him, so he asked about it. That's when you sighed and showed your BULK Biceps ripping the sleeves slightly. Luier began fanboying and shooting questions at light speed. Meanwhile, blood shot out of Wukong's like a water fountain, mumbling as he had a physical breakdown.
(NR Wukong) I'm sorry but this man is a hyperactive bean pole, you would think that all the CENTURIES of battle he would have some kind of bulk but no. However he did share some stories with you and Li about when he was at his prime. You would laugh at his exaggerated muscle mass, and that's when Wukong challenged you to a flexing compilation. Though that quickly backfired Spantacularly when you flexed so hard you shredded a perfectly good jacket, your muscular body would ruin him beyond repair. you would have this man screaming from the roof YES MISTRESS! DESTROY MY SKINNY ASS! BREAK ME IN HALF LIKE A KIT KAT BAR!🥵 I don't know how somebody can get even more shameless.
(MKR Wukong) Oh this should be hilarious, I mean Wukong clearly doesn't need muscles to cave somebody's face in. Wukong would roll his eyes at the idea of flexing, and also thinks it's stupid. That's when you told him about your own muscles as you walked together on patrol, Wukong immediately thought you were messing with him. Their is no way you looking all pretty and Dainty could ever have muscles like that, However It didn't stop him from asking to see out of curiosity. I KID YOU NOT, but the second you flexed those perfect biceps, back and shoulder muscles boy did Wukong acend to a whole new plane of peace and love with his demon boner. You should probably take him to the doctor 😬
(Netflix Wukong) Oh god you don't want to absolutely destroy this little boy's self-confidence, which is why you kelp your muscles to yourself. Though let's face it he has spaghetti Ramen arms to the point where even his staff would have more muscle then him, but that's besides the point. Wukong would loudly and desperately show off his own muscles despite them looking like twigs, is when he challenged you to flex. Wukong asked if you have any muscles not expecting you to say yes, he also wasn't expecting you to have an entire body made of muscles what's really killing him is those big Juicy thighs muscles. You mean if my mommy gets mad at me enough she'll crush my head like a watermelon??? Wukong fell into true madness that day, mentally and Sexually.
(BMW Wukong) OHHHHHHHHH GOD NOOO UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES, CAN HE KNOW ABOUT YOUR MUSCLES because once he does it's over. Wukong would brag for hours and hours about his physical physique as he shows off to impress his dear wifey who is you. However, you didn't tell him about your own muscles mainly because you once felt insecure about them. You got a bit tired of him running your mouth, so you decided to show him your muscles, and boy, was that a game changer. You would have this man re-evaluating his life like you gave him a good crisis. You mean to tell him that this entire time you could have at any time absolutely break his back like an F*CKING GLOWSTICK...........but chose not to...his boner is soooooooo hard and Pulsing that he can't afford to wear pants right now.
(Destined one) Oh lord you would shock the poor baby into another layer of silence if you ever flash your muscles like that. The Destined one has no interest in flexing or in muscles, despite him being battle driven however I think it would peak his curiosity if he learned that you have muscles. The second he learned that you had one of those body builder muscles that can rip clothes off like tissue paper, he couldn't handle it. Im not kidding the Destined one Collapsed on the floor like he was having the most severe seizure of his immortal life. Next time he wants to see those muscles in actions in your shared bed at home😳
FEEL FREE TO REBLOG💪

"This isn't what I thought when you told me I needed to blend in…"
He hated to admit it, but he really was falling in love with you… hard.
"Don't be a hater," you chuckled softly, picking out colours that the tailor shop possessed.
"You look ridiculous," he stared at her with a blank look on his face.
"You're being a hater," you grinned at him. "For your information, I'm perfectly dressed for an outing of this… caliber," she looked at her reflection for a moment.
"Then the people responsible for this stupid party are ridiculous and moronic."
"You're such a downer… lighten up!" you shook him… well, tried to. Dude didn't even flinch a little or move an inch.
"I'm not letting you dress me up like an idiot,” he looked at her blankly.
"C'mon, monkey boy, please?" you pleaded. "You're a King! You'll be a hit!"
"Not in a good way," he folded his arms and continued to stare at you. Who was he kidding? He could never deny you anything, even if it had his dignity on the line.
"You're coming with me," she declared.
"Why should I?" he narrowed his eyes but curiously raised a brow.
“Please?” you looked at him with pleading eyes and an innocent grin.
Why does she always look at me like that whenever she wants something I'm against? He asked in annoyance.
You knew just what to do to make him give in. You'd never know he could never deny you anything if you ask him right. Especially when you talk and look at him like that.
“I'm getting you back for this,” he glared at you, but you were too busy walking around with the tailor to look for things to dress him up more.
He had to admit that having your undivided attention like this was a welcome reward for his obedience. He mostly enjoyed how you'd comb your fingers to smoothen his fur each time you ruffled it while helping him try on robes.
The whole reason for going to this gathering was strictly due to you being an invited guest of a dare friend of yours, and you didn't want to go alone. Unluckily for Wukong, it was conveniently held in a village your group stopped at on your journey to the West. The last thing he wanted to do was waste his time at some get-together, but the Monkey King had no choice.
Even his master wasn't on his side since the monk allowed him to accompany you, persuaded by your charm as well. Pigsy’s joke of you replacing him as Tang’s favourite didn't seem as absurd as it was at the time.
“Wukong!” you snapped, successfully getting his attention before he looked you over.
“Like I said, you look ridiculous,” he huffed and walked past you to look through the kimonos. “That thing makes you look pregnant.”
“You don't have to be so mean about it…” you pouted and rested a hand on your stomach.
“Here,” he offered a piece of fabric to you, which you took.
“Whoa, this is gorgeous, I've been looking for like an hour for something half this nice.” you looked at him with a smile. “See? I told you bringing you along would be a good idea.”
“When is this pointless party supposed to start?” he grumbled as he turned away from you.
“Just before dawn,” you informed him once more. “Promise to be on your best behaviour.”
“I'm always on my best behaviour,” he shot you a cocky grin, which made you roll your eyes with a smile. “I mean it.”
“Fine,”
“I wanna hear you say it,” you looked at him and folded your arms.
“I promise I'll be on my best behaviour.”
“This entire situation is giving me a headache,”
“Stop, we just got here,”
“I can't believe I let you talk me into this,” he kept out a breath and rolled his eyes.
“It'll be fun! I'm sure you haven't been to many gatherings,” you said, subconsciously holding his hand, which made his eyes slightly but looked away from you.
It'll keep her from running off and getting lost. He told himself in order to try getting whatever he had as a heart under control.
“Aren't you embarrassed to be seen with me like this?” he questioned without really thinking.
“No, why would I be embarrassed to be seen with you? You're an amazing person,” you smiled up at him.
He tensed and looked at you, not expecting you to say such a thing so effortlessly, confidently and genuinely. He was about to answer, but a feminine voice beat him to it, a voice you immediately recognised.
“Well well well,”
“Dammit,” Wukong looked at you when he heard you curse.
“If it isn't (Y/n) (L/n), it’s been a while,” the person said. Wukong looked at the women as you turned to face them.
“Daiyu, Chen, Ming,” you greeted the women, then looked at the man next to Daiyu and gritted your teeth, “Zhong.”
The blonde haired one you called Daiyu seemed to be the leader as the other two flanked her. She was a foot or two taller than him, her colour scheme consisted of pink and white while her dogs wore gray and dark colours to make their master stand out in comparison. Wukong knew her type well.
The one you called Ming was the shortest and didn't look like the sharpest tool in the bunch. The last, Chen, seemed like the basic loyal dog type. Blindly obeying her master Daiyu.
“I didn't expect to see you here,” Zhong eyed you. “You clean up nice.”
This ‘Zhong' bastard was the tallest, with short silver hair and silver eyes to match. He wore white, there was nothing particularly appealing to him, he was so bland.
This was her ex? What the hell could she possibly see in this tool? Wukong questioned as he looked at the taller man in scorn. Is it because he’s tall? It's so obvious that he’s nothing but a weakling with money.
You found it hard to breathe, yet you could hear your heartbeat pounding in your ears. You couldn't speak, only look away from Zhong, mumbling a bit.
“You know this punk?” Wukong’s voice brought you back to reality. Knowing that you weren't alone with those four helped you a lot.
“My ex,” her voice was soft.
“Oh, don't go around telling people that, you'll embarrass him,” Daiyu said and eyed Wukong. “You were a servant in the Celestial Realm last we heard. How fitting for you to be a servant girl.”
“To be serving the Immortal Ones directly must be such an honour, we’re so proud,” the way Chen said that, you knew it wasn't a compliment.
“It’s very fulfilling,” she said and glanced at Wukong briefly.
Oh gods, he looks pissed off.
“I'm sure it is,”
“What are you doing here?”
“I was invited,”
“I meant what are you doing back here,”
“Just passing through, on a pilgrimage to the West for the Buddhist Scriptures,”
“So interesting,” Daiyu rolled her eyes.
“It really is,” you found yourself glancing at Wukong. It really had been absolutely perfect to travel with him and the others.
“And who might this be?” Ming questioned, they all eyed Wukong as he folded his arms and looked at them boredly.
“Sun Wukong,” Zhong said in realization.
“The infamous Monkey King,” she looked at you with a scrutinizing smile. “Two freaks together, how appropriate,”
“We’re not together,” you mumbled, trying to hide your blush at the mere thought of being with Wukong.
“I guess even a monkey has standards. Really no one wants you?” Shen chuckled.
“Not that we’re surprised,” Ming said, making the other girls snicker and giggle. Wukong growled and stood in front of you protectively, having enough of their degradation towards you.
“Don't you dare talk to her like that, concubine,”
“Wukong,”
“Who are you calling a concubine, you filthy mongrel?” Daiyu glared.
“Wukong,” you held his hand. “Please, they aren't worth causing a scene. Let’s just move on and enjoy the food and drink,”
“Run along, your master’s calling,” her words made him growl and he was going to attack her, but you held onto his arm and attempted to pull him away.
“C'mon, Wukong, it’s not worth it,”
“You better listen if you know-”
“Would you shut up and stop angering him more? Everyone will suffer if you continue,” you finally snapped, which made Wukong look at you in shock. He'd never seen you upset before, so it was something.
“How dare you talk to me like that, you're nothing but a poor and worthless servant,”
“I may be a servant, but at least I have skills and make a good income without having to spread my legs,” you shot back. Your remark didn't only shock them to their core, but made Wukong look away as he licked his lips with a grin.
That's my girl… he thought to himself in amusement. You were cute when you blared your fangs like the feisty little tiger you were.
“You promised to behave,” you turned back to Wukong, who wanted to squeeze your cheeks as they puffed up whenever you pout.
“I'm hungry,” Wukong said and walked away.
“Me too!” you beamed and followed behind him with a smile.
“Why didn't you correct them when they called you a servant?” Wukong watched as you filled a plate with food and offered it to him.
“We're all just servants under Buddha,”
“Don't get smart,” he glared but took the plate from you with a small ‘thank you' leaving his mouth.
“It's not like they'd believe me,” you sighed. “They aren't important, we'll be gone by tomorrow morning so save your sanity and think nothing of them.”
“(Y/n),” he looked at you.
“Hm?” you looked up at him curiously as you bit into a dumpling.
So cute… He thought to himself, wanting to pinch your dumpling filled cheeks but busied himself with his own food.
“Go out with me,” he said as casually as he could, considering he felt like his anxiety was going to make him explode.
“P-Pardon?” you questioned him, not really believing what he had just asked you.
“I want to take you somewhere,” he took your hand and kissed it softly. “Where we can be alone…”
“U-uh, okay,” you nodded and glanced away bashfully. “I'd like that a lot.”
“You would?” He raised a brow.
“Of course,” you smiled. “We can use it to get to know each other better. After all, we'll be going to Flower Fruit Mountain together, remember?”
“Alright then,” he nodded and turned back to his food, but you noticed his blush and couldn't help but smile.
Silly monkey… So temperamental, yet so gosh darn adorable.

Macaque and Wukong x reader (separately) ending up in situations where they’re completely tangled in rope
A/N: I wrote this on the plane as it took off and had previously been hopping around from airport to airport for more than 24 hours. I only got around 3ish hours of sleep by sleeping in the airport chairs and on the plane with occasional free falls thanks to the weather when flying.
so sorry if this is shit or has tons of grammar issues later since I feel like a husk and running on autopilot
This is somewhat suggestive
Macaque
You’d just gotten a call from Macaque as you were on a break with little words being spoken from him and only heard “Fuck! Come help me with the ropes- Shit!”. That’s all that you heard before it got cut off and it did slightly worry you since your lover rarely seemed that distressed unless he was genuinely in need of help. Your bag was already packed thanks to keeping it closed so you could have an easy check out at the end of your shift. The other coworker on your shift gave you a wink and thumbs up when you told them about your dilemma, promising they could cover for you for an hour or two.
Before both of you had left for your jobs, Macaque said he was going to be in the theatre tweaking the mechanics of the lights and that information paired with what he said gave you a good idea of what happened. Your theory was confirmed when you walked into the lobby and called out his name, hearing the shadow demon yell back that he was in the theatre’s backstage area. “Macaque? What happened? I got your vague cry for help!” You yelled and tried to hold back laughter when you saw him completely tangled in ropes, looking bored out of his mind and tired. Mostly likely from thrashing to get out of it if you had to guess.
His thighs were tangled in rope that already had knots in it and one of his legs was folded back against itself while the other was mainly tied at his knee and held up. You walked closer to him and brushed your fingers over the ropes, mentally trying to work out where to start and wondering if grabbing a table to let him lay on it would be better so the ropes aren’t strained. There were several ways he could get out even without using his powers so why didn’t he just cut the ropes or something?
“Why didn’t you just cut the ropes? That would’ve saved the time of calling me and giving you more time to work.” You chastised him and only received an unimpressed glare from your lover. He gestured up to the ceiling with his head and of course most of those ropes controlled different parts of the theatre, starting to understand why that wasn’t an option.
“I would’ve but then I’d have to risk some of the stage lights landing on my head or damaging the stage. That’s assuming no one else is in here.” He said with a dry tone and shot you a look saying “Get me out of here now and I won’t punish you.” However, it seemed like he didn’t have a place to call the shots, and for once you could be one in control. You ran your fingers up the ropes leading to his groin and pulled away with a small hiss coming from your boyfriend. “Who says I can’t have a little fun with you now?” You whispered.
Sun Wukong
So you didn’t exactly get a call from Wukong but more like MK called (making the comment that whatever he needed help with was weird since his astral projection looked strange) you saying that Monkey King needed your help with something and wouldn’t disclose what apparently to his successor. This call didn’t last long since you guessed he called you while he was driving since all you heard was a car horn and a curse coming from him. If you had to guess your boyfriend had probably gotten himself into some trouble seeing as he told you to help him and he didn’t tell MK what happened. Probably to try and maintain his impressive image as his mentor; he’d have to do something absolutely terrible like kick an innocent puppy or something.
After thanking Sandy for a lift since getting to that damn mountain was so hard and at some points it was tiring but you were “forbidden” from trying to leave for his mountain in case you got hurt which is when the great sage would come to you. Speaking of, some of the monkeys recognized you from the many times you came here to visit Wukong and followed you up to the entrance of his treasure room or rather his “hoarding room”. As you walked in there wasn’t anything out of the norm but there really wasn’t anything you could see given home fucking large this room was and-
Nevermind. The glowing shiny rope hanging from the ceiling with various things caught in it was certainly what you were looking for and yes that was your mystic monkey strewn about. “Sun, what did you do or touch this time?” You said with a sigh while some of his siblings climbed the nearest pillar to poke the rope curiously. He sputtered and looked away from you. “What?! No! I didn’t do anything. I just um wanted to see you since it’s been so long since I last saw you.” He nervously said and then stopped his next sentence from coming out since you both had seen each other not even 24 hours ago. At this, you turned around with a carefree smile and waved at him.
“If that’s all then I’ll see you tonight for movie night at my place. Bye-” You said in a sing-song tone before turning around knowing you’d probably get about 5 feet from the entrance before he yelled at you to come back. You laughed as you walked back over trying to gauge how high he was up and not hiding the amused grin on your face seeing how done with your mocking he was. He’d do the same too if not worse so it was karma. “So remind me why you can’t get out?” You asked and looked around hoping to find something climbable since there was no way he owned a ladder. “Well, I could but other magical items or artifacts are tied up here with me and I don’t know what they’ll do if they fall with me. I’ve also tried getting out for an hour now. and nothing’s worked.”
He mumbled the last part and you carefully climbed up a nearby rock hill as he continued to talk. Whenever you tried to figure out which place to start from you got momentarily distracted by the sight of your lover tied up in a precarious position, the main ropes tied around his torso all scattered about and the other wrapping tightly around his ankle. So his left leg was lifted high while the other was loosely hanging and rope tied some part of his hands to his lower right ankle near his back. It was hard to keep your eyes off of Sun even if you were both together especially now since he was somewhat helpless.
Apparently, you had been staring too long because he’d caught where your eyes were and smiled cheekily. “Well, aren’t you going to act on those thoughts of yours because this is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, sunshine?” He teased.

Deep Sea Sympathies
Yandere Sun Wukong
“I still can’t believe MK got me back into this,” the simian before you chuckles. “But I’m kinda glad he did. I really missed drawing. I forgot how good it felt.”
“…I see,” you “answer”, maintaining a stiff and poised position, staring down at the collection of utensils that the hero is using. “Are you… having fun, then?”
“Aww, bud. Come and take a seat, okay? Look, I’ll even put out a little mat for you. Come and take a seat,” he invites, plucking one of his transforming ginger hairs to make a proper cushion for you.
His tail winds lazily around your leg, tugging you closer and closer to the squishy orange padding.
“C’mon, bud,” he says, cutting through your hesitation. His voice has a powerful edge under all the sweetness- reminding you that the Monkey King is someone you can’t say no to. “I want you to draw with me, kiddo.”
Wukong is fond of this- pulling you into little “bonding sessions” that take up the whole day and leave you without time to spend with anyone else.
It’s funny, though, really- you are the last person that need be manipulated away from others.
“The Great Witch of Gloom,” was the title that you had been assigned. Before you had a name, before you had taken a step, before you had so much as uttered a cry… your fate had been decided.
You were to be a wicked soul with dark motives and a darker heart.
As old memories flood into your ever weary mind, Wukong arranges a few sheets of paper in front your mat. The grip of his tail slowly tightens, and you cease all stalling.
Lowering yourself to the ground, the mat provides a cozy cradle to shield against the cold wooden floor.
“…it’s almost Winter,” you mildly comment, tracing a finger against a smooth plank. “It’s getting colder.”
“Oh,” the simian casually asks, scooting his mat closer to yours, “you like the snow?” Here’s chance he always adores- any rare tidbit of info you offer is a chance for him to spoil you, stocking up on presents and snacks in an attempt to drown you in platonic love.
It didn’t help that you always felt so indebted after he was done stacking gifts into your arms and bag.
“So, bud- what’re you gonna draw?”
The curiosity in his voice is almost innocent, almost sweet. He pushes the multi-tiered box of crayons towards you, smiling.
“C’mon, pick a few out!”
Awkwardly; and with a shaking hand to boot, you reach for the box.
It’s… not a comfortable sensation. Waxy paper around thick wax sticks makes for an awkward feeling in your hand, and you slightly recoil from the hueless cylinder.
“Aww, kiddo. No one draws with white- heck, you’d be better off eating it! Not that I’ve, uh, ever done that.”
“…I don’t know what to do,” is your blank confession that leaves Wukong quirking an eyebrow.
“What, you don’t know how to draw? You’vd never had… oh. Oh, kiddo.”
Realization colors his golden eyes, leaving the simian king with a sympathetic frown. Your parents wouldn’t have ever let you have something as fun and bright as crayons, would they? How could he have forgotten that?
It had been a nightmare for the Monkie Kids to pry information out of you, and a further mess to try pushing you towards a healing state.
And, honestly- Wukong’s doting ministrations really didn’t help. All the love and gifts in the world could not undo your traumas- but certainly left you feeling as though you were mired in debt.
Not that you had the words to voice those feelings, leaving Wukong to continue piling on with his affections- all in the futile hope that he could love away the demons of your past.
“Okay, bud. Maybe we stepped out of your comfort zone, huh? Alright, my bad. Tell me what you wanna draw, and I’ll pick out the crayons for you, okay?”
“…I don’t know what to draw, though.”
His frown deepens. It’s hard to think that someone as young as you could be so… he wouldn’t say broken. That was far, far too cruel a word for someone he loved so dearly. You were… “cracked”, maybe. A little “tarnished”.
Like you had given up on seeing a light at the end of the tunnel and decided to instead drift slowly along in a dark ocean.
…actually…
“Bud, don’t you like the beach? C’mon, why don’t you draw something from there, yeah?”
“…could I?”
Your little words break his heart. You shouldn’t have to feel like you need permission for something as simple as drawing a damn picture. But you *do*, so he answers with false cheer-
“Of course, kiddo! Draw anything you want!”
“…how do… how would I draw… a jellyfish?”
Finally, a real smile graces his lips.
“I didn’t know you liked jellyfish,” he says, in a too familiar voice that lets you know you’ll be receiving a loaded armful of themed plushes and stress toys in the very near future.
Another load of guilt, another load of debt.
“I’ll take you to an aquarium one day,” he tacks on, unaware of your growing insecurities. “And we can look at them together.”
To him, this is healing. Love and affection and unending comfort.
And certainly, Wukong is far better a guardian than your parents were. Instead of blaming you for powers you couldn’t control, he was always ready with praise and applause. Instead of resigning yourself to rotted garments rummaged from the trash, you had brand-new clothes and warm shoes. You were never hungry. You were never bored. You were never alone.
And, above all else- you were loved.
But you were not happy.
And you doubted that would ever change.

What if reqder was also a monkey?
How would the first meeting go and would the warlords still be in love with reader at the end?
(And can i be 🎂 anon?)
Yes, you can be 🎂 Anon! I am so glad to have another anon!
As for if Reader was also a monkey. I'd say in this version that if Reader was a monkey, she'd originally be from the Jttw World. She'd be from the same village as Spirit.
Her mother was a monkey demon while her father... let's just say he's not. He's also not human, celestial or demon. I have a plan for him but I'll keep that for later in this version of my au. Should I call it Monkey AU? Hmm… maybe I’ll need another name for it.
Spirit and Reader would be good friends from the get-go and sworn sisters ever since they were young children. In this version Reader is actually more adventurous and reckless. Having grown up in this world she is used to demon attacks, deadly threats and so forth.
She's a fighter willing to protect her only friend even if it means the death of herself.
She would meet Sun and Mac when she reaches Flower Fruit Mountain. Her and Spirit would have gotten there faster because there are two of them fighting their opponents instead of one. Also because Reader is a monkey demon she is welcomed onto the island by the two warlords with open arms, both excited to meet new monkey demons.
(A little backstory/ lore - Marshals Ma and Liu and Generals Beng and Ba are the only monkey demons born to flower fruit mountain, other than Wukong of course. Wukong makes it his mission to invite as many monkey demons to fill the mountain with and most come with him excitedly as they aren’t seen kindly by the humans of the mainland. After Macaque joins Wukong they both make it their mission to make the humans who treated their kind pay dearly, even though not all humans were harsh to them)
Anyways Reader gets to see her sworn sister meet her father and her new family first hand. She is both happy for her sister and slightly disappointed knowing that she wasn’t the only one her friend had now. She liked the feeling of being needed, but doesn’t want to spoil Spirit’s fun. Because of that she goes off to explore the island so her sister can have time meeting her family.
Of course this catches the attention of Macaque. Wukong is the one who trusts most monkey demons almost blindly with little distrust. Macaque on the other hand? No, he has fought and killed others who have threatened his life weather they were of his kind or not.
He has no intention of harming those his mate has chosen to be apart of their kingdom and makes sure to have friendly relations with them. However that doesn’t mean he trusts blindly especially those who have just arrived and haven’t yet accepted Wukong as their king. So following the new troop mates around is something he has made a habit of, but this time Wukong realizes what he’s doing.
After a short talk (Mostly using Wukong’s curiosity against him) the two follow the monkey demoness around. She has no rhythm or reason to her walks and simply looks around curious about her surroundings. When she believes she’s alone she sings softly allowing her voice to float through the air. Both Wukong and Macaque like the private ‘show’ not that they say anything at first.
Then they see her interact with the cubs around the mountain. The cubs that are so cute and adorable as they climb up and down Reader, curious about the newest member of the troop. All the while Reader laughs as she makes sure they don’t fall and grabs fruit from the trees to pass around to the youngsters. She is absolutely loving towards them making sure they are safe and happy. That is when the first smallest spark hits their hearts. Though they easily play it off, after all it’ll disappear after a while… right?
Hours turn into days, days turn into weeks and before they know it, two months have passed. And the small spark has turned into a bright flame that doesn’t die and is hard to hide. No matter how much they try. They can’t help but pay attention to her, they can’t help but absolutely ADORE her.
Now these two are very loyal to each other, but when feelings begin to bloom for this new Monkie demon they end up trying to stay away, unfortunately for them she seems to be a magnet for them. They are drawn to her from her smile to her laugh. When Macaque finds his mate liking this new woman (even though he likes her too) he intends to put an end to it. But when he sees her smile at him he completely freezes and can’t go through with it.
Macaque realizes he loves Reader almost as much as he loves his own mate. Telling his mate however is harder than anything else because his mate, his oh so OBLIVIOUS mate doesn’t realize he LOVES the woman that he does! Macaque remembers what he had to do to get Wukong to believe that he loved him now how is he supposed to get him to realize he loves this woman too!
Fortunately for Macaque, Wukong knows what love feels like. After all he feels love for Macaque so when he feels the oh so familiar feeling for Reader, well he KNOWS. It does take the two quite a while to actually talk to each other about their feelings though. They don’t want the other to go into a jealous rage and kill their new darling after all.
They do eventually talk and when they do? Well Reader realizes they are giving her more attention but doesn’t really think much of it… until she decides it’s time to leave to travel. Reader doesn’t like to be cooped up for too long especially Monkey!Reader she likes to travel. Unfortunately for her, when she goes to tell the Monkey King and his mate goodbye, well… she doesn’t get the chance to leave the mountain.
Hehe! I loved this ask. Now mind you this is my first idea for monkey!Reader. I also have another version that I have deemed Stone Monkie! Reader, though maybe not the same ‘stone’ as you may think. She was NOT born from stone. There is a different reason she is called Stone Monkie!Reader.
Hearts, comments and asks are always appreciated. Sorry this took so long 🎂 Anon. But I do love this ask. This is basically a headcanon quick version of a small fic now that I look at it. Hope you’re okay with that!

Hey, so how does look Nezha's character development? I'm slightly confused. As child he's rebelious and after Ao Bing's death he starts listening to his father- But then he's feral also in his teenage years?
Ok, so I'll explain as good as I can.
1. Childhood [1-12] :
As Child Nezha was cheerfull and energetic kid, who was a little troublemaker. He was a symbol of changes and rebelion.
He was very confident and strong. He mostly didn't like to listen because either he didn't like someone's opinion or he wanted to explore the world in his own way.
He also was very rude to people who were assholes, or thought of him as a monster because of his strength.
2. Ao Bing's death:
After Nezha accidentally killed Ao Bing, his curious and adventurous spirit was broken.
Why did it happened?
3. Nezha's suicide:
A scared child child who regreted killing his friend, putting the whole village in danger and not listening to his father, who warned him.
4. Nezha's comming back to life FIRST DAYS:
As soon as Nezha got new body from his master, his piority was to make sure that his village would be safe. So once with new powers, he faced Ao Guang making sure that he wouldn't try to attack them.
Ao Guang let go easily, since it wasn't important for him anymore, and also called Nezha a monster, as the child was walking away.
For the next two weeks Nezha didn't spoke a word with anyone, due to the shock of all those events.
5. Later pre-teen:
"If you just listened to me, none of that would have ever happened!"
6. Teenage years:
After this Nezha is fully loyal to his father and listens to him without a second doubt. He becomes a great soldier who defeats demons and monsters without any hesitation.
Despite him listening to his father, he's very brutal, when it comes to fights. He doesn't respect his opponents or show any mercy. He's very brutal. Like to inhumanitary way. (tearing apart limbs, making them suffer, mocking them if they think they've got a chance in survival)
But Li Jing doesn't mind, since he's doing his job perfectly.
So Nezha is obedient, but also feral.
He blames himself nonstop for Ao Bing's death and cannot look in the mirror, since he see himself as a monster. "If you're already a monster then at least you can do something usefull with it"
Nezha doesn't mind killing demons, since he also see them as main piority of danger to his family. That's also why he is so devoted to this.
Nevertheless, that's also the main reason why he works solo. Nobody wants to be near him, they see danger in him and are terrified of him. Even though Nezha wouldn't hurt them (becuase his father didn't tell him to) they are still too afraid.
Nezha's older brothers saw what was happening to their younger brother and wanted to help, but Nezha was a little too deep into this dark void to simply get out..
7. Wukong:
Sometimes once you meet someone who is similary as broke as you (or maybe even worse) you can actually feel like someone actually understands you.
Sometimes it is better. Sometimes it is worse.
Fortunatelly, for Nezha Wukong was a nice break from his thoughts.
They drank and had fun. Nobody judged you how many blood was on your fingers, what mistakes you've made in life. They drank, sung and danced all day and night. They were making funny pranks and other weird stuff.
It was pure fun!!!
Well at first at least..
One time the he broke a little at said out too much. Surprisingly Wukong also opened up and it turned out they both the once they once loved.
That night Nezha broke down crying and Wukong stayed strong and hugged him, until the boy felt asleep.
Sun Wukong also reasurred him that he in fact was not a monster, which was hard for Nezha to belive.
For a short time Wukong used to Nezha's weird emotional support.
Nevertheless he was still obedient to his father. No matter what.
And later Nezha & Ao Bing met in Fensheng war, where everything slowly started getting better for Nezha.

You can, Lego monkie Kid, Mei x Dragon Lotus reader, The reader is Mei's great-grandmother and Ao lie's wife.
Mei Dragon Meets Her Ancestor! Reader
Characters: Mei Dragon Requester: 🐲Anon A/N: I'm guessing you were either talking about Lotus Dragon from Cookie Run or Dragon Lotus from KaijuCombat, but I'm not familiar with either of them so I chose a different dragon to be based on, it's shown below! Anyways, have fun reading! ⚠️ Spoilers/Trigger Warnings for: Nothing bad ⚠️
Disclaimer: The Reader is inspired by Falkor and Haku and is female
Reader's ; Outfit - Hairstyle - Human Accessories - Dragon Form
╔══════════════════════════════════════════╗
╚═════ Mei Dragon ════════════════════════════╝
🐉 You were shocked when you were thrown through a portal by a demon, and as you stood from your back you groaned in pain. That damn thing hit you pretty hard in the stomach
🐉 Looking around, you were shocked. This was not the same land you were once in. You narrowed your eyes in wariness while your two horns kept some of your hair from flying everywhere from the strong winds
🐉 Beginning a small walk around to familiarize yourself with your surroundings, you felt the leaves and branches crunch under your feet. Thank goodness you were a dragon, who knows how much this would hurt as a human?
🐉 It was only a few minutes when you heard a yell of two individuals. They sounded young, maybe in their teen-years? Most likely with how they were bickering... it reminded you of Wukong with almost everyone he came across
🐉 The small group of people just yelled or stood silently while you just watched as a fast wind passed your face, alerting you into battle-mode
🐉 Jumping into the air while the others prepared to fight, you landed on the demon's back, making him dig into the ground with his body. You gritted your teeth before your long tail emerged and your horns enlarged with your rage
"Get out of here before I tear you to shreds, demon."
🐉 He sprung up and began running, only for you to send a large lock at him, closing it around him, capturing the beast in the magic's grasp. Everyone else just stared before one male jumped up with stars in his eyes and rambling about you
"You're Ao Y/N, wife of Ao Lie! Y-You're Mei's ancestral-great-grandmother!"
"Pardon my question, but who is this Mei?"
🐉 The male pushed the once-arguing female ahead with an ecstatic attitude while she looked at you in shock, to which you smiled gently and slightly bowed your head
"It is very nice to meet my descendant. I suppose with that information, I am in the future. And by the 'ancestral' comment," The boy laughed nervously as you spoke, "I'll guess it's been beyond 100 years."
"You look so... COOL!"
"Pardon?"
🐉 Mei began to jump around you, commenting things from your hair to your outfit to even your draconian horns and tail. You just chuckled as she spoke, just watching as the young girl asked you question after question with such energy that you have only seen those like young children express
🐉 But, you wondered how your husband was reacting to this predicament back home... hopefully he wouldn't go overboard with his actions

I bet Chen would be Bai He’s favorite of her new siblings. Mainly because like her he’s an odd one out.
I think Chen would have an easier time warming up to the rest of the Sun family purely because they’re related to Wukong.
Imagine the first time he actually talks in front of them was simply to cheer Bai He up (who was having an especially bad day because someone was talking about her “dad” (Mayor) and implied that she was probably a lot like him (Apple doesn’t fall far from the tree mentality))
(Jokes on them our sweet little girl got nothing from that psycho, she’s her Baba’s little girl)
previous, next
Chenxiang does have an easier time warming up to Wukong's family, he was pretty hostile towards Macaque at first, and indifferent to his kids at first.
It takes both him and Wukong a comedically long amount of time to realize that Chao-Xing is Macaque's kid, it just happened to be the way she looks that it's not too obvious unless they're in the same room together, then it's like "oh how did I not see that". So Chao-Xing is exempt from the indifference because he did not know.
He was very skeptical at first when Pigsy and Tang came in claiming they found Wukong's sister, partially because it seemed far fetched, but mostly cause he was scared of being left behind by Wukong for his "real" family.
The Sun family took it as a two for one deal so those concerns were quickly dealt with.
The main problem he has after is he doesn't really know how to socialize, he already doesn't talk very much, and he's worried the younger kids think he doesn't like them. They actually like him just fine, he's nice and quiet to be around, even when he does speak his voice is soft. They think he's neat.
He's very awkward around them at first until he gets more comfortable with the extended family and being around not traumatized to hell and back yet kids.
He's also the odd one out cause this is a family fully of monkeys and he doesn't understand all their different behavioral cues. Wukong doesn't either cause he was separated from them so young. New family bonding activity! How to monkey lessons!
So he's chill with the Sun family, Yuebei snarls at him sometimes if she feels like he's taking up too much of her jiě jie's attention, but that's the most difficulty he gets from her and she's mostly fine. Ma also has a kid his age, Xuěhuā, an albino monkey demon that she adopted when she found them abandoned, and they are quick to become buds.
Once the LBD drama gets solved and Macaque and his kids are living with Wukong full time, and they are making plans to build either build another house or add on to the existing one to make room for the extended family, and any possible future generations in a typical monkey demon style household, he's struck with the sudden shift from only child to oldest child.
Luckily for him, Xuěhuā's the same age and that helps disperse some of the responsibility, and as the oldest girl among the children, a lot of things get taken to Chao-Xing, monkey demons are matriarchal and oriented towards oldest female in charge and the one to go to for most major decisions or discussions. He isn't shaken too hard by the sudden upgrade.
Does he slightly abuse his new older brother powers? Yes, but only for good/funny ways, he's not mean about it.
He is best big brother!
MK's a good big brother too just a lot more awkward and traumatized.
Once he starts warming up to the Macaque, in general the idea of him accepting Macaque as second dad is still a ways off, he very quickly gets along with Bai He, he is her favorite because he's the only one she doesn't feel completely isolated around.
Ngl the new family situation is hard for her, her big brother is more interested in reconnecting with his twin sister, which she isn't mad at him for he deserves to know his twin better, and her brother's half siblings are all twins, and she's not even a full monkey demon.
She definitely feels isolated from them, and is extra insecure about her parentage, she knows her parents didn't love each other like her siblings did.
And on top of that, Xiuying and Qiuyue are expecting another set of kids around this time, and a lot of attention is going to that, and her baba is making up for lost time with both his estranged daughter and mate.
It's chaotic when her life used to be rigidly structured and ordered.
She kind of misses how simple things used to be, but one look at how happy her Baba is now has her feeling insanely guilty for even thinking that.
So in all that chaos and insecurity, she finds lotus bro Chenxiang just hanging out, and he quickly becomes her new favorite sibling.
He's the easiest to be around, Chao-Xing is a bit of an intense presence without realizing it, Louhou and Jidu are 5-6, Luzhen is basically his twin's shadow, and Yuebei doesn't like her.
And when it comes to her "dad", oh boy is this girl going through a lot right now. She's never liked being compared to him, even by her grandmother, and it's so much worse now because instead of intending it to be a compliment, it's an insult.
Anyone who compares Bai He to her sperm donor is going to face the consequences, her family will not tolerate anyone saying anything about one of their own.
Unfortunately, some of the people who make such comments are one's they can't touch or intimidate into backing off, so sometimes they just have to deal with it.
She is absolutely her baba's girl through and through, she took nothing from the Mayor in terms of personality. If only it could have been like that for everything.
She does feel better when her family sticks up for her. By in large, she gets along well with all her new siblings and new parental figures in her life.
But there is one sibling that refuses to get along with her. Yuebei does not like Bai He, she doesn't want to share her jiě jie with someone who isn't even her sister.
Oh and on top of everything else, she hears her Baba and Papa talking about having a new baby, she's going to get replaced as her baba's youngest and most in need of him, she's not good enough anymore, her grandmother always said if she wasn't good enough she would be replaced by a worthier younger sibling(s). And she's being replaced now.
Luckily, she's in a home with Qiuyue and Xiuying, the queen and monarch of proper communication, so she's got support, but that doesn't mean the change isn't hard.
This family is so fun to play with! It's got such interesting family dynamics, I love it!
Thanks for asking!

As serious as Dove likes to pretend to be, I also want to show just how slightly unhinged her actions can seem to others. What she does may make sense in her mind, but sometimes all the others can do is watch as they struggle to comprehend her train of thought. She can also just be plain petty, but that's already very obvious.
Anyway, a good example of her behaviour is when the group meets Sandy!
Dove Masterlist:
Dive
“These Flowing-Sand metes, eight hundred wide; These Weak Waters, three thousand deep. A goose feather cannot stay afloat; A rush petal will sink to the bottom.”
Tripitaka reads aloud the stone slab on the shore of the river. Is this really the Flowing-Sand river? You thought it’d take you longer to get here, though not much has happened since your group’s encounter with that tiger and wind demon about a month ago. “I remember this place, from when I last travelled with my own master, Guan Yin.”
“Really?” Tripitaka turns to you. “Do you know of any way to cros–”
Just as he spoke, a figure leapt from the waters, a recognizable blur of indigo and red charging towards the group. Before you can mumble a word, you feel yourself being tugged back alongside Tripitaka. Zhu Bajie runs to meet the challenger, raising his rake high before bringing it down on the newcomer but before you can see anything else, Wukong drags you and Tripitaka away from the confrontation.
The moment he drops the two of you, you slap his hand away. “What do you think you’re doing?!”
“Saving your life. Keep Master safe, we’ll be right back.” The Monkey King didn’t give you time to retort before taking his needle-sized staff and extending it in his hands.
“Wait! That demon…!” The sage is already bounding towards the fight before you can trail off. Is it so hard to just listen?! With a quick exhale, you turn to the monk instead. “Follow me.”
“…Pardon?” Tripitaka frowns, more out of confusement than anything else. “But that’s where Sun WUkong and Zhu Bajie are fighting the demon.”
“I can explain everything in a moment but for now, I just ask that you trust me.” Tripitaka could stay further back and wait as well, though there was no real danger at the riverside.
With how quickly Sun Wukong sped you away, it took a bit of time to return to the riverbank. It was just as you reached the waters that the two disciples came into view, their opponent nowhere to be found. The closer you get, the more you can hear the two as they bicker.
“If you just waited, I could have worn him down enough to deliver the final blow!” Pigsy huffs, pointing accusingly with his rake to the Monkey King.
The King rolls his eyes, his arms crossed as he argues back. “How could you have expected me to wait? It isn’t my fault he was so intimidated by me.” As you approach the two with their master, the sage quickly straightens his posture, turning before you can even announce your presence. You’ve noticed him do this quite often, him and Pigsy both. Though, the latter never reacts to your presence in the same way. Perhaps it has less to do with them being demons that can feel your power and more that you could manage to get along with one and the other, well…. “What are you doing back here?! I told you to keep Master safe.”
“That is what I’m doing, now where is the river demon?” You question, looking between the two disciples.
“The moment he saw Brother Sun charging at us, he turned and fled back into the river.” Bajie explains, and you sigh in frustration. This could have been easier if that demon didn’t announce his presence by charging at your group. What did he have to gain by attacking anyone that passed by the river?!
The Monkey King quickly steps in before Tripitaka has the chance to voice any of his concerns. “You don’t have to worry, Master. We were just devising a plan to finish the demon off quickly so we can cross the river. You see, despite my skill, I am not the best at combat in the water. Fortunately though, Bajie is adequate enough to pull off what we want to do…”
You don’t wait for him to finish. You don’t even bother interrupting, it would just waste time to argue with him. Instead, as the sage explains his plan with Pigsy to their master, you set your bow and quiver down on the ground. Transforming, you begin to ascend, flying over the stretch of water. It only takes you a few moments before you find yourself at an appropriate height above the river.
Zhu Bajie is the first to look back and spot you, his eyes narrowed and confused. “Brother Sun?” The demon nudges his fellow disciple, gaze focused on the sight before him.
Wukong is quick to give him an irritated glance. “What is it, Idiot?”
“The woman is about to dive.”
It’s almost as if the pebble of realisation skips over his mind for a moment before sinking in. “What?!”
“Sha Wujing! Surface and face your master!” By the time the other two men turn around to join Pigsy in looking upwards, you’ve already transformed back, shouting before plunging into the river’s murky depths.
The three can only stand there, staring at where their companion had been just a fraction of a moment ago. Even the dragon-horse stares at the point where you disappeared into the water. However, your absence isn’t long, and when resurfacing, they find you with the very demon who had attacked just a few minutes before. Sun Wukong is the first to move, ready to jump into action.
That is, until the demon lets out a hearty laugh. “Ah, I thought my mind was playing tricks on me! You really are the dove that accompanied the Bodhisattva Guan Yin.”
“Yes, I am glad you remember me.” You nod before nodding in gesture to your fellow travellers ashore. “However, I am now travelling with your master and his other disciples, the one you were instructed to wait for. The same men you so shamelessly tried to attack earlier.”
The demon looks back to the others on the shoreline, their confusion shared amongst their expressions, his brows shooting up in worry. “Oh! I see. Forgive me, young one. I hadn’t realised you were all so close, I’ve been waiting for so long.” He chuckles, almost bashfully, like the misunderstanding was nothing more than a simple mistake.
“Why don’t we go back and you can apologise to the monk yourself.” You suggest, and the sand-demon nods.
Together, you swim back towards your companions waiting on the shore. As you hobble back onto land, looking like a drowned rat, you’re greeted by the other men with silence. Now, finally holding their attention captive, you explain. “Tripitaka, I would like you to meet your fourth and final disciple, Sha Wujing.”
“Fourth?” Pigsy echoes, and with the silence broken, Monkey interjects.
“Why in the world would you attack us?! Why didn’t you say anything??” He points to you, twisting and squeezing the water from your clothes.
You laugh at his almost exasperated tone. “I’d explain that I tried, but you are the one person in the world incapable of understanding how frustrating it can be to get through to that thick skull of yours.” A semblance of a chuckle comes from Tripitaka, and it takes a good amount of self control not to laugh aloud at the outright look of offence on Wukong’s face when he turns to face his master.
Wujing clears his throat to grab hold of their attention once more. “I would like to apologise, Master. If I had known you were the scripture pilgrim, I would not have attacked you.”
“Wait a moment, why would you say fourth?” Bajie interjects, still stuck on your earlier statement.. “Sun Wukong and I are master’s only other disciples.”
Tripitaka is the one to answer in your place, patting the side of the horse gently. “You forget Ao Lie, he joined us just before you did.”
“…The horse?!”
“Actually, he’s a dragon.”
“…” He doesn’t say anything, though the expression of unfiltered befuddlement says all you need to know.

@starsfic: Mengying spends time chilling with Princess Iron Fan bc Ao Lie got recruited to help Wukong and DBK with something. Years later Iron Fan casually drops that meeting to Xiaojiao.
anon: Did Ao Lie's wife or children ever visit Flower Fruit Mountain? Because imagine Xiaojiao's first visit and a few dozen monkeys rush up because she looks like her several greats grandmother
Mei was watching a historical drama with Iron Fan when it happened.
The two of them had stopped really paying attention to the events onscreen - to be fair, this one was a rerun - and had begun gossiping instead.
Somehow the subject had turned to Sun Wukong and his monkeys, and then…
“--and whenever we stop by, like whether it was the beach party or when we fixed his house, a ton of the monkeys just swarm over to me. MK says they do that to everyone, and I’m not too surprised - I mean, everyone else definitely looks like his old buddies, but for me it’s kinda weird.” She popped a chip into her mouth. “I mean, I’ve seen Grandpa, I don’t look that much like him.”
“Not completely, but you do look a lot like your grandmother.”
Iron Fan said it so casually that at first Mei didn’t register what she said.
Then she gasped so hard she inhaled the chips and fell into a coughing fit.
“Mei? Are you okay?” Red Son yelled from the kitchen with DBK.
“Fine, good, just went down the wrong pipe!” Mei managed after taking a drink. Then she whirled around to face Iron Fan, her eyes wide. “You knew Grandma?” she whispered.
Iron Fan raised a perfectly-arched eyebrow. “Knew her? She stayed with me for a time.”
Mei drew in a long, high inhale.
“Oh, no need for that…”

The official explanation that they’d given was that they didn’t want their wives to be lonely.
But Iron Fan knew full well both of them had been on their own before, in small increments of time.
No, the real explanation was We think it would be great if they got along.
(And, she suspected, the dragon likely didn’t relish leaving his mortal alone in the dragon court.
…it said something, she supposed, that he felt more comfortable leaving her with an ex-Celestial in a demon’s palace.)
Despite the different upbringings and mortalities, the two were getting on surprisingly well.
They guessed it started when their husbands were finally able to leave; Ao Lie had given her one last nuzzle against the tumble and released his hold on her, and she’d turned to see Iron Fan being reluctantly set back down by her own husband.
The two had locked eyes, and a mutual understanding had passed between them.
Iron Fan had smiled. Hopeless romantic? her eyes seemed to say.
Mengying nodded, face rosy. Terribly so, hers answered back.
And from there, it was smooth sailing.
Iron Fan showed her to the gardens, where Mengying excitedly praised the flora’s growth. They took tea beneath a flowering cherry blossom tree.
Mengying asked about animals, and didn’t seem remotely bothered when Iron Fan shrugged and said they were mostly for eating.
Ah, that’s right, Iron Fan thought to herself. Farm girl.
Still, when one of the chickens approached Mengying and started tugging at her skirts, Mengying had turned to her new friend and asked “Might we spare this one?”
“A chicken, dear girl?”
“I know, but it’s just so sweet, and Misty Morning might like more friends…”
Iron Fan shrugged, looking nonchalant but still saying: “If it will please you so much, you may take her.” And then after a moment’s pause, “Take one of the roosters, too, actually.”
“Oh, thank you, friend! Lie will like them, too!”
Iron Fan ordered the chefs to not prepare chicken that night. It seemed inappropriate.
They were even able to bond a little bit over frustrating nobles.
Iron Fan complained of one of her husband’s brothers and his wandering eye.
Mengying sighed and admitted she still felt out of place; her husband helped however he could, and he was the odd one himself, but still… It felt terribly lonely sometimes.
Iron Fan’s eyes softened slightly, and she covered Mengying’s hand with one of hers. “Pay no mind to them,” she said sharply. “You’re one of our family now. You two have plenty of allies.”
By the time the three men returned, Iron Fan and Mengying were talking and getting on as if they’d been sisters for much longer than they had.
“Do come see us again,” Iron Fan said, ignoring how Sun Wukong’s face lit up in excitement and his tail started to wag a bit. “I’ve enjoyed having another woman around.”
“Oh, we will.”
–-
“And…?” Mei prompted, leaning forward on the couch.
“What else is there to tell?” Iron Fan said with a shrug. “They did come back. We weren’t frequently able to visit them, but between all of us, we found ways. I was the first one after her father Mengying told when she was expecting their firstborn.”
Something flickered in her eyes, and she lowered her teacup, staring almost wistfully at the floor.
“After she… she was mortal, I knew. But it did not lessen the pain.”
The silence fell thick and heavy with grief.
Mei let her mother-in-law take a few moments, then cleared her throat awkwardly. “I, uh… wish I could’ve met her, too. Like I did Grandpa.”
“As do I…”
“...so… uhm, weird question… you seriously gave her a chicken and rooster?”
“Uhm-hm. They had quite a few eggs together…” Iron Fan nodded towards Diandian as the fat chicken wandered into the room. “Guess where she came from.”
“.....no. Freaking. Way.”

Murderous Lust - Chapter 2
As the evening progressed, the atmosphere in the grand manor shifted subtly. The celebration continued, but Reader's unease grew stronger. He couldn't shake off the feeling that the demons, Liu'er mihou and Sun wukong, were watching him intently, their gazes like daggers cutting through the air. He tried to brush off the sensation, attributing it to his own paranoia, but the tension in his muscles persisted.
Reader discreetly excused himself from the party for a moment, needing to catch his breath and clear his mind. He slipped out onto a lavish balcony adorned with hanging vines and soft, ambient lighting. The festivities sounds were no more than a gentle murmur.
The cool night breeze provided a temporary reprieve from the suffocating ballroom. He leaned against the marble railing, his heart racing, trying to shake off the foreboding sense that had settled over him.
"You seem troubled," a voice spoke from the shadows, sending a shiver down Reader's spine. He turned to find Liu'er mihou standing there, his dark purple eyes fixated on Reader. Despite the elegance of his attire, the simian's aura exuded a raw, primal power that made Reader's breath catch.
“Your highness”, gasped Reader, bowing himself forward.
“You don’t need to be formal with me. Now, tell me, what’s got you to leave the festivity.”
He found himself intimidated by the commanding presence before him. When they talked last time, he wasn’t impressed by the dark simian king. His though only burning with anger against Da Xia and with concern for the poor man that got hurt. But now that the adrenaline rush had worn off and that it was just the two of them, he couldn’t help but to feel afraid of him. He was such an imposing demon, he was king for a reason after all.
Reader's voice quivered slightly as he replied : "It's just... the grandeur of the celebration, I suppose. It can be overwhelming at times. And I haven't got used to this kind of life yet."
Liu'er mihou stepped closer, his gaze unwavering. "New experiences often carry both excitement and uncertainty. But there is more to your unease, isn't there?"
Reader's brow furrowed in confusion, unsure how Liu'er mihou could sense his deeper turmoil.
"I... I'm not sure what you mean.”
Liu'er mihou's gaze softened, and he leaned against the railing beside Reader. "It's not uncommon for those who have faced hardships to carry their burdens long after the storms have passed. Your eyes hold a story, Reader. A tale of strength, resilience, and a determination to rise above."
Reader's heart skipped a beat, his unease giving way to a pang of vulnerability. How could this demon, a creature of legend, perceive his inner struggles so keenly?
"You're perceptive," Reader admitted, his voice barely above a whisper. After a short time in his own reflection, Reader turned to face the simian and focused in order to plunge into his eyes. He never has been good at that, but he wanted to try, maybe this time he could see something, a part of the king’s story, a glimpse of his thoughts.
"That's curious," Reader mused, his voice tinged with a hint of self-reflection, "no matter how hard I try, I can't seem to perceive any stories through your eyes. I suppose I'm less attuned to perceiving that kind of things than you are. Or, perhaps it's due to your long life, your story is too long to be seen through your eyes ."
“But your story is quite as long as mine.” Smiled Liu'er.
Reader laughed.
“I doubt that, it feels like I’ve just been born. Even if to get in here it took me so much time, it’s as if I’m just a child discovering the world once again. Happily Lex is here to lead the way. I would be lost without him. I wouldn’t even be here without him.”
A loud noise startled Reader and he saw that Liu'er's face was no longer relaxed and jovial, but serious and tense. The fur on his neck was standing up.
As soon as he saw Reader looking in his direction, he tried to calm down as best he could.
"Are you well, Your Highness?" asked Reader.
He smiled, an obviously fake one, and replied that he simply felt tired. With that, he wished Reader a good night and left.
Reader remained there, lost in thought, gazing up at to the sky, which was disappearing behind rain clouds.
Then his eyes slid to the balustrade, where hands were now engraved. Something was wrong. Why had he left the party to talk to a simple man like Reader? To apologize for his daughter's behavior? No, he hadn't made any excuses. Maybe… he just wanted to talk. No, there was more. Plus he got angry, he even engraved his hands in the railing. And the fact that he tensed up when Lex was ta…
Lex!
Without knowing why, fear overcame Reader and he rushed back into the ballroom. Running down an empty, cold corridor, entering the overcrowded, oppressive ballroom in search of the one he loved. Something inside him had awakened, something that would never leave him. That fear of losing the one his heart belonged to.
"Lex !," Reader's voice was silenced by the constent noises, as he swept his gaze across the crowded ballroom, searching for his husband. His heart raced, the fear that had lain dormant for so long awakening within him. He threaded his way among the whirling dancers, his eyes searching for the familiar face he hoped to see.
As he made his way through the guests, a familiar silhouette emerged from the crowd. Lex's worried expression mirrored Reader's own anxiety. They found themselves in the center of the ballroom, surrounded by the whirlwind of music and celebration.
"What's wrong?" asked Lex, in a voice soft but laced with concern.
"I was… I was…"
Reader was so reassured to see him. He couldn't explain what had happened to him, how he felt. He simply took him in his arms.
"Dear?"
"Where are the kings?" Reader asked."
"They are gone, they said they had things to think about."
Reader sighed with relief.
o0o
Days passed and the celebrations was now totally stopped. Lex's popularity among the higher-ups had increased since that evening. He had talked to the right people. Since then, he had been working on his political plans to find out what he would propose to the citizens in the election for the city's future mayor.
Reader, he was always at his side, never leaving him for too long. Ever since his discussion with Liu'er mihou, he hadn't been able to shake the fear of losing his lover. He'd felt this kind of fear before, when he was still a child, at the institute… The institute, he could hardly stop thinking about that sordid place.
He needed to talk. But he never talked about the institute to Lex... maybe it was time.
“Lex, can we talk please ?”
“Yes sweetie, what’s wrong ?”
“I haven’t be honest with you about my past.”
“What do you mean?”
“I said that I lived terrible things, that I had to kill to get the right to live. But… I haven’t told you the truth about why I had to.”
“To survive ?”
“No, that’s not what I meant.”
Frustration builds as much as the fear of telling the truth. What if Lex hated him by learning all about the institute, about his "comrades".
“Listen," said Lex calmly "I seek no more than to understand you and to know more about you, love. But even if the past has a way of influencing the present, it doesn't have to define it. I believe the choices we make now shape the future we create, not our past. So don’t feel obligated to reveal anything that would hurt you. Because I’m in love with you, no matter your scars. I can live with them, and I will help you soothe their pain. But that’s not them that I married, but you. I love you for who you are, not for who you were."
And just like it, all the fears and the tension Reader would have felt has been gone.
“Thank you… I love you so much, Lex” Reader's said, at the verge of tears.
Normally, Lex would have replied, "I love me too," but he sensed his husband's distress and simply couldn't joke at a time like this.
They hugged. In his embrace, Reader felt safe again. Away from the wolves that had dominated his life and driven him to do horrible things. Away from the institute. He was free and loved.
If only he knew that in no time at all, he'd lose everything, not to the wolves, but to two simians who, from the Flower-Fruit Mountain, were already planning how they were going to seize Reader's freedom.
A plan that had quickly been put in place as they received a sealed royal missive.

Ok, second Request bc I thought about smth else
MATCHING COSTUMES WITH THE MONKIES
Like angel and demon, Fluttershy and Discord (I'm sorry Idk any mainstream couples 😭), smth like that
Also bonus Reader is super excited for this and has a smile from ear to ear
Couples costumes for Halloween🥰🥰🥰
(Lmk Wukong) Your Victor and Emily from the corspe bride🤩 it would be so cute for the both of you🥰. Seeing Wukong in a tuxedo would be a rare sight to see, but he would be more than happy to see you in a wedding dress, even though you're supposed to be undead. He loves how whimsical and mysterious you look and hopes to get a few pictures in especially of your beautiful smile.
(MKR Wukong) SWEENEY TODD AND MS LOVETT EVERYBODY!!!!!! Because he can be deadly also, when is that guy not scowling or in a very bad mood🤣🤣🤣. Although Wukong hates how old the costume makes him look, when he saw the costume you were wearing and your smile. It makes him get use to his dumb costume because it's worth it to see you happy. You also make a lovely ms Lovett with you dark and sunny disposition It's quite the oxymoron🤭🤭🤭🤭
(HIB Wukong) Well you both went for a classic look, and that's Frankenstein and his bride. I feel like he has the head shape for it, and considering his appearance problems it would fit him pretty well. Although you found him to be very handsome in his costume and gave him lots of kisses for reinsurance. Wukong loved your costume as well you were honestly cute in it.
(NR Wukong) I can't think of a better couple's costume for you both then Danny Zuko and Sandy Olsson From Grease😆😆😆. The leather makes him slightly uncomfortable but good thing he only has to wear it for tonight, also he gets to cat call you and your pretty little costume. He can also get used to you calling him stud all night long😉🥰
(Netflix Wukong) Man for him it was hard to decide but finally I got it! For Halloween, you both went as COSMO AND WANDA!!!! Wukong would make a good Cosmo because he may be goofy and not that bright sometimes, but he has such a good heart on him, and you love him so much for that quality of his. You're a good Wanda because dispite everything, you can't see yourself without him in your life. Your two halves of a whole idiot🥰🥰🥰
(BMW Wukong) Brick and Blossom, together your brain and he's brawn. He's rough around the edges and has never pulled a punch in a fight, but their was never a time where you weren't able to outsmart him. Then attack him with kisses, he would be lying if he said that he hates it, and would rather give up his immortality than ever admit that he sometimes loses on purpose, knowing that this is the result🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
(Destined one) Well This is a given the couples costume you both had for Halloween is................PUCCA AND GARU!!!!🤣 as I said before he's silent as a mouse and your always smiling in some way so it was perfect for you two, also can you imagine him with Garu's pigtails It's gonna Be too funny...Love🤣🥰

》:D THERAPY CAT GOT UPDATED MY DOODS!
You can also read it here
Sun kept a level head to avoid his steering wobble. The winds in the sky indicated that rain was forming into a thunderstorm, as shown through the little glimpses of rays of sunshine. He keeps his stance planted in the center of his cloud. Could it be the rain that made his fur prickle with nervousness? What could be so hard with taking some needed vacation time away from the kid? Wukong knew that his successor was more than capital of taking care of lessons and learning through the given scrolls he sent out to the kid. Sure there was a biting pain of neglectfulness, and a tug of the heart strings each time Mk gave him the look of disappointment, but he's a strong guy! Wukong's gaze narrowed in reminiscing the memory of a similar time when Macaque had gave such an upheaval of praise for Wukong. They both shared that bright eyed, happy admiration and looked up to Wukong like a hero in their eyes. A distant call of his name caught him back into the present. It was Sandy's voice.
"Hey! Mr. Monkey King!" He called, as he waved his hand up at the sky beside his boat home. There was a large sheet that covered a outline of something behind him and a toolbox beside Sandy's sneaker. Wukong halted, in attempts to make his hasty stop look natural.
"Hm? OH--didn't realize you were here!" Sun Wukong stated, with a forced smile. Sandy brushed off his pants with metal dust on it as he placed his wrench away.
"Yyep, figured as much you were out training Mk before this storm hits, or beating up bad guys. It's good to see you though."
Sun sat back on his cloud with arms behind his head making a disbelief grunt. "GHah, nahh...I'm retired! Getting too good for demons to even keep up with me I suppose." he remarked, in a humble brag tone. His cloud started floating down near Sandy's dock towards the ground as Sandy pushed the covered object back into his garage.
"What's that you making?" Sun asked tilting his head curiously.
"Oh this? Just making some ramifications of an escape plane in case...something were to happen but that's just a loose presumption. You heading back to Flower-Fruit Mountain?"
"Oh yeah, yeah days already passing by no thanks to that storm overhead." Wukong addressing Sandy's pointient comment. He felt his tail bristle with slight annoyance as his mind replayed the sentence Sandy said.
Call it imposter syndrome, but the slight bit of his ego crept in.
"The kid wasn't doing to well so, no practice for today. At least he can get some nourishment from staying off his feet. I mean he would need all the rest given that he's got me training him." Wukong continued on,
Sandy blinked, and his brow furrowed slightly. "Uh...okay then? I mean its not like you would forget to tell Mk that he wouldn't have to train today --where are you going?"
Wukong was already inching with his cloud out into the sea, back to where Megapolis was. He perked up and turned his head to see Sandy's dissapointed gaze and arm cross combo.
"Haha..ha....Yeah, I'll just, I'm just gonna go soo, byeee~" Wukong said in a gleefly tone as he whisked himself back into the city, as the storm began.
Mk woke up feeling something drip down the center of his nose. He scrunched up his eyes to make sure the room stopped spinning, as he wiped his nose. When blinking open his eyes, there was a smear of blood in which he immediately was awake. Mk stayed laying down to just trying to recall everything before blacking out.
Okay, Pigsy sent me up to my room because Tang said that I needed to get better. So that happened...early today, because that storm was said to come in the evening , instead of lunch time--ok next!
I then slept, and there was a..a uh monkey--
"Monkey King?--ACK" Mk winced at the sudden stingy pain on his forehead, and placed a hand over the open wound, sitting up from his bed. The visible memory of the interaction was, blurred. Almost choppy.
Staring at the sheets, the rain from outside of Pigsy's noodle shop was pouring to substitute the silence. Mk checked his palm again to see if the bleeding had stopped, and sighed before placing the hand back on his forehead. The feeling of loneliness started to creep in, and was having immense self doubt on his own ability to handle being Monkey King's successor.
I should get some more bandages just in case Mk thought and proceeded to get to his headband and jacket. He knew Pigsy headed home whenever injuries like this happened.
Just minus the Macaque giving a blaring headache. Once getting his shoes on ,he headed towards the convenience store, using his back of his hand to apply pressure.
The rain was coming down hard and Wukong's fur wasn't helping with keeping warm, zipping through the buildings in a blind frenzy. Everything that he thought someone had a yellow jacket, it wasn't Mk. For the past millenia, humans still enjoyed playing in the rain like tiny children exploring what rain is. He could picture a memory of one of his baby monkey's sitting beside looking out into his home, wide eyed and intrigued.
A loud thunder broke his tender nostalgia, and he turned up at the sky, with his arms crossed.
"Rude." He said, and directed his cloud to the ground, where he was in front of Sandy's tea home. When going to knock, the door had already been unlocked. Wukong's eyes switched off his golden gaze and into a red, lava magma color to set up his defense.
His tail pulled the door closed once inside and...Mo was looking up with a blue blanket.
He blinked and started to clean his tiny paw and got up to weave around Wukong's legs. Wukong sighed in relief, as he leaned down to pick up the blanket and throw it behind himself onto his shoulders.
"It's nice to see ya too, Mo. You're lucky that your in here and not out there."
"Meow!"
Wukong suddenly shivered and went to sit down on the floor ,in where Mo followed, and he say in front of the king.
Wukong wrapped the blanket and smiled nervously at Mo.
"I just realized I can't understand you ..sorry bud." Wukong apologized.
Mo shook his head before padding up to him and reached a paw out.
Wukong's tail swished curiously, and tilted his head. "Huh? Oh are you trying to point out that I'm soaked, because if you haven't notice, there's like this storm system moving through the while city--MNNFGPHF??"
Wukong got silenced by Mo placing a paw right on his mouth, as his expression showed disinterested.
Wukong stayed quiet and looked at the paw covering his mouth when it hit him.
Mo wasn't who he should owe an explanation.
Wukong's tail lowered in guilt. A heaviness overtook his hidden emotions and he looked at himself. Covered up, bundled up and exhausted.
Wukong started to wonder how often he missed these small details.
He let out a disgruntled groan, letting his shoulders droop, putting his head down with the blanket serving like a oversized hood.
Mk...how ignorant of me to have ignored you. So stupid am I..
Sun thought to himself, his eyes glowed back to its golden color, and reminisced the moments to continue his self beating up tendencies in silence.
The journey, his Master, his brothers, all of the Celestial Court, Macaque...
Mo slipped into Wukong's blanket and sat underneath his chin, with heavy cat blinks.
Wukong felt tears going down his face before noticing the extra warmth and glanced down.
Mo was purring super loud, and rubbed his forehead at Wukong's chin.
Wukong, felt his heart lift and brought his tail to curl around his feet nicely, and returned the nuzzle.
"Thank you.."
He muttered as Wukongs' eyes drew a close and he began to sleep sitting up right.
Mo, gave a smile before peeking his head out from the blanket.
"Meow."
"I don't know if that was for a your welcome but I'll take it

I said I was gonna post about this au so here we go.
I apologize in advance if it's hard to understand.
So first we have Monkey King who I haven't figured out rather I want to call him MonkeyStar or PeachStar. He's still born from a stone so that's still true and you know something tells me he wasn't born in an area with cats but rather monkeys so he still has his toop, his "clan" area is mainly a lush forest and Rocky areas surrounded near water food isn't hard to find since they mainly just eat fruits and occasionally bugs.
Now when I say Clan I mean just him and his monkey's he doesn't really have a clan since it's just him and his monkey's and there's no reason for a clan if there's no longer danger or threats.
When he became leader he didn't exactly become leader the traditional way by going to the Moonstone he just became leader after jumping through a waterfall, this is cause he didn't know what clans where and didn't learn till his training era(so with master Subodhi).
During his training era he had an existential crisis and went to go become immortal so he wandered till he found this group of cats that where being trained by this much older cat, (side note- this may or may not change depending on what I do but for now the pre- jttw and jttw events will takes place during the same time as the book) Monkey King was given the name sun wukong while training under Subodhi.
Now I might skip the brotherhood era till I make azure and the other 2 members, but during that time he did have what was known as a clan it was small yes but he did have a technical clan.
Now I would like to mention that Starclan is the Celestial realm while Diyu is the Dark forest. Wukongs punishment is the same with being trapped under the mountain but instead of being trapped under neath like he's normally depicted or like how he's show in lmk he's more so chained down, he has chains wrapped around his body he can move around slightly but he's mainly just bound down till Tripitaka comes by and frees him(I'll mention more in a later post.)
Monkey king is currently training/mentoring is first and only apprentice/successor Mk and besides the whole Lbd and LionClaw(Azure), he's doing pretty good, he's not all that trusting to humans so him and mk only hang out on FFM(flowerclan?Monkeyclan?) But he's warming up to them again, only ever hangs with Mo tho.
(Imagine looking out your window to get fresh air and you just see a fucking cat on a cloud)
Mk has kinda the same lore as my main headcannon with him being born from the remains of Monkey kings Rock and Wukong being his father and along with Mac(who doesn't find out till later in both versions).
Now mk is a kittypet meaning he does have a owner and he lives with pigsy and tang, mk was left with pigsy when he was 2 moons old maybe and at the time pigsy was a stray(more on his backstory on a different post) and after getting a kit he panicked and went to the next person he knew to help which was tang who let him stay with him(by convincing his two legs to let them stay).
Mk grew up as an indoor cat that was granted access to go outside and wander around in the neighborhood before coming back, when he was around 7 or 8 moons old he met Mei who had escaped out of her stuffy house to explore and they hit it right off the bat and even after Mei was returned home she would come running back out to meet him and it was such a regular occurrence that both their two legs didn't mind anymore.
Now mk isn't really a noodle delivery boy but I do like to believe he helps out with deliverys with his twolegs restaurant and often tags along for the ride to help deliver noodles, he noticed that during their runs they forgot to deliver to one customer so he quickly grabbed the bag and went running down to a very creepy and abandoned construction site(he doesn't notice tho) to deliver them only to stop when he saw Pif(Ironwind would be a cool name) and Red(Redson? Redfur?) and quickly went in hiding on top of a metal pipe where he saw Monkey King's staff(literally a heavy af pole, probably was a big one before it was shrunken down).
His twolegs where most likely worry during the whole SQ, Dbk,Lbd and Azure take over cause their cats are missing during these other crazy power cats taken over/destroying the world and they where definitely confused when they saw after the Lbd thing that mk had burned scars. I bet after the whole Azure lion thing mk was put on house arrest cause I mean if your cat suddenly starts glowing and being frantic then I don't think you'd be letting them outside.
Macaque is a cool one, first off he is a loner currently keeping away from humans and sleeping in a abandoned dojo. When he was younger he was a pure white cat with stunning red markings that stood out the most(idk if he has six ears or not) of course he glamoured his fur black the moment he got the chance.
During his time with Wukong and the brotherhood he was both the Medicine cat and Deputy(this role might later be taken by Azure) , he was skilled with herbs and always ready to give Wukong some insight or warnings on what he heard tho over time it seemed the great sage was more focused on taken down the celestial realm then actually heeding his various warnings and concerns.
After Wukong was picked up by the monk macaque would of became a spy for what remained of the brotherhood, he followed would spy on the pilgrims and bring insight and speak on what he would witness or hear. He hated this not only was he more treated as a pawn then an equal, but he also had to spy on his king a cat he's grown accustomed to and seeing him bonding but also being tortured by these people it... It hurt him especially when he heard what happened to the brotherhood one day when he was away and yeah getting stabbed with a metal pole wasn't fun.
Getting revived and thrown into modern society was confusing and terrified like first day revived he almost got hit by a car, now while he ignored the Lbd's wishes macaque was determined to find and attack Wukong of course with a plan and a lot of meditation to get back in strength.
He wasn't planning on finding Mk quite the opposite, he was kinda expecting monkey king to show up and defeat his kiaju instead of almost killing pigsy and mk, and when he met mk he was more startled like who the fluff let their kit out in the busy street he could tell the kid was wukongs successor by the obvious staff and a lot of other key features and he decides to use that to his advantage.
Mk at first unlike in the show is more scared of macaque especially the way he's circling him like fresh prey but he decides the go along seeing as his training of breaking a wall wasn't going anywhere. Getting the kids power(mainly just his energy tho) was more easy then he thought he just wasn't expecting Wukong to show up so early.
Currently macaque being the most hostile and aggressive to humans is staying right clear from them and spending most his time in the dojo, sneaking onto FFM uninvited or watching mk from a distance cause something strange is up with that cub.
(I'll upload day 19 tomorrow cause I spent most my time writing this, no regrets)
