I’m glad to be included in gender, and it’s an honor to trans your gender, but gender is astrology to me. “Girl sun boy moon.” You don’t agree, but now you get me better. Send post

Anyway the reason I'm doing this is bc I'm in my Frodo-and-Merry-grew-up-like-brothers feels tonight and finding out that Frodo actually. Was born and raised in Buckland. He didn't move to the Shire until he was 21!
Was Frodo raised by Merry's parents? Are Saradoc and Esmeralda like adoptive parents to him? Was it like finally having a sibling, a little baby brother, when Merry was born? Someone to play and get into mischief with. Frodo teaching Merry all the tricks to stealing mushrooms. Was it Frodo that taught Merry to swim? I'm- I'm not sure on that last one bc Frodo can't have been too fond of water after. Well.
Anyways I'm crying

Headcannoning that reaver was 20-23 when he made the deal with the shadow court because there's no way you'd do something like that with a fully formed frontal cortex

So me and @stormer-needs-coffee somehow came to the conclusion that Invasion from Below is just a really weird D&D session between the heroes
Like if you think about it
- everyone was playing someone else, which is why everyone sounds different
- that one jumper stepping on the gun at the end was just a nat 1 perception roll
I'm sure there's more proof, feel free to add on

me: am I beyond stressed and dying?
me: it's because I had like 8 cups of fucking Chinese tea again, why must it be so good and make me feel so anxious.
Me: I will stop!
also me: *chugs 10 cups in 45 minutes* I can think again.
I love caffeine but it makes me so fucking anxious to the point I think I'm dying, why.

Just to keep things book-loyal, I hope the show keeps true to how phenomenally racist Marius is. I feel like it really adds to his wisdom.

Bro.
Bro bro bro bro bro.
I was just watching Sendarya's new video about misdirection and the kiss and it made me have a huge realization about the final scene: Aziraphale broke them up on purpose.
When Aziraphale and the Metatron are talking at the coffeeshop, it's the Metatron who goads Aziraphale into bringing Crowley back to Heaven. With everything that has happened with Heaven, and with the previous incidents where the husbands' partnership has been used as a threat by other angels and demons, it would be as obvious to Aziraphale as it is to us the audience that the Metatron likely had some ulterior motive: if both of them are in Heaven, it's easier to monitor and control them.
The Metatron is up to something, but the Metatron also is far more powerful than Aziraphale. He is a threat, and when you're under threat, you don't say no. At least not openly.
So ask yourself: Is this the face of someone who's about to "go and tell his friend the good news"?
Tumblr media
During the final scene when Aziraphale is cutting in to stop Crowley from speaking, he repeatedly looks out the window back in the direction of the coffeeshop where the Metatron is talking to Muriel. To the audience this just looks like excited jittering, but what if instead it's Aziraphale being worried that the Metatron is watching them?
Aziraphale can't explain his concerns openly to Crowley because he can't risk the Metatron overhearing / seeing that something is amiss. So instead, he acts in a way that he's sure will anger Crowley.
Aziraphale is not stupid. He knows Crowley better than anyone, how could he think that Crowley would be happy to be offered a place back in Heaven? What Aziraphale is doing is pantomiming his own happiness to make sure Crowley reacts as badly as possible, to not give Crowley the chance—not yet—to realize something is up.
Except Aziraphale didn't know that Crowley was about to confess to him. That was the miscalculation in his plan, and the reason why Aziraphale himself is genuinely upset in the latter half of the scene. But what can he do? He needs Crowley as his man on the ground. He needs the Metatron to believe that he's falling in line.
Aziraphale's plan goes pear-shaped, but, ultimately, it fulfills its goal.
