Fishing around in his kit, he finds a thread to match the colour of your toy’s eye and stitches it on securely. You hold your breath as you watch him, large hands putting back together this remnant of your childhood. He hands it back to you, presses a kiss to your forehead as you snuggle the restored toy to your chest, before packing away his kit.
