I know how Pythia would.

Pythia is a predictive AI created by Meridiem, originally just to do stockmarket stuff - loosely based on BlackRock's Aladdin system - but she has outgrown her original parameters and become a true AI. She would respond in a very Utilitarian way - which may in fact mean killing the five people on the tracks.

Utilitarianism is basically that the right thing is always what results in the greatest good or happiness for the greatest number of people. One of the problems is that humans can't always predict what the outcome of something will be. What if the one person on the track is a Doctor who might cure cancer? What if one of the five is a serial killer? Maybe you can look into all their social media accounts and family histories for anything sus, but by the time you have the problem will have resolved itself anyway. But Pythia essentially can do that and decide in miliseconds that no - those people have got to go. The question is is it really humanity's good or happiness that she prioritises most?

Iron Gates Culture: the Iron Gates culture appeared at the very start of the Mesolithic, around 13,000 BC, in the Iron Gates region of the Danube, one of the earliest specifically Eastern European cultures (alongside the Shan Koba).

I have thought about this a little bit. At least I've thought about loading up Icewind Dale for the first time in years and making a party of my current characters.

Tenley Tych would be a fighter type. Maybe a Monk. She'd honestly be way OP for a character in this game, so most of the time she'd sit back and chill letting the grown-ups feel like they're accomplishing something.

Jennifer Airhart would be a Wizard (artificer might be more appropriate for her, but it doesn't exist in Icewind Dale).

Kaya Cade - a thief or a bard, because she is both in the story. I'd probably lean more toward thief (especially since one is pretty much essential in these old games).

Sayuri Oshiro - Cleric. What kind I haven't decided, but she's definitely the most spiritually inclined. Her brother, Hiroki, the eco-warrior, would definitely be a Druid.

Doctor Jana Sarkis - maybe a multi or dual class Fighter/Wizard.

Man oh man Valheim runs like dick and ass after this update, people are furious, and as per usual IronGate is plugging their ears and going la la la nothing is wrong here. I thought Skyrim was bad when it comes to leaning all its weight on the mod community to make it fucking remotely functional, and then I picked up Valheim-- only Valheim's dev team is actively malicious towards its players.
