Keith Lee VS Atlanta

I love me some Keith Lee omg this Atlanta´s food scene situation is so crazy. Let me break it down to y’all why this is happening based on Vedic astrology.

Keith Lee is an Ardra moon (Rahu ruled) in Vedic astrology. Ardra nakshatra is ruled by Rudra who is the god of storms and the hunter. Ardra nakshatra’s goal is to destroy through storms and clear the path of someone’s life from inconfortable/painful/bad situations.

Before Ardra nakshatra there is Rohini and Mrigashirsha nakshatras. Those two were stuck in family issues and situations that were no good for them, obstructing their path. Ardra then comes in their life and cuts those issues, helping them escape and be free to start on a new path.

That’s exactly what the Atlanta vs Keith Lee situation is all about. I also assume Keith Lee’s wife is a rohini native.

So the restaurant called «  the real milk and honey » created issues for her and then Keith Lee had to intervene to clear the path for her so she will never have to experience this situation ever again. The thing is ardra nakshatra cannot stop until it has cleared it out all. That’s why Keith Lee kept doing what he did cause he was doing it to help his wife and to help local people so they won’t have to go through what she went through.

The storms are blessings in disguise cause afterwards people can build new foundations and start fresh.

Now the most interesting is on Monday 30th October the moon was in Rohini nakshatra then the whole week the moon was transitioning in Gemini nakshatras and on the 2nd November the moon was in Ardra nakshatra.

In conclusion Keith Lee was victorious because he was doing his mission as a food critic for the greater good (aka how Rahu ruled people can excel), he was honest (one of the main amazing qualities of Ardra natives) and he cleared the path for people to have better and improved experiences in ATL restaurant scene. Moon with Saturn is rough. It’s objectively one of the toughest astrology placements, that being said, they aren’t that close together in your chart so it’s not as significant. It’s a tough placement because the moon (a fickle watery “planet” representing our daily thoughts and feelings) is being held by the constraints of Saturn (a cold unfeeling planet representing discipline, karma, and delayed success). Lots of emotional turmoil with this placement as Saturn forces you to learn things the hard way.

The way to emotional stability with this placement is by maintaining disclipline (either emotionally or workwise) and by taking the long hard path instead of the short easy path. In extreme cases, it may even be a life of asceticism, but as I said you don’t have this placement very strongly so I doubt that extreme an interpretation applies to you.

The moon rules your first house representing self, identity and the physical body. Saturn rules your 7th and 8th houses representing relationships, other peoples money, sex as a physical act (as opposed to sex as a form of pleasure- think moreso sex work and sexual violence) occult and witchcraft.

The moon and Saturn themselves are in the 12th house of mental institutions, prison, isolation and spiritual liberation.

So some of the themes I just mentioned might be relevant to the difficulties you experience.

The moon is also the mother, so your mother might be strict and disciplined herself and/or have gone through many struggles, which you may have inherited as Saturn is associated with karma.

However you also have Jupiter in the 2nd house, which shows great singing talent, and a positive relationship with your immediate family. Also a potential to garner wealth.

Also- not really related to western astrology- just a fun fact relating to Vedic (Indian) astrology. Your moon (most important planet) is in Mrigashira, meaning “deer’s head” in Sanskrit. Its associated animal is the male serpent and is ruled by the Hindu moon god Soma. It has two main myths associated with it, one being the story of Rohini who turns into a deer and leaves Heaven to escape the romantic pursuit of her father (ew), the other is a story relating to being wrongfully punished for speaking your truth.

To summarise, it has imagery of snakes, deer, leaving Heaven (may be compared to the Christian “Fall”), being pursued and trying to escape it, isn’t some of that so Gardener of Eden? I always felt like you had Mrigashira in your chart after listening to your work lol

In vedic astrology, Rudra is the ruling deity of Ardra nakshatra, the 6th lunar mansion in the Hindu zodiacal system. Rudra is a form of Lord Shiva the Destroyer. To help Brahma in his creation of the universe, Rudra was instructed to separate his male and female forms and make eleven copies of himself so that they could reproduce together. These beings formed from Brahma's fury were full of anger and threatened to destroy the world that he was attempting to create. Brahma instructed Rudra to control his anger by meditating. Rudra threw himself into yoga to conquer his mind and become peaceful. Brahma was pleased with the work that Rudra had done on himself and renamed him Shiva. Literally translated, Rudra means the "howler" or the "most frightening one" while Shiva means "calm" or "benevolent." Rudra's self-mastery through yoga is why he is revered as one of the original masters of the practice, another being Brahma. Rudra is perhaps a more notable yogic master because of the inner rage he had to conquer within himself. His path to self-control was more challenging because he is the embodiment of Brahma's anger.

When used unhealthily, this destructive force is inflicted on innocent people and things around the native with Rudra influencing their chart. It can also be turned inward by the native onto themselves. Here we can see the archetype of the tortured bad boy or the tragic bad girl. No superficiality is tolerated (at least not comfortably) at this point in the zodiac and must be destroyed, including one's own character.

Some of the symbology associated with Ardra includes the color green (Ardra translating to mean moist one or fresh one), a jewel, a human head and a teardrop. The color green reminds us of the rich landscape of a forest after a storm. After a violent downpour the plant life is hydrated, nourished, and rejuvenated. Here is a reminder that storms, while frightening experiences best avoided from a superficial standpoint, are not only beautiful on a deeper level but necessary for growth. This same principle can easily be extended to human beings and is the major lesson we learn from Ardra nakshatra: Anger is not bad. We need anger. The challenge is directing it properly.

The symbol of the jewel evokes ideas of the formation of diamonds. It is commonly known that tremendous heat and pressure are required to form diamonds, and that they are held around the world to be extremely valuable. Again, we are brought back to the idea of using our turbulent, angry emotions (think of the heat and pressure required for a diamond to form) as tools to create a life that we truly value (the diamond itself).

The human head and teardrop are associated with Ardra because it is a nakshatra of intellect, deep reflection, and also of anguish and suffering. Crying has been said to be a remedy for those with prominent Ardra placements in their chart because it releases pent up emotions. After crying we are left with a clean emotional slate and there is now space to recreate ourselves.

PARAMAHANSA YOGANANDA BIRTH CHART ANALYSIS

Let's look into the chart of a very wise man, a Yogi from India known as Paramahansa Yogananda (original name is Mukunda Lal Ghosh), a spiritual teacher who popularized the practice of Kriya Yoga all over the world. He is known as "the father of meditation in the west".

His book "Autobiography of a Yogi" gained huge popularity, to the extent that after George Harrison from The Beatles read the book, Yogananda was featured on the cover of the album "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band". Steve Jobs also has read this book several times.

Virgo rising, Mercury in Sagittarius, the sign of spirituality, in the 4th house of home and parents. His parents were spiritual, they practiced Kriya Yoga, and they were disciples of Lahiri Mahasaya, a great Guru who taught a whole line of teachers. This definitely means that he came from a spiritual home, he had a spiritual upbringing which shared his life direction. Sagittarius is the sign of Travel also. And Mercury is about transportation. His family moved around a lot when he was a child bc his father worked in a large Indian railway company.

His moon is in the 12th house. This can show a deep bond with the mother and sometimes loss of the mother figure in one way or another. Paramahansa Yogananda was deeply affected when his mother passed away during his childhood, then the Divine Mother appeared to him in a vision and told him that She is the one who was taking care of him all along. The 12th house is also about foreign lands. He had great success abroad in the USA where he founded an institution to initiate disciples into the practice of Kriya Yoga and teach them. In year 1925 he founded The International Center for the Self Realization Fellowship in Los Angeles,California,which is near his sun-ascendant line & Uranus-midheaven line in astrocartography. He was meant to "shine" there & get recognition (sun-asc line) & he got sudden success(Uranus-Mc line).

His Ascendant and moon, according to Vedic astrology, fall in the Lunar Mansion called Magha. This is the Lunar Mansion or Pitris (ancestors). People with this lunar mansion honor their forefathers. They don't have to be related by bIood though! Paramahansa Yogananda chose his own ancestors who are the line of Kriya Yoga masters and teachers: Mahavatar Babaji, Lahiri Mahasaya, and Swami Sri Yukteswar Giri who was Yogananda's teacher. He followed and honored ancient wisdom. Also if you're one of those who believe that Nakshatras have a planetary lord then Magha is ruled by Ketu (the South Node) which purifies the shallowness of material life, this shows detachment from the material realm and a tendency towards austerity.

This is what the 2nd century astrologer Vettius Valens says in "Anthologies - Book I" about the bound of Yogananda's Ascendant, the Mercury bound of Virgo :" lofty, procurational, an arranger, handsome, organizing great affairs, most intelligent, entirely noble and eminent..". I think it describes him accurately. Also the fact that his asc is in the bound of Mercury contributed to the immense success of his autobiographical book (Mercury is writing and books). The 12th part of Mercury is also on his Ascendant. His natal Mercury is actually debilitated. This is a proof that debilitation isn't the end of the world. His book sold four million copies.

His out of sect malefic is saturn is in the 2nd house of wealth. He was not interested in wealth and making money which caused his family- especially his older brother - to criticize him a lot. He was only interested in what transcends the material world which we live in.

He met his teacher Swami Sri Yukteswar Giri when he was 17 years old in 1910, and he was in a level 2 peak period when releasing from the Lot of Spirit. In 1915 when he was 22 he formally took his monastic vows, which was in another level 2 peak period. In 1917 he founded a school in India for young boys which teaches Yoga and spirituality, which was another level 2 peak period, but now under level 1 Gemini period, and Gemini rules schools and education. In the pre-LB period, in 1924, he was on a successful tour in the USA. In 1925, he was in a level 2 peak period and that was when he established the Self Realization Fellowship in California.

He has his 1h ruler Mercury conjunct his benefic of sect Venus cause he has a night chart. Venus rules his 9h which is all about gurus and teachers so the best thing in his life is his guru and teacher Swami Sri Yukteswar Giri. Yukteswar had a stellium in Taurus (Sun, Mercury, Mars and the North Node), and they all fall into Yogananda's 9h of teachers. Nice fact: Yukteswar was an astrologer.

Yogananda composed a lot of spiritual music ("Cosmic chants"), he has Mercury-Venus conjunction which imo gives musicians and musical abilities. I am not using asteroids much nowadays but I couldn't ignore his chiron conjunct Ascendant: it's clear in his book that since he was a child he realized that he was not like other people, that he was connected to the spiritual world which shallow people didn't even pay attention to, that he didn't desire to get a high position, accumulate wealth, get married, have children etc ... he didn't care about all that,he desired a union with the divine and that was his desire only. In a much corrupted world back in his days as it is now,his teachings brought inner peace to people. In this way he is a healer, & he devoted his life not to personal material ambition but to a higher purpose.

Your perspective on astrology is unique in that it cuts through the bullshit. I like how quick you are to point out what is obviously woman-bashing propaganda from centuries past, and what is actually plausible and in-tune with the nature of the sign/nakshatra. However, I am actually really curious about your perspective on monogamy? There are some ideas circulating in feminist circles that monogamy was enforced to benefit men (to ensure that the offspring is theirs) at the expense of women's freedom and choice. For example, in one of your older posts, you implied that an evolved Venus in Aries would be more willing to accommodate a monogamous relationship, despite the placement having a reputation for being more... sexually liberal, I guess. Or that a Venus in Gemini is fickle only when they're unevolved, wherein the implication is that flings are only for the unevolved and the relationships endgoal is a strictly monogamous relationship. Then again, I am pretty sure you made those observations based on tropical astrology, so maybe there's a different way to look at it from vedic.

I'm really conflicted on this myself, I guess I can definitely see where both ways of thinking are coming from. It'd be lovely to hear your current perspective, if you are willing to share. Thank you for your work!

those posts are from atleast one year ago and i will admit most of my early work on tropical astrology is a bit shallow.

that said, i dont think monogamy curtails women's freedom or choice. do i find "monogamy" empowering? not necessarily but i also dont find casual sex "empowering". the truth is there is no winning either way. marriage/monogamy is an institution that is deeply flawed but what is the opposite of it? having as many partners as one wants? maybe it suits some but (and i know ill get flak for saying this) an "evolved" person is one who abstains or exercises self-control. not just with regard to sex but with any kind of indulgence, be it alcohol, drugs etc. i think its really flawed to view "freedom" as the ability to consume limitlessly. anybody who lives like that will tell you how self-destructive that is. you indulge too much (in anything) and you risk your own ruin.

we need structure, order and stability, otherwise we feel disoriented and spiritually lost. ive never looked at someone who's partying every night, doing a cocktail of 10 substances and waking up in a different person's house every morning and thought "wow they're so free!!". i know this is a very binary way of thinking and not what you intended to ask but im just airing my thoughts out.

as corny and cheesy as it sounds, i think the only thing that makes a partnership between two people "right" is love. a lot of men want a bangmaid or they just want to bang. neither of which is empowering for the women involved. im not trying to say that sex in itself is disempowering but that the ways in which men who only want sex from you treat you are. casual sex or having multiple sexual partners is fun but ive always felt like its disingenuous to call it empowering bc i dont think empowerment is something we get from having sex??? i feel like sex positivity has become a way for men and women to delude other women into thinking that they'll be happier or "freer" if they have more sex.

i dont want to be someone's sexdoll and neither do i want to be bangmaid.

but i believe in love and the highest form of love is consideration. the only way we can transcend systemic issues is if we have love for each other because if you love someone, you will value them, prioritize them, respect them and do whatever it takes to make things easier for them. expecting servitude and sex from women means you've never loved anybody in your life lol. i dont really think equality can exist or will exist simply because our world is really imbalanced but i do think individually we can champion each other and help each other rise up, if we move through the world with love and grace. i dont expect anything from "men" and atp i dont want to associate with them anyway but i do believe a man in love is one who will extend grace and id never feel like i needed anything else (from another man).

all of this is just my perspective and i will admit its vvv hard for me to find a man attractive or feel "connected" to him. i feel pretty asexual if im not seeing someone and i can only be intimate with someone i love and connect to deeply. this is why things i say or describe in my posts often dont have sexuality in them or are monogamy centered. that said, im not an advocate for it or anything, everyone above the age of 18 can do what they like and make decisions for themselves<3

The event was the 28th International Vedic Astrology Conference, which took place in Kolkata, India, from January 30 – February 4, 2018. The conference was held under the auspices of the Krishnamurti Institute of Vedic Culture for Public Welfare.

This year was unique because there was an open call for speakers, and more than 40 western astrologers gave talks at the conference.

On February 1, Glenn Perry gave a 30-minute presentation at the conference, arguing that the tropical zodiac is the one true zodiac and the sidereal zodiac is wrong. This presentation was given to an audience of Indian astrologers, where the sidereal zodiac has been the primary reference system for centuries.

The talk was widely viewed as disrespectful, both by Indian and western astrologers who attended the conference, not so much for the points argued in the talk but instead due to the tone, which came off as mean-spirited and divisive in what was otherwise set up as a more conciliatory east meets west conference.

There was a lot of discussion about the talk online after it occurred, and a number of people filed complaints with the International Society for Astrological Research (ISAR), since Perry was representing them at the conference as their ethics chair, research director, and longtime board member.

As a result of the controversy and subsequent complaints from the membership, he was eventually given an ultimatum by the ISAR board to either step down as ethics chair, or leave the board entirely, and he chose to leave the board.

Atheistic or scientific thinker in the broadest sense, are all looking at the miracle without the Miracle maker.

Atheism is a rejection of possibilities that any deities exist, or is it the limitation of Gods name as he has so many.

The big bang in principle is a miracle in itself that still maintains its immensity of mystery in an eternal living virtue.

The individual miracle of the living self, which makes sense to the miracle maker, is unfortunately misunderstood by the rational thinking ego and its status quo.

Genesis is the curveball that the Miracle maker has thrown and needs to be seen as metaphor, how to batter this live force to a homerun, that is out of this world.

Genesis and the beginning and primeval history of this world is written and worshipped by people, that break and abuse every law of the very same holy book.

The intelligent Miracle maker put them into their place as a mirage for the mental individual challenge to find the true spirit and is magic.

In Genesis it is written that everyone is created in the image of God and that is only partly true. People who live by the power of creed, manipulation, dogma and the money that says; to trust in God are the images of how God is not. The holy war and all conflicts therefore are the mental handicap in people with their status and its ropes, not knowing to be free and understanding the love of the miracle maker. The miracle maker does not need any books or institutions for to deliver from within.

Innocence in is purest form make miracle possible and in Genesis, God forgives humanity for disobeying and extends any reconciliation.

Some people cannot forgive and reconcile and make guilt the emotional monopoly, the tradition and history knowing that God will forgive. The miracle maker knows that little worlds need little Genesis, sometimes just a rock to go around or banging the head with devotion against the wall to prove it all.

The comprehension beyond is the knowing of God and lover of souls that serve humanity with miracles of the eternal Genesis in the now.

❥ what i realised from observing celebrity charts, Chiron conjunct MC may bring fame but in exchange fans may know a lot about your wounded areas or generally may know a lot about the individual ( including a lot of transformative area of their lives). They become almost like a mentor in the eyes of their fans. The individual with Chiron conjunct MC may be a comfort person to a lot of people.

❥ lord of your Vedic 5th bouse determines how you'll act when becoming a parent.

For example, in 2nd house, individual may gain wealth through having children. Children may be valued, may find sudden fulfilment through becoming a parent.

In 6th house, may bring a lot of health issues to the parent or the child as it is seen as a hard house in Vedic astrology. It can bring unexpected bills to the parent after having children also.

In 12th house, may bring mental health issues to the parent or child, also isolation can be a big issue here. Is also seen as a difficult house to have 5th lord in. May be some confusion when communicating to the child.

❥ Planets near the MC line (if no planets check the IC) can determine and help to figure what career path may be best for you.

-For example, individuals with Moon near the MC line (or IC) can be seen working as a marine, cooks, nurses, working with women, travelling (flight attendant), restaurants.

-With Venus near the MC line, something to do with beauty, music, entertainment, hotels, luxuries, art, pleasures.

-Mars near MC line may suggest working with metal, construction, police, surgeons, engineers, vehicles, a lot of energy, weapons, soldiers.

❥ what i have learned from Vedic astrology is that planets have cast spell aspects.

-For example Saturn has three aspects and they are 3rd, 7th and 10th house away from itself.

-So say you have saturn in the 5th house. saturn will also have influence on the 7th, 11th and 2nd house in your chart. so if you are studying saturn in your chart, these aspects will also be important.

❥ Virgo placements like to touch but don't necessarily liked to be touched by other people. For example, they might love to massage your head with their fingers or like to carefully stroke your palm and so on.

❥ so saturn rules restrictions, limitations, longevity and so on. so what house saturn is in will determine what will take longer for you to master in your life.

-For example, saturn in 10th house individuals may struggle to find a job at a young age.

-saturn in 7th house people may have difficulty with relationships and may not date until they actually get married.

-saturn in 11th house, this may bring tension and problems relating to social groups and friends. the individual may have difficulty with friendships and may be unfamiliar with big group setting.

⤷ don't forget that overtime saturn matures in your chart and brings LONGEVITY and success in that house its in. Of course aspects are really important as well.
