Truth is , you were never going to be enough for him . You are not the person he thinks about when hes having the best time of his life while you're away, you're only the person he goes to when life gets a bit grey. You're not his first option, his second, or third, but that's ok if he changes you a bit , tweaks your personality then maybe, just maybe you will be his fourth choice. You were never beautiful in his eyes , only decent looking from time to time. You were too loud, your family probably scared the hell out of him . You were too opinionated, not 'motherly' enough. You were smart but not as smart as he is . You were independent but still needed him for validation, to make sure you did things correctly . You were confident once until he brought up your insecurities that you've worked so hard to get rid of.

But here's the thing, he has no fucking idea what you've been through in your life. Hell, if he had lived a day in your life on a decent day he would crumble three hours in. He may have made you feel like the smallest person in the world, the weakest most neediest person ever , but babygirl you should know that you're STRONG. Stronger than any of these half assed men out here. You are love. And love is messy and unpredictable. Love is free and limitless. Its gentle and chaotic. It's a storm and a calm. Love is you.

Some day someone is going to look at you and embrace your Love. Treat you like love, with love. Think of you on the best days of their lives Hold you near and whisper poetry while admiring your beauty. Until then, I want you to be happy . To be glad that you've gotten so far. To remind yourself that you are the strongest person you know .

✨”Dreams don’t have an expiry date. Only people do.” By Madame Merola. I don’t know who needs to hear this right now but I feel strongly led in my spirit to share this. There is no expiry date on your dreams. What you think is “too late” for you is just your way of making excuses. There are so many people who achieved their greatest success at a time when many people “retire” in life. I am a Christian so I am inspired by many great stories of people in the Bible who achieved their dreams at old age or in unusual circumstances. Abraham had a baby (Isaac) with Sarah when she 90 and he was 100 years old. They waited 25 years for that dream to come to pass. Joseph became Prime Minister after 13 years of waiting and probably thinking it will not happen because he was sold to slavery then thrown in prison. As long as you have breath in you, keep hope alive and believe that your time will come. I had a dream to become a Talk Show Host like Oprah. I waited for 20 years before I started hosting my own show and speaking on various platforms. Come what may, let no one tell you that your dream is impossible. Dreams will keep you burning hot with passion and energy if you don’t quit on them. Dreams never die. Only people do with their dreams buried inside of them. Your time is coming. Expect it. Museum Of Exhibits

☘️ The day that we are born is the only time we will ever have the most neurological pathways going off. Throughout our lives, we end up pruning the ones we don't need and keep the ones we need similar to selecting which lights we want on. All the things that we hold on to, whether good or bad, are neurological pathways we chose to keep because an external source and this could be family, friends, society, or other said they are worth keeping. The makeup of your brain is like a museum displaying the exhibits it thinks are worth showing.

🍀 The illusion lies when we believe that the piece we are showcasing has to stay there permanently, and there's nothing we can do to get rid of it or replace it, But just as museums take away objects or displays. The same is true with your brain. You can replace and change or turn off neurological pathways that no longer are serving you. The pathways that are binding you and making you feel trapped. You don't have to keep these things. You can take this display and replace it with something new or just throw it away entirely.

If there’s one thing I have learned  its that the people I surround myself with have an impact on me My smile is a repercussion of their smiles As our eyes meet and connect intricately Like  waves on the shoreline If there’s one thing I have learned it is that I am a light . A being of light It is my name and resonates deeply within the structures of my bones If there’s one thing that I have learned the most it is that I owe it to myself to be free and happy . Free from your opinion , your energy that brings me down and the tidal waves of sadness. What I am trying to say is that it’s just not one thing that has taught me the way of life. Its the little things that Mount up and impact this journey I take. A journey which I choose to continue every single day. It is a path not easy , yet I wake up every morning and decide that today will be a day worthy of growth. If there’s one thing I have learned it is that I am the dictator of my life. I can choose to stop it at any second , yet I fight and gain strength and with this strength I become the most powerful version of myself pushing my being to conquer infinite impossibles.
